Implementing remedial and enrichment strategies followed by modeling the weight of the appraisal is the goal to be achieved in this study. The ASSURE model in this study has been used to develop an appraisal model for remedial and enrichment activities integrated with the independent curriculum in the vocational field. The results showed that the peer tutoring strategy among students could optimize remedial and enrichment outcomes. The students have shown their ability in independent and collaborative learning. In remedial and enrichment activities, groups of enrichment students have been directed to help their friends to be successful in remedial. Students' success in the remedial process is the success of enriching other students and vice versa. Each student has received an appreciation of the value according to his effort. The progress of remedial students is 8% to 82%, with an average of 10%. This progress forms the basis for determining the final score for the remedial, intermediate, and enrichment groups as tutors. The difference between the remedial and enrichment appraisal weights was determined using mathematical model 1. The final score of students who become tutors is determined using the mathematical model 3. The three mathematical models above can calculate remedial, enrichment, and tutor results. The use of this model helps teachers or lecturers to be more objective in giving grades. Lecturers' appraisal of student learning outcomes has been carried out in a transparent, fair, and accountable following the differences in the potential competencies of each student. Students have followed the learning process, the assessment process has been carried out properly, the teacher's documentation is complete, and the teacher is more confident.

Background: A Sharia Hospital in Central Java of Indonesia had previously used a balanced scorecard (BSC) to assess hospital performance. However, BSC has not been integrated into the hospital's strategic management process. Purpose: This study aims to develop a Sharia Hospital’s strategic plan by adopting a BSC integrated into Islamic values. Design/methodology/approach: A qualitative study was conducted involving a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis with 10 respondents and focus group discussions with 11 strategic planning teams. Findings/Result: The results indicate that the hospital has completed several stages of developing a strategic plan, including defining the hospital's vision and mission, conducting a SWOT analysis, and formulating strategic objectives. Moreover, BSC has been implemented into the hospital's strategic planning process, particularly in formulating strategic objectives aligned with Islamic values. This reveals that the BSC has been integrated into the hospital’s strategic management process. Conclusion: The result of this study provides a reference for a Sharia Hospital to adopt BSC aligned with Islamic values in the preparation of a hospital strategic plan. By integrating Islamic values into BSC, the hospital can formulate and implement strategies and evaluate the hospital's performance more comprehensively and measurable, covering financial and non-financial performance while promoting Islamic values. Originality/value (State of the art): Developing a strategic plan using the BSC is commonly conducted, but integrating Islamic values into the BSC perspective is still relatively uncommon. Hence, this study contributes significantly to hospital strategic management practices, particularly in Sharia hospitals. Ecology is a complex system, so it requires thinking skills to understand it. One of the skills that can be trained in ecological practicum lectures is systems thinking skills. Ecology practicum has the potential and strategic role in preparing quality students to face the era of industrialization and globalization. This potential will be realized if practicum activities can equip students with the ability to think logically, think creatively, think critically, and think systems, which ends up being able to solve integrated problems. To design an ecology practicum program that can train systems thinking skills, it is necessary to know the existing forms of ecological practicum implementation, students' systems thinking skills, and their logical thinking skills. This study aims to obtain information on the description of these three things so that it becomes the basis for developing a better practicum program. and adaptive to changes and developments of the times. This research is in the form of field research, namely research whose object is about the symptoms or events that occur in the subject group. 18 third-level students and 39 fourth-level students were selected as research subjects. Limited interviews were conducted with practicum assistants and course lecturers. The instrument used consisted of a logical thinking ability test, systems thinking scale, systems thinking test, and interview guidelines. The results of the study show practicum activities only practice the skills of collecting, processing, and analyzing ecological data. Students' logical thinking ability is in a “good” category, especially at the level of combinatorial reasoning. Students' systems thinking ability is low, especially forest thinking skills.

