Women have found it difficult to attain senior management level positions in the tabletop industry. Of 165 tabletop companies surveyed, only 16 women currently hold the title of president, and 11 of those women have ties to ownership. Tabletop marketing and sales departments have even fewer female executives. Companies claim they hire executives based on credibility and skill.
