Monografija sažima izuzetno bogatu djelatnost Fakulteta građevinarstva, arhitekture i geodezije Sveučilišta u Splitu, od samog početka visokoškolskog obrazovanja u području građevinarstva u Splitu 1971. godine, prati otvaranje studija arhitekture i urbanizma te studija geodezije i geoinformatike, nastavnu djelatnost, znanstveno-istraživački rad i projektne aktivnosti, zaključno s 2021. godinom. The monograph summarizes the extremely rich activities of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy of the University of Split, from the very beginning of higher education in the field of civil engineering in Split in 1971, it follows the opening of studies in architecture and urban planning, as well as studies in geodesy and geoinformatics, teaching activities, scientific research work and projects activities, ending with 2021.

Terestričko lasersko skeniranje relativno je nova metoda koja nam pruža mogućnost globalne pokrivenosti objekta od interesa mjerenjima naspram klasičnih geodetskih metoda, poput snimanja mjernom stanicom s kojima se određuju diskretne točke na objektu. Takva vrsta snimanja ima sve veću primjenu u industriji nafte, gdje se javlja potreba za određivanjem stvarnog stanja nadzemnih spremnika sukladno specifikacijama u normi API 653. U radu su uspoređeni podaci mjerenja imperfekcija nadzemnog spremnika nafte terestričkim laserskim skenerom s testnim slučajevima koji predstavljaju mjerenja klasičnim geodetskim metodama. Usporedbom podataka između kontrolnog slučaja, koji sadrži veliku gustoću podataka mjerenja, i testnih slučajeva, dobivene su razlike statističkih podataka do iznosa od 44 mm, što je znakovito odstupanje od stvarnog stanja. Usporedba podataka mjerenja pokazala su da se korištenjem klasičnih geodetskih metoda mjerenja, usprkos tome što one zadovoljavaju uvjete propisane normom API 653, ne mogu detaljno prikazati sve imperfekcije spremnika i može doći do smanjenja iznosa pojedinih imperfekcija., Terrestrial laser scanning is a relatively new method that enables us to obtain a global coverage of objects with measurements opposite to classic surveying methods that measure only discrete points on the object. There is an increase of application of terrestrial laser scanning in the oil industry, where there is a need to determine the state of aboveground storage tanks in accordance with the standard API 653. In this paper comparisons were made between imperfection measurement data with the terrestrial laser scanner and test cases, which represent discrete measurements obtained by using classic surveying methods. Comparison between the control case, which contains a high density of measurements, and test cases shows a discrepancy between the statistics up to 44 mm, which is a significant difference. Data comparison shows that using classic surveying method, even when they are in accordance with standard API – 653, can result in lacking data that doesn’t show the full extent of the imperfections.

Zajednički temelji su redoviti skup mladih istraživača (doktoranada i poslijedoktoranada) iz područja građevinarstva i srodnih tehničkih znanosti. Skup je zamišljen na način da bude platforma za jedna od prvih izlaganja mladih istraživača, što im omogućava svojevrsne treninge za daljnja prezentiranja i istraživački rad, te adekvatno umrežavanje. Sudionici prezentiraju svoja istraživanja ili koncept istraživanja pred kolegama iz različitih STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) područja, a njihovi sažeci ili radovi su objavljeni u zborniku. Svaki skup svakako sadrži najmanje jedno pozvano predavanje i radionicu ili okrugli stol na jednu od aktualnih tema vezanih za znanstveno-istraživačku domenu i položaj mladih u istoj. Common Foundations are a regular group of young researchers (doctoral students and postdoctoral students) from the field of civil engineering and related technical sciences. The meeting was conceived in such a way as to be a platform for one of the first presentations of young researchers, which provides them with a kind of training for further presentations and research work, as well as adequate networking. Participants present their research or research concept in front of colleagues from different STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields, and their summaries or papers are published in the proceedings. Each meeting certainly contains at least one invited lecture and workshop or round table on one of the current topics related to the scientific and research domain and the position of young people in it.
