An accuracy synthesis approach for a 2UPS & UPR & UP parallel robot is proposed. Based on the nominal kinematic equations, an error mapping model of the robot is established using the perturbation method, and the compensable and uncompensable geometric error sources are sorted out. The standard deviation relationship between the uncompensable error sources and the terminal attitude errors is established to reveal the standard deviation distribution of the terminal attitude error in the workspace. A sensitivity analysis of the uncompensable error sources is carried out to determine the influence of each uncompensable geometric error source on the terminal accuracy. According to the 3σ principle, the sensitivity index is taken as the allocation coefficient, and the values of the uncompensable error sources under the given terminal accuracy are obtained through the accuracy synthesis. The proposed approach can provide a theoretical basis for the manufacturing of the robot, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulation.

Vibration signal diagnosis and analysis plays an important role in the industrial machinery since it enhances the machinery performance under supervision. The information regarding the future condition is given by vibration diagnosis techniques which is growing interest for the scientific and industrial communities. Information for failure diagnostic and prediction are provided by the motor vibration through signal processing. The development of mechanical systems fault prognosis and in the last decades, research is done at a very rapid rate. The examination of vibration signal monitoring is done in this paper with the aid of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and Cloud Technology (CT). The machines maintenance strategies are implemented by using the data collected from machines which are based on the fault prognosis. The cloud computing platform is presented in this paper which is having three layers and the unlabelled data is received to generate an interpreted online decision. Feature extraction of the vibration signal is obtained in terms of range, mean value, root mean square value, and standard deviation and crest values. The performance of the model is evaluated by utilizing the classical statistical metrics such as RMSE Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of the vibration signal. It is obtained that the proposed technique is 25% and 90% better than the Adaptive Neurofuzzy Inference System and the Single Modeling System respectively in terms of RMSE. The performance in terms of MAPE, then the proposed technique outperforms the existing Adaptive Neurofuzzy Inference System and the Single Modeling System by 8 % and 60% respectively. The presented technique is better than the existing Adaptive Neurofuzzy Inference System and the Single Modeling techniques by average of 15% and 30 % respectively.

Stainless steel 441 was oxidized in water vapor containing atmospheres at 1,000 °C to study the contrary effects of water vapor on the oxidization process. The steel in 3.5 vol. % H2O containing atmosphere exhibited an relatively strong protective behavior. The reason was that the densification of the chromium oxide scale was promoted due to the sintering of the oxide grains via Cr-containing species vapor. But the oxidation of the steel in 11.5 ~ 15.6 vol. % H2O containing atmosphere followed a non-protective breakaway oxidation due to the breakage of the dense scale by “bubbles” and the formation of iron-rich oxides layer. Experimental result shows that the growth stress increased about 2 GPa during the first 70 ks in wet oxidizing atmosphere. The relatively slow increase of the oxides scale growth stress could be release in water vapor containing atmosphere.

In order to supply data to the signal processing study of spaceborne InSAR system,the interferometric signal simulation was studied.At first the geometric model,backscattering model and signal model needed by the simulation was analyzed.Using these models the simulation process was given.Then the relationship between facet number and correlation coefficient was analyzed.The analysis shows that by using right facet number the simulated signal can inter-fere and the correlation coefficient can near its theoretic value.Simulated results can validate this method.

Abstract Background An antibody with cross-reactivity can create unexpected side effects or false diagnostic reports if used for clinical purposes. ERCC1 is being explored as a predictive diagnostic biomarker for cisplatin-based chemotherapy. High ERCC1 expression is linked to drug resistance on cisplatin-based chemotherapy. 8F1 is one of the most commonly used monoclonal antibodies for evaluating ERCC1 expression levels in lung cancer patient tissues, but it has been noted that this antibody cross-reacts with an unknown protein. Results By using a high density protein microarray chip technology, we discovered that 8F1 not only reacts with its authentic target, ERCC1, but also cross-reacts with an unrelated nuclear membrane protein, PCYT1A. The cross-reactivity is due to a common epitope presented on these two unrelated proteins. Similar to the subcellular localization of ERCC1, IHC tests demonstrated that PCYT1A is localized mainly on nuclear membrane. In this study, we also discovered that the PCYT1A gene expression level is significantly higher than the ERCC1 gene expression level in a certain population of lung cancer patient tissue samples. To develop the best monoclonal antibody for ERCC1 IHC analysis, 18 monoclonal antibodies were generated and 6 of them were screened against our protein microarray chip. Two clones showed high mono-specificity on the protein microarray chip test and both worked for the IHC application. Conclusion In summary, the 8F1 clone is not suitable for ERCC1 IHC assay due to its cross-reactivity with PCYT1A protein. Two newly generated monoclonal antibodies, 4F9 and 2E12, demonstrated ultra-specificity against ERCC1 protein and superior performance for IHC analyses.

