Purpose. Numerous facts of the harmful impact of military actions caused by the military aggression of the Russian Federation on the environment of Ukraine were recorded and documented by many Ukrainian and foreign scientists and other specialists. The purpose of this work was to form a reference list of publications on the impact of war on water resources and hydrobionts, as well as the aquaculture industry of Ukraine in general and fisheries in particular. Methods. The complete and selective methods were applied in the process of the systematic search. The bibliographic and webliographic core have been consisted of publications in Ukrainian and English, including monographs, materials of round tables, conferences and meetings, public reports, articles in collections of scientific collections and journals, as well as reviews, chronicles, news on the subject of the work, posted on publicly available websites. Results. A thematic list of publications with a total quantity of 97 sources covering the time interval from 2015 to 2024, and showing the issues of the impact of military operations on natural hydroecosystems, as well as the aquaculture industry of Ukraine has been composed. In addition, the range of issues covered includes methods for calculating the damage caused by war and possible ways to overcome its harmful consequences. Purpose. Forming a thematic bibliographic list of English-language and Ukrainian-language publications, which highlight the issues of artificial breeding and cultivation of European grayling in Ukraine and abroad, the results of research into its population, ecological, genetic, physiological, biochemical, immunological and other characteristics. Purpose. Forming a thematic bibliographic list of English-language and Ukrainian-language publications on the development of organic aquaculture in Ukraine and abroad. Methods. The complete and selective methods were applied in the process of the systematic search. Purpose. Forming a bibliographic list of rare publications and old books on the pisciculture, fishing, hydrobiology, hydrobotany, etc., which saw the light of day before 1930 and are the property of the fund of the Institute of Fisheries NAAS of Ukraine scientific library. Methods. The selective method, including with the involvement of electronic databases based on the established integrated library and information system was applied in the process of the systematic search. The bibliographic core have been formed with the scientific publications on paper and electronic media, available in the fund of scientific library of the Institute of Fisheries NAAS of Ukraine. Results. There was composed the bibliographic list of publications on fisheries and related fields of science with a total quantity of 122 sources covering the time interval from 1671 to 1930. Purpose. Forming a thematic bibliographic list of English-language publications on molecular-genetic, immunological, physiological-biochemical, as well as ecological and individual biological features of black carp (Mylopharyngodon piceus L.). Methods. The complete and selective methods were applied in the process of the systematic search. The bibliographic core have been consisted of English-language scientific publications from resources available to users of the Institute of Fisheries NAAS Scientific Library. Results. There was composed the thematic list of publications with a total quantity of 89 sources covering the time interval from 1995 to 2023, and highlighting the biological and ecological characteristics of a representative of the Cyprinids, the black carp, as well as considering the issue of its physiological, biochemical, genetic, and immunological features. The processes of decentralization have shaped the overall vector of rural development through the establishment of the foundations of the inclusive approach, the practice of public administration and administration, as well as the enhancement of the community's internal capacity, self-development and self-sustainability. The aim of the article is to substantiate the prospects entrepreneurship and public administration development in rural areas in the context of decentralization. Objects of the study are: 1) consideration of the state, problems and trends of rural areas; 2) justification of mechanisms to enhance the processes of self-development and independence of territorial communities through the mechanism of social entrepreneurship and public administration. The research methodology is based on structural and logical design, system studies and synergetic analysis. Changing technological approaches in the system of public administration as a result of the latter's inability to prevent stagnation and focus on socio-environmental priorities of the country's development in the conditions of globalization intensified political processes in the regions through the activities of political parties and public organizations as bodies of public administration of territories. Participation of the process of development of the strategy of development of territorial communities gives an opportunity not only to increase the level of efficiency of management decisions, to expand the range of their influence (in particular, in the areas of ecologization of life, to develop start-ups, including among young people, spreading the practice of organic production, permaculture design, non-waste life, raising efficiency of the energy sector), but also contributes to the growing interest of members of society in implementing programs of development and enhancement of the social consciousness which in turn ensures the stability of the position areas as industrial and social activities. Purpose. Purpose. The consequence of human impact of the ecosystems of water bodies are as a rule the input of xenobiotics of various natures or the excess of the natural level of biogenic trace elements that ultimately leads to negative changes in the structure of aquatic biota communities, disturbances of vital activity processes of some flora and fauna species. The consequences of these processes are presented as a reduction in the productivity of water bodies, impoverishment of their species variety, and subsequently as an unsuitability of water bodies for fisheries related activities. Study, analysis and generalization of information concerning the pathways of toxicants input into water bodies, their behavior in hydroecosystems, possible effects on aquatic organisms of different trophic levels have an important theoretical and practical value. Behavioral, physiological, biochemical, cytological, histological and genetic reactions can serve as a basis for the adoption of necessary measures aimed at improving the ecological state of water bodies or preventing and avoiding potential hazards to aquatic populations. The aim of this work is an analysis and synthesis of the available literature data about the role of a relatively poorly studied trace element molybdenum in hydroecosystems, its biological importance and toxic effect for aquatic organisms. Findings. The data containing in the article were obtained based on reviewing existing publications of domestic and foreign authors. In particular, they describe hydrochemical properties of molybdenum and its compounds, possible sources of input into water bodies, pathways of element migration. A brief description of the identification and control methods for the element content in aquatic environment is presented. Biophilic properties of molybdenum for aquatic flora and fauna as well as the impact on their productive parameters are described. The data regarding the bioaccumulation potential of molybdenum, as well as its distribution in tissues and organs of aquatic organisms are given. The adaptive reactions of aquatic plants, invertebrates and fish in the conditions of elevated molybdenum concentrations in water, the possible adverse effects of such impacts on biota at different levels, in particular on cellular, tissue, whole organism ones are described. The perspectives and theoretic measures of further studies on molybdenum presence and its effect in ecotoxicological aspect are highlighted. Originality. The article contains a summary of research results carried out since the middle of the last century to the present time, on the role and functions of molybdenum in aquatic ecosystems and organisms of certain species of aquatic biota, information on its eco-toxicity in terms of its excessive input into water bodies.. Practical value. The data presented in the article can be the basis for the adoption of measures for the prevention and avoidance of potential hazards to aquatic populations associated with the input of significant amounts of molybdenum into water bodies in the composition of agricultural runoff and industrial effluents.

