Abstrak: Pembelajaran yang memberikan pengalaman dan partisipasi siswa adalah pembelajaran inkuiri karena pembelajaran inkuiri menuntut siswa untuk melakukan aktivitas, mengamati, menganalisis, dan menarik kesimpulan dari aktivitas yang diamati. Artinya metode inkuiri dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir siswa sehingga menuntut siswa untuk mengambil inisiatif dalam memecahkan masalah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada pengaruh hasil belajar tata boga antara yang menggunakan metode guided inquiry dan metode ekspositori, pada siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan berpikir kritis berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan kuasi eksperimental faktorial 2X2. Hasil penelitian ini dapat ditarik simpulan sebagai berikut: Ada perbedaan hasil belajar tata boga siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah dan ada interaksi antara penerapan metode guided inquiry dan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar tata boga siswa. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode guided inquiry dan keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tata boga pada siswa SMA Kelas X. Abstract: Learning that provides student experience and participation is inquiry learning because inquiry learning requires students to carry out activities, observe, analyze and draw interesting conclusions from the activities observed. This means that the inquiry method can develop students' thinking abilities so that it requires students to take the initiative in solving problems. The aim of this research is to determine whether there is an influence on culinary learning outcomes between those using the guided inquiry method and the expository method, on students who have different critical thinking abilities. This research uses a 2X2 factorial quasi-experimental design. The following conclusions can be drawn from the results of this research: There are differences in the culinary learning outcomes of students who have high critical thinking abilities and those with low critical thinking abilities and there is an interaction between the application of the guided inquiry method and critical thinking abilities on students' culinary cooking learning outcomes. Based on research findings, it can be concluded that the use of guided inquiry methods and critical thinking skills can improve culinary learning outcomes in Class X high school students.

Background: Rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone (R-CHOP) chemotherapy remains the standard of first-line treatment for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Up to 40% of DLBCL is characterized by relapse and refractory after treatment. Preliminary study reported Hypoxia-inducible factor-1a (HIF-1a) overexpression in 88.5% of DLBCL tumors in the Dr. Kariadi Hospital. Moreover, the role of hypoxia and HIF-1a has previously never been explored in DLBCL. Objectives: To evaluate the effect of hypoxia modulation to increased chemotherapeutic response in DLBCL. Methods: Single blind randomized control study was performed, with pre-test and post-test control group design. Research sampling consisted of DLBCL patients. The inclusion criteria include newly diagnosed DLBCL with HIF-1a overexpression and randomized to receive hypoxia modulation consisting of carbogen inhalation and nicotinamide administration, before R-CHOP chemotherapy. The tissue biopsy, histopathology and immunohistochemical studies were done. Chemotherapeutic responses were evaluated after 10-14 days following the first cycle of R-CHOP chemotherapy. Results: Out of twenty-six DLBCL participants with HIF-1a overexpression, there were 20 participants who completed the research protocol: 10 participants each in the intervention and control group. Demographic, clinicopathological, laboratory and disease characteristics were not statistically different between the two research groups (p>0.05). Baseline tumor volume to be evaluated was also considered equal (172.3 cm3 vs. 152.8 cm3 , p=0.597). Following the carbogen inhalation and nicotinamide administration, serum HIF-1a and lactate reduction can be observed. There was also a significant tumor volume shrinkage in both the intervention and control (mean -85.7 cm3 vs. -118.27 cm3 ) group, though the reduction was not statistically different (Delta 58.85% vs. 65.63%, p=0.474). Conclusion: The addition of hypoxia modulation to R-CHOP chemotherapy for DLBCL has shown beneficial effects on both serum HIF-1a and lactate concentration. However, the benefits did not correlate to increase a better tumor response compared to the control group.

Media komik sebagai alat pembelajaran dapat mengkomunikasikan pesan dan informasi dengan komprehensif, menarik, dan bermakna. Cerita dalam komik mampu mengakomodasi berbagai materi pembelajaran seperti sains, teknologi, rekayasa, seni, dan matematika (konten STEAM). Pendidik PAUD perlu memahami penerapan komik ini dalam pembelajaran proyek untuk mengintegrasikan konten STEAM dan pengalaman bermain anak. Penggunaan komik diharapkan meningkatkan pemahaman literasi budaya maritim pada anak usia dini di Kabupaten Kepulauan Seribu. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini didasarkan pada metode pelatihan partisipatif, diskusi terfokus dan kegiatan workshop di TK Negeri 01 kelurahan Pulau Untung Jawa dan TK Negeri 01, Pulau Kelapa, Kabupaten Kepulauan Seribu. Kegiatan menghasilkan beberapa temuan yakni (1) Media komik sangat efektif dan menarik untuk memberikan gambaran tentang kegiatan proyek dan konten STEAM untuk satuan PAUD, (2) Pembelajaran proyek bermuatan konten STEAM dapat dirancang melalui perangkat pembelajaran dan modul ajar berbasis tema kemaritim, (3) Pembelajaran proyek bermuatan konten STEAM dapat menjadi salah satu penciri implementasi kurikulum merdeka di satuan PAUD, dan (4) penggunaan media komik dalam pembelajaran proyek bermuatan konten STEAM dapat meningkatkan literasi budaya maritim anak usia dini.