Recent studies have shown that the source of soil carbon(C) includes not only the input of crop C(rhizodeposit- and residue-C) to soil organic C(SOC) but also the contribution of soil autotrophic microorganisms to SOC and the fixation of soil inorganic C(SIC) from the soil inorganic chemical pathway and microbial biomineralization pathway. The level of SOC in croplands is mainly controlled by the balance between the input of crop C and the loss of SOC via decomposition. In the short term, the input of crop C usually promotes the SOC decomposition, showing a positive(rhizosphere) priming effect. We analyzed the literature on the rhizosphere priming effect of major crops and the priming effect of straw additions and found that they were on average 75% and 67%, respectively. The residual straw C in the soil could completely compensate for the SOC loss caused by the priming effect of straw returning. In croplands, rhizodeposit- and residue-C often coexisted, which resulted in at least three C sources(rhizodeposit-, straw-, and soil-C) for soil C input and output. Finally, we proposed a new method to distinguish the contribution of multiple C sources to the CO 2 emission and the SOC input in rhizosphere soils, as well as the contribution of inorganic chemistry and microbial pathways to the SIC input in calcareous soils. This review is helpful to improve the understanding of the input and output pathways of SOC and SIC in croplands and to improve the accuracy of soil C assessment in croplands.

The aim of the study was to investigate the effects of the rhGM-CSF gel on third-degree frostbite wounds. Sixty-two patients who had suffered third-degree frostbite on their hand or foot (91 wounds in total) were selected using a convenience sampling method and randomly allocated to two groups: the rhGM-CSF group(31patients,45 frostbite wounds) received the rhGM-CSF gel when wound dressing change daily; however, the control group (31patients, 46 frostbite wounds) received aloe glue. The wound healing time, the score of inflammation about the wound and the positive bacterial culture of wound secretions were used to measure outcomes, respectively. Data were analyzed using SPSS (25.0), Student's t test or Mann-Whitney U test and chi-square test or Fisher exact test were selected, as appropriate. The healing time of the rhGM-CSF group was (12.2 ± 5.0) days, which was significantly shorter than that of the control group (15.5 ± 4.7) days (P < .0001). The rhGM-CSF group's wound inflammation scores on the 7th and 14th day of treatment were (0.96 ± 0.21) and (1.88 ± 0.29), respectively, which were better than those of the control group (1.12 ± 0.24) and (1.38 ± 0.15) (both P < .0001). The positive bacterial culture of wound secretions in the rhGM-CSF group was also better than that in the control group on the 3rd, 7th, and 14th day after treatment (P = .027, .004, .030, respectively). According to the results, using rhGM-CSF gel considerably increases the speed of frostbite wounds healing, and have an effect on protecting third-degree frostbite wounds regarding the positive effects. Introduction and Objectives: Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) clearance, indicating functional cure or resolved chronic hepatitis B (CHB), remains difficult to achieve via nucleos(t)ide analogue monotherapy. We investigated whether metformin add-on therapy could help achieve this goal in entecavir-treated patients with hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg)-negative CHB., Patients and Methods: Patients with HBeAg-negative CHB who met eligibility criteria (entecavir treatment for &gt; 12 months, HBsAg &lt; 1000 IU/mL) were randomly assigned (1:1) to receive 24 weeks of either metformin (1000 mg, oral, once a day) or placebo (oral, once a day) add-on therapy. The group allocation was blinded for both patients and investigators. Efficacy and safety analyses were based on the intention-to-treat set. The primary outcome, serum HBsAg level (IU/mL) at weeks 24 and 36, was analysed using mixed models., Results: Sixty eligible patients were randomly assigned to the metformin (n = 29) and placebo (n = 31) groups. There was