Background and Purpose-ASPECTS (Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score), ASTRAL (Acute Stroke Registry and Analysis of LausanneL), DRAGON (including intensive middle cerebral artery sign, pre-stroke modified Rankin Scale score, age, glucose, onset to treatment, NIH Stroke Scale score), THRIVE-c (Total Health Risks in Vascular Events- calculation score) and START (NIHSS Stroke Scale score, Age, pre-stroke mRS score, onset-to-treatment Time) are predictive models that have been gradually developed in recent years to predict functional outcome after acute stroke in patients treated with intravenous thrombolysis, respectively. We aimed to externally validate these scores to assess their predictive performance in this advanced stroke center in China. Methods- We examined the clinical data of 835 patients with AIS who were admitted to the emergency department for intravenous thrombolysis at the Advanced Stroke Center, First Central Hospital, Baoding, China, between January 2016 and May 2022, and scored the patients using the ASPECTS, ASTRAL, DRAGON, THRIVE-c, and START scales. The 3-month modified Rankin Scale scores were observed for each score point, and patients with scores 3 to 6 were defined as having a poor prognosis and compared with the proportions predicted based on risk scores. The ROC curve was used to analyze the predictive value of each score for poor prognosis at 3 months. The total area under the ROC curve showed that it was the C value, and the C value was compared with the predictive value of the five scores; The Hosmer-Lemeshow (H-L) goodness-of-fit [χ2 (P)] test was applied to evaluate the fit of each model to the actual results; two indicators, the calibration curve and the Brier score, were used to evaluate the calibration of the models. Multivariate logistic regression coefficients for the variables in the five scores were also compared with the original derivation cohort. Results-Finally, 728 patients were included, and 318 (43.68%) had a poor prognosis. roc curve analysis, ASPECTS, ASTRAL, DRAGON, THRIVE-c, and START scores corresponded to C values of 0.851, 0.825, 0.854, 0.809, and 0819 in the overall patients, respectively, and in the pre-circulation 0.853, 0.813, 0.833, 0.804, 0.807, and 0.848, 0.862, 0.909, 0.811, 0.857 in the posterior cycle, respectively (all P > 0.05).Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness-of-fit tests for ASPECTS, ASTRAL, DRAGON, THRIVE-c, and START scores with P values of P P P P P P P P P P P

To investigate whether salidroside (Sal) plays a part in protecting myocardial cell through reducing the myocardial ischemia and the apoptosis pathway of both death receptors and mitochondria in acute exhausted rats.Male SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups (n=6): control group(Con), acute exhaustive swimming group (EE), low-dose and high-dose Sal pre-treatment exhaustive swimming group (SLE, SHE). Rats were treated with Sal solution (15 or 30 mg/(kg·d)) or 0.9%NaCl (3 ml/(kg·d)) by intraperitoneal injection for 15 d, respectively. The Con group did not carry out swimming training. The next day after the end of intraperitoneal administration, the rats in EE, SLE and SHE group were forced to swim until they were exhausted followed the standard of Thomas. After the end of exhaustive exercise, the rats were anesthetized and the blood samples and hearts were collected immediately. The myocardial ischemia and hypoxia area and myocardial apoptosis index (AI) were also observed. Serum ischemia modified albumin (IMA), cardiac troponin I (cTnI), brain natriuretic peptide(BNP) and myocardial cell Bcl-2-associated X protein (Bax), B-cell lymphoma-2 (Bcl-2) were determined. The expressions of myocardial TNF receptor superfamily member 6 (Fas), cytochrome C (Cyto-c), aspartate proteolytic enzyme-3(Caspase-3), aspartate proteolytic enzyme-8(Caspase-8), and aspartate proteolytic enzyme-9(Caspase-9) were detected.Compared with the Con group, the myocardial ischemia and hypoxia area in EE group was increased significantly. The serum levels of IMA, cTnI and BNP, AI and Bax levels and cardiac Fas, Cyto-C, Caspase-3, Caspase-8 and Caspase-9 protein expressions of EE group were also increased significantly (P＜0.01), while the protein expression of Bcl-2 in cardiac tissues was decreased significantly (P＜0.01). Compared with the EE group, the myocardial ischemia and hypoxia area, serum levels of IMA, cTnI and BNP, AI and Bax levels, and the protein expressions of cardiac Fas, Cyto-C, Caspase-3, Caspase-8 and Caspase-9 in Sal group were all decreased significantly(P＜0.01). while the protein expression of cardiac Bcl-2 in Sal group were increased significantly (P＜0.01).Sal plays a role in protecting myocardial cell through reducing the myocardial ischemia and inhibiting myocardial cell apoptosis in exhaustive exercise rats. The mechanism of reducing myocardial cell apoptosis may be related to inhibiting the expressions of Fas, Cyto-C, Caspase-3, Caspase-8, Caspase-9 and increasing the expression of Bcl-2.

The increasingly serious energy crisis and environmental pollution problems promote the large-scale application of microgrids (MGs) and electric vehicles (EVs). As the main carrier of MGs and EVs, distribution network is gradually presenting multi-source and active characteristics. A fast service restoration method of multi-source active distribution network with MGs and EVs is proposed in this paper for service restoration of distribution network, which takes effectiveness, rapidity, economy and reliability into consideration. Then, different optimal power flow (OPF) models for the service restoration strategy are constructed separately to minimize the network loss after service restoration. In addition, a genetic algorithm was introduced to solve the OPF model. The analysis of the service restoration strategy is carried out on an IEEE distribution system with three-feeder and eighteen nodes containing MGs and EVs, and the feasibility and effectiveness are verified

Objective To observe the dynamic changes of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2), tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-2 (TIMP-2), membrane-type 1 matrix metalloproteinase (MT1-MMP) and connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) expression in high glucose-stimulated glomerular mesangial cells (GMCs) in rats, and investigate the mechanism of the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy. Methods Rat HBZY-1 GMCs were cultured and divided into 3 groups: low concentration (5.5mmol/L) D-glucose (LG) group, high concentration (30mmol/L) D-glucose (HG) group and 24.5mmol/L mannitol plus 5.5mmol/L D-glucose (LG+M) group (served as osmotic pressure control). The mRNA and protein expressions of MMP-2, TIMP-2, MT1-MMP and CTGF were detected with semi-quantitative RT-PCR and Western blotting, and the secreted collagen Ⅳ in supernatants of the GMCs was detected by ELISA after cultured for 24, 48, 72 and 96h.
