This research aims to develop student worksheets based on Learning by Doing in learning Economics subjects for class X students at Senior High School 5 Jambi City. The development method used is Research and Development (R&D) by following the development model that has been agreed upon in the research process. The development stages include needs analysis, planning, product development, limited trials, revisions, field trials and evaluation. The research results showed that the Learning by Doing-based worksheets that were developed received positive responses from teachers and students. These worksheets can increase students' interest in learning and help them understand economic concepts better. Apart from that, these worksheets can also facilitate interactive, collaborative and applied learning in the classroom. Evaluation of the student worksheets shows that this product is suitable for use in learning Economics subjects at Senior High School 5 Jambi City. In conclusion, the development of Learning by Doing-based worksheets for Economics subjects can be an effective alternative in improving the quality of learning for class X students at Senior High School 5 Jambi City. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a positive contribution to the development of education in Indonesia, especially in the context of learning Economics subjects.

Fish disease is an obstacle in the cultivation of Dumbo catfish (Clarias sp.) which can result in fish death. The need for information on how to prevent and treat fish diseases is very necessary. This study aims to determine the effect of aeration duration on water quality, ectoparasite intensity, prevalence, dominance, survival and condition factors, then correlate water quality with ectoparasite intensity. This study used a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatments and four replications. Treatment includes aeration 0 hours/day, 6 hours/day, 12 hours/day, 18 hours/day and 24 hours/day. Data analysis using ANOVA of a certain level of significance. If there is a noticeable difference from each treatment, proceed to the DUNCAN test. Test the correlation of water quality with ectoparasite intensity. The result of this study is that long aeration can increase oxygen solubility, acidity but reduce ammonia and nitrite. The correlation value of oxygen solubility in ectoparasite intensity is 0.828, acidity (pH) is 0.849, ammonia is -0.888, nitrite is -0.592. The prevalence value of P0 and P1 is 0%, P2 is 89%, P3 and P4 is 100%. The intensity of ectoparasites in Dumbo catfish (Clarias sp.), at P0 is 2, P1 is 13, P2 is 75, while at P3 and P4 is 100. The dominance of ectoparasites that infect is Trichodina sp. by 71.7-100% and Dactylogyrus sp. by 0-28.4%. The survival rate of fish at P0 was highest with a value of 89%, P1 at 84%, P2 at 71%, P3 and P4 rates at 0%. The value of the condition factor then P0 and P1 have a value of 1, P2, P3 and P4 have a condition factor value of 1. It is concluded that the longer aeration is given, the solubility of oxygen increases which results in an increase in the intensity and prevalence of ectoparasite infections, the pH of the water becomes neutral and decreases the content of ammonia and nitrite. There is a moderate to very strong correlation between water quality and ectoparasite intensity. There is an increase in the prevalence of infection, ectoparasite intensity and fish mortality so that it can reduce the survival and condition factors of Dumbo catfish (Clarias sp.). Problem-solving skills have many benefits, especially for lifelong learning. Learners are equipped with these abilities to be able to survive in life and in their profession. Problem-solving skill is closely related to cognitive ability and critical thinking skill. This research aims at determining the contribution of students’ cognitive ability and critical thinking skill on their problem-solving skill. This correlational research included 127 students taking education profession courses. The collected data were analyzed using correlation regression SPSS Version 23 software. The results of the data analysis showed that students’ cognitive abilitys and critical thinking skills had a significant correlation with their problem-solving skills. The relative contribution of the cognitive ability and the critical thinking skill was 94.8%. While the effective contribution of cognitive ability and critical thinking skills toward the students’ problem-solving skills was 68.4% and 26.4% respectively. The positive correlation among these variables can be used as a basis for implementing the case method in classroom learning activities in that the implementation of the case method has positive effects on the student’s cognitive abilitys, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills in Biology Education students.

The utilization of papaya plants (Carica papaya L) heretofore is focusing on their aril/mesocarp, leaves, and flowers, while the seeds are still neglected. Thus, this recent study attempts to make use of papaya seeds as a green-synthesis bioreductor of silver nanoparticles. It aims at finding out the characteristics of silver nanoparticles of ethanol extract of papaya seeds (AgNPs-EEPS), investigating the optimization as well as the characteristics of the AgNPs-EEPS anti-acne cream formula, and examining the antibacterial activity of Propionibacterium acnes on the AgNPs-EEPS anti-acne cream. The software design expert with factorial design method was applied to optimize the AgNPs-EEPS biosynthesis and cream formula. The analysis of the formation of AgNPs-EEPS characteristics, employing various levels of temperature and extract concentration, and applying UV- VIS spectrophotometry, resulted in a wavelength of 415 nm. Meanwhile, the implementation of particle size distribution testing, using PSD on the optimum concentration by 6% with temperature 65°C, generated a wavelength of 54 nm, pI 0.820, and zeta potential -7,7 mV. The optimization of the AgNPs-EEPS cream formula obtained optimum results at a stearic acid level 7 and cetyl alcohol 6. The characteristics of the cream produced a cream that was physically stable and met the requirements of good topical preparation. The anti-acne cream from silver nanoparticles ethanol extract of papaya seeds has the antibacterial activity of Propionibacterium acnes which belongs to the moderate category.

