Big data has the ability to open up innovative and ground-breaking prospects for the electrical grid, which also supports to obtain a variety of technological, social, and financial benefits. There is an unprecedented amount of heterogeneous big data as a consequence of the growth of power grid technologies, along with data processing and advanced tools. The main obstacles in turning the heterogeneous large dataset into useful results are computational burden and information security. The original contribution of this paper is to develop a new big data framework for detecting various intrusions from the smart grid systems with the use of AI mechanisms. Here, an AdaBelief Exponential Feature Selection (AEFS) technique is used to efficiently handle the input huge datasets from the smart grid for boosting security. Then, a Kernel based Extreme Neural Network (KENN) technique is used to anticipate security vulnerabilities more effectively. The Polar Bear Optimization (PBO) algorithm is used to efficiently determine the parameters for the estimate of radial basis function. Moreover, several types of smart grid network datasets are employed during analysis in order to examine the outcomes and efficiency of the proposed AdaBelief Exponential Feature Selection- Kernel based Extreme Neural Network (AEFS-KENN) big data security framework. The results reveal that the accuracy of proposed AEFS-KENN is increased up to 99.5% with precision and AUC of 99% for all smart grid big datasets used in this study.

Xanthogranulomatous inflammation (XGI) is an uncommon benign inflammatory disease process characterized by aggregation of lipid laden foamy macrophages, among other inflammatory cells. XGI affecting the kidney and renal pelvis is otherwise known as xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis (XGP), which has been reported to be present in approximately 5% of all reported xanthogranulomatous cases. The clinical relevance of this disease is that it often mimics malignancy, and preoperative imaging is unable to differentiate between the two. Our case report demonstrated a renal lesion that mimicked malignancy and ultimately required histopathological examination for the diagnosis of XGP. Current consensus remains that surgery is the mainstay form of treatment. However, this case report showed that use of antibiotics alone can be successful as the patient showed significant improvement and resolution on interval imaging.

B cell progenitor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) treatment has been revolutionized by T cell-based immunotherapies-including chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy (CAR-T) and the bispecific T cell engager therapeutic, blinatumomab-targeting surface glycoprotein CD19. Unfortunately, many patients with B-ALL will fail immunotherapy due to 'antigen escape'-the loss or absence of leukemic CD19 targeted by anti-leukemic T cells. In the present study, we utilized a genome-wide CRISPR-Cas9 screening approach to identify modulators of CD19 abundance on human B-ALL blasts. These studies identified a critical role for the transcriptional activator ZNF143 in CD19 promoter activation. Conversely, the RNA-binding protein, NUDT21, limited expression of CD19 by regulating CD19 messenger RNA polyadenylation and stability. NUDT21 deletion in B-ALL cells increased the expression of CD19 and the sensitivity to CD19-specific CAR-T and blinatumomab. In human B-ALL patients treated with CAR-T and blinatumomab, upregulation of NUDT21 mRNA coincided with CD19 loss at disease relapse. Together, these studies identify new CD19 modulators in human B-ALL.

This paper focuses on the oscillatory properties of the third-order semi-canonical nonlinear delay differential equation. By using the new canonical transform method, we transformed the studied equation into a canonical-type equation, which simplified the examination of the studied equation. The obtained oscillation results are new and complement the existing results mentioned in the literature. Examples are provided to illustrate the importance and novelty of the main results.

The purpose of this paper is to add some new asymptotic and oscillatory results for third-order neutral delay differential equations with noncanonical operators. Without assuming any extra conditions, by using the canonical transform technique, the studied equation is changed to a canonical type equation, and this reduces the number of classes of nonoscillatory solutions into two instead of four. Then, we obtain Myshkis type sufficient conditions for the nonexistence of Kneser type solutions for the studied equation. Finally, employing these newly obtained criteria, we provide conditions for the oscillation of all solutions of the studied equation. Examples are presented to illustrate the importance and the significance of the main results.