This study aims to analyze the level of sustainability of coastal resources in the Mentawai Islands District. As an area that has various potential resources. Many developments in coastal areas are essential means of regional economic growth. It turns out that development in coastal regions raises problems for their natural resources in the form of a decreas e (degradation) of their natural resources in quality and quantity. The decline includes shrinking mangrove forests, de creasing fishers' catch, sedimentation, and coastal abrasion around coastal areas. The MDS (Multidimensional Scaling) analysis approach will be used to determine the status of coastal resources as a foundation for sustainable coastal resource management based on the carrying capacity of the resources. The investigation findings suggest that the Mentawai Islands District's coastline management situation is not promising. The index for the ecological dimension is 42.31. In the moderate category, the economic dimension of the sustainable development index has a value of 51.31. The sustainable development index has a social dimension of 50.01. This dimension's legal and institutional dimension index is 51.84. The Mentawai Islands district's coastal management has to improve, given the increasing pressure to develop coastal resources in the future.

Strawberry agrotourism is the most extensive strawberry farming in Bandung, West Java. This agrotourism has the potential for nature, tourism, conservation, and regional economic potential. This research aims to identify the characteristics and assessment of visitors, identify factors influencing tourism demand, and estimate the value of the agrotourism economy. The economic value is analyzed using the method of TCM (Travel Cost Method). This method is calculated based on total consumer surplus, travel cost coefficient, and respondent visits. The average travel cost incurred by 379 respondents during the trip is IDR. 413,699, and the total cost of the entire journey is IDR.156,792,000. The surplus of consumer visits is IDR. 12,670, and the individual consumer surplus visits are IDR.33. The economic value generated for one year is IDR. 237,600. The factors that influence the demand are income, distance, and time to know the location. At the same time, the factors that do not affect the market are travel cost, education, number of dependents in the family, gender, and age of visitors.

Aktivitas perawat dalam menerapkan suatu wewenang, tugas dan tanggung jawab dalam rangka pencapaian fungsi utama profesi dan organisasi merupakan gambaran dari kinerja. Kinerja perawat mempunyai arti seperti prestasi kerja di suatu perusahaan. Pengukuran kinerja perawat dilakukan berdasarkan fakta, terbuka dan dapat dikomunikasikan. Tujuan penelitian untuk melihat dampak kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja perawat. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantatif dengan True-Experimental Design melalui rancangan Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian perawat pelaksana rumah sakit, jumlah sampel sebanyak 76 yang terdiri dari 38 kelompok intervensi dan 38 kelompok kontrol. Uji statistik menggunakan General Linear Model Repeated Measures. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa nilai p value 0,001 < 0,05 pada setiap pengukuran, Nilai perbedaan rata-rata dari pengukuran pertama sampai ketiga 6,55. Maka disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional mempengaruhi kinerja perawat. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional kepala ruangan dapat meningkatkan kinerja perawat pelaksana secara signifikan dengan p value 0,001. Sehingga intervensi yang dilakukan kepada kepala ruangan mempengaruhi nilai kinerja perawat pelaksana.

The aim of the study was to determine the growth performance and resistance of four new superior varieties (NSV) against rice stem borer (RSB). The variables observed were agronomic and yield components, harvested dry grain (HDG), the incidence and attack rate of RSB every 2 weeks. The research was designed on a randomized block design (RBD) by using four NSV, namely Inpari 16, 32, 33, and Ciherang as control with 6 replications. The data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), if there was a difference between the mean values, it was continued with a 5% LSD test. The research results showed that the use of Inpari 16, 32, and 33 increased crop yield by up to 6,9% to 30,9%. The highest yield was achieved by a variety of Inpari 32 (8,82 tons per hectare), followed by Inpari 33 (7,51 tons per hectare), and the lowest yield was found for Inpari 16 (6,95 tons per hectare). This shows that the use of Inpari 16, 32, and 33, can increase the percentage of rice production 6.92%, 35.62%%, and 15.54% respectively. The results showed that the three varieties inpari 16, 32, and 33 were susceptible to mild damage (≤ 11%), namely 0.56%, 0.6%, and 0.23% respectively, while Ciherang (control) 0.45%.