no substantial between-group difference in the HBsAg level at week 24 (adjusted mean difference 0.05, 95% confidence interval -0.04 to 0.13, p = 0.278) or week 36 (0.06, -0.03 to 0.15, p = 0.187), and no significant effect of group-by-time interaction on the HBsAg level throughout the trial (p = 0.814). The occurrence of total adverse events between the two groups was comparable (9 [31.0%] of 29 vs. 5 [16.1%] of 31, p = 0.227) and no patient experienced serious adverse events during the study., Conclusion: Although it was safe, metformin add-on therapy did not accelerate HBsAg clearance in entecavir-treated patients with HBeAg-negative CHB., Competing Interests: Conflicts of interest FSW has received a grant from the Innovative Research Group Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. The root canal systems of maxillary second molar (MSM) variations are complicated, especially the prevalence of fused roots and consequent merged and C-shaped canals, which represent a clinical challenge because canal configurations can be irregular and unpredictable. The purpose of this article was to present 2 cases with a C-shaped configuration diagnosed during root canal retreatment and perform a literature review of this MSM anatomy. Case 1 reports that two palatal root canals fused into a C-shaped configuration that finally formed an apical foramen, which was classified as Type D. Case 2 reflects the fusion of the distobuccal canal and palatal canal into a C-shaped configuration and the configuration was Type C, which was first reported in a case report. Nonsurgical retreatments were proposed and conducted. Evaluation at a 24-month recall revealed that the two patients were symptom-free, and radiographic examination revealed normal periapical tissue. This report serves to remind clinicians of the complexities of the root canal system and that possible anatomic variation should always be anticipated when formulating an effective root canal treatment plan. The use of CBCT imaging coupled with an operative dental microscope will be helpful in locating and identifying supernumerary canals when a preoperative periapical radiograph shows signs of a fused-rooted MSM., Competing Interests: The authors declare no conflict of interest., (© 2022 The Author(s).)

Dental caries and pulpal diseases are common oral bacterial infectious diseases, the prevention and treatment of these diseases require the control of the causative pathogens, such as Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans) and Enterococcus faecalis. As a cationic antimicrobial peptide, Chrysophsin-3 has broad-spectrum bactericidal activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria which may cause a variety of oral infectious diseases. The present study evaluated the potential of chrysophsin-3 against several oral pathogens and S.mutans biofilms. The cytotoxic activity of chrysophsin-3 against human gingival fibroblasts (HGFs) was investigated for potential oral application. We use minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC), minimal bactericidal concentration (MBC) and time-kill assay to evaluate the killing effect of chrysophsin-3. Then scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) were used to analyze the change of morphology and membrane of the pathogens, Live/Dead staining and confocal scanning laser microscopy (CSLM) was used to observe S. mutans biofilms. The results indicate that chrysophsin-3 has varying antimicrobial activities against different oral bacteria. Chrysophsin-3 did not cause obvious cytotoxicity in HGFs at concentrations of 32-128 μg/ml for 5 min or 8 μg/ml for 60 min. SEM revealed membranous blebs and pore formation on the bacterial cell surface, and TEM showed loss of the nucleoid and dissolution of the cytoplasmic space. Furthermore, the CSLM images indicate that chrysophsin-3 can reduce the viability of the cells within the biofilms significantly and had a comparatively lethal effect against S. mutans biofilms. Taken together, our finding suggests that chrysophsin-3 has potential clinical application in oral infectious disease, especially in preventing and treating dental caries.