This study analyzed MeHg in a fast, simple, low-waste, and accurate by using ultra-high liquid chromatography coupled with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Simple preparation by liquid extraction with sonication at room temperature was effective extract MeHg from Certified Reference Material (CRM) and shark meat samples. Effective MeHg separation was achieved in less than 300 s using a C18 Hypersil Gold analytical column with a mobile gradient phase of 0.5% (w/v) L-cysteine in 2% (v/v) HNO3 and 100% methanol. The MeHg was extracted from 100 mg of shark meat using 1 mL of 0.5% (w/v) L-cysteine in 2% (v/v) HNO3 and sonicated for 30 min. Analysis of certified reference material (DORM-4) showed values between the experimental and certified values. The observed limit of detection and quantification MeHg were 0.86 and 2.85 pg/L, respectively. This method was applied to measure MeHg in shark meat from Binuangeun areas. The MeHg concentration in Rhizoprionodon acutus was 0.22–0.63 mg/kg wet weight (w.w.), Squalus hemipinis 0.68–1.14 mg/kg w.w., and 0.29–1.22 mg/kg w.w. for Sphyrna lewini. This study provides a quick and easy method to evaluate MeHg in shark meat or other seafood products and applies to many samples in a single assay.

This research aims to study the quantitative structure and activity relationship (QSAR) of gamma-carboline derivative compounds as anti-BVDV agents to get an equation that can predict the value of the anti-BVDV activity of gamma-carboline derived compounds. The research material is experimental EC50 data that convert to anti-BVDB activity. 14 gamma-carboline derivative compounds are divided into 2 groups, namely, 11 fitting compounds and 3 test compounds. QSAR analysis is based on multilinear regression calculations of the fitting compound by plotting the EC50 log as the dependent variable and the descriptor as the independent variable. The used descriptors are atomic net charge (q) and dipole moment (µ), which are involved in calculations using the AM1 semiempirical quantum mechanics method. In addition, the partition coefficient of n-octanol/water (Log P), molecular polarizability (α), molecular weight (BM), Van Der Waals surface area (A vdw), Van Der Waals volume (V vdw), and index of refraction (RD) are obtained from QSAR properties. The resulting QSAR equation is: Log pEC50 = -48.670 – 124.801 (qC11) – 12.661 (α) – 0.918 (µ) – 0.876 (RD) – 0.999 (Log P) + 1.863 (BM) + 0.043 (V vdw) with n = 14; r = 0.937; r2 = 0.878; SD = 0.244; Fcount/Ftable = 1.466; PRESS = 0.749; Sig. = 0.02 This equation can be used as an initial guide for designing the structure of new compounds of the gamma-carboline class by considering some of the most influential descriptors. Consequentially, new compounds can be designed that have a smaller predicted EC50 value than the known compounds derived from gamma-carboline.

The characteristics of students who go to school in a coffee plantation environment tend to be less active in learning, resulting in student saturation and low cognitive learning outcomes of students. This study aims to analyze the effect of collaborative learning models combined with video media on critical thinking skills and biology learning outcomes of class X SMAN Jenggawah with a quasi-experimental research type using a pre-test post-test control group design. The learning design by forming the class into small groups observing videos of arthropods found in the coffee plantation environment. Data collection was obtained from the implementation of observations, tests, and questionnaires. Data analysis was tested using the ANACOVA test for critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of students, and independent sample t-test for learning outcomes in the affective and psychomotor domains of students. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 0.05 in the affective domain of learning outcomes, and a significance value of 0.213 > 0.05 in the psychomotor domain of learning outcomes, so that the collaborative learning learning model has no significant effect on critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes of class X students high school in a coffee plantation area.

School violence, including bullying, is one of the severe problems faced by educational institutions in Indonesia. Bullied students are more likely to suffer anxiety, unhappiness, and uncomfortable feelings. As a result, they are unable to perform well in their school activities which affect their learning outcome. This study aims to find suitable types and models of psychological intervention to solve the school violence problem. Specifically, this psychological intervention is expected to help create a child-friendly school in Indonesia at the senior high school level. this study applies the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by operating the academic search engine, namely “Google Scholar” and “Research Gate.” The result shows there are 22 articles on psychological intervention. Regarding types, two types of psychological intervention can be applied to creating a child-friendly school at the senior high school level in Indonesia: social intervention and group counseling intervention using the Tazkitatun-nafsi self-management technique. Besides there are four models of intervention approaches, namely psychoeducational model intervention; b) intervention with a behavioral model; c) intervention with a neuropsychological model; and d) intervention with the cognitive model.

The low ability to think critically can affect the student's learning process. In overcoming the problem of critical thinking, teachers must first observe students' self-regulation. This quasi-experimental study aims to determine the effect of the CORE and PBL models on students' critical thinking skills based on self-regulation and interactions. The population is all 8th grade students of SMP N 1 Tungkal Ulu. Random sampling technique was used to choose class VIII B as experimental class 1 with 34 students, VIII D as experiment class 2 with 32 students, and VIII E as control class with 33 students. Data were collected using test questions. Statistical test using two-way ANOVA with SPSS software version 21 with a confidence level of 0.05. The results of the study based on hypothesis testing in the three classes obtained that Fcount was 18.693 while the value of Ftable was 4.00, meaning that Fcount was greater than Ftable. These results indicate that H1 is accepted (there are differences in critical thinking). It was concluded that CORE and PBL learning had an effect on improving students' critical thinking skills compared to traditional learning. However, there is no interaction between learning treatment and critical thinking skills.

The need for immersion oil becomes very important in carrying out various laboratory analyses with a microscope to clarify the image of objects with sharp imaging. To answer this need, research has been carried out to find an alternative to immersion oil by utilizing one of the typical Alor plants that grow a lot in dry areas, namely Kesambi. In this study, the results of the immersion oil test from Kesambi which was made in 2016 were compared with the results of the retest of the same oil in 2021 and compared with standard immersion oil to determine the quality of the immersion oil. In the existing stock of Kesambi immersion oil, physical properties analysis, GC-MS, and imaging of onion cells were carried out. The results showed that the comparison of the physical properties of Kesambi immersion oil which was analyzed in 2016 and the results of the re-analysis in 2021 showed that there was no significant difference based on the parameters of density, viscosity, refractive index, acid number, and aperture value. Results GC-MS in standard immersion oil only contained 49.68% benzyl benzoic acid and reanalyzed Kesambi immersion oil found palmitic acid 12.26%, oleic acid 46.46%, stearic acid 5.26% arachidic acid 13, 84%, and other spectra were detected as impurities. Although there were impurities and differences in fatty acid content between the standard immersion oil and the immersion oil from Kesambi that had been stored for five years, there was no difference in the imaging results of onion cells.

