Honeysuckle, a traditional Chinese medicine, holds significant medicinal value, making it ubiquitous in the medical field. However, the efficient extraction of chlorogenic acid from Chinese herbal medicine while maintaining its pharmacological activity remains a pressing challenge. To address the issues of environmental pollution and inefficient extraction using traditional solvents, there is a need to develop a novel solvent. Due to their low cost, nontoxic, and environmentally friendly characteristics, deep eutectic solvents can be used for extracting traditional Chinese medicinal materials while preserving the activity of their active ingredients during the extraction process. In this study, we examined the antibacterial activity of chlorogenic acid, a key component of honeysuckle, after extraction using a deep eutectic solvent. We gained preliminary insights into the antibacterial activity of the extract against various bacteria, including Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Furthermore, we analyzed the antibacterial activity of extracts of different concentrations in liquid medium, and the morphology of the bacteria after inhibition was analyzed. These findings suggest that deep eutectic solvent (DES) is an efficient, environmentally friendly, and cost‐effective method for extracting the active components of honeysuckle. Two‐dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenide has attracted significant attention recently due to its unique electrical and optical properties. However, MoS2 nanosheets fabricated by traditional methods exhibit poor electrical performance due to the existence of the 1T metal phase. A solution‐processable pure 2H semiconductor phase MoS2 nanosheet for use as the functional layer of high‐performance memristors is presented. The resulting memristor based on a Ag/MoS2/Pt structure exhibits excellent resistive switching properties including high endurance and multilevel retention. Moreover, the power consumption and programming current of the SET operation can be as low as 7.35 nW and 100 nA, respectively. Interestingly, it is demonstrated that the resistance of the Ag/MoS2/Pt device can be bidirectionally modulated over a wide range (pulse number >500) with an approximately linear trend. Furthermore, the accuracy of pattern recognition with handwritten data can reach 90.37%. To address the problem of high viscosity of deep eutectic solvents (DESs), the viscosities of a series of choline chloride-based DESs and DESs-H2O were determined, and their extraction efficiencies were obtained for the extraction of polyphenols in palm samples. Tailoring the DESs by the addition of water successfully adjusted their viscosity from thousand to single-digit mPa s and aided the extraction of polyphenols from samples, by changing the hydrogen-bonding interactions of DESs. Among the compounds investigated, choline chloride–oxalic acid–water of DESs-H2O with various molar ratios with 1:0.1–1:50 showed the greatest change in viscosity with 3617–2 mPa s, and effectively extracted most of the target compounds of polyphenols (52.1 μg mL−1 for protocatechuic acid, 7.3 μg mL−1 for catechins, 34.0 μg mL−1 for epicatechin and 6.2 μg mL−1 for caffeic acid) from samples. The results confirm that tailoring with water can successfully adjust the viscosity and extraction efficiency of DESs, for effective extraction of bioactive compounds from samples.