Introduction: This pandemic has been accompanied by an overabundance of information and misinformation, an ‘infodemic’ on a global scale which have made acceptability of COVID-19 vaccine a major challenge. The objective of the study was to find out the Beliefs of mothers towards COVID-19 vaccine for children and its impact on vaccine hesitancy. Materials and Methods: After obtaining Institutional ethical clearance and informed consent, a total of 360 mothers who were having at least one child from 5 to 18 years were recruited based on simple random sampling. Face-to-face interview was conducted. The questionnaire was based on the WHO-SAGE working group on vaccine hesitancy. Based on Bartlett’s test of sphericity, the model was found to be fit (there is adequate number of correlations for factor analysis) and KMO test results imply the samples are adequate for factor analysis. K means cluster analysis was used to divide the samples into three clusters and individual respondent’s cluster membership was also identified. Results: It was found 49.4% of mothers were hesitant to vaccine their children against COVID-19. The seven items (reasons for vaccine hesitancy) were grouped into three dimensions (believes in vaccine effectiveness but concerned about side effects, believes in the importance of taking COVID vaccine, trusts information about COVID vaccine), based on how each item loads on to each of three factors. Cluster 1 was that they believe in effectiveness of vaccine but are concerned about side effects (.92094). Conclusion: Mothers’ concerns were mainly about the safety and adverse effects of vaccine.

The authors present a new technique for transforming fourth-order semi-canonical nonlinear neutral difference equations into canonical form. This greatly simplifies the examination of the oscillation of solutions. Some new oscillation criteria are established by comparison with first-order delay difference equations. Examples are provided to illustrate the significance and novelty of the main results. The results are new even for the case of nonneutral difference equations.

This study addresses the critical issue of removing copper(II) ions from water using an eco-friendly approach with natural biomaterials. Alginate, a natural polysaccharide, is employed as the primary adsorption material. The study involves the conversion of alginate into nanoparticles, and a ternary blend is prepared by mixing alginate nanoparticles with carboxymethyl cellulose and polyethylene glycol (AL-NPs/CMC/PEG). The blend's morphological and structural transformations have been comprehensively investigated using techniques such as DLS, FT-IR, XRD, TGA, and SEM. Batch experiments were conducted systematically to investigate crucial parameters, such as contact time (60–300 min), initial copper concentration (62.5 ppm–1000 ppm), solution pH (2–8), and adsorbent dosage (1–5 g). The results obtained are highly encouraging, revealing an impressive 80.9 % efficiency in the removal of copper ions. The acquired experimental data were then subjected to analysis with Langmuir and Freundlich, isotherm, as well as pseudo-first and pseudo-second-order kinetics studies. The outcomes from these isotherm and kinetics models indicated a favorable fit with the Freundlich isotherm, suggesting a strong affinity between the adsorbent and the metal ions. Furthermore, the kinetic studies revealed that the adsorption process closely adheres to pseudo-second-order kinetics, underlining the efficiency and reliability of the adsorption process. From desorption studies, 0.1 M HCl was an extremely effective eluant when compared to HNO3 and EDTA. It could be reused three time with appreciate efficiency. The research underscores the potential for an environmentally sustainable solution to address the persistent environmental challenge posed by copper ion contamination.

We study the oscillatory properties of the solutions of the third-order nonlinear semi-noncanonical delay difference equation D_3y(n)+f(n)y^\beta(\sigma(n))=0, where $D_3 y(n)=\Delta(b(n)\Delta(a(n)(\Delta y(n))^\alpha))$ is studied. The main idea is to transform the semi-noncanonical operator into canonical form. Then we obtain new oscillation theorems for the studied equation. Examples are provided to illustrate the importance of the main results.