The adjustment of the C/N ratio by straw combined with fertilizer nitrogen (N) not only affects straw decomposition but also affects soil organic carbon (SOC) decomposition, i.e. the priming effects. Therefore, it is doubly important to study how the ratios of straw to N fertilizer influence the release of endogenous and exogenous C for greenhouse gas emission reduction and soil fertility improvement. We conducted a 32-week laboratory incubation experiment with 13 C labeled maize straw under different N levels in farmland soil collected from fields in Huantai County to investigate the effect of the ratios of straw to N fertilizer on straw decomposition and the priming effects. Four treatments were set up, including CK, corn straw (S), corn straw+low urea rates (SN1), and corn straw+high urea rates (SN2). Dynamic sampling was conducted during the early stage (0-10 d), the middle stage (11-43 d), and the later stage (44-224 d) of straw decomposition. The approach was based on using a two-source mixing model to differentiate two sources of soil CO 2 (straw and soil-derived C). With an increase in the incubation time, the contribution of SOC decomposition to soil CO 2 emissions first decreased and then increased. On the contrary, the contribution of straw mineralization to soil CO 2 emissions first increased and then decreased. By the end of the incubation time, the contribution of SOC and straw decomposition to soil CO 2 emissions was 0.84-0.86 and 0.14-0.16, respectively. Over the whole incubation period, the effects of N fertilization on straw decomposition first increased and then decreased. The promotion degree of high and low N fertilization on straw decomposition was up to 15.8% and 7.9%, respectively. Over the whole incubation period, the inhibition degree of low N fertilization reached up to 7.1%, while high N fertilization showed a slight promotion trend of 0.7%. Therefore, the regulation of C:N by straw combined with fertilizer N not only affected the contribution of exogenous straw to SOC but also influenced the decomposition of endogenous SOC, and then influenced soil C fixation. Over the whole incubation period, straw C retention could not compensate for CO 2 released by the priming effects, which led to a net loss of SOC.

Objective: To explore the effects of recombinant human granulocyte macrophage colony stimulating factor (rhGM-CSF) gel on treatment of thefull-thickness frostbite wounds on foot and hand. Methods: From November 2013 to April 2017, a total of 45 patients of 71 full-thickness frostbite wounds on foot and hand meeting the inclusion criteria were admitted to the First Hospital of Jilin University and the prospective randomized controlled study was done. The patients were divided into rhGM-CSF group of 24 patients with 35 wounds and control group of 21 patients with 36 wounds according to the random number table. There were 20 males and 4 females, aged (38±13) years among patients in rhGM-CSF group, and there were 19 males and 2 females, aged (36±14) years among patients in control group. Patients in 2 groups were performed with the same systemic treatment of rewarming, anti-inflammation, pain relief, anti-infection, anti-coagulation, and thrombolysis. Wounds of patients in rhGM-CSF group and control group were respectively treated with rhGM-CSF gel and aloe vera gel for external usage with 10 mg for every square centimeter and dressing change once every 24 hours, until wounds healed completely. The wound inflammatory response was scored on treatment day (TD) 1, 3, 7, 14, wound secretion was collected for bacteria culture and positive bacteria detection rate was calculated before treatment and on TD 6 and 12, adverse drug reaction after drug use was observed, and the complete wound healing time was recorded. Data were processed with Fisher's exact probability test, analysis of variance for repeated measurement, t test, and Bonferroni correction. Results: The scores of wound inflammatory response of patients in 2 groups on TD 1 and 3 were close ( t =0.37, 2.93, P >0.05). The scores of wound inflammatory response of patients on TD 7 and 14 in rhGM-CSF group were significantly higher than those in control group ( t =5.77, 5.83, P <0.01). The results of bacteria culture of wound secretion of patients in 2 groups before treatment were negative. The positive bacteria detection rates of wound secretion of patients in rhGM-CSF group on TD 6 and 12 were 5.71% (2/35) and 22.86% (8/35), which were slightly lower than 13.89% (5/36) and 30.56%(11/36) in control group respectively, but there was no significantly statistical difference ( P >0.05). No adverse drug response occurred in patients in rhGM-CSF group, while 1 patient in control group had adverse drug response, with symptoms of redness and swelling of wounds and patchy erythema on skin around wounds, which were alleviated by irrigating with normal saline. The complete wound healing time of patients in rhGM-CSF was (12.3±0.5) d, which was significantly shorter than (16.5±0.8) d in control group ( t =24.89, P <0.05). Conclusions: The topical rhGM-CSF gel has effects of shortening time of wound healing and reducing inflammatory response of wound on treatment of full-thickness frostbite wounds on foot and hand, which is safe in clinical application.

