Alors que les produits locaux peuvent etre achetes dans divers circuits de distribution (circuit direct, circuit indirect et circuit conventionnel) la plupart des recherches et des etudes les associent presque exclusivement aux circuits directs. L’objectif de cette recherche, menee aupres de 731 consommateurs quebecois, est de distinguer les motivations d’achat de produits locaux dans ces differents circuits de distribution. Nous demontrons que les motivations des consommateurs ne sont pas identiques dans les trois circuits de distribution de produits alimentaires locaux etudies. Le circuit conventionnel beneficie d’une motivation fonctionnelle superieure a celle du circuit direct d’une part, et d’une motivation economique superieure a celle du circuit indirect d’autre part. Nos resultats suggerent egalement que le choix du canal de distribution n’a aucun effet sur la perception de la qualite des produits locaux par les consommateurs. Cette recherche offre aux marketeurs et aux differents acteurs locaux, tels que les producteurs et les pouvoirs publics, des elements pour soutenir et accroitre les ventes des produits locaux.

Social responsibility has become a cornerstone of brand management, enabling brand differentiation in a high growth market. By distinguishing between symbolic and utilitarian associations of social responsibility, our study identifies two levers for consumer brand commitment. We posit that utilitarian associations enhance consumer brand commitment by strengthening consumer trust. We also argue that brands can encourage consumer commitment through their environmental and philanthropic engagements by conveying values with which consumers can identify to foster brand identification. This second commitment lever is argued to be particularly effective for consumers with strong social/environmental personal norms. We empirically test our research model on a sample of regular consumers of organic food brands, validating the two pathways from social responsibility to brand commitment. The moderating role of consumers' personal norms on the process was confirmed regarding the philanthropic dimension but not the environmental one. Contributions and implications for sustainable marketing are discussed.

A good communication and interaction between citizens and the administration is important and crucial, also can greatly help in improving the quality of urban life of citizen. In this paper, we propose a semantic data model for managing and resolving the problems that exist in cities such as water leak, street faults, broken street lights, and potholes. The main idea is to focus on the best practices of linked open data to describe all issues, and then integrate them in the dataset provided by DBpedia. Hence, our approach is based on the standards of the World Wide Web Consortium.

In distributed collaborative systems for semantic stores editing, multiple users can add, delete and change RDF statements starting from the same replicas and achieving to the same results at the end of the collaborative session. To improve the performance for such systems, the development of an efficient awareness mechanism is very important in order to help users to better understand the semantic stores evolution. Moreover, maintaining the consistency in replicated architecture is one of the most significant problems. However, none of the existing approaches describes how to define the awareness mechanism for distributed semantic stores performing concurrent changes. In this paper, we propose a new powerful optimistic replication solution called AB-Set, which can ensure not only a consistency criteria when editing data but also use semantic web technologies to define an awareness mechanism for making users aware of the different status of the store they share and update regardless of the concurrency level.

As the integration of disaster management, distributed computing, and collaborative technologies, collaborative disaster management systems can overcome the challenges, such as data replication and updating, real-time information dissemination, distributed resources sharing, and collaborative decision-making. Collaborative decision-making systems over Mind-Mapping are modeled by a set of sites connected by a communication network with each site hosting a replica of shared data. When a site executes a modification, it generates a corresponding operation that is performed immediately on its local copy, and then is propagated to all sites in order to be executed remotely. However, if the consistency is not properly guaranteed it can lead to divergences, practically, in the case of concurrent decisions over the shared Mind-Mapping. This paper aims to provide a solution to the problem of consistency in collaborative decision-making over Mind- Mapping. This solution allows distributed users to work together to reach a common goal without central servers and coordination among them is achieved in a Peer-to-Peer manner. A prototype developed about nuclear disaster scenario demonstrates the effectiveness of our approach.
