4. Roditeljsko sagorijevanje, stres i dobrobit majki darovite i nedarovite djece

- Abstract
Roditeljstvo darovite djece nosi sa sobom mnoge izazove ali i dobrobiti, stoga je cilj ovog istraživanja bio ispitati razlike u roditeljskom sagorijevanju, percipiranom stresu, zadovoljstvu životom i psihološkom procvatu majki darovite i nedarovite djece. U uzorak je bilo uključeno 66 majki darovite i 63 majke nedarovite djece. U istraživanju su korišteni sljedeći mjerni instrumenti: Upitnik sagorijevanja u roditeljstvu, Ljestvica percipiranog stresa, Skala zadovoljstva životom i Skala psihološkog procvata. Očekivalo se da se majke darovite i nedarovite djece neće razlikovati u razini sagorijevanja, ali će majke darovite djece imati veću razinu i stresa i dobrobiti. Razlike u ispitivanim varijablama između majki darovite i nedarovite djece testirane su t-testom. Rezultati su pokazali da su majke darovite djece obrazovanije, ali se od majki nedarovite djece ne razlikuju značajno ni u jednoj ispitivanoj varijabli., Parenting gifted children has many challenges as well as benefits, so the aim of this research was to test differences in parental burnout, perceived stress, life satisfaction and psychological flourishing of mothers of gifted and non-gifted children. The sample included 66 mothers of gifted and 63 mothers of non-gifted children. The following instruments were used: Parental Burnout Assessment, Perceived Stress Scale, Life Satisfaction Scale and Flourishing Scale. It was expected that mothers of gifted and non-gifted children would not differ in the level of parental burnout but mothers of gifted children would exibit a higher level of both percieved stress and well-being. Differences in the examined variables between mothers of gifted and non-gifted children were tested with a t-test. The results showed that mothers of gifted children are more educated, but do not differ significantly from mothers of non-gifted children in any of the examined variables.

Knjiga je prvenstveno namijenjena studentima i kao takva u potpunosti obuhvaća gradivo iz predmeta Osnove betonskih konstrukcija na Preddiplomskom sveučilišnom studiju građevinarstva te iz predmeta Betonske Konstrukcije 1 i Betonske Konstrukcije 2 na Preddiplomskom stručnom studiju građevinarstva FGAG Split. Djelomično se odnosi i na gradivo u okviru predmeta Betonske Konstrukcije 1 i Betonske Konstrukcije 2 na Sveučilišnom diplomskom studiju građevinarstva te gradivo predmeta Nosive konstrukcije 1 na Sveučilišnom preddiplomskom studiju arhitekture i urbanizma FGAG Split. Intencija je autora da se materija ne prikazuje na detaljistički i u širinu, već da se na jasan i koncizan način predstave osnove proračuna, dimenzioniranja i oblikovanja armirano betonskih konstrukcija. Kako je nastajala u dužem razdoblju, materijali su pratili i razvoj normi za proračun betonskih konstrukcija, od PBAB-a, preko europske prednorme, do najnovije europske norme za beton: HRN EN 1992-1-1:2013/A1:2015 (EC-2). Navedena norma, važeća u Republici Hrvatskoj te po kojoj je ovo izdanje knjige usklađeno, danas u svijetu nesumnjivo predstavlja jednu od najmodernijih normi za proračun, dimenzioniranje i oblikovanje armirano betonskih konstrukcija.

In this study, modal and structural identification of a historic masonry bell tower in Čuntići, Croatia, damaged during the recent Petrinja earthquake, was performed. The results of the ambient vibration tests (AVT) and operational modal analysis (OMA) were used to update the finite element numerical model of the bell tower. Three modes were experimentally determined: the first two were bending modes (f
1 = 4.395 Hz and f2 = 4.639 Hz), and the third was a torsional mode (f3 = 10.303 Hz). The experimentally determined and the originally calculated (preliminary NM) modal shapes agreed well, but in terms of modal frequencies, the correlation was poor. After model updating, some structural parameters were identified, and a reliable finite element numerical model was established. The proposed method can provide a reliable evaluation of the structural parameters of historic masonry buildings. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published

8. Numerical analysis of pressures on rigid structures using the smoothed particle hydrodynamics method

This study aims to carry out a numerical analysis of hydrodynamic pressures on rigid structures caused by dynamic base excitation. First, the model for uid simulation is presented based on a numerical approach called Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method. Then, the described model is used to measure the pressure exerted on rigid structures. In the performed analysis, the structures of di erent geometries (a rectangular tank with vertical sides, rectangular tanks with one inclined side of constant slope, and a cylindrical tank) are exposed to simple harmonic horizontal base excitations. The obtained hydrodynamic pressures on the sides of the tanks are compared with analytical and other numerical solutions.