Evaluating the allocation of carbon (C) photosynthesized by winter wheat belowground is essential for C sequestration in soil and crop production. During the four growth stages of winter wheat, i. e., tillering, elongation, anthesis, and grain-filling, the method of 13 CO 2 pulse-labeling for the wheat was adopted. Destructive samplings were undertaken at 28 d after each labeling and the total C and 13 C contents of shoots, roots, soil, and rhizosphere respiration were determined. Results showed that the majority of the fixed 13 C was recovered in the aboveground (straw and grain), ranging from 51.6% to 90.8% in all growth stages. The allocation of 13 C photosynthesized belowground (roots, soil, and rhizosphere respiration) decreased as the wheat growth advanced, while the 13 C transferred to the aboveground increased. Of the total 13 C input belowground, 22.9%-65.3% was respired by the rhizosphere, 24.3%-59.3% remained in the roots, and 10.4%-17.8% was incorporated into the soil organic carbon by rhizodeposition. Respired 13 C within the last 2 d of the whole chase period (28 d) only accounted for 0.7%-2.7% of the total respired 13 C, indicating that 28 days were long enough to ensure a complete distribution of photosynthesized C within all the wheat and soil pools. For the whole growth season of winter wheat, the photosynthesized C allocated aboveground, to roots, soil organic carbon, and rhizosphere respiration was 78.5%, 6.0%, 3.1%, and 12.4% of the net assimilated C, respectively. Based on local wheat production, the total C transferred belowground was quantified as 1.72 t·hm -2 , with 0.99 t·hm -2 respired as rhizosphere respiration, 0.48 t·hm -2 retained in roots, and 0.25 t·hm -2 incorporated into soil organic carbon.

Ammonium dihydric phosphate (NH4H2PO4), palladium chloride, nickelous nitrate and magnesium nitrate were used as modifiers respectively, to directly detect lead in grape wine with graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry(GFAAS). The results showed that NH4H2PO4 might be the best modifier. It was found that the organic matter in grape wine interfere with the determination. To remove the interference and detect lead directly with GFAAS, not only did samples need to be diluted with 4 to 10 times sample volumes of de-ionized water, but also the standard addition method was used. The method had good precision and accuracy when concentration of lead was above 10 micrograms.L-1, the relative standard deviations of lead were between -5.4% and 6.2%.

The sulfite fiber optic biosensor developed herein is based on the enzymatic oxidation reaction of sulfite catalyzed by sulfite oxidase (SOD). The consumption of O(2) is measured with an O(2) fiber optic sensor which monitors the fluorescence quenching of the indicator, perylene, by molecular oxygen. Perylene is immobilized into a polymer matrix and attached to the end of a fiber bundle forming an O(2) sensor. The enzyme, sulfite oxidase is immobilized on a pre-activated membrane and mounted onto the O(2) sensor. Several analytical characteristics of this sulfite biosensor were investigated including dynamic range, reversibility, reproducibility, stability and selectivity. The sulfite contents of various food samples, e.g. dried fruits, potato flakes, lemon juice were determined and the results obtained were in good agreement with the standard AOAC method.

We have tried to use 1.2 cm x 5 cm (6 cm2) adhesive cellophane tape technique for quantitative detection of Demodex. 618 mites were detected on the 24 tapes applied on various parts of the face of a healthy individual. In an investigation of 8 person-times, the numbers of mites found on various parts of the face were in the following order: upper-cheek (233), mid-cheek (153), lower-cheek (114), chin (78), forehead (59.5), nose (55), infraorbital (54.5), paraoral (49.5), nasal groove (45), mites found on other parts being negligible. Demodex brevis were found scattering singly on the tapes, while D. follicutorum were found 1-6 in number in one or several follicles. All of them were in the follicle opening, indicating that transmission was readily affected through direct or indirect contacts. The results also showed that when a large number of mites were sticked off, the intensity of infestation was decreased.
