1. Evaluation of the development effect of polydynamic drive in Class IIB oil reservoir of Lamadian Oilfield

Abstract

With the continuous deepening of oilfield development, the target of oilfield development is gradually shifting towards reservoirs with poor physical properties, and polymer flooding can better utilize such reservoirs.The heterogeneity of Class II B oil layer in Lamadian Oilfield is severe, and polymer flooding takes effect later, with a small decrease in watercut.A study was conducted on the evaluation of polymer flooding development effectiveness for Class II B oil layers through reservoir numerical simulation . Research has shown that when the initial watercut is constant, a lower injection pressure can increase the utilization degree of remaining oil in the middle and high permeability layers of Class II B oil layers. With the increase of injection pressure, the response time is shortened, and the decrease in watercut is reduced; As the watercut increases, the injection pressure should gradually increase in order to improve the recovery of low permeability reservoirs;As the watercut increases, the injection pressure should gradually increase in order to improve the recovery of low permeability oil layers;At a watercut of 95% and injection pressure of 7MPa, a field experiment was conducted with a molecular weight polymer of 12 million , and the response time was 6 months. The cumulative oil increase was 14675m3, achieving good polymer flooding effect.

12. Effect of statin therapy on the progression of coronary atherosclerosis

Abstract

Abstract Background An increasing number of authors employing intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and virtual histology (VH-IVUS) have investigated the effect of statin use on plaque volume (PV) and plaque composition. However, inconsistent results have been reported. Therefore, we conducted a meta-analysis to determine the appropriate regimen of statins to effectively stabilize vulnerable coronary plaques. Methods Online electronic databases were carefully searched for all relevant studies. We compared mean values of PV and plaque composition between baseline and follow-up in patients receiving statin therapy. We pooled treatment effects and calculated mean differences (MD) with the 95% confidence interval (CI) using a random-effects model. By stratified analyses, we explored the influence of clinical presentation, dose and duration of statin treatment, and low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) levels on the effects of statins. Results Seventeen studies involving 2,171 patients were analyzed. Statin therapy significantly decreased PV (−5.3 mm3; 95% CI: –3.3 mm3 to −7.2 mm3; P < 0.001), without heterogeneity. When considering the dose and duration of statins used, only subgroups employing a high dose and long duration demonstrated a significant reduction in PV (p < 0.001). A significant decrease in PV was noted if achieved LDL-C levels were p < 0.001). Statin treatment could induce a twofold decrease in PV in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) compared with that observed in patients with stable angina pectoris (SAP). A regressive trend was seen for necrotic core volume (MD: –2.1 mm3; 95% CI: –4.7 mm3 to 0.5 mm3, P = 0.11). However, statin use did not induce a significant change for fibrotic, fibro-fatty, or dense calcium compositions. Abstract

Arhopalus unicolor is a carrier of the pine wood nematode (PWN), which causes pine wilt disease, killing pine trees and causing considerable economic and environmental losses. While the A. unicolor mitochondrial genome has been published, a high-quality genome assembly and annotation of A. unicolor is not yet available. To address this, we assembled a chromosome-level reference genome assembly of A. unicolor with a combination of Illumina, PacBio, and Hi-C sequencing technologies. The final genome size was determined to be 1268.11 Mb, with a GC% of 32.44%, and the scaffold N50 value was 19.30 Mb. A total of 98.77% of the assembled sequences mapped to 10 pseudochromosomes, and BUSCO analysis revealed high completeness, with 97.15% gene coverage. Furthermore, the genome contains 71.74% repeat elements and encompasses 16,450 predicted protein-coding genes. This genome sequence of A. unicolor will be a valuable resource for understanding the genetics and evolutionary history of this species and for developing effective management strategies for this PWN carrier. Abstract

Formulating a scientifically sound and efficient approach to allocating carbon quota aligned with the carbon peaking goal is a fundamental theoretical and practical challenge within the context of climate-oriented trading in the power sector. Given the highly irrational allocation of carbon allowances in China's power sector, as well as the expanding role of renewable energy, it is essential to rationalize the use of green energy in the development of carbon reduction in the power sector. This study addresses the risk of "carbon transfer" within the power industry and develops a predictive model for CO2 emission based on multiple influential factors, thereby proposing a carbon quota distribution scheme adapted to green energy growth. The proposed model employs a hybrid of the gray forecasting model-particle swarm optimization-enhanced back-propagation neural network (GM-PSO-BPNN) for forecasting and allocating the total carbon quota. Assuming consistent total volume control through 2030, carbon quota is distributed to regional power grids in proportion to actual production allocation. Results indicate that the PSO algorithm mitigates local optimization constraints of the standard BP algorithm; the prediction error of carbon emissions by the combined model is significantly smaller than that of the single model, while its identification accuracy reaches 99.46%. With the total national carbon emissions remaining unchanged in 2030, in the end, the regional grids received the following quota values: 873.29 million tons in North China, 522.69 million tons in Northwest China, 194.15 million tons in Northeast China, 1283.16 million tons in East China, 1556.40 million tons in Central China, and 1085.37 million tons in the Southern Power Grid.