Strong Mw 6.4 Petrinja earthquake from 29.12.2020. took 7 lives and caused catastrophic damage in the Banovina area. The paper presents and analyses the most important earthquake parameters and highlights their importance in understanding the damage and demolition of buildings, as well as creating an optimal structure for their reconstruction. A contribution is made to the understanding of the complex mechanism of earthquake formation through the analysis of the stress-strain state in a rock mass during tectonic plate conflict. The causes of demolition and damage to buildings are explained by the combination of the properties of their structure, soil and the earthquake itself. Solutions for optimal structure of new buildings, as well as solutions for structural renovation of damaged buildings are proposed and described.

Razorni potres Petrinja (opći pojam za potrese na Banovini) od 29.12.2020. magnitude Mw 6.4 oduzeo je 7 ljudskih života i prouzročio katastrofalne štete na području Banovine. U radu su prikazani i analizirani najvažniji parametri potresa te naglašena njihova važnost u razumijevanju nastalih oštećenja i rušenja građevina te oblikovanju optimalne konstrukcije za njihovu obnovu. Dan je doprinos u razumijevanju složenog mehanizma nastanka potresa preko analize naponsko-deformacijskog stanja u stijenskom masivu tijekom međudjelovanja tektonskih ploča. Uzroci rušenja i oštećenja zgrada objašnjeni su kombiniranim utjecajem svojstava njihove konstrukcije, tla i samog potresa. 11. The effect of anisotropy on response of masonry walls under horizontal forces

Firstly, the previously developed and verified numerical model for static and dynamic analysis of planar unreinforced and confined masonry walls is shortly presented. The model can simulate the main nonlinear effects of materials and changes in the structure geometry. Simplified anisotropic constitutive model for masonry is described. Corresponding stiffness, strengths, and limit strains of masonry is modelled for main directions of anisotropy. Criterions of limit bearing capacity and collapse of masonry are separately defined for normal stresses only, and separately for normal and shear stresses. Using the presented numerical model, behaviour of unreinforced and confined two-story anisotropic masonry walls, with different walls length, quality of masonry and coefficient of anisotropy, under horizontal static forces is analysed. It was discussed the effect of anisotropy coefficient of masonry response of walls.

12. Numerical study of pressures on liquid storage tanks caused by sloshing during an earthquake

The paper briefly presents a numerical study which investigates the sloshing effects of liquid in storage tanks subjected to seismic forces. Tanks are used to store a variety of liquids, e.g. water for drinking and fire fighting, petroleum, chemicals, liquefied natural gas etc. Satisfactory behavior of tanks during strong ground motions is crucial for modern facilities. Sloshing effects and pressure changes on the walls and the roof of liquid storage tanks during an earthquake can cause the failure of the tank, where the collapse of the container has significantly higher consequences than the value of the container and its contents. A collapse of the water tank (water tower or similar) leads to the disruption of the water supply and subsequently to a possible spread of infections. On the other hand, a collapse of tanks that store flammable materials (oil, gas...) leads to environmental pollution, but also to extensive uncontrolled fires. The numerical model used is based on the SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) method which can precisely simulate and accurately determine the free surface of the fluid and the pressure that it produces on the tank’s walls and roof due to sloshing actions during the earthquake. The chosen method can simulate the most important nonlinear effects of the fluid, like fluid viscosity, turbulence and cavitation. Some of the model’s possibilities are illustrated in a practical example.

13. Numerical study of the behaviour of masonry walls with different height-length ratio under static and seismic loads

The effect of the height–to–length ratio of unreinforced and confined masonry walls under horizontal static and seismic loads was numerically investigated by using a previously developed numerical model of the authors for nonlinear static and dynamic analysis of masonry structures. The model can simulate the main nonlinear effects of construction materials and large displacements of structures. Masonry walls without openings were analysed, with variants of rigid and soft masonry. It was assumed that wall foundation uplifting is possible, without its slipping beyond subsoil. Masonry walls with equal height and different length, and masonry walls with equal length and different height were analysed. It was concluded that the height–to–length ratio of masonry walls has a significant influence on their ultimate bearing capacity under static and seismic loads.

