Our concern has been the development of a Prosthetic-Surgical Guide for implant insertion, aiming to provide superior precision to the clinical stages of implant insertion and prosthesis. This guide supports a more accurate, safe, and tissue-friendly therapeutic plan for the DMA. Apart from the clinical stage of implant insertion into the bone, our designed Prosthetic-Surgical Guide for implant insertion has been clinically used for the precise execution of mucosal stripping (in mucoperiosteal stripping during the implant insertion stage and mucosal stripping for uncovering implants in the prosthesis stage). The outcome was the new Prosthetic-Surgical Guide for implant insertion, a guidance device designed and produced using 3D technology, which made implant-prosthetic rehabilitation safer, being more precise, minimally invasive, intuitive for both doctor and patient, with a significantly reduced risk of infection due to shorter operative times.

In this article, we aim to carefully analyze the forces applied to implants in DMA biomechanics in various forms of prosthodontic edentulism and in different variants of implant-supported prosthesis. We will also examine the most suitable prosthesis variants that would keep the occlusal forces applied on implants within functional physiological limits to avoid overloading at the root-implant support level, overloads that could lead to bone resorption and implant mobility. We will define the elements that must be considered to minimize the risk of failure in implant-prosthetic therapy and based on all these benchmarks, a correct implant-prosthetic therapeutic plan will be developed.

In this paper we study the existence and uniqueness of the solution in $ C((0, T], L^\infty(\Omega)) $ of a new nonlocal and nonlinear second-order anisotropic reaction-diffusion problem with in-homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions, generalizing other problems in the literature. Then, by using the finite difference method, we propose an explicit in time numerical scheme to approximate the unique solution of our problem. The present study represents an attempt of the authors to demonstrate a certain lack of interest of a large majority practitioners dentists who work mainly in the private space, designing scientific articles and professional journals, and to develop and support of lectures, oral communications and posters in dental congresses or conferences. To accomplish this preliminary study, we used the questionnaire method of investigation, we set a clear research objective, and the questions were formulated in such a way as to include the most representative aspects of the phenomenon investigated. In a turbulent economic environment, characterized by a downward trend of financial resources and jobs offer, professional environment requirements are increasing, and thus, the academic environment's role is becoming major. These were the coordinates that have directed our empirical research on analyzing the perspective of future graduates regarding the correlation between the academic and professional environment in the field of managerial accounting. The research approach considers on one hand, a synthesis of ideas published on this subject in the literature. This is complemented by an empirical study based on a questionnaire to which we have received responses from future graduates of the academic environment in the accounting field. The study results showed that all respondents believe that accounting education is correlated with the professional environment, the academic environment offering them the necessary training in managerial accounting for a successful integration into the professional environment. The majority of respondents also believes that for the integration in the professional environment, future graduates must hold simultaneously theoretical and practical knowledge, but also organizational skills. The results reveals that, by their relevance, the factors that motivate future graduates to prepare in managerial accounting are: the interest to acquire knowledge, labor market integration, discipline content, professor's teaching methods, the promotion of the exam. Also, all respondents would accept to participate in volunteer programs organized by the professional environment in order to gain experience in managerial accounting. Regarding the adaptation of the managerial accounting approach in the academic environment, most respondents support a moderate adjustment by implementing internship and volunteering programs. Introduction. Peri-implantitis is a condition of the tissues adjacent to dental implants, which can occur in patients with implant-prosthetic restorations, following inadequate prophylactic measures. However, these peri-implants, untreated or improperly treated, can lead over time to quite severe complications, which can quickly turn into emergencies of low, medium or increased intensity in the usual dental care. Purpose. Peri-implantitis is not a major dental emergency, but ignoring and/or treating it incorrectly can lead to complications that are considered major in dentistry. That is why we tried through this study to verify the knowledge related to peri-implantitis as well as the complications that may arise from the nontreatment of these diseases, among the practitioners involved in this field. Material and method. The study was conducted with the help of 37 specialists involved in implantprosthetic treatments, aged between 37 and 53 years, using a 7-point questionnaire. Results and discussions. The results show the concern of specialists in the field of oral implantology regarding peri-implantitis, as well as the complications arising from them. Conclusions. Knowing the causes but also the complications arising from peri-implantitis are very important for the creating preventive programs, which with a reduced effort bring the long-term success of implant supported restorations. Edward Hartley Angle was an eminent American scientist, dentist, great inventor, being rightly considered to be the father of modern orthodontics. Introduction: Tooth loss causes important changes in the alveolar crest by means of resorption, atrophy and bone formation. This study aims to analyse the remodeling pattern of the alveolar crest following tooth extraction by means of CBCT. Materials and methods: Fifty CBCT full arch scans were analysed, 25 for the mandible and 25 for the maxilla. They belonged to 40 partially edentulous patients, 22 women and 18 men. The edentulous alveolar ridge was compared to the dentate site on the opposite side of the arch in curved slice mode. Horizontal and vertical measurements were recorded. Results and discussions: In the maxilla, the mean reduction of the bony crest was 2 mm horizontally and 3.2 mm vertically. In the mandible, the mean values were 2.9 mm in width and 3.4 mm in height. Women displayed higher values of bone loss as compared to men. A limited number of missing teeth leads to small dimensional changes, whereas 4 or more missing consecutive teeth may cause a massive collapse of the alveolar crest. Free-end edentulous sites lose more bone than interleaved ones. The prosthetic status plays an important role in ridge remodeling, with removable restorations causing the greatest collapse of the alveolar crest and the implants the least bone loss. Conclusions: Following tooth extraction, ridge remodeling affects the buccal plate and the vertical dimension of the alveolar crest.