Metals accumulation in threatened sharks’ meat represents a global health issue. The objective of the current study was to measure the concentration of six metals (Li, Ti, Ni, Cd, As, and Pb) using ICP-MS in threatened sharks’ meat of Rhizoprionodon acutus, Squalus hemipinnis, and Sphyrna lewini from Binuangeun Fish Auction in Lebak, Banten, Indonesia. The results showed that the concentration of Ni, Li, Cd, and Pb was below the acceptable levels for food sources for human consumption, except for As concentration (more than 30 fold higher). This study showed high levels of Ti concentration in all threatened sharks' meat. Overall, this study shows that an accumulation of Ti in sharks' meat should be considered a risk to the health of seafood consumers.

This study aimed to explore the effect of learning motivation on students' problem-solving abilities. This research was quantitative research with an experimental method. The research design used was a within-group with a repeated measure type. The subjects were the students of State Islamic University of Antasari Banjarmasin, consisting of 138 people. The research instrument used was a test. The data were analyzed by repeated measures using the SPSS version 25 program with Tests of Within-Subjects analysis. Based on the analysis data, it showed that the Sphericity Assumed value was Sig. 0.00, which was less than 0.05. It meant that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. In other words, there was clear evidence that the treatment results had a significant effect on the development of problem-solving abilities during treatment. Therefore, the results indicated that one of the efforts to improve students' problem-solving skills was to develop student learning motivation. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Adapun desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis within-group or individual design dengan tipe repeated measures. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pada perguruan tinggi Universitas Islam Negeri Antasari Banjarmasin dengan total sampel sejumlah 138 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes. Data dianalisis dengan repeated measures dalam program SPSS versi 25 dengan analisis Tests of Within-Subjects. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui bahwa nilai Sphericity Assumed adalah sig. 0,00 lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, atau dengan kata lain terdapat bukti yang jelas bahwa hasil perlakuan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan kemampuan pemecahan masalah selama perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa adalah dengan mengembangkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa.

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the human development index between regions of Jambi Province for the 2010-2020 period. The measured factors are health, education, and economy. Health factors are measured by life expectancy. The education factor has proxy the length of school expectation and average length of schooling. The economy can be measured by expenditure per capita. The type of data in this study is secondary data, namely data obtained and collected indirectly from the object under study. The objects of this research are 9 districts and 2 cities in Jambi Province for the period 2010-2020 from the official portal of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Jambi Province. Data analysis through panel data regression. The finding of this study shows that life expectancy, length of school expectation, and expenditure per capita has positive effect on HDI among regions in Jambi Province. The findings can be used as material for consideration to identify various obstacles/problems faced by a particular area that has a high or low human index. After that, the government can make policies to increase one or more human development index factors that show a decline.

During the pandemic, early marriage due to pregnancy out of wedlock increased in various parts of Indonesia, as well as in the Banjarsari sub-district. Pregnancy outside of marriage certainly has a social impact on society. The reality in society in dealing with social impacts is sometimes contrary to religious norms. This study discusses how to compromise between social reality and religious norms in dealing with the social impacts of pregnancy outside of marriage. By using qualitative methods and field research, the researcher uncovered several contradictory social realities in society, among others related to family and environmental disgrace, the marriage of pregnant women, child lineage, inheritance, and guardianship of daughters due to adultery. There is a meeting point between social reality and religious norms related to attitudes towards the social impact of pregnancy outside of marriage because Islamic law is guaranteed to be by all places and times.

Covid-19 memiliki dampak yang cukup signifikan dalam kehidupan masyarakat pada saat ini, salah satunya dalam bidang pendidikan. Pembelajaran yang seharusnya dilakukan secara tatap muka harus ditiadakan dan digantikan dengan pembelajaran daring. Saat ini pembelajaran daring menjadi sarana alternatif bagi tenaga pendidik agar kegiatan belajar mengajar tetap berjalan meskipun siswa sedang berada di rumah. Pembelajaran daring memiliki sisi positif dan sisi negatif, bagi siswa dampak negatifnya yaitu siswa kurang optimal dalam menguasai materi yang disampaikan guru sehingga membuat nilai para siswa menjadi turun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai rata - rata kelas X sebelum pandemi Covid-19 dan sesudah pandemi Covid-19 di SMK Ma’arif 9 Kebumen, serta untuk mengetahui kendala apa saja yang diraskan guru maupun siswa dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskrtiptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada tanggal 25 Januari sampai 2 Maret 2021 Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 di SMK Ma’arif 9 Kebumen. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari satu kelas. Penentuan sample dengan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam pembelajaran daring di SMK Maarif 9 Kebumen Nilai Rata-rata sebelum pandemi 86,92 dan sesudah pandemi 84,38,sehingga terjadi selisih penurunan nilai sebesar 2,54. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran daring mempengaruhi penurunan nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 3,01% jika dibandingkan dengan nilai sebelum pandemi

The use of brown-macroalgae (Phaeophyceae) as an alginate source is very broad, covering the food and non-food industry, because of that it is necessary to know the safety of these natural resources, one of which is safe from heavy metal contamination. The purpose of this study was to determine heavy metals concentrations accumulated in several types of Phaeophyceae (brown macroalgae) as an alginate source from Malang Rapat waters, Bintan. The method used was descriptive non-experimental. The determination of the location of sampling was done by purposive sampling method. Samples were taken through free collection, identified species and measured of metal contamination concentrations for As, Cd, and Pb. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that Phaeophyceae found in Malang Rapat waters were Turbinaria conoides, Sargassum aquifolium, Padina australis, Hormophysa cuneiformis with each metal concentration contamination of As 13.95 to 23.30 µg.g-1 dry weight; Cd from 0.33 to 1.08 µg.g-1 dry weight and Pb from 4.72 to 9.92 µg.g-1 dry weight. This study showed that all metal contamination ranges in all Phaeophyceae were on the verge of the maximum limit set by the National Standardization Agency of Indonesia Indonesian (SNI) No 7387 of 2009 and National Agency of Drug and Food Control of RI (BPOM) Regulation No 5 of 2018 for dried macroalgae product so that Phaeophyceae from Malang Rapat waters - Bintan was not safe to be used as raw material for alginate source or other processed products of brown-macroalgae.