14. The Effect of Classical Reinforcement - Prestressed Reinforcement Ratio on the Behaviour of Concrete Beams

Firstly, the effect of classical reinforcement - prestressed reinforcement ratio on the behaviour of real concrete beams up to failure was experimentally investigated. The beams were 10m in length and 0, 5m in height, with following combination of classical and prestressed reinforcement: only classical reinforcement, dominant classical reinforcement and prestressed reinforcement, equal prestressed and classical reinforcement, dominant prestressed reinforcement and classical reinforcement and only prestressed reinforcement. The total amount of reinforcement in each beam was selected to provide their equal ultimate bending bearing capacity. Deflections, stresses in concrete, classical and prestressed reinforcement and concrete cracks were monitored until collapse of the beams. Main conclusions and recommendations for practical applications according to results of performed tests are given. Then, using the previously developed numerical model for static analysis of spatial frame structures [1, 2], which can simulate main nonlinear effects of their behaviour, numerical analysis of tested beams was performed. Good agreement was obtained between the experimental and the numerical results, which confirms the possibility of practical application of adopted numerical model.

15. Seizmic analysis of the Lešće dam

Basic characteristics of Lešćegravity dam (Croatia) and adopted numerical model for its seismic analysis is first shorty described. The presented model can simulate main nonlinear effects of concrete and foundation rock, as well as water-dam-rock dynamic interaction. The dam was originally calculated with acceleration of 0.1g.Later it was found that at this locality earthquake acceleration up to 0.141g can be expected. In this paper, the dam is analyzed for the action of the several earthquakes, as well as for the harmonic base acceleration, with maximum acceleration of 0.15g. Only the most unfavorable dam block was analyzed. Analyses show that this dam block has sufficient safety for possible earthquakes with maximum ground acceleration of 0.15g.

Structures that are in direct contact with fluid (for example: dams, water tanks, off shore structures, pipelines, water towers, etc.)are often present in engineering practice. Numerical models for real simulations of these structures have to include the simulation of the fluid-structure dynamic interaction. The results of seismic analysis of Lešće dam are presented, which include the water-dam-soil dynamic interaction. The main nonlinear effects of concrete, reinforcement, soil and water, as well as change of the system geometry (large displacements), are modeled. Three different scaled earthquakes and harmonic base excitation, with a maximum acceleration of 0.15g, are considered. Performed analysis confirms sufficient safety of the dam, compared to current regulations and seismic activity of the area.

Prikazani su rezultati seizmičke analize brane Lešće, koja uključuje utjecaj dinamičke interakcije sustava voda – brana – tlo. Modelirani su najvažniji nelinearni utjecaji betona, armature, tla i vode kao i promjena geometrije sustava. Razmatrana su tri različita skalirana potresa i harmonijsko ubrzanje podloge, s maksimalnim ubrzanjem 0, 15 g. Razmatrane analize potvrđuju dostatnu sigurnost brane u odnosu na tadašnje propise i seizmičnost područja.

This paper briefly describes the numerical models for the simulation of fluid-structure coupled problems. The applied models are primarily intended to simulate the fluid-structure dynamic interaction in seismic conditions. Models can simulate the most important non-linear effects of plane and spatial structures that are in direct contact with fluid. Some of models' possibilities are illustrated in numerical analyses of the seismic behavior for several practical examples.

Numerički je istražen utjecaj intenziteta vertikalnog opterećenja na ponašanje zidanih zidova pri potresu. Moguće je odizanje temelja zidova od podloge. Analizirani su dvoetažni nearmirani zidovi i zidovi omeđeni serklažima, bez otvora i s otvorima, sa ziđem dobre i loše kvalitete. Za analizu je korišten prethodno razvijeni numerički model autora, koji može simulirati najvažnije nelinearne utjecaje ziđa, betona, armature i tla. Zaključeno je da povećanje vertikalnog opterećenja ima negativan utjecaj na ponašanje zidanih zidova pri dinamičkoj pobudi.

This paper presents the results of numerical tests on the effect of horizontal ring beams on the behaviour of masonry walls under static and dynamic load. Two-storey walls without and with openings were analyzed, with good and poor quality of masonry, with different boundary conditions at the foundation-base interface. The effect of the longitudinal bars profiles of horizontal ring beams on the behaviour of walls under horizontal static load, as well as under harmonic and seismic base acceleration was studied. Previously developed numerical model by authors for static and dynamic analysis of planar masonry structures was used. It was concluted that walls without horizontal ring beams had a significantly smaller strength capacity than equal walls with horizontal ring beams, and that greater longitudinal bars profiles of horizontal ring beams contributes to a higher limit strength capacity of masonry walls.

