The construct of "learning potential" has been proposed to capture differences between learner independent performance and performance during Dynamic Assessment (DA). This paper introduces a new LPS formula implemented in a DA study involving Pakistani learners of L2 Chinese. Learners were randomly assigned to a control or experimental group and administered a pre-, post-, and more difficult transfer test, each focused on verb-resultative constructions. Use of the new learning potential score (LPS) formula allowed for greater differentiation of learner trajectories.

In order to solve the problems in the design of HFETR spent fuel storage rack, such as slow iterative design speed, long seismic analysis time and difficult multirack analysis, a combination of parameterization method and superelement method was proposed to analyze the HFETR spent fuel storage rack. Firstly, a finite element model for seismic analysis of HFETR spent fuel storage rack was established based on superelement method, and the calculation accuracy of the superelement model was verified by modal analysis. Then, APDL program and VB platform were used to parameterize the establishment and calculation of the finite element model of the rack, and the special analysis interface of the rack was established. Through this interface, the size and boundary conditions of the rack can be quickly modified, and the finite element model, analysis type and background calculation can be established quickly, which simplifies the modeling and analysis process of the iterative design of the rack. Finally, the multi-rack seismic analysis of HFETR spent fuel storage rack was carried out by using time-history analysis method. Two seismic working conditions (OBE and SSE) and three loading conditions (full load, half load and no load) were taken into account, altogether six combinations. In this paper, the performance of stress, slip and dumping of HFETR spent fuel storage rack under six combinations was analyzed. The results show that the stress of the rack meets the requirements under the six conditions, and the maximum stress of the base is generated under the condition of half load and SSE. In the six conditions, the slip displacement of the rack is small and no collision will occur. The slip amplitude of the rack is full load, half load and no load from small to large. In other words, the slip amplitude of the rack tends to decrease with the increase of the loading capacity of the spent fuel assembly. The designed rack will not topple under the six conditions. The dumping limit of the rack is the minimum at half load, and the height of the jump is the maximum at half load in the earthquake, so the possibility of the toppling is the maximum at half load in the earthquake, and the half load should be paid more attention to in the analysis of the toppling of the rack. In general, the seismic performance of the designed HFETR rack meets the requirements. The parameterizationsuperelement method can be applied to the seismic analysis of multiple racks and provide convenience for the iterative design of spent fuel storage racks.

Objective To compare the secretion of cytokines from human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells （UC-MSCs） and placenta-derived mesenchymal stem cells （P-MSCs）. Methods UC-MSCs and P-MSCs were isolated and cultured. Cell surface antigens of MSCs were measured using flow cytometry. The adipogenic and osteogenic differentiation capability was analyzed by Oil red O, Von Kossa staining and Alizarin red S staining. The conditioned medium was collected and the expression of cytokines was detected by microarray. Microarray assay results were validated by ELISA and RT-PCR. Results UC-MSCs and P-MSCs had similar surface markers,adipogenic and osteogenic differentiation capacity. Both UC-MSCs and P-MSCs highly expressed insulin-like growth factor-binding protein （IGFBP）-3, IGFBP-4 and IGFBP-6, tissue inhibitor of metallo proteinase （TIMP）-1 and TIMP-2, IL-6, TGF-β1, hepatocyte growth factor, monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 and human intercellular adhesion molecule-1, whereas lowly expressed epidermal growth factor, IL-17, IL-12p40,B lymphocyte chemoattractant, tumor necrosis factor-β （TNF-β）, IL-13, MIP-1δ, Eotaxin-2, IL-12p70 and platelet-derived growth factor-BB. Compared with UC-MSCs,P-MSCscontained five differentially-expressed proteins including TNF receptorⅡ, stem cell factor, nerve growth factor receptor, TGF-β3 and IL-1β. The results of ELISA and RT-PCR were consistent with themicroarray protein data. Conclusion UC-MSCs and P-MSCs have similar surface markers, osteogenic and adipogenic differentiation capacity and cytokine profile.