The objectives of this study are (1) to train participants in good and correct English communication both grammatically and in correctly choosing the right words and (2) to train fluency in English communication to understand the skills in each component which consists of listening exercises, the use of proper and correct language structures in writing, reading comprehension, and speaking proficiency. The method used is a communicative approach method that trains students to understand the skills in each training component which consists of speaking, writing, reading and listening skills. The results of this activity showed that the training participants experienced positive changes in terms of fluency, understanding, use of language structures and vocabulary.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menginventarisir jenis tumbuhan, mengetahui struktur dan komposisi vegetasi tumbuhan, menganalisis kesesuaian vegetasi tumbuhan, menduga keanekaragaman jenis serta merekomendasikan jenis-jenis pohon potensial untuk ditanam di Hutan Kota Kibitay Sukabumi. Survey dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis pohon dan analisis vegetasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui struktur dan komposisi jenis. Hasil survey menunjukkan bahwa jumlah tumbuhan yang ditemui sebanyak 73 jenis dan 17 jenis diantaranya ditemukan dalam petak contoh seluas 1600 m2. Hasil perhitungan Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) menunjukkan jenis yang mendominasi di tingkat semai yaitu jenis Mimosa pudica dengan INP sebesar 0.75% dan sebagai spesies kodominan yaitu dari spesies Calliandra haematocephala dengan INP sebesar 0.5. Jenis vegetasi yang mendominasi di tingkat pancang yaitu Nephelium lappaceum dengan INP 1.533%. Spesies yang mendominasi pada vegetasi tingkat tiang yaitu Swietenia mahagoni dan Agathis dammara dengan masing-masing INP yaitu sebesar 1.711 dan 1.127%, sedangkan spesies yang mendominasi di tingkat pohon yaitu Agathis dammara dengan INP sebesar 2.47%. Hasil perhitungan Indeks Keanekaragaman Jenis (H’) Shannon-Wienner sebesar 4.71. Secara umum jenis-jenis pohon Hutan Kota Kibitay Sukabumi tergolong cukup sesuai dengan nilai rata-rata 60,232 yang terdiri atas 13 jenis pohon dengan kriteria sesuai, 22 jenis pohon dengan kriteria cukup sesuai dan 25 jenis pohon dengan kriteria tidak sesuai.

The defect and metallic silver (Ag) in silver phosphate (Ag3PO4) photocatalyst were successfully generated using hydroxyapatite (HA) and glucose. Two steps of synthesis were done in these experiments. Firstly, the Ag/HA powder was prepared by reacting AgNO3 and HA, followed by the addition of a glucose solution. Secondly, the suspension of Ag/HA was reacted with AgNO3 aqueous solution. The yellow product of Ag/Ag3PO4 photocatalyst was produced. The products were characterized using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (DRS), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS). The decreased ratio of O/Ag and metallic Ag formation observed by the XPS was detected as the possible defect and Ag-doping in the photocatalyst. The enhanced photocatalytic activity might be caused by the oxygen vacancy and metallic Ag in Ag3PO4 that enables the separation of photo-generated electrons and holes.

Labor pain is a unique and subjective experience, where each individual has a different response. Non-pharmacological pain management methods include pain management, namely hypnobirthing and murrotal. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hypnobirthing and murrotal therapy on the intensity of active fisrt stage of labor pain in primigravida at Singadaru and Banten Girang Health Center, Serang City, Banten Province. The research design used a quasy experimental approach without control group. The total sample in this study were 25 women giving birth. The data collection tool used was the pain scale VAS & NRS. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, using the Wilcoxon statistical test to compare data before and after the intervention. The results showed that there were differences in the average pain intensity before and after hypnobirthing intervention was given (p value = 0.010, ∆ = 1.5). There is a difference in the mean intensity of labor pain in primigravida before and after given murrotal intervention (p value = 0.014, ∆ = 1.5). The difference in the average intensity of labor pain before and after giving hypnobirthing and murrotal intervention (p value = 0.006, ∆ = 2). The conclusion from the results of the three interventions given were all significant, but the difference between pain intensity and high value was found in murrotal and hypnobithing interventions. The combination of hypnobirthing and murrotal recommendations can be used as an alternative to distract labor pain, and increased belief in god