The building consists of a ground floor, one upper floor with flat roof. The construction of the building is made of masonry with reinforced concrete mezzanine monolithic slabs. The project contains: technical description of the construction, general and special technical conditions, quality control and assurance plan, calculation of load-bearing structural elements and characteristic construction drawings.

The work include technical description of the structure, general and particular conditions of civil engineering works, control plan and quality assurance plan, calculation of the main structural elements as well as characteristic structural plans and reinforcement plans.

U radu je prikazana numerička analiza utjecaja anizotropnih svojstava ziđa na ponašanje nearmiranih i omeđenih zidanih zidova u uvjetima statičkog i dinamičkog (potresnog) opterećenja, uz pomoć numeričkog modela. Korišten je numerički model za statičku i dinamičku (seizmičku) analizu ravninskih zidanih konstrukcija kojim se mogu simulirati najvažniji nelinearni efekti ponašanja ziđa, armiranog betona i tla. Rezultati utjecaja anizotropije prikazani su u grafičkom obliku i s tekstualnom interpretacijom. Na kraju su navedeni najvažniji zaključci provedenog istraživanja., The paper presents a numerical analysis of the influence of anisotropic masonry properties on the behaviour of unreinforced and confined masonry walls under conditions of static and dynamic (earthquake) loading, with the help of a numerical model. A numerical model was used for the static and dynamic (seismic) analysis of planar masonry structures, which can simulate the most important nonlinear effects of the behaviour of the wall, reinforced concrete and soil. The results of the influence of anisotropy are presented in graphic form and with a textual interpretation. At the end, the most important conclusions of the conducted research are listed.

Habanje je pojava trošenja materijala. Razlog tome je kretanje različitih promjena opterećenja kod industrijskih podova i kolnika prometnica. Kloridi koji nastaju, a da nisu od utjecaja morske vode su kemijski produkti kao što su zaštita ceste od mraza, kemijski premazi i kloridi koje izlaze iz pokretnih strojeva. Kloridi imaju negativan utjecaj na njihov prodor u cementi kamen koji kao rezultat daje brže trošenje površinske podloge. Cilj je proučiti kako dodatkom kemijskih i mineralnih dodataka se pospješuje otpor na habanje. U ovom će radu biti navedeni faktori koji utječu na otpornost na habanje. Kao rezultat ispitivanja koristit će se šest različitih mješavina koji će nam predočiti pozitivna i negativna svojstva betona na otpornost na habanje., Fraying is the phenomena of the wear material. The reason is moving of the different changes of load at the industrial floors and pavements. Chlorides, which appear and that are not caused by sea water are chemical products, just as the road frost protection, chemical coatings and chlorides which come out from moving vehicles. Chlorides have negative influence on their penetration into the cement stone, which gives faster wearing of surface, as the result. The goal is to study how, chemical additions and mineral additions to speed up fraying resistance. In this paper, listed factors which influence fraying resistance are going to be mentioned. As a testing result, it is going to be used six different mixtures which are going to show positive and negative concrete properties to the fraying resistance.

The structure is semi Prefabricated and it consist of two equal span (16 m). Middle pier is V-shapped. Elevation of the overpass is cca. 9 m above highway elevation and therefore leaves enough space for traffic beneath the overpass. The work includes the calculation of the longitudinally, transversely span griders and column, and characteristic construction plans as well as technical description of the construction.

Tema ovog diplomskog rada je izrada glavnog projekta Poslovno uslužnog centra u gradu Trilju. Proračunate su dilatacije A1, A2 i A3. Dilatacije A1 i A3 su katnosti prizemlja, dok se dilatacija A2 sastoji od jedne etaže. Cijela konstrukcija je monolitne izvedbe. Nosiva konstrukcija je armirano betonska, a sastoji se od horizontalnih i vertikalnih elemenata. Zidovi dilatacija A1, A2 i A3 su temeljeni na temeljnim trakama dok su stupovi dilatacije A2 temeljeni na temeljima samcima. Za nosive elemente je napravljen numerički model i proračun, a za pojedine elemente i armaturni planovi., The topic of this master thesis is development of the main project of an business service center in the city of Trilj. Dilatations A1, A2 and A3 were calculated. The dilatations A1 and A3 are the storeys of the ground floor, while the dilatation A2 consist of one floor. The whole construction is monolithic. The load bearing structure is reinforced concrete and consists of horizontal and vertical elements. Walls of dilatations A1, A2 and A3 are based on foundation strips while columns of dilatation A2 are based on single foundations. A numerical model and calculation were made for load bearing elements and a reinforcement plan for individual ones.

