In recent years, extensive research has been conducted on the development of high-performance flexible tactile sensors, pursuing the next generation of highly intelligent electronics with diverse potential applications in self-powered wearable sensors, human–machine interactions, electronic skin, and soft robotics. Among the most promising materials that have emerged in this context are functional polymer composites (FPCs), which exhibit exceptional mechanical and electrical properties, enabling them to be excellent candidates for tactile sensors. Herein, this review provides a comprehensive overview of recent advances in FPCs-based tactile sensors, including the fundamental principle, the necessary property parameter, the unique device structure, and the fabrication process of different types of tactile sensors. Examples of FPCs are elaborated with a focus on miniaturization, self-healing, self-cleaning, integration, biodegradation, and neural control. Furthermore, the applications of FPC-based tactile sensors in tactile perception, human–machine interaction, and healthcare are further described. Finally, the existing limitations and technical challenges for FPCs-based tactile sensors are briefly discussed, offering potential avenues for the development of electronic products. Pulsed power systems require high-performance capacitors with high energy storage density. In this work, (1 − x)BaTiO3-xBi(Mg1/2Sn1/2)O3 ferroelectric ceramics were synthesized in a solid-state solution. The sample of x = 0.12 (0.88BT-0.12BMS) has excellent energy storage density, wide temperature, and wide frequency stability. The excellent energy density of 4.87 J/cm3 at 315 kV/cm and the energy efficiency of 72% at room temperature for 0.88BT-0.12BMS ceramics were achieved. Furthermore, the 0.88BT-0.12BMS ceramics demonstrated well temperature stabilities in the range of 20–100 °C and very good frequency stability in the range of 1–100 Hz. Through pulsed charging–discharging testing, the current density is calculated as 314.01 A/cm2, and the power density is 21.98 MW/cm3. Moreover, the oxygen vacancies' defects and ferroelectric domain mechanism for enhanced breakdown strength as well as high energy density were discussed. Electronic skin (E‐skin), especially the wearable sensors efficiently detect various stimuli attracted huge research interest owing to their potential applications in health monitoring and artificial intelligence. On the other hand, functional polymer composites possessing excellent properties such as light weight, good flexibility, and superior electrical performances, are promising candidates as building blocks for flexible electronics. Accordingly, tremendous efforts are devoted to the development of polymer composites with functional properties for E‐skin applications. Here, recent advances on the controlled fabrication of various fillers based functional polymer composites and their diverse applications in E‐skin are reviewed. In addition, contemporary studies on fabrication strategies, working mechanisms, and device performance for E‐skin based on the functional polymer composites are reviewed, including flexible pressure sensors, strain sensors, temperature sensors, energy harvesters, and transistors. Furthermore, the applications of functional composite based flexible electronics in healthcare and artificial intelligence are discussed. Nanomaterials based pressure sensors have obtained world‐wide research interest due to their promising potential applications in health monitoring, artificial intelligence, and electronic skin (e‐skin). Despite the recent progress in sensitivity and detection range of the pressure sensors, the relatively high thickness of the active films has obstructed their applications for e‐skin and degraded the comfortability as wearable devices. We hereby report for the first time a novel pressure sensor based on two‐dimensional metal oxide nanosheets where the gaps between neighboring nanosheets are adjustable. The pressure sensors show a sensitivity of up to 7.2 × 106 kPa–1, which is the highest value ever reported for a pressure sensor. Additionally, the sensor shows good repeatability and excellent stability. The pressure‐sensing ranges can be tuned by adjusting the coverage of the nanosheet film.
