An important basis for the creation of medical clothing is realization of the influence of various factors that arise in the interaction of elements of the system "man–clothes–production environment". Given the increasing technogenic burden on health of both medical staff and hospital patients, the assessment of the role of medical clothing in forming the energy balance of direct consumers is extremely relevant. Previous studies have experimentally confirmed the presence of energy effects of textile materials on the human body. However, determination of the nature of the impact is a complex task, which solution depends on a number of factors, such as the raw material composition, its structure, surface characteristics, etc. The purpose of our paper is to study the development of textile multifunctional materials for medical purposes and to study their energy-information impact on the human body. The following tasks have been solved in the course of the study. For use in the medical field, several samples of textile materials with antimicrobial properties, modified by herbal preparations, were obtained. Properties of textile materials that determine the possibility of their use in medical practice have been investigated. The influence of the experimental samples on the functional state of the organs and systems of human organs by use of the methods of information-wave therapy is evaluated.

The aim of the article is to analyze the seams connecting the covering textiles in paraglider wing and estimate their physical strength. The most extreme flight parameters (the angle of attack and velocity) in the numerical model of the wing allow the determination of the mean pressure inside the contour and the maximal difference between the pressures on the inner and the outer material surfaces. The preprocessing stage and numerical calculations in Ansys environment consider three different covering materials. The tool Porous Media is used to create the objects of a given value of air permeability. The estimated parameter of seam is the maximal pressure difference between both sides of the covering material, which that interacts with the test results. The quality index of the seam is defined by the maximal force to seam rupture and relative elongation during rupture. The obtained results indicate that the seams are resistant to the pressure difference caused by the most extreme flight parameters.

The main goal of this article is to analyze the seam quality by influence of lamination process parameters on the strength properties of laminated seams in cotton clothing products. The seam quality index is defined by maximal force to seam rupture and relative elongation during rupture. These parameters are obtained during the delamination test and shear test. The obtained statistical equations allow to describe, predict, and optimize the seam quality versus the product requirements and seam location within the product. The main goal of the article is to investigate the replacibility of sewn stitches by laminated seams in cotton clothing products. The research objects are seams prepared experimentally in industrial conditions, laminated with thermal transfer film in the form of tape. There are determined (i) the lamination parameters on thermal press influencing the quality index of created seams, (ii) the effect of laminated seams on the aesthetic properties of the product. The permissible values of the quality index are compared for laminated and sewn seams. Hence, we conclude that the selected sewn seams can be replaced by laminated structures. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To improve the aesthetics of clothing (jackets), special insert materials are used during production. During usage, clothing comes into contact with various factors (physical, chemical, mechanical and biological ones) which cause deformation and wear. In order to better examine the effect of maintenance treatment on the quality of laminates created by gluing materials, this work was limited to the determination of the influence of the 5th procedure (Mpr - 5), consisting of dry cleaning + ironing, on the value of flexural stiffness index G depending on m - quantity (mass) of deposited adhesive (glue), Dl - the direction in which the deposited layers are placed, and Dc - the direction in which samples were cut out. The examinations carried out indicated that the above mentioned maintenance treatment entails reduction of flexural rigidity. It may be caused by the partial washing out of the surface fabric finish.