Background Community-based clinical teaching is of vital importance in the training of medical undergraduates, but high level of effectiveness of teaching is difficult to be guaranteed at present. So it is essential to establish a scientific and effective system for assessing the effectiveness of community-based clinical teaching for medical undergraduates. Objective To develop an effectiveness assessment system of community-based clinical teaching for medical undergraduates, providing support for assessing the effectiveness of community-based clinical teaching in these undergraduates. Methods The item pool for the system used for assessing the effectiveness of community-based clinical teaching in medical undergraduates was developed on the basis of reviewing relevant literature and assessment tools, and was drawn up by group discussions. Then the items were improved according to two rounds of Delphi consultation with a purposive sample of 32 relevant experts from June 2019 to April 2020, and used to develop the Effectiveness Assessment System of Community-based Clinical Teaching for Medical Undergraduates (EASCCTMU) . The Analytic Hierarchy Process was used to calculate the weight of each indicator. Results The response rate was 100.0% for both rounds of consultation. The authoritative coefficients for the first and second rounds of consultation were 0.87 and 0.88, respectively. Cuproptosis, a newly discovered cell death modality, is gaining recognition for its crucial role in antitumor therapy. Here, we demonstrated that Ferredoxin 1 (FDX1), a key gene involved in cuproptosis, is negatively correlated with malignancy and T‐cell exhaustion in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Based on these findings, we developed near‐infrared (NIR) light‐controlled nanoparticles (NPs), CuD@PM, which can selectively deliver copper to HNSCC cells and induce cuproptosis in the presence of microneedles loaded with triacetylated azacitidine (TAc‐AzaC) and 808 nm laser irradiation. Intravenous administration of these NPs significantly suppressed tumor growth in HNSCC animal models and enhanced the antitumor immune response. The NIR‐controlled activation of cuproptosis offers great potential as a safe, targeted, and image‐guided antitumor therapy for HNSCC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The lower hook mechanism has the characteristics of long motion path, high moving speed and high external disturbance, significantly impacting the weaving efficiency of the fishing net weaving machine. The multi-motor-based lower hook mechanism exhibits higher moving speed and lesser cam wear compared with the traditional lower hook mechanism, but it requires a high-precision and high-robust control system. In this study, we established a dynamic model for the multi-motor lower hook mechanism using the Lagrange equation. Based on this model, we developed a control system using linear extended state observer (LESO) and piecewise integral terminal sliding mode controller (PITSMC). By introducing a piecewise integral sliding surface, PISMC solved the slow convergence issue of linear sliding surfaces and the singularity problem of integral terminal sliding surfaces. Simulation results for the multi-motor-based lower hook mechanism demonstrate that the proposed PISMC outperforms the nonsingular terminal sliding mode controller and the conventional integral sliding mode controller in terms of control precision and disturbance rejection capability. Aims: The morbidity and mortality of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) continue to increase with the accelerating global aging process. During the past decade, the pathophysiology, diagnostic methods, and prognostic prediction of HFpEF have been revolutionized, resulting in new and effective management strategies. Dynamic prognostic assessment facilitates systematic clinical management of patients, and the aim of this study was to investigate the risk factors for mortality in patients with HFpEF and to develop a risk prediction assessment model. Methods and reults: Data for the derivation cohort were obtained from three databases, PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane. The validation cohort was obtained from the Chinese Heart Failure Center database. The β‐coefficient was calculated based on the risk ratio (RR) and 95% confidence intervals (CI) corresponding to each risk factor to construct a mortality risk assessment model. A total of 30 studies were included in the meta‐analysis: 22 prospective cohort studies and 8 retrospective cohort studies, including 34 196 HFpEF patients. Seven predictors of all‐cause mortality in HFpEF patients were derived. Considering the need for feasibility in clinical practice, we performed subgroup and sensitivity analyses and determined the following cutoff values: age > 75 years (RR: 2.07, 95% CI: 1.83–2.35; P < 0.001), male sex (RR: 1.36, 95% CI: 1.17–1.59; P < 0.001), DM (RR: 1.23, 95% CI: 1.11–1.36; P < 0.001), anaemia (RR: 1.53, 95% CI: 1.41–1.67; P < 0.001), albumin concentration < 3.2 g/dL (RR: 1.29, 95% CI: 1.14–1.47; P < 0.001), AF (RR: 1.27, 95% CI: 1.12–1.43; P < 0.001), and NYHA class III/IV (RR: 1.63, 95% CI: 1.43–1.87; P < 0.001). The area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve (AUC) for this model was 71.3% (95% CI: 0.696–0.736), with an optimal cut‐off value of 10.75. The sensitivity and specificity were 0.778 and 0.566, respectively. According to this risk score, we divided patients into three risk classes (low, moderate, and high risk), the numbers of patients who died by the end of the 1‐year follow‐up were 23 (1.87%), 82 (5.62%), and 382 (15.52%) in these three groups, and the 5‐year mortality rates were 9.82%, 20.68%, and 43.28%, respectively. Conclusions: This study developed an HF‐DANAS scoring system for the HFpEF mortality risk containing seven predictors, providing clinicians with a simple assessment tool that can help improve clinical management.