Purpose. Composing a thematic bibliographic list of publications dedicated to biological characteristics of burbot of different ecological and zoographical zones, as well as to the aspects of its cultivation and fishing in Ukraine and abroad. Methods. In the process of systematic search when preparing this publication, we applied both complete and selective methods. The bibliographic core was formed of literature sources on the abovementioned topic from the fund of the scientific library of the Institute of Fisheries NAAS. Findings. A list of 65 sources containing characteristics of burbot as a representative of Lotidae family have been formed from the fund of the scientific library of the Institute of Fisheries NAAS for the period from 1927 to 2016. Purpose. Due to the pollution of fisheries water bodies by industrial and agricultural waste waters, as well as by xenobiotics coming from other sources, taking into account a pridictable increase in the amounts of such effluents in the short and long terms, the problems related to the study of the effects of the pollutants of different nature and origin on aquatic organisms, especially fish, as well as a prediction of possible adverse consequences on aquatic ecosystems, becomes particularly important. The aim of our work was an analysis and synthesis of existing literature data concerning the indication in the biomonitoring of aquatic environments based on biological markers of salmonids as highly sensitive objects of fish fauna to external factors. Findings. The review summarizes and systematizes the data concerning the use of salmonids in biomonitoring studies. Furthermore, we highlighted and characterized the specificity of bioindication parameters of the aquatic environment state, such as the biochemical, genetic, physiological, morphological, histopathological, behavioral and population markers and noted the effects of hydroecosystem ecotoxication on different levels of biological organization (cell, individual, population, fish community). We also described the possibility of biological monitoring based on saprobic indexes identified for indicator species belonging to salmonids. Originality. In the article describes the structure, pros and cons of the use of specific biomarkers of individual salmonid fish and their populations for assessing the ecological status of aquatic environments. Practical value. The data given in the article can be used to improve the system of the ecological monitoring of aquatic environments by extending the range of indicator indices with organism and population biomarkers of highly sensitive salmonid species.

Purpose. To make a list of publications on the application of preparations of different compositions, effect and methods of use in aquaculture for the purposes of an increase of body resistance, prevention and treatment of infectious and parasitic diseases of aquatic organisms, especially fish. Methods. Bibliographical search was realized on the basis of the availability of relevant literature, which constitute of the Institute’s of Fisheries NAAS scientific library stock, using both complete and selective methods. Findings. There was prepared the thematic list of publications on the use of substances of therapeutic and preventive actions in aquaculture. This bibliography embraced the time period from 1959 to 2012. The list includes 126 references from the Institute’s of Fisheries NAAS scientific library stock, arranged alphabetically by author or title, described according to DSTU GOST 7.1:2006 «System of standards on information, librarianship and publishing. Bibliographic entry. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules». Practical value. The list can be useful for scientists, specialists, students, which area of interest covers the development and use of medicines and prophylactics for fisheries.

Purpose. Creating of the thematic bibliographic list of publications dedicated to ecological and zoogeographical, morphological and biological, physiological, biochemical and genetic characteristics of the Danube salmon, as well as to its cultivation in Ukraine and abroad. Methodology. In the process of systematic search complete and selective methods were applied. The bibliographic core have been formed by the literature from the fund of scientific library of the Institute of Fisheries NAAS. Findings. There was composed the thematic list of publications in a quantity of 100 sources, containing characteristics of Danube salmon as representative of salmonids. Literary sources was arranged in alphabetical order by author or title, and described according to DSTU 7.1:2006 «System of standards on information, librarianship and publishing. Bibliographic entry. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules», as well as in accordance with the requirements of APA style – international standard of references. Practical value. The list may be useful for scientists, practitioners, students, whose area of interests covers the questions of breeding, and researching of the salmon biological features.