The high level of fish consumption was the main factor in the vulnerability of Hg exposure to the human body. The preliminary information of the total mercury (THg) concentration of Indian scad (Decapterus russelli) and Torpedo scad (Megalaspis cordyla) from Binuangeun fish auction in Lebak, Banten, Indonesia, was presented in this research. The objective of this research was to understand the distribution of THg in each organ of D. russelli (muscle, gut tissues, gonad, and eggs) and M. cordyla (muscle, liver, and gut contents). The results showed that THg in all samples were below the National Regulation limit from the National Agency of Drug and Food in mg/kg ww. THg gonad from D. russelli was showed highly significant (P < 0.01) lower compare THg in muscle, gut tissues, and eggs. Pearson’s correlation from THg in each organ of D. russelli compare to total weight and total length showed that concentration of THg in gonad highly significantly (p < 0.01) correlated with total body weight (r2 = 0.97) and total length (r2 = 0.96). M. cordyla was showed no correlation of THg in muscle compare to total length and total weight. The present study showed that D. russelli could accumulate higher mercury compare to M. cordyla and need caution while consuming this fish.

This study aims to examine the determinants factors affecting students’ green behavior, particularly in plastic waste problems. The subjects of this study were Jambi University students with a sample of 1001 respondents. Data collection instruments were compiled by the researcher and tested for validity and reliability. Data collection was carried out using online questionnaire in collaboration with the information technology and communication development institute of the University of Jambi. The collected data is analyzed quantitatively using regression analysis by employing SPSS (version 25. The findings of the study showed that student awareness in environmental issues is the main variable influencing student behavior, followed by students’ understanding of environment variables and ecological-economic literacy variables. Meanwhile, the student lifestyle variable does not affect the behavior of students in the plastic waste problem.

The concentration of nineteen metals (Hg, As, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Li, Mg, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Se, Sr, Ti, Tl, V, and Zn) were determined in muscle tissues and digestive contents of Periglypta reticulata (Kerang Geton), collected from Lancang Island part of Seribu Islands, Jakarta. An interaction between toxic and essential metal in a clam is also studied. The results showed high concentrations of As (4.56), V (1.20), and Zn (4.91) mg/kg wet weight in muscle tissues and As (7.16), Ti (2.53), and Zn (8.68) mg/kg wet weight in digestive contents. Average concentrations of metals in muscle tissues and digestive contents were below regulation limit from permissible standard National Agency of Drug and Food Control except for Arsenic (As). The average concentration of metals in muscle tissues was significantly (P < 0.05) lower than in digestive contents except As, Co, Cr, Mg, and Tl, respectively. Toxic metals (Pb, Hg, Cd, and As) showed a strong correlation with several essential metals so that these metals can be a threat to the main function of a particular metal. The present study showed digestive contents could accumulate in higher metals; therefore, we suggested removing it before consuming this clam.

Mercury (Hg) contaminated seafood can cause severe health problems if it is consumed regularly. Mercury is very dangerous for humans because it can damage or reduce the function of the central nervous system, blood composition, lungs, kidneys, and other vital organs. This metal can also cause birth defects in newly born babies. The objectives of this study were to determine the concentration of total mercury (THg) in clams (Periglypta crispata) collected from Kepulauan Seribu Regency and the safe amount per week for consuming them. The safe amount (kg per week) to consume this clam was calculated by the Maximum Tolerable Intake (MTI) method. Our results showed that the average concentration of THg in the clams was 0.18±0.07 mg/kg wet weight. Among the analyzed organs, THg accumulation was highest in the digestive tract tissues. The clams were still safe to be consumed by humans since the THg concentration in these clams has not exceeded the maximum limit of heavy metal in seafood (0.5 mg/kg) set by the government of Indonesia. The safe amount to consume these clams was 0.53 kg per week, to avoid the adverse effect of Hg to human health.

Proto-oncogene tyrosine-protein kinase Src is also known as simply Src is a tyrosine kinase protein which is one of the targets in various cancer therapies such as leukemia. Meanwhile, akar kuning (Arcangelisia flava) has gained significant attention as a medicinal plant that has a cytotoxic effect on various types of cancer cells. This study aims to determine the potential of secondary metabolites of akar kuning as Src inhibitors. Molecular docking was carried out using Autodock Vina 1.1.2 with 2HCK receptors, that quercetin and dasatinib were used as reference ligands. The docking results showed that the highest affinity was shown by berberine with a ΔG value of -9.0 kcal/mol, exceeded quercetin and dasatinib. However, the highest amino acid similarity to quercetin and dasatinib was produced by jatrorrhizine, with 93.33% and 73.91%, respectively. Interestingly, berberine is the ligand with the third-highest similarity after jatrorrhizine and palmatine, while jatrorrhizine has the second-highest affinity after berberine. The results concluded that the combination of berberine and jatrorrhizine is predicted to be optimally used as an Src inhibitor in cancer therapy.

