Actually, he was very active in the Wanli period for making friends, organizing associations, travelling, writing poetry and songs, editing books around the Jing, Ying, Nanjing, and Hangzhou areas, so he had influenced the gentlemenś atmosphere in Jiangnan in the late Ming. Liwa Zhuan with tactfully words and charming stories written by Bai Xingjian in Tang dynasty had been revised by storyteller's copy of stories in Song dynasty and Yuan comedy. There were several times to revise the story in Ming dynasty, the prince Zhu Chengzhai revised it as yuefu songs, a bookseller Ling Xingde published it in the collection of Yuchu Books, Xu Lin revised it as a long play tiffed Xiuru ji with 40 chapters to perform. It took 700 years from Liwa Zhuan to revise as Xiuru ji that it is limited and influenced by the time, the location and the style of play which has been studied in this paper to discover its culture characteristics and art tendency.
