The modern transformation of all spheres of life is associated with rapid technological and digital development. The educational sphere, focusing on external demands, systematically introduces technological and digital solutions into the processes of pedagogical systems functioning, focusing on the expansion of the educational space, on increasing the availability of educational services. In order to create a comfortable and effective digital environment in universities, it is important to take into account not only the level of development of digital competencies of students and teachers, but also their basic needs and requirements in this area. We set a goal to identify the most successful digital solutions used at this stage in university education from the students’ perspective and to consider the factors inhibiting these processes. To solve the problems, we used methods of theoretical analysis and empirical processing of research data. The main method was a survey of students using the questionnaires “Digital learning environment and online learning format” and “Quality of digital educational resources and organizational aspects of e-learning” developed by the authors. More than a thousand students from Russian universities took part in the survey. The results of the survey showed what means of communication in online learning are considered by students to be the most effective, what means of increasing productivity and what means of organization and support in online learning are most useful to them. The platforms and learning systems were considered in detail to understand the important characteristics of these services for students. The analysis highlighted the main areas in the digital transformation of the educational environment, which should be targeted for their development and improvement.

Backgroundː The aim of this study was to compare changes in plantar pressure distribution during normal stance lunges and service by professional badminton players. Methodsː The study involved 12 badminton players. The Tekscan HR pedobarographic platform (USA) was used to record data. Resultsː The results showed that both the forefoot and the hindfoot were loaded differently depending on the stage of the delivery being performed or the posture adopted. In the area of the midfoot, metatarsals and toes of the left foot, the peak pressure was lower, and the highest value was in the 3rd metatarsal during a calm stance. An analysis of changes in pressure on the foot after loading, however, relative to the initial stance showed a trend in the distribution of load on the outer surface in the left foot. On the right foot, in contrast, toe use decreased by 50%, but heel support increased by 20%, and midfoot pressure increased by 20%. During the delivery in the swing phase, there was an increase in pressure in the area of the heel of the unsupported leg. In the lunge phase, the pressure was distributed over the entire plantar surface, however, the pressure distribution remained uneven with an area of greater pressure in the heel and lateral part of the metatarsus. Conclusionsː It is recommended to introduce exercises into the training process aimed at preventing and correcting the correct position of the feet in order to reduce the risk of injuries to the ankle and knee joints.

Neuropathic pain is a condition affecting the quality of life of a substantial part of the population, but biomarkers and treatment options are still limited. While this type of pain is caused by nerve damage, in which lipids play key roles, lipidome alterations related to nerve injury remain poorly studied. Here, we assessed blood lipidome alterations in a common animal model, the rat sciatic nerve crush injury. We analyzed alterations in blood lipid abundances between seven rats with nerve injury (NI) and eight control (CL) rats in a time-course experiment. For these rats, abundances of 377 blood lipid species were assessed at three distinct time points: immediately after, two weeks, and five weeks post injury. Although we did not detect significant differences between NI and CL at the first two time points, 106 lipids were significantly altered in NI five weeks post injury. At this time point, we found increased levels of triglycerides (TGs) and lipids containing esterified palmitic acid (16:0) in the blood plasma of NI animals. Lipids containing arachidonic acid (20:4), by contrast, were significantly decreased after injury, aligning with the crucial role of arachidonic acid reported for NI. Taken together, these results indicate delayed systematic alterations in fatty acid metabolism after nerve injury, potentially reflecting nerve tissue restoration dynamics.

The article describes the solution to the problem of stabilizing a nonlinear system using machine learning methods. Neural networks are one of the promising directions in this area. The article describes a model of spiking neural network, which differs from previous generations of networks by its similarity to biological neurons. A pendulum on an elastic foundation was chosen as a dynamic system for the study. The input layer of the neural network is the so-called sensory neuron, and information about the deviation of the pendulum from the equilibrium position was received on it. The Leaky Integrate-and-Fire model of the spiking neural network was used. The article shows the process of stabilization of a pendulum on an elastic foundation. The closed system was built and a method for a numerical solution was implemented. Two configurations of control functions have been considered. It is shown that the time required to bring the system into a steady equilibrium state depends on the choice of the control function.