Abstract The importance of quality cognitive assessment instruments so that evaluations conducted really measure what the instrument should measure. This study aims to describe the number of items that are fit in the cognitive assessment instruments of junior high school science subjects that have been developed. This descriptive research was conducted in 7 SMP / MTs in Banjar District. Data in the form of a comparison of questions that are not fit. The results showed that items that were fit on the cognitive assessment instruments developed were 59.80% (2013 curriculum), 12.74% (KTSP), and 78.43% (2013 Impact Curriculum). Abstrak Pentingnya instrumen penilaian kognitif yang berkualitas agar evaluasi yang dilakukan benar-benar mengukur apa yang seharusnya diukur oleh instrumen tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jumlah butir soal yang fit pada pengembangan instrumen penilaian kognitif mata pelajaran IPA SMP. Penelitian deskriptif ini dilakukan pada 7 SMP/MTs Kabupaten Banjar. Data berupa perbandingan soal yang tidak fit menurut kurikulum yang diimplementasikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa butir soal yang fit pada instrumen penilaian kognitif yang dikembangkan adalah 59,80% (kurikulum 2013), 12,74% (KTSP), dan 78,43% (Kurikulum Imbas 2013).

Abstract The purpose of this study was to measure how the level of students’ satisfaction of using college infrastructure. that includes the types of services: (1) Furniture, (2) Equipment, and (3) Media. The research method used quantitative descriptive, the research sample was taken with random sampling technique. the research subject was consisted of 467 students from the batch of 2016 and 2018. The data collection technique was used a questionnaire that had fulfilled the validity test with the KMO responsivness was 0.721, assurance was 0.694, tangibles was 0.765, the empathy was 0.806 and the reliabillty was 0.835. The questionnaire was declared reliable with a value of responsiveness was 0.905, assurance was 0.898, tangibles was 0.903, empathy was 0.938 and reliability was 0.941. Data analysis was used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing. Hypothesis test result show that the dimension of responsiveness of satisfaction level was influenced by aspects of furniture, equipment, and media together with Ry11.12.13 = 0.800 p

The accessibility of building and environment is a part of the effort to fulfill the rights for disabilities. The people with disabilities is that every person who have the physical impirment, intelectual, mental, and also the sensoric for a long time which obstacle their interaction with the environment to fully participate. This research conducted to identify the condition and the availability of the building and environment in Lambung Mangkurat University. This research are conducted in 24 point of location which spread on 11 faculties in Banjarbaru and Banjarmasin regio and using the qualitative method and descriptive-analitic approach.The data collection technique in this research is that observation, measurement, and direct interview to the subject of the research. The result of this research will be a recommendation that can be a consideration to the stake holder to fulfilling the right of disabilities regarding the building and environment ini Lambung Mangkurat University.

Introduction: The nurses' assessment accuracy and confidence in the handling of mass victims of traffic accidents in the prehospital phase was an important success key of subsequent handling of victims when taken to the hospital, and vice versa if there was an error in providing help could be fatal for victims. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of face-to-face and watch video simulations of the assessment accuracy and nurses’ confidence in conducting prehospital disaster triage of victims of land traffic accidents using the SALT Triage model. Research Methods: Quasi experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The sample size was 32 nurses who were divided into 2 groups, namely the face-to-face simulation group and the watch video SALT Triage simulation group. The samples were taken by non-random sampling with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used was Paired t test and Independent t-test Results: There was no difference in the average nurses’ assessment accuracy and confidence in the face-to-face group with the group watching the simulation video. Statistical test results obtained p value> α = 0.05 Conclusion: The sorting mass victims of the SALT Triage model can teach nurses by providing face-to-face or watching a simulation video about SALT Triage. Both ways were equally good at conveying information

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of motivation, discipline, adversity quotient and integrity toward teachers’ competency test (UKG) of physical education and sports teachers in Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru. The method used in this study was a comparative causal method. Data analysis was used to determine the effect of exogenous variables with endogenous variables and between variables using Path Analysis with statistical calculations using Lisrel 8.80. Research data were collected using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire from four existing exogenous variables, namely motivation (X1), discipline (X2), adversity quotient (X3), integrity (X4), and documentary analysis for endogenous variables resulting from teachers’ competency test (UKG) of physical education and sports teachers (Y). The result of this study is motivation, discipline, adversity quotient and integrity have a positive direct effect on teachers’ competency test (UKG) of physical education and sports teachers in Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru.

This study aims to obtain the profile of Thin-Layer Chromatography (TLC) and Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometry from the ethanol extract of akar kuning stems (Arcangelisia flava) from Central Kalimantan. The TLC method is used with the orientation phase of the combination of polar-non-polar solvents resulting from orientation, while ethanol is used as the solvent for UV-Vis spectrophotometers. TLC results showed the formation of three stains on a mixture of polar solvents chloroform : methanol : water while in a non-polar solvent combination n-hexane : ethyl acetate did not show any stains. Comparison of retention factor (Rf) values shows the best combination of polar solvents to separate stains at a ratio of 5 : 2 : 1, respectively. Separation in 2-dimensional TLC with polar solvents showed a similar pattern with 1-dimensional separation in the form of three stains. UV-Vis spectrophotometer results showed four main peaks with wavelength 227.2; 267.4; 345.2; and 425.3 nm, respectively. The profile of the peak formed is very similar to that shown by berberine, one of the primary metabolites of akar kuning. TLC and UV-Vis spectrophotometers profiles obtained are expected to support further research using akar kuning stems, especially those from Central Kalimantan.

