Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effect and mechanism of Liraglutide on high glucose-induced vascular endothelial cell injury. Methods Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were cultured and divided into 4 groups: control, high glucose stimulation (HG), Liraglutide, and Liraglutide + HG group. ELISA was used to detect the secretion of inflammatory cytokines in each group, kits the levels of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS), the activity of SOD2 and Gpx4,and the level of MDA, and Western blot and immun of luorescence method nuclear translocation of Nrf2. Results The HG groupexhibited a significantly higher levels of tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α), interleukin (IL-1), IL-6, as well as the levels of intracellular ROS and MDA, but less activity of SOD2 and Gpx4, less contents of NO, and less nuclear translocation of Nrf2, as compared with the control group. Compared with the HG group, the Liraglutide + HG grouppresented significantly higher levels of TNF-α, IL-1, and IL-6, but lower levels of intracellular ROS and MDA, less activities of SOD2 and Gpx4, less contents of NO and less nuclear translocation of Nrf2. Conclusion Liraglutide suppresses high glucose-induced endothelial cell injury by increasing the nuclear translocation of Nrf2. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Agricultural cultural heritage is crucial in advancing comprehensive rural revitalization. The Yangtze River Basin is rich in biodiversity and abundant in fishery cultural resources. The cultural resources not only reflect the ecological wisdom of harmonious coexistence and the human–land relationship between humans and nature but also provide critical cultural support for rural revitalization and watershed sustainable development. This study investigates the spatial distribution, influencing factors, and historical evolution of fishery cultural resources in the Yangtze River Basin. The highest proportions of significant resources are found in fishery engineering and landscapes, culinary flavors, fishery customs, dances, fishery gear, and poetry. By analyzing 14 categories of fishery cultural resources and 157 national and provincial intangible cultural heritage items, this study reveals a significant geographical clustering of these resources in the mid-lower reaches, particularly around the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and Poyang Lake Basin, Wuhan and Dongting Lake, and the lower reaches of the Taihu Lake Basin. This study underscores the role of natural geographical conditions, aquatic biodiversity, socio-economic factors, and historical–cultural backgrounds in the distribution and evolution of fishery cultural resources, with these factors interacting dynamically. By advocating for a comprehensive approach to coordinating fishery culture preservation with rural revitalization, this study outlines a multidimensional strategy for the preservation and sustainable development of fishery cultural resources. Asphalt pavement surface texture is the main factor affecting pavement function. Reconstruction of the asphalt pavement surface texture is needed to accurately reveal its evolutionary characteristics for pavement performance and quality evaluation. To reconstruct an optimised 3D model of the asphalt pavement surface texture and to study its evolutionary properties, digital image processing technique and accelerated pavement testing system were used. First, the asphalt pavement surface texture 3D model optimised by three camera parameters and their thresholds. Next, the accelerated pavement testing system simulated traffic loadings on dense-gradation asphalt mixtures to investigate the pavement surface texture evolution properties. Finally, predictive models are developed for the asphalt pavement surface texture evolution. Results show that the optimised pavement texture 3D model resembles actual pavement structure. The surface texture evolutionary characteristics of asphalt pavement can be divided into three periods and six stages. The evolution model can accurately characterise the evolution of the surface texture of asphalt pavement. Freshwater crabs play essential roles in the well-functioning of the inland aquatic ecosystems. However, due to the lack of sufficient molecular resources, the study of freshwater crabs has been greatly hindered. In this study, the mitochondrial genome of Huananpotamon koatenense, a freshwater crab endemic to China, was sequenced for the first time. This mitogenome sequence is 15,528 bp long, and contains 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA genes and 22 tRNA genes. Phylogenetic analyses based on 25 mitogenomes showed that H. koatenense was clustered with the known congeneric species of H. lichuanense. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Core–shell structured silicon carbide (SiC)/epoxy (EP) composites exhibit superior non–linear DC conductivity. However, the high voltage alternative current dielectric properties of the composites are rarely reported. In this paper, the time–domain measurement was employed to obtain the basic dielectric characteristics, AC conductivity, and relative permittivity of the SiC/EP and SiC@Al2O3/EP composites under less than the breakdown strength of the SiC/EP (i.e. the amplitude of 1–5 kV mm−1). In addition, in the high AC electric field (i.e. the amplitude of 6–20 kV mm−1), the non–linear AC dielectric properties of the SiC@Al2O3/EP composite are also investigated. The experimental results suggest that the SiC@Al2O3/EP composite shows more obvious non–linear AC dielectric properties than the SiC/EP composite. In the high AC electric field, the AC conductivity of the SiC@Al2O3/EP composite presents the relaxation phenomenon, which is attributed to the excitation field and its derivative. This work lays a foundation for further research on the AC steady–state and transient dielectric properties of the field grading materials, which are widely used to homogenize the nonuniform electric field distribution in many electrical and electronic equipment. High efficiency thermal insulation materials are highly desirable in aerospace industry, whereas combining low density and low thermal conductivity of thermal insulation materials still remains a challenge. In this work, a series of fluorinated polyimide foams (PIFs) based on 4,4‐(hexafluoroisopropylidene) diphthalic anhydride (6FDA) were successfully prepared by microwave‐assisted powder foaming. The modification of fluorination decreased the melt strength while simultaneously enhanced the thermal properties of fluorinated PIFs through the high bonding energy of CF bond. Thus, fluorinated PIFs exhibited one of the lowest densities of reported PIFs, among them, the density of PIF6FDA‐DMBZ was as low as 9.34 kg m−3. The glass transition temperature of all fluorinated PIFs was greater than 295°C. Microwave‐assisted foaming optimized the cell structure effectively, resulting in the thermal conductivity of PIF6FDA‐ODA as low as 0.029 W m−1 K−1. The incorporation of hexafluoroisopropylidene groups reduced the polarization and enhanced the free volume of fluorinated PIFs, leading to hydrophobic characteristics (CA >105°) and ultra‐low dielectric loss properties (tan δ <0.001 at 20 GHz). PIF6FDA‐ODA demonstrated the most excellent comprehensive performance. The excellent comprehensive performance of fluorinated PIFs indicated their potential application as thermal insulation and wave‐transparent materials in aerospace, railway, and shipbuilding industries.
