Abstract Aim To determine the relationship between psychological resilience, nursing practice environment, and moral courage of clinical nurses and also the factors influencing moral courage. Design Cross‐sectional study. Methods 586 nurses from a general hospital were selected by convenience sampling method in January 2023. The general information questionnaire, Nurses' Moral Courage Scale (NMCS), Resilience Scale, and Practice Environment Scale (PES) were measured. Hierarchical linear regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of clinical nurses' moral courage. Results Nurses' average moral courage score was 79.00 (69.00, 91.00). The nurses' moral courage was positively correlated with psychological resilience and nursing practice environment. Multivariate linear regression analysis showed that psychological resilience and nursing practice environment entered the regression equation, accounting for 23.4% of the total variation. Psychological resilience and nursing practice environment are the main factors affecting the moral courage of clinical nurses. Nursing managers should conduct moral courage training, develop a decent nursing practice environment, pay attention to the psychological emotions of nurses, and actively build a safe, open, and supportive atmosphere for moral behaviour.

The existing lattice-based cut-and-choose oblivious transfer protocol is constructed based on the learning-with-errors (LWE) problem, which generally has the problem of inefficiency. An efficient cut-and-choose oblivious transfer protocol is proposed based on the difficult module-learning-with-errors (MLWE) problem. Compression and decompression techniques are introduced in the LWE-based dual-mode encryption system to improve it to an MLWE-based dual-mode encryption framework, which is applied to the protocol as an intermediate scheme. Subsequently, the security and efficiency of the protocol are analysed, and the security of the protocol can be reduced to the shortest independent vector problem (SIVP) on the lattice, which is resistant to quantum attacks. Since the whole protocol relies on the polynomial ring of elements to perform operations, the efficiency of polynomial modulo multiplication can be improved by using fast Fourier transform (FFT). Finally, this paper compares the protocol with an LWE-based protocol in terms of computational and communication complexities. The analysis results show that the protocol reduces the computation and communication overheads by at least a factor of n while maintaining the optimal number of communication rounds under malicious adversary attacks. Arbitrage spread prediction can provide valuable insights into the identification of arbitrage signals and assessing associated risks in algorithmic trading. However, achieving precise forecasts by increasing model complexity remains a challenging task. Moreover, uncertainty in the development and maintenance of model often results in extremely unstable returns. To address these challenges, we propose a K-fold cross-search algorithm-optimized LSTM (KCS-LSTM) network for arbitrage spread prediction. The KCS heuristic algorithm incorporates an iterative updating mechanism of the search space with intervals as the basic unit into the traditional ant colony optimization. It optimized the hyperparameters of the LSTM model with a modified fitness function to automatically adapt to various data sets, thereby simplified and enhanced the efficiency of model development. The KCS-LSTM network was validated using real spread data of rebar and hot-rolled coil from the past three years. The results demonstrate that the proposed model outperforms several common models on sMAPE by improving up to 12.6% to 72.4%. Remote sensing is considered to be a key technology for the development of smart cities. By analysing the data obtained by remote sensing, it is effective to manage and develop smart cities. However, with the rapid urbanisation and the increase in data capacity, how to store and retrieve remote sensing data which have more potential value and privacy with a more effective and safe method has become an imminent issue. In this paper, we propose an efficient verifiable and dynamic multi-keyword searchable encryption scheme for remote sensing data in smart cities. Moreover, we construct a double-chain index to support a multi-keyword search, where the Verification Index Chain is used to identify the users and the Keyword Index Chain is used to store the information of keywords. In addition, we adopt extended bitmap technology to realise update operations and verify the correctness and integrity of the search results. Experiments show that compared to the related existing schemes, the search time of the proposed scheme is reduced by 35% at most, the verification time is reduced by 14% at most and the update time is reduced by 57% at most. An important problem of network traffic is how to efficiently carry massive amounts of data traffic generated by Peer-to-Peer (P2P) services in high-speed and large-capacity optical access networks. P2P file-sharing traffic is regarded as one of the biggest bandwidth consumption in the world. Internet service providers can reduce the bandwidth burden in the feeder fiber by localizing the network traffic. In this paper, we propose an enhanced redirection strategy based on the optimized MPCP protocol (ERS-MPCP) to redirect the traffic into the access network and reduce the latency. A Markov chain is used for mathematical modeling. In the proposed strategy, we build a simulation platform for network simulation. Simulation results show that our strategy can improve the overall redirection success rate by up to 9%, thereby reducing the data traffic burden on the core network. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