Pupuk ZA merupakan pupuk anorganik yang mengandung nitrogen dan sulfur. Nitrogen merupakan unsur hara utama pada pertumbuhan tanaman yang merupakan penyusun protein, sedangkan sulfur merupakan penyusun 21 asam amino pembentuk protein. Protein dibutuhkan oleh Bombyx mori L. untuk metabolisme dalam tubuhnya serta untuk pembentukan kokon. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk ZA pada tanaman murbei terhadap kokon ulat sutera alam (B. mori). Tanaman murbei yang diberi perlakuan pupuk ZA berumur 1 bulan dari penanaman, dan digunakan sebagai pakan setelah berumur 3 bulan dari penanaman. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh tanaman murbei yang diberi pupuk ZA terhadap berat kokon (F=8,767, p=0,000) dan diameter kokon (F=2,914, p=0,036). Rerata berat kokon tertinggi yaitu pada P3 (18,75 g/polybag) dengan rerata 1,91 g. Rerata diameter kokon tertinggi pada P3 (18,75 g/polybag) dengan rerata 2,08 cm.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpkir kritis siswa kelas V SD di sekitar perkebunan kopi Garahan Jember melalui penerapan model pembelajaran math-science berbasis performance assessment. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan pembuktian, kemampuan generalisasi, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Data dianalisis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Uji coba penelitian ini diterapkan pada dua SD di sekitar perkebunan kopi yaitu MI Al –Amin Garahan dan SD Negeri Sidomulyo 03 Jember dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak 80 siswa. Data diperoleh dari hasil kinerja siswa selama mengerjakan post test pada materi math-science dan wawancara. Pada siklus pertama terdapat 8 siswa (10%) yang memenuhi semua indikator kemampuan generalisasi dan pembuktian, sedangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah belum berkembang dengan maksimal. Pada siklus kedua terdapat peningkatan, yaitu terdapat 22 siswa (27.5%) yang mampu memiliki kemampuan pembuktian dan kemampuan generalisasi. Pada siklus ketiga terdapat 32 siswa (40%) yang mampu memiliki semua kemampuan berpikir kritis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.Kata kunci: math-science, performance assessment, kemampuan berpikir kritis THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MATH-SCIENCE LEARNING MODEL BASED ON PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ CRITICAL THINKING SKILL IN JEMBER COFFEE PLANTATION AREA Abstract The research is aimed t knowing the improvement of the critical thinking skills of the fifth grade students in Garahan Coffee plantation area through the implementation math-science learning model based on performance assessment. In this research, the critical thinking skills include proof skill, generalization skill, and problem solving skill. Data were analized by quantitative and qualitative approach. This research was implemented to two elementary schools in Garahan coffee plantation area, namely MI Al-Amin Garahan and SD Negeri Sidomulyo 03 Jember, with 80 students as the subject. Data were obtained from the result of students’ post test on math-science and interview. In the first trial, there are 8 students (10%) who comply with all indicators of generalization and proof skills, while the problem solving skill has not optimally been developed. The result of the second trial has increased to 22 students (27.5%) who have proof and generalization skills. The third trial shows that 32 students (40%) comply with all indicators of critical thinking skills, namely proof, generalization, and problem solving skills. Abstract: The purpose of research is to develop a Virtual Laboratory excretory system and determine the effect in improving students' motivation in class XI SMAN 2 Bondowoso. The development study refers to the development model Reflective, Recursive, Design, and Development (R2D2), afterward the product test performed by a quasi-experimental methods. The data collection was conducted by interview, validation expert, and ARCS questionnaires. The product validation result by material experts, development expert of teaching materials, flash media experts, and practitioners shows the percentage 93.05%, 90.62%, 94.16%, 93.88% ("Excellent"). The trial results showed that the Virtual Laboratory on excretion system improves significantly effect (p = 0.00) towards the students in class XI SMAN 2 Bondowoso motivation. In Copper (Cu) based antifouling (AF) paints Cu was largely used as booster biocide after organotin was banned. Cu is micronutrient which is important in photosynthesis process because Cu is an essential metal as component of enzyme and electron transport chain. But in certain dosage, Cu could be toxic to marine organism. Chaetoceros gracilis and Isochrysis sp. are dominant microalgae in aquatic ecosystem. In this study the effect of Cu and Cadmium (Cd) on two marine microalgae, C. gracilis and Isochrysis sp. were compared. Toxicity test was based on American Standard for Testing Material (ASTM). IC50-96 h of Cd as reference toxicant was 2,370 mg.L-1 for C. gracilis and 490 mg.L-1 for Isochrysis sp. IC50-96 h of Cu to growth of C. gracilis was 63.75 mg.L-1 and Isochrysis sp. was 31.80 mg.L-1. Both Cd and Cu were inhibited growth of microalgae. Based on IC50-96 h value, it could be concluded that Cu was more toxic than Cd. Toxicity of Cu was 37 times stronger than Cd for C. gracilis and 15 times for Isochrysis sp. It was estimated that at concentration 10 mg.L-1 Cu does not show observable effect (NOEC) to C. gracilis and 5 mg.L-1 to Isochrysis sp. The lowest observable effect of Cu (LOEC) to C. gracilis was at concentration 17 mg.L-1 and 10 mg.L-1 for Isochrysis sp.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of interest earned time and business risk effect on debt to equity ratio and to determine the role of non-debt tax shields moderate the relationship between time interests earned and business risk on capital structure. There are 12 companies of pharmaceutical industries in Indonesia and the ones that meet the requirements are only 9 pharmaceutical industries. The data are analyzed and interpreted using the analysis tool of Struktur Equation Modeling with WarpPLS 5.0. Program is Variance or component based SEM is used to analyze hypotheses. The study concluded that Time Interest Earned and Interest Earned Time interaction with Tax Debt Non Shields no significant effect on Debt to Equity Ratio and to variable Business Risk and Business Risk Interactions with non-debt tax Shields significant effect on Debt to Equity Ratio. The results of this study are non-debt tax shields strengthen the relationship between the business risk of the debt to equity ratio which correspond to trade off theory, where the company made tax savings by using additional debt invested on fixed assets when the level of business risk is low and does not use additional debt when the company's business is high-risk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dan tipe Jigsaw ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika dan karakter siswa; (2) mendeskripsikan, perbandingan keefektifan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika dan karakter siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung. Penelitian merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan dua kelompok eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Banjarnegara yang terdiri atas delapan kelas, sedangkan sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas yang dipilih secara acak. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes prestasi dalam bentuk soal uraian yang terdiri atas pretest dan posttest. Analisis dilakukan dengan uji F dengan Hotelling’s Trace ( = 0,05) untuk mengetahui beda rata-rata kedua kelas secara multivariat. Uji t dengan kriteria Bonferroni ( = 0,05) dilakukan untuk mengetahui variabel terikat mana yang membuat kedua kelas tersebut berbeda. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dan tipe Jigsaw efektif ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika dan karakter siswa dan (2) pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw lebih efektif dibanding pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika dan karakter siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung. The Effectiveness of Learning TPS and JIGSAW Types Seen from Mathematics Achievement and Student Character Abstract The purpose of this study was to: (1) describe the effectiveness of TPS and Jigsaw cooperative learning in terms of learning achievement and the student character; (2) describe inequality TPS effectiveness of cooperative learning with Jigsaw cooperative learning in terms of learning achievement and student’s character on the topic content with curved side. The study is quasi-experimental study using two experimental groups. The population of the research includes all students of class IX SMP Negeri 1 Banjarnegara which consists of eight classes, while the sample of the study consisted of two randomly selected classes. The research instrument is the achievement test in the form of essays that consist of the pretest and posttest, and a questionnaire to measure the students character. F test with Hotelling's Trace (α = 0.05) was done to determine the average difference in two classes multivariately. T test with Bonferroni criteria (α = 0.05) was conducted to determine which of the dependent variable that makes these two classes differ. The results showed that: (1) TPS and Jigsaw cooperative learning are effective in terms of learning achievement and the student character; (2) Jigsaw cooperative learning is more effective than TPS cooperative learning in terms of learning achievement and student’s character on the topic content with curved side. Relationship can be seen from the similarity of the cow and bull. One method to find out about the phylogenetic relationship between species is by using cranial morphometry (craniometrics). The purpose of this research was to identify morphological cranium Bali cattle , banteng baluran , and banteng merubetiri based on the parameters measured .This research was conducted in August and ending in October 2013 , held at the National Park Baluran and Merubetiri National Park. The design of this research is descriptive quantitative research , using data analysis kalster ( cluster analysis). Parameters of this research using 15 indicators that have been established in accordance with the research Hayashi , 1982. Materials used in this study are adult male cranium Bali cattle obtained from abattoir ( Slaughterhouse ) Denpasar in January to July 2013 a total of six specimens . Cranium of an adult male bull that used a total of six specimens . Five specimens were collected from the National Park consisting Baluran ( two cranium that is banteng baluran 4 and 5 in 1992 ) and the ( three cranium is banteng baluran1, banteng baluran 2 , and banteng baluran 3 in the 2012-2013 ) . Cranium specimen obtained from the sixth bull collection Merubetiri National Park . Measuring instruments used in this study is the large calipers with a precision level of 0.01 cm . The results of this study showed that the cranium cluster of Bali cattle with coefficient range of 0.016 to 0.042 in contrast to the first cluster is bull cranium specimen glaze 1 bull , bull glaze 2 , 3 baluran bull , and the bull merubetiri 1 , with a coefficient value of 0.047 to 0.161 range . Bali cattle cranium differ significantly with cluster cranium second bull is a bull glaze glaze glaze bull 4 and 5 with the coefficient of 0.162 to 0.251 range. Merubetiri bull glaze and form two clusters , the first cluster bull bull glaze consisting of 1 , 2 bull glaze , glaze bull bull merubetiri 3 and 1 , while the second consists of a cluster bull bull bull glaze glaze 4 and 5 . Turns bull glaze specimens collected in 1992 in contrast to the bull glaze specimens collected in 2012 and 2013. Bull glaze specimens collected in 2012 and 2013, closer to the bull merubetiri specimens . And the bull specimens closer distance coefficient with Bali cattle. The conclusion of this study is the overall specimen Bali cattle entered in a cluster , different from the first cluster and cluster bull bull both . Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan tes diagnostik pada materi mata pelajaran IPA SMP. Tahapan penelitian meliputi penyusunan tes dan penentuan penggunaan acuan kriteria atau norma, serta analisis validitas dan reliabilitas. Penyusunan tes me-liputi (1) penentuan tujuan; (2) penyusunan kisi-kisi; (3) penulisan butir soal; (4) telaah soal diikuti revisi; (5) uji coba soal; (6) analisis dan interpretasi; (7) perakitan soal; (8) implementasi/uji coba. Ber-dasarkan kriteria validitas isi dan konstruk diperolah 29 butir soal yang baik, dengan indeks reliabilitas sebesar 0,814. Distribusi capaian hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 14,67% siswa mendapat skor penguasaan di atas 65%, dan 85,33% siswa mem-peroleh skor penguasaan di bawah 65%. Lebih rinci capaian hasil belajar pada dimensi pengetahuan faktual 53,87%; konseptual 51,40%; prosedural 49,87%; metakognitif 49,80%; dengan rata-rata 51,23%. Jika acuan batas pencapaian 65% maka penguasaan siswa masih berada di bawah batas pencapaian minimal dan mengalami kesulitan belajar.Kata kunci: tes diagnostik, IPA SMP, dimensi pengetahuan ______________________________________________________________ DEVELOPING DIAGNOSTIC TESTS FOR THE NATURAL SCIENCE SUBJECT IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Abstract This study aims to develop a diagnostic test on the natural science subject in junior high school. The stages of the study include the preparation of the test and the determination of the use of reference criteria or norms, as well as the validity and reliability analysis. Preparation of the test includes: (1) setting goals, (2) the preparing the blue print test, (3) writing about the items, (4) analyzing and revising the test (5) trying out the test, (6) analyzing and interpreting the test, (7) assembling the problem, (8) imple-menting or testing. Based on the criteria of content and constructs validity 29 items were obtained, with a reliability index of 0.814. Distribution achievement of learning outcomes shows that 14.67% of students got mastery over 65%, and 85.33% of students got mastery below 65%. In more details, the learners’ achievement of factual knowledge was: 53.87%; conceptual: 51.40%; procedural: 49.87%; metacognitive: 49.80%, with average: 51.23%. If the passing grade for achievement is 65%; then students’ mastery is still below the minimum achievement and they have learning difficulties. Abstract: Promoting Students’ Metacognitive Skills Using JIGSAW-Reciprocal Teaching. Metacognition skill guides the students to be self-regulated learners. Self-regulated learners are responsible to enhance the progress of learning. This study aims at finding out the effect of the learning strategy toward the metacognition skill and how the combination of Jigsaw-Reciprocal Teaching (JIRAT) strategies could significantly improve the metacognition skill of lower academic ability students. This study was quasi experimental with factorial 4 x 2 and pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was the 10th grade students of 2008/2009 academic years of the public and private senior high schools in Jember. The data was analyzed by ANCOVA. Findings showed the learning strategy affected the metacognition skill. The JIRAT strategy, RT strategy, and Jigsaw strategy have equivalent position in increasing metacognition skills. There were differences in metacognition skills on upper academic ability and lower academic ability students. There was no interaction effect of the strategy and the ability of the students metacognition skill. JIRAT strategy, RT strategy, and Jigsaw strategy of upper academic ability and lower academic ability had equivalent position to increase metacognition skills. The JIRAT strategy, RT, and Jigsaw tended to increase metacognition skills of lower academic ability students. Abstrak: Pemberdayaan Keterampilan Metakognisi Siswa Berkemampuan Akademik Rendah dengan Strategi Pembelajaran Jigsaw-Reciprocal Teaching (Jirat). Keterampilan metakognisi dapat membantu siswa menjadi pebelajar mandiri. Pebelajar mandiri bertanggung jawab terhadap kemajuan belajarnya. Tujuan penelitian adalah meningkatkan secara signifikan keterampilan metakognisi siswa berkemampuan akademik bawah dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran Jigsaw-Reciprocal Teaching (JIRAT). Rancangan penelitian adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan faktorial 4X2. Prosedur penelitian dengan desain eksperimen Pretest-Postest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri dan SMA Swasta di Jember. Keterampilan metakognisi diukur dengan rubrik yang dikembangkan oleh Corebima. Data yang didapat dianalisis dengan analisis kovarian (anakova). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan metakognisi. Startegi JIRAT, reciprocal Teaching (RT), dan strategi Jigsaw pada siswa dengan kemampuan akademik atas dan bawah mempunyai kemampuan sama dalam meningkatkan keterampilan metakognisinya. JIRAT, strategi RT, dan strategi Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan keterampilan metakognisi siswa berkemampuan akademik bawah.