This research aimed to present the Fuzzy approach in determining the optimal production capacity of the Nugget Production. The Fuzzy Model was developed by using two membership sets; i.e. the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) variable membership set of the production machine and Nugget Demand Forecasting. Nugget demand forecasting uses an exponential smoothing method due to its time-series type of query history data. OEE values were calculated using Availability, Performance and Quality Yield. In the Fuzzy approach, the Forecasting Membership Set uses the Triangular Membership Function type, and the OEE Membership Set uses the Trapezoidal Membership Function type. The fuzzy set model produced can be used as a tool for the company in determining the value of the Optimal Capacity production so that demands can be fulfilled and the product stocks decrease.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of STEM-based Project learning models on students' thinking abilities. Learning with this STEM-based project model needs to be applied and trained to students because it not only develops the ability to think creatively, but also other abilities and can be developed such as critical thinking skills, and ability to make decisions. The research method that be used is quasi-experiment with the design of Nonequivalent Control Group. This research was conducted at the Cikidang State High School 1 with the research population being class X. The sampling technique used was Purposing Sampling. The results showed that the experimental class N-gain value was 0.71 higher than the control class of 0.47. The z test results show that the data produced is in accordance with the criteria namely Zhitung = 8, 91> Ztable = 1,998, meaning that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that the learning model STEM-based project influences students' creative thinking skills in environmental pollution material. The responses from students to the STEM-based learning model provide positive responses to the implementation of learning activities.

Currently, the container terminal is growing rapidly and is the entrance to world trade. Terminal productivity is one of the keys to superior service. One indicator of container terminal productivity is dwelling time. In developing countries, among the causes of high dwelling time is the lack of container handling equipment. This paper aims to study the effect of the number of quay cranes on the number of dwelling time. The investigation was carried out using a container terminal simulation. As a case study, a simulation of a container terminal with a berth length of 300 meters with average daily ship calls is 600 TEUs. The simulation is done by making the parameters of adding quay cranes to each case. The results of the simulation show the addition of a quay crane can reduce the number of dwelling time average by 0.1 days, this decrease depends on the container capacity of the ship. The results of this study provide an overview of the container terminal in port infrastructure planning.

The research is aimed to know student achievement and teacher response on TIMSS. The research method used is descriptive. This achievement is captured the TIMSS questions in 2007 and 2011 on the ecosystem concept. The test contains 20 questions consisting of 14 essays and 6 multiple choice questions. The TIMSS questions also consist of several cognitive domains of knowing, applying and reasoning. Responses of students and teachers were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The study subjects are class VIII B 1 of School A and class VIII E School B 2 of Sukabumi in the academic year of 2015/2016. The results show that average achievement in School A is in the poor category (41%) and School B is in the fair category (56%). The achievements based on cognitive domain, 80% for knowing the domain, 43% for applying domain and 53% reasoning domain. Some students of School A and most of the students of School B feel interested in TIMSS problem, while the teachers think that TIMSS questions will be used if it already familiar.