Insulin Resistance is a pathophysiological function of Type II Diabetes Mellitus which can be comprehended by quantifying the parameters critical in the insulin signaling pathway. Serum has a profound role in evaluating cellular growth and metabolism in vitro. The growth factors present in serum such as IGF, EGF, FGF affects the regulatory components of insulin signaling pathway that leads to insulin resistance. This study explores the effect of growth factors present in Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) in insulin signaling and endothelium regulation in endothelial cells (Ea. hyp926). The dose-dependent and time-dependent treatment of FBS on the cells displayed changes that were detected by MTT and 2-NBDG assays for assessing cell viability and glucose uptake. Spectrophotometric analysis of nitric oxide (NO) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) determined vascular homeostasis and no cytotoxic effects of serum, respectively, in endothelial cells. These findings indicate that FBS at higher levels could possibly lead to loss of NO activity which in turn could impair endothelium-mediated dilation. The inhibition of enzymatic activity of eNOS may activate the release of LDH in endothelial cells. In conclusion, our findings indicate a specific concentration of serum enhances insulin signaling and endothelium cell regulation by modulating glucose uptake and NO production. The phyto nanotechnology strategy was executed for the genesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles by applying bark aqueous extract of Acacia nilotica (AN-ZnO NPs). The AN-ZnO NPs emergence was substantiated through a distinct peak at 350 nm in the ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy. The fourier transform infrared spectroscopy exposed the phyto-organic moieties engaged as reduction and stabilization factors in fabricating nanoparticles. The crystalline trait, elemental proportions, spherical and hexagonal geometry of AN-ZnO NPs was witnessed by X-ray diffraction, energy-dispersive X-ray analysis and scanning electron microscopy. The high-resolution transmission electron microscopic technique provided the average size of 35 nm. AN-ZnO NPs presented larger inhibition zone against Candida albicans (22.7 ± 0.32 mm) at 40 µg/mL as an effectual fungicidal agent. Execution of in vitro antiradical scavenging assay of AN-ZnO NPs applying 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), nitric oxide (NO), hydroxyl radical (OH–), 2,2′-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) displayed radical scavenging trait with the minimum inhibitory concentration (IC50) of 34.54 µg/mL, 38.0 µg/mL, 41.34 µg/mL, and 35.41 µg/mL, respectively. Cytotoxic feature against MCF-7 cell line was in a dose-manner with IC50 value of 37.15 µg/mL in addition to apoptotic proteins expressions were displayed by AN-ZnO NPs. An appreciable larvicidal role of AN-ZnO NPs was rendered against Anopheles stephensi with LD50 (0.31 ppm) and LD90 (0.59 ppm), besides acetylcholinesterase inhibition. Further, biofilm origination was remarkably ceased by the Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae, respectively. All our experimented reports on AN-ZnO NPs attested the credible applicability of ZnO NPs in biomedical care for health troubles.

We obtain some new sufficient conditions for the oscillation of the solutions of the second-order quasilinear difference equations with delay and advanced neutral terms. The results established in this paper are applicable to equations whose neutral coefficients are unbounded. Thus, the results obtained here are new and complement some known results reported in the literature. Examples are also given to illustrate the applicability and strength of the obtained conditions over the known ones.

In this paper, we present sufficient conditions for the third-order nonlinear advanced difference equations of the form Δ(a(n))Δ(b(n)Δy((n)))=p(n)f(y(σ(n)))\Delta \left( {a\left( n \right)} \right)\Delta \left( {b\left( n \right)\Delta y\left( {\left( n \right)} \right)} \right) = p\left( n \right)f\left( {y\left( {\sigma \left( n \right)} \right)} \right) to have property B or to be oscillatory. These conditions are based on monotonic properties and estimates of nonoscillatory solutions of corresponding canonical type equations. The obtained results extended and improve known results mentioned in the literature.

In this paper, we present several sufficient conditions for the existence of nonoscillatory solutions to the following third order neutral type difference equation \Delta^3(x_n+a_n x_{n-l} +b_n x_{n+m})+p_n x_{n-k} - q_n x_{n+r}=0,\quad n\geq n_0 via Banach contraction principle. Examples are provided to illustrate the main results. The results obtained in this paper extend and complement some of the existing results.