The objective of the study was to analyze the influence of family environment and social environment toward students’ achievement for Economics subject at the XI Social Studies students in SMA N 3 Jambi in the academic year of 2012/ 2013. The data were collected by questionnaire and documentation. Then, the data were analyzed by descriptive analysis and regression. The result of the study showed that simultaneously, family environment and social environment influenced significantly toward students’ achievement for Economics subject at the XI IPS students in SMK N 3 Jambi. In detail, family environment had more dominant influence than social environment to influence students’ achievement.

The purpose of this study was to prove the effect of the acquisition methodSTAD student learning outcomes in terms of aspects of student interest in economicsubjects in class X at SMAN 10 Batang Jambi. The study was conducted using a quasiexperimentaldesign with one-shoot method of post test design. The results showed thatthe method STAD significant positive effect on the acquisition of student learningoutcomes. Proven to strengthen students' interest in learning method STAD acquisitionof student learning outcomes.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adaptabilitas dan keefektifan model Asesmen Teman Sejawat (ATS) untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah bidang Akuntansi Perusahaan Jasa. Subjek coba adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi FKIP Unlam. Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri atas: (1) tiga macam tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, (2) angket skala lajuan kemampuan kerjasama kolaboratif, (3) rubrik penilaian analitik dan (4) log dan jurnal belajar. Data dianalisis dengan GLM Repeated Measures dan statistik non-parametrik. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa ATS: (1) secara signifikan lebih baik daripada model asesmen konvensional. (2) tidak selalu tepat untuk mengungkap penguasaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang bersifat novelty, (3) memiliki kelayakan, adaptabilitas dan keberfungsian sebagai asesmen pelengkap untuk mengubah kultur belajar-mengajar konvensional, (5) yang ideal memiliki bobot proporsi untuk dosen berkisar antara 50% - 75% dan untuk mahasiswa berkisar antara 50% - 90%, dan (6) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemampuan kerjasama individu dan kelompok dalam belajar. The learning achievement is important aspect on biology learning. This study aims at finding out the effect of the learning strategy toward the cognitive learning achievement.This study was quasy experimental design. The procedure of the experimental study was pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was the 10th grade students of 2008/2009 academic year of the public and private senior high schools in Jember. The cognitive learning achievement was measured by adopting a test of essay. Before using the instruments, they were tried out to get validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and the different weight. The data analysis by covariance (ancova) that were taken place at least significance difference (LSD). In guiding the calculation, the data were analyzed by using the computer program of SPSS for Window 16.0 version. Findings showed that the learning strategy affected toward cognitive learning achievement of the students. Jigsaw, Reciprocal Teaching (RT), and the combination of Jigsaw-RT strategies could increase the cognitive learning achievement of the students. The combination of Jigsaw-RT strategies was significantly approved in increasing the cognitive learning achievement of the students that were similar to Jigsaw and RT strategies.