Data were collected by using a task of problem-solving skills, emotional environment classroom climate’s questionnaire and interview guides. Implementation of the study began with a pretest continued with learning activity and ended with posttest. The results showed that problem-solving skills and emotional environment classroom climate have improved both in the experimental classroom and in the comparator classroom. The significance test results by using a Mann Whitney non-parametric test showed that problem-solving skills and emotional environment classroom climate in the experimental class were differ significantly with the comparator classroom. Students responded positively to the model of project-based learning. Pada saat ini kebutuhan akan energi listrik merupakan hal yang mutlak, hampir keseluruhan peralatan dalam rumah tangga menggunakan energi listrik. Sehingga saat penggunaan beban puncak, sering terjadi trip pada kWh meter yang mengakibatkan pemutusan mendadak pada peralatan listrik. Untuk itu perlu adanya tindakan pengendalian untuk menjaga stabilitas sistem kelistrikan yang terpakai pada penggunaan energi listrik di rumah tangga. Sistem pengendali otomatik yang diterapkan untuk mengontrol beban lebih listrik telah dirancang berbasis Arduino Uno. Dalam melakukan take over/pengendalian, sistem terbagi atas stasiun master dan stasiun slave. Stasiun master dilengkapi: Arduino uno, Sensor Arus ACS712, Radio Frekuensi (RF) 433 MHz. Stasiun master berfungsi sebagai pusat pengendalian dan pemantauan stasiun slave. Sedangkan stasiun slave yang dilengkapi oleh: Arduino uno, relay module dan Radio Frekuensi (RF) 433 MHz, yang berfungsi sebagai eksekutor take over beban listrik dengan aksi on-off pada beban listrik yang berlebih. Stasiun master memonitor penggunaan beban melalui sensor arus ACS712 dan mengirimkan sinyal data beban lebih melalui Radio Frekuensi (RF) 433 MHz dan stasiun slave akan melakukan perintah dari stasiun master untuk memutus beban. Proses pengalokasian energi listrik ini akan mengendalikan penggunaan energi listrik yang berlebih pada rumah tangga. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi masalah keterbatasan alat dan bahan praktikum matakuliah sistem kendali proses di Jurusan Teknik Elektro Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Langkah yang ditempuh adalah: 1) mengembangkan model virtual praktikum berbasis jaringan saraf listrik, 2) mengujicobakan model yang dikembangkan kepada mahasiswa sebagai media bantu belajar. Luaran penelitian berupa program aplikasi jaringan saraf listrik yang dapat memberikan konstribusi terhadap: 1) Optimalisasi sistem jaringan saraf listrik sebagai teknologi virtual praktikum sistem kendali proses, 2) Efektivitas dan efisiensi sistem pembelajaran yang memberikan daya tarik kepada mahasiswa karena model dan media belajar yang ditawarkan lebih menarik, 3) peningkatkan keterampilan dan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah praktikum Sistem Kendali proses. In certain situations, a moving or stationary object can be a barrier for a vehicle. People and vehicles crossing could potentially get hit by a vehicle. Objects around roads as sidewalks, road separator, power poles, and railroad gates are also a potential source of danger when the driver is inattentive in driving the vehicle. A device that can help the driver to brake automatically is known as Automatic Braking System (ABS). ABS is a part of the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which is a device designed to assist the driver in driving the process. This device was developed to reduce human error that is a major cause of traffic accidents. This paper presents the design of ABS based on fuzzy logic which is simulated in hardware by using a remote control car. The inputs of fuzzy logic are the speed and distance of the object in front of the vehicle, while the output of fuzzy logic is the intensity of braking. The test results on the three variations of speed: slow-speed, medium-speed, and high-speed shows that the design of ABS can work according to design.

Gotech GT-7010-D2E is a tensile testing machine used in Metallurgical Engineering Laboratory UNTIRTA. The machine are used both for practical and Materials Engineering specimen testing demanded by several industries. The machine can perform tensile tests well, but for the analysis is done manually, so it requires a lot of time and accuracy of the analysis results are not very accurate. Therefore, it’s needed a software that can analyze the results of the tensile test in the form of graphs in real time. Software visualization is created using Visual Basic 6.0 and data from tensile testing machine is stored using Microsoft Access database. The software is designed to record any characters that appear in the LCD on the control panel of a tensile testing machine and then process them to be a graphic. Based on the results of the implementation of the specimen plate and wire observations prove that the difference between the use of visualization software is more accurate and effective in their use of time, compared to manual observation that requires further analysis of the test results. In software visualization results of tensile test, the mechanical properties can be analyzed directly from the test results and graphs of data obtained in real time.

