Tandem solar cells combining perovskite and silicon have witnessed rapid development in recent years. However, the top cell, utilizing wide‐bandgap perovskite as absorbers generally suffer significant open‐circuit voltage (VOC) deficit, particularly for inorganic perovskite, which poses a considerable obstacle to enhancing the power conversion efficiency (PCE). Here, a modulation strategy by using 2,6‐pyridinedicarboxamide (PC), the crystallization kinetics of inorganic perovskite film can be effectively regulated, specifically manifested as a relatively longer annealing time in the air, resulting in sufficient growth for the inorganic perovskite grains. Additionally, PC can effectively in situ passivate uncoordinated Pb2+, suppressing the non‐radiative recombination of charge carriers. Eventually, a record PCE of 22.07% is achieved based on n–i–p inorganic perovskite solar cells (IPSCs), which also demonstrate the highest VOC above 1.34 V (1.71 eV of bandgap). More importantly, the unencapsulated IPSCs show enhanced thermal stability and photostability. Furthermore, the n–i–p IPSCs are also applied to inorganic perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells (IPTSCs), a PCE of 27.27% and an impressive VOC of 2.024 V are obtained. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In order to clarify effects of different fungal strains on fermented tiger nut paste enzyme activities and volatile flavor compounds composition, koji enzyme activities and volatile flavor substances of six tiger nut paste preparations (S1–S6) were compared. The results revealed that koji enzyme activities of S4, S5 and S6 were significantly higher than corresponding activities of S1, S2 and S3. Among them, S4 exhibited the highest enzyme activity levels for cellulase, xylanase, acid protease, glucosidase, and amylase. GC-MS analysis of the six paste preparations detected 43 volatile components, including 17 aldehydes, 8 alkenes, 4 heterocyclics, 2 ketones, 2 phenols and 7 other types of compounds. Notably, S4 had the most volatile compounds (28), including 5 volatile compounds which were not detected in the other tiger nut pastes. Results of principal component analysis and partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) revealed differences in levels of 17 volatile flavor substances among the six tiger nut paste preparations. Notably, PLS-DA results achieved more significant separation and stronger clustering trends when used to discriminate among volatile flavor substances of paste preparations fermented using single-strain starters (S1, S2, S3) versus double-strain starters (S4, S5, S6) consisting of Aspergillus oryzae, Aspergillus niger and/or Mucor. The tiger nut paste (S4) prepared by mixed fermentation of A. oryzae and A. niger had a unique flavor, producing the highest enzyme activity and a wider variety of volatile flavor compounds. The "theory of imbalance of the essence and tendon" is an innovative theory proposed by our team that is based on the academic ideas of Chinese medicine master Tang Youzhi and famous master Zhuang Zengyuan and combines years of clinical experience. "Essence" includes both innate essence and the essence of the five zang-organs and six fu-organs required for postnatal growth and development, respectively. "Tendon" refers to a complex of nerves, soft tissue, and connective tissue, which not only has characteristic features but also functions such as connection, support, nutrition, and protection. The reason why the eye can see things is that essence is its material foundation, and tendon is the functional guarantee. During the occurrence and development of myopia, the "imbalance of the essence and tendon" runs through the entire process and is the core link in the occurrence and development of myopia. The word "imbalance" not only includes the disruption of the steady state of the essence and tendon, but also carries the connotation of biological rhythm imbalance. Modern research suggests that biological rhythms play an important role in the occurrence and development of myopia. This article explores the relationship between the imbalance of essence and tendon and biological rhythms based on the "theory of imbalance of essence and tendon" and preliminarily proposes that the main treatment method for treating myopia is to replenish essence, soften tendon, benefit the head, and regulate the rhythm. Guiding the treatment of myopia with the "theory of imbalance of essence and tendon" helps to deeply understand the etiology and pathogenesis of myopia and broaden clinical diagnosis and treatment ideas. Introduction: Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a highly aggressive malignancy with a poor response to chemotherapy and an extremely poor prognosis. Recent studies have revealed that phospholysine phosphohistidine inorganic pyrophosphate phosphatase (LHPP) can inhibit the growth of various cancers. Therefore, the current study was conducted to investigate the antitumor effects of LHPP in PDAC and to explore its mechanism using proteomics analysis. Methods and Results: Immunohistochemical analysis of clinical samples demonstrated that LHPP expression levels were lower in tumor tissues compared to adjacent nontumor tissues. Moreover, multivariate COX regression analysis showed that LHPP expression level was an independent prognostic factor for the patients with PDAC. Patients with high LHPP expression had a better prognosis. The lentiviral vectors for normal control (NC), LHPP knockdown (KD), and LHPP overexpression (OE) were infected with BxPC-3 and PANC-1 cell lines. Cell counting kit-8 assay, Transwell assay, and flow cytometry analyses showed that LHPP overexpression significantly inhibited the cell viability, migration, and proliferation of BxPC-3 and PANC-1 cells. Moreover, xenograft tumor model demonstrated that LHPP overexpression inhibited xenograft tumor growth in vivo. Subsequently, proteins with significantly altered expression in BxPC-3 cells after lentivirus infection were detected using proteomics analyses. Interestingly, compared to the NC group, the expression of Syndecan 1 (SDC1) was significantly upregulated in the KD group, while that of S100P was significantly downregulated in the OE group. Conclusion: LHPP might emerge as an important target for delaying the advancement of PDAC, thereby providing a novel therapeutic approach for the treatment of PDAC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
