Objective To investigate the clinical effect of lithium disilicate glass ceramic cantilever resin-bonded fixed partial dentures (CRBFPDs) on single anterior tooth loss to provide a reference for the selection of restoration methods for single anterior tooth loss. Methods This study was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee, and informed consent was obtained from the patients. Forty-two patients with less than two anterior teeth with monomaxillary loss were included in this study. After 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years, the aesthetic and functional effects of the restorations and the periodontal health status were evaluated, and the visual analog scale (VAS) was used to assess patient satisfaction. Results During the observation period, the connector fractured in one case within 3 months. One case had debonded within 2 years. The aesthetic restoration effect of all lithium disilicate glass ceramic CRBFPDs was categorized as Class A. The periodontal health was good, there was no clinical absorption in the soft and hard tissues of the abutment or subbridge, periodontal status according to the evaluation indices was classified as class A, and the total satisfaction rate of the patient was 100%. Conclusion For single anterior tooth loss patients, lithium disilicate glass ceramic cantilever resin-bonded fixed partial denture can achieve the restoration effect of less invasion, better adhesion, aesthetics, comfort and good biocompatibility. With high patient satisfaction, it can be considered an ideal restoration method for replacing a single anterior tooth.

The redclaw crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus) is a freshwater crayfish species endemic to northern Australia and Papua New Guinea that is the focus of a growing culture industry in number of regions around the world. Here we isolated and characterized 15 microsatellite loci from Cherax quadricarinatus and tested variability of the loci in 66 unrelated cultured individuals. Thirteen of 15 microsatellite loci were polymorphic. Number of alleles per locus ranged from two to seven while observed and expected heterozygosities ranged from 0.172 to 0.985 and from 0.373 to 0.778, respectively. Eleven loci conformed to Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium in the sampled population. These microsatellite loci developed here provide an important resource for studying genetic diversity and population structure in redclaw crayfish and potentially in other related species. Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the satisfaction levels of graduate residents in Guizhou Province and analyse the factors influencing their satisfaction., Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted using a simple random sampling method with all graduate residents from 24 hospitals in Guizhou Province. The survey covered the residents' demographic information, information about the training hospitals and satisfaction survey responses. Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS 29.0, including descriptive statistics using component ratios, binomial distribution tests for specific satisfaction situations, X 2 tests for between-group comparisons and binary logistic regression analyses to analyse the associations between residency satisfaction and related factors. The significance level was set at α=0.05., Results: The survey included 1070 graduate residents of Guizhou Province, China, including 500 males (46.7%) and 570 females (53.3%). The satisfaction questionnaire revealed that 23.8% were very satisfied; 45.4% were somewhat satisfied; and 26.4%, 2.3% and 2.1% were average, somewhat dissatisfied and very dissatisfied, respectively. Factors influencing residency satisfaction included gender, age, training base level, identity type, training participation year and average monthly income., Conclusion: Based on this study, the satisfaction of graduate residents in Guizhou Province, China, is relatively lower than that in other countries and provinces.