Although positive association between fermented vegetables intake with the risk of coronary heart disease (CHD) has increased attention nowadays, the metabolite profiling and the mechanism of action are still elusive. This study designed to investigate the secondary metabolites, hypolipidemic, and anti-atherogenic effect of mixed vegetable fermentation extract (MVFE). The metabolite screening of the MVFE was assessed using the Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrophotometer (LC-MS/MS) method. The result of LC-MS/MS was used as ligands to inhibit the binding of oxidized LDL (oxLDL) and Cluster Differentiation 36 (CD36), Scavenger Receptor A1 (SRA1), Lectin-type oxidized LDL receptor 1 (LOX1). This work was performed with molecular docking using Discovery Studio 2021, PyRx 0.9, and Autodock Vina 4.2 followed by analyzing Network Pharmacology, Protein Protein Interaction (PPI) using Cytoscape 3.9.1 and String 2.0.0. Finally, the clinical effect of MVFE was evaluated using in vivo study. Twenty rabbits were assigned to normal, negative control, and MVFE group that were fed with standard diet, high fat diet (HFD), HFD supplemented with MVFE 100, 200 mg/kg BW, respectively. The serum level of Total Cholesterol (TC) and Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL-c) were detected at the end of week 4.The LC-MS/MS analysis identified 17 compounds categorized as peptides, fatty acids, polysaccharides, nucleoside, flavonoids, flavanols, and phenolic compounds. Based on the docking study, more negative binding affinity was observed in the interaction between metabolites with the scavenger receptors (SR) than simvastatin. The number of nodes and edges based on Network Pharmacology analysis were 268 and 482, respectively. The PPI network showed that MVFE metabolites exerts its athero-protective effect by modulating various cellular processes including inflammation, improvement of endothelial function, and modulation of lipid metabolism. Blood TC and LDL-c concentrations in the negative control (458.82 ± 82.03; 191.87 ± 92.16 mg/dL) were higher significantly compared to the normal group (87.03 ± 29.27; 43.33 ± 5.75 mg/dL). Murabaha financing is the most common type at BMT Ash-Shaff Pringgarata because it is prioritized over other financings. Two factors can influence members' decisions in taking Murabaha financing: internal factors, including perception, motivation, and personality, and external factors, including culture and social class. This study aims to show the influence of internal and external factors on members' decisions in taking Murabaha financing at BMT Ash-Shaff Pringgarata. This type of research is associative quantitative. The data source used is primary data using a questionnaire collecting data. The population of this study is members who receive Murabaha financing for the 2017-2021 period, totalling 2351 people. The sample measurement uses the Slovin formula, with a sample of 100 people using the incidental sampling technique. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression tests using the IBM SPSS program version 25. The results showed that internal and external factors partially or simultaneously influenced members' decisions to take Murabaha financing at BMT Ash-Shaff Pringgarata. This research can complement existing theory and be a reference for BMTs to evaluate the strategies used to attract members to take up financing.

Coffee is one of Indonesia’s main products with the consumption rate reach 10 million tons in 2020-2021 globally. This high productivity raises the problem of coffee peel waste which has been utilized as animal feed or fertilizer. Eco enzyme, a complex solution formed by the fermentation of organic waste, sugar, and water can be used as an alternative for utilizing coffee peel waste. This research was conducted to test the enzymatic activity of eco enzyme from coffee peel and papaya peel that fermented for 2, 3, and 4 months. The enzymes tested were protease, amylase, and lipase using selective agar media 1% skim milk, 1% starch, and 5% olive oil respectively. The results obtained was the eco enzyme contains protease as indicated by the formation of a clear zone around the sample. Meanwhile, the negative results of amylase activity were thought to be due to the presence of caffeine from coffee peel and certain compounds from papaya peel which can inhibit α-amylase activity. The results of the lipase activity test could not be observed due to the large range of pH value of methyl red so that the reddish zone was not formed by the hydrolyzation of triglycerides into fatty acids that cause the pH value decrease.