The building consist of ground floor and five stories. Calculation of structural elements was performed in accordance with European standards using structural analysis software SCIA Engineer 19.1. Internal forces for the foundations, slabs ,walls, beams and columns were calculated and reinforced accordingly. The project is consisted od technical description, calculation of structural elements and characteristic structural drawings.

U radu je prikazan glavni projekt stambene zgrade u ulici Frana Supila u Splitu. Građevina je izvedena u armiranom betonu monolitnom izvedbom s armirano-betonskim temeljima, zidovima, gredama te armirano-betonskim pločama kao međukatnim konstrukcijama. Projekt sadrži tehnički opis konstrukcije, opće i posebne tehničke uvjete, plan kontrole i osiguranja kvalitete, proračun nosivih konstrukcijskih elemenata, karakteristične građevinske nacrte i armaturne planove., Main design of the residental building, which is positioned in the Frano Supilo street in Split, is presented in this work. Building is made of reinforced concrete in monolithic construction with reinforced concrete foundations, walls, columns, beams and reinforced concrete plates as a ceiling slabs. The project contains a technical description of the construction, general and particular conditions of civil engineering works, control plan and quality assurance plan, calculation of the main structural elements as well as charasteristic strucural plans and reinforcement plans.

U radu je prikazan glavni projekt stambeno poslovne zgrade na križanju Mangerove ulice i Ulice Ćirila i Metoda. Konstrukcija se sastoji od dvije etaže garaže, prizemlja i 3 kata. Konstrukcija je izvedena u armiranom betonu monolitnom izvedbom betonskih temelja, zidova, stupova, grede te armirano betonskim pločama kao međukatnim konstrukcijama. Projekt se sastoji od tehničkog opisa konstrukcije, proračuna nosivih elemenata konstrukcije te od karakterističnih građevinskih nacrta. Main design of the residental and business building, which is positioned at the crossroads of Manger and Ćiril and Metod streets, is presented in this work. The construction is composed of two storey garage, ground floor and 3 upper floors. It is performed in reinforced concrete, with the monolitic design of concrete foundations, walls, columns, beams and reinforced concrete slabs as constructions between floors. The project includes: a technical description of the construction, calculation of the bearing structural elements and characteristic construction design.

All construction elements are made as reinforced concrete elements with a monolithic design. The project contains: technical part, quality control and assurance program, bearing budget construction elements, architectural blueprints and reinforcement plans.

U radu je prikazan projekt tipskog nadvožnjaka preko autoceste. Nadvožnjak se sastoji od dva jednakoraspona (19 m) te ima stup u pojasu razdvajanja projektiran tako da se širi prema vrhu (“V”). Niveleta nadvožnjaka je oko 8.5m iznad nivelete autoceste tako da ima dosta prostora za slobodni profil ispod nadvožnjaka. Projekt sadrži tehnički opis, proračun glavnih nosača i karakteristične građevinske nacrte., This paper presents the design of the overpass above highway. The structure is consistof two equalspans(19m)and hasacolumnin theseparationzone designed as it gets wider from the bottom to top (“V”). Elevation of the overpass is 8.5 meters above highway elevation giving enough space for traffic beneath the overpass. The work includes the tehnical description of the construction, calculation of the main span girders as well as characteristic construction plans.

U radu je prikazan glavni projekt nadvožnjaka preko autoceste. Nadvožnjak se sastoji od dva jednaka raspona (17 m) i polumontažne izvedbe. Stup između dva polja projektiran je kao ''V'' stup. Niveleta nadvožnjaka je oko 8.8 m iznad nivelete autoceste tako da ima dosta prostora za slobodan profil ispod nadvožnjaka. Projekt sadrži proračun uzdužnog, poprečnog nosača i stupa, te karakteristične građevinske nacrte i tehnički opis., This paper presents the main design of the overpass above highway. The structure is semi prefabricated and it consist of two equal span (17 m). middle pier is V- shapped. Elevation of the overpass is cca. 8.8 m above highway elevation and therefore leaves enough space for traffic beneath the overpass. The work includes the calculation of the longitudinaly, transversely span griders and column, and characteristic construction plans as well as technical description of the construction.
