An effective method capable of simultaneously providing antibacterial activity, blood glucose regulation, and angiogenesis promotion for healing bacteria‐infected diabetic wounds is not reported to date, but urgently required. In this study, a hydrogel composite (γ‐PGA/PDA/GOx/WOx (PPGW)), endowed with these desired attributes is fabricated by incorporating polydopamine (PDA), glucose oxidase (GOx), and tungsten oxide (WOx) nanowires into the poly(γ‐glutamic acid) (γ‐PGA) framework. The exceptional photothermal conversion properties of PDA facilitated notable antibacterial effects on bacteria‐infected diabetic wounds; GOx regulated high blood glucose by consuming glucose and generating hydrogen peroxide (H2O2); while WOx nanowires displayed remarkable photocatalytic abilities, converting H2O2 into oxygen (O2) when exposed to 808‐nm near‐infrared radiation. Density functional theory calculations and experiments are conducted to confirm the mechanism of WOx‐mediated photocatalytic degradation of H2O2 to produce O2. These transformations aided in alleviating the hypoxic conditions in wounds associated with diabetes, expediting angiogenesis, and fostering cell crawling and proliferation. Consequently, the multifunctional hydrogel dressing PPGW, featuring photothermal, antibacterial, and enzyme‐catalyzed activity reduces hyperglycemia at the wound site. Microbial induced calcium carbonate precipitation (MICP) technology has been widely used in the modification of cement-based materials to achieve self-healing of microcracks. Engineered cementitious composite (ECC) has the characteristic of fine and dense cracks under tension, and Bacillus pasteurii microorganisms were added to obtain selfhealing ECC based on MICP technology mechanism. The mechanical properties and self-healing properties of bacterial ECC were studied by uniaxial compressive, uniaxial tension, SEM and XRD tests. The results show that MICP technology makes that bacterial ECC has a good self-healing ability and restores mechanical property in some degree. After 28 d incubation and bioremediation, compressive strength of bacterial ECC recovers by 9.44%, ultimate tensile strength recovers by 15.4%, and tensile strain increases by 21.3%. The crack filler is calcium carbonate with vaterite morphology. This study aims to obtain a new type of bacterial ECC with strong self-healing ability based on the MICP technology mechanism. Plasmonic WO 3– x was firstly applied to photocatalytic alkylation of arenes under 660 nm red light irradiation. Oxygen vacancies in WO 3– x can extend light absorption range and enhance charge separation efficiency and surface oxygen vacancies can promote surface reaction kinetics via promoting chemisorption of alcohols on WO 3– x surface, which ensure the high activity and selectivity of photocatalytic alkylation over WO 3– x. In this study, plasmonic WO 3– x was firstly applied to photocatalytic alkylation of arenes under red light irradiation. The oxygen vacancies, both on the surface and in the bulk of WO 3– x , allow abundant free electrons to increase carrier densities and support its LSPR using low energy photons. The surface oxygen vacancies have more functions: they not only release surface tungsten sites which ensure the chemisorption of alcohols due to the coordianation ability but also promote the activation of alcohols via an efficient transport of the holes on the neighbouring O sites to chemisorption alcohol species. In brief, the bulk oxygen vacancies provide abundant charges and the surface vacancies promote the bond adsorption and activation abilities, which ensure the high efficiency of photocatalytic alkylation of C–H. In the translation of dialect dialogues from Chinese films into English, it is often seen that the elimination of non-standard features of the dialogues is a common practice, which inevitably results in the loss of the original dialectal information. Based on the methods in discourse analysis and the concept of information redundancy in the study of film as a multi-semiotic text, the paper proposes a dialect subtitling analytical framework to analyse what kinds of textual functions are lost due to the levelling effect, whether the information provided in the non-verbal channels of the film can completely compensate for the loss, and what translation solutions can be applied to better convey the information of Chinese dialect dialogues into English. Through the case study of Mountains May Depart, a film featuring the Fenyang dialect and Shanghainese, the paper categorizes the levelling effect of the English dialect subtitling into two groups: one shows information self-sufficiency within the multi-semiotic text, and the other embodies the need for compensation by using specific translation solutions.