T-type zeolite can be used as catalyst, adsorbent, and membranes for gas separation. The synthesis of T-type zeolite needs to be optimized in both of the method and source of precursor, because of its relatively high price. In this research, the synthesis is done using silica extracted from bamboo leaves instead of commercial silica. This increases the value of the bamboo leaves and the cost-performance of zeolite synthesis. The silica was extracted from bamboo leaves ash using alkaline solvent. The extracted silica has 81.76% of purity and an amorphous phase. The T-type zeolite was synthesized using the molar composition of 0.15 Na2O : 0.025 Al : 0.15 K2O : 1 SiO2 : 15 H2O : 0.06 TMAOH, under hydrothermal method and heating process for 4 days, 60°C for 2 days and 120°C for the next 2 days. The characterization method using X-Ray Diffraction and Infra-Red Spectroscopy were performed to confirm the formation of T-type zeolite. The results of Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) analysis show that the formed T-type zeolite has erionite cylindrical crystal shape.

This study aims to find out the leadership role in organizational change at Attaqwa Putra Islamic Boarding School Bekasi Indonesia. The research utilized a case study method. Meanwhile, data collection techniques were through the interview, observation, document analysis, and questionnaire. Analysis data used the reduction system, data display, and verification/conclusions. The results of the research, there are four important leadership roles in organizational change at the Attaqwa Putra Islamic Boarding School Bekasi. First, the Leader as the direction of the direction is reflected in the role of formulating a vision, inspiring subordinates to make changes, and focusing every activity to achieve the school's vision. Second, leaders as spokespersons are reflected in the role of leaders advising teachers, building relationships with principals through routine coordination meetings, coordinating with teachers through press meetings, and holding support from graduates. Third, leaders as coaches are reflected in the leadership role of building a work team, building trust, encouraging and motivating subordinates, and providing the best service. Fourth, leaders as agents of change are reflected in the role of leadership in deciding to make changes, innovate, anticipate future trends, and determine the direction of boarding school in the future.

Ramie (Boehmeria nivea L. Gaud) is a versatile plant with potential as a cotton alternative in textiles. Its cellulose content, second only to cotton, requires degumming to remove fiber gum before industrial use. This study scaled up enzymatic degumming to 1 kg of ramie fiber, employing a dual enzyme approach: local Bacillus halodurans CM1 xylanase and commercial pectinase. This was optimized under varying conditions, including temperatures (30, 50, and 70 °C), durations (1, 2, and 3 h), and solid-liquid ratios (SLRs; 1:15, 1:22.5, 1:30), utilizing response surface methodology. Optimal outcomes were achieved at 50 °C and a 1:15 ratio, with a 3-h treatment duration, resulting in the highest reducing sugar yield (5.25 mg/mL) and a 102.03% enhancement in ramie fiber brightness compared to the enzyme-free control. This enzymatic process effectively separated gum from fibers while improving the quality, fineness, and tensile strength of cellulose fibers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study uses a qualitative method with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to analyze the strategy for developing the quality of Islamic vocational school education majoring in multimedia and information technology in the Parung Panjang area, Bogor Regency, with a focus on school accreditation, human resources, curriculum, and infrastructure. In addition, this study develops alternative quality development strategies that can be applied not only in the region but also in general throughout Indonesia. The results of this research show that the main criteria for developing quality of education at Islamic Vocational Schools consisted of managerial (A1, A2), curriculum (A2, A3), human resource (A3, A4), infrastructure (A4, A5), and human resources (A4). The findings of this study can be used as a reference for the implementation of strategies in Islamic vocational schools, and cultivating strategies that have a positive impact on Islamic education both at the national and international levels.