Objectives: The nanobiotechnology era has sparked interest in the green synthesis of stable silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) without hazardous chemicals. As a result, the current study used chitosan-salicylaldehyde Schiff base (CSB) as a non-toxic, reducing and stabilizing agent to prepare stable silver nanoparticles. Methods: The characterization of Ag-NPs impregnated chitosan-salicylaldehyde Schiff base was fulfilled using UV-Vis, FTIR, XRD and TEM studies. Results: The absorption band present around 425 nm in UV-Vis spectra indicated the formation of Ag-NPs. The appearance of a new band for the CN bond, deduction in the intensity of the CO group of salicylaldehyde and NH group of chitosan confirmed the formation of Schiff base and Ag-NPs in FTIR analysis. XRD pattern revealed the orientation and crystalline nature of Ag-NPs with 2θ at 38°, 46° and 54° related to Ag-NPs (JCPDS No. 04-0783), whereas the peak at 2θ = 27° associated with CSB. The total porosity of 53.24% was determined using the liquid displacement method. The CSB-Ag-NPs have good scavenging activity (46.25% and 49.35% activity in DPPH assay and H2O2 assay), great antibacterial (zone of inhibition 17 mm and 19 mm for E-Coli and Pseudomonas sp.), antifungal (18 mm for P. notatum), and anti-larvicidal activity, according to biological assessments. Conclusions: The synthesised Ag-NPs were non-toxic to marine ecosystems in a safety bioassay test.

Abstract In this paper, we establish some sufficient conditions which ensure that the solutions of the third order delay difference equation with a negative middle term Δ ( a n Δ ( Δ w n ) α ) − p n ( Δ w n + 1 ) α − q n h ( w n − l ) = 0 , n ≥ n 0 , $$ \Delta \bigl(a_{n}\Delta (\Delta w_{n})^{\alpha } \bigr)-p_{n}(\Delta w_{n+1})^{ \alpha }-q_{n}h(w_{n-l})=0,\quad n\geq n_{0}, $$ are oscillatory. Moreover, we study the asymptotic behavior of the nonoscillatory solutions. Two illustrative examples are included for illustration.

Objective: Simulation based training with training models is being increasingly used as a tool to help trainees mount the learning curve. However, validation studies of surgical simulators are often limited by small numbers. We aim to evaluate the feasibility of validating simulation-training tasks in laparoscopy and flexible ureteroscopy (FURS) rapidly at a large-scale conference setting for residents. Methods: Seventy-six urology residents from various Asian countries were assessed on their laparoscopic and FURS skills during the 14th Urological Association of Asia Congress 2016. Residents performed the peg transfer task from the fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery (FLS) and completed inspection of calyces and stone retrieval using a flexible ureteroscope in an endourological model. Each participant's experience (no experience, 1–30 or >30 procedures) in laparoscopy, rigid ureteroscopy (RURS) and FURS was self-reported. Results: Median time taken to complete the laparoscopic task decreased with increasing laparoscopic experience (209 s vs. 177 s vs. 145 s, p=0.008) whereas median time taken to complete the FURS tasks reduced with increasing FURS experience (405 s vs. 250 s vs. 163 s, p=0.003) but not with RURS experience (400.5 s vs. 397 s vs. 331 s, p=0.143), demonstrating construct validity. Positive educational impact of both tasks was high, with mean ratings of 4.16/5 and 4.10/5 respectively, demonstrating face validity. Conclusion: Our study demonstrates construct and face validities of laparoscopy and FURS simulation tasks among residents at a conference setting. Validation studies at a conference setting can be an effective avenue for evaluating simulation models and curriculum in the future.

The obtained results are new and improve the existing criteria. We provide examples to illustrate the main results.

This paper aims to establish adequate conditions that are intended for the oscillation of every solution of the second order advanced type half-linear difference equations with noncanonical form. Initially, we derive a sufficient condition that ensures all solutions of the studied equation are either oscillatory or tending to zero. Secondly, we obtain a criteria for the oscillation of all solutions of the studied equation. These criteria are obtained by using Riccati transformation and summation averaging method. The results established in this paper in essence complement, extend and enhance the existing outcomes recorded in the literature. The improvement of our main results are illustrated through three examples.

Sickle beta thalassemia represents the double heterozygous state of HbS and beta-thalassemia genes. Clinical manifestation varies from those indistinguishable from homozygous sickle cell anemia to completely asymptomatic ones. This disorder is diagnosed by increased levels of HbS, HbF, mildly increased HbA2 and varying levels of HbA on Hemoglobin electrophoresis. We report a 13 yrs. old girl who presented to us with jaundice for one year with hepatosplenomegaly and no history of blood transfusions or sickle cell crisis. Hb electrophoresis clinched the diagnosis of sickle beta thalassemia.