The surge in cosmetic product consumption in Indonesia has spurred the growth of the local cosmetic industry. However, not all cosmetics in circulation adhere to the halal standards mandated by Indonesian authorities through the Law on Halal Product Guarantee. This study endeavors to establish a method for identifying pork-derived content in cosmetic cream products lacking the halal logo. The approach involves total DNA isolation using the Qiagen DNeasy Mericon Food Kit, followed by detecting the NDH5 gene using qPCR. Results indicated that the isolation kit effectively extracted DNA fragments from cosmetic products, yielding 0.6–0.8 ng/µL concentrations, with A260/280 ratios ranging from 0.90 to 1.76 and A260/230 ratios from 0.12 to 0.17. Analysis of five cosmetic cream samples revealed that three of them exhibited no contamination by pig-derived elements, with a cut-off value of 23.7×101. Consequently, the isolation method utilizing the kit and the subsequent detection of the NDH5 gene through qPCR emerge as a robust approach for identifying pig-derived ingredients in cream-based cosmetics.

Keratinase is a class of proteases that degrade keratin into polypeptides and amino acids by breaking peptide and disulfide bonds in keratinous proteins. Protease is one of the largest industrial enzymes, the global protease market is increasing rapidly every year. In previous studies, a keratinase-producing microbe was isolated from Bleduk Kuwu which was identified as Bacillus haynesii BK1H. However, further study needs to be done to optimize the production by observing microenvironmental factors that influence keratinase production. In this study, screening some microenvironmental factors is reported. Screening factors including carbon sources, type and concentration of metal ions, agitation speed, amount of inoculum, pH, and temperature. Screening for these factors was started with the One Factor at A Time (OFAT) method and followed by the Plackett-Burman Design (PBD) method. In this study, sequential work was done: (1) Regeneration of Bacillus haynesii BK1H Microbes, (2) Preparation of Tyrosine Standard Series Solutions, (3) Screening of Factors Affecting Protease Fermentation of Bacillus haynesii BK1H using the One Factor at A Time (OFAT) method. ), and (4) Maintaining Significantly Influential Factors by Using Plackett-Burman Design (PBD). The results of the OFAT approach showed that the best condition for keratinase production was achieved at rice husk concentration, additional carbon source, of 1%; pH of 7; a temperature of 35°C; the amount of inoculum of 1%; agitation speed of 150 rpm; magnesium sulfate concentration of 0.04 g/mL, and calcium chloride concentration of 0.0005 g/m. Justification of those factors using PBD confirmed that only additional rice husk, magnesium sulfate and calcium chloride concentration, and agitation speed were significantly important toward keratinase production at selected experiment level limits.

Proteases are enzymes that catalyze the hydrolysis of peptide bonds into oligopeptides and amino acids. Previous bacterial studies reported that eight proteolytic isolates had been isolated from Bledug Kuwu mud, Central Java. One of these isolates is BK1H which has a proteolytic index of 2.960 making it possible to be studied further. In this study, optimization of the protease activity of BK1H was carried out using 3 factors namely temperature, pH, and divalent metal cations. This research was conducted through several stages, (1) Bacterial culture regeneration, (2) Protease fermentation using the SmF method, (3) Determination of the type of protease, (4) One Factor at a Time (OFAT), (5) Plackett-Burman Design (PBD), (6) Response Surface Methodology-Central Composite Design (RSM-CCD), and (7) Confirmation of RSM-CCD optimization results on experimental results. OFAT experiment results showed the lowest activity and the highest activity was obtained at 37°C and 57°C; pH 6 and 8; and CaCl2 0.5 and 1.0 mM. Contextual teaching and learning is one of the outstanding approaches that can help students understand the meaning of teaching materials based on personal, social, and cultural contexts. Due to this, students can have the knowledge and skills to actively build their understanding of the materials. Therefore, this study aims to find out the effectiveness of contextual teaching and learning in improving students' reading comprehension at SMP Negeri 2 Mappakasunggu Takalar. This study involved 56 students of seventh-grade students. This study used a quasi-experimental with two classes, the experimental class, and the control class. Data was collected through a reading test that was given to students before and after giving the Contextual Teaching and Learning method. In analyzing the data, the researchers used the SPSS version 22. The results of data analysis showed that the post-test mean value was 26.04 compared to without using CTL or conventional in the control class, the post-test mean value was 23.71. In addition, the calculation results of the SPSS version 22 application showed that the value of the t-count calculation was 2.3. Compared with table df = 54, namely (2.0) the significance level was 5%, t count > t table, then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. In other words, accept the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and reject the null hypothesis (Ho) to test both variables. This study aims to determine the development of the process of mathematics teaching materials based on the Experiential Learning model to improve mathematical literacy skills in two-variable linear equation system materials as well as the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This type of research is Research and Development regarding the ADDIE development model, which consists of several stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The product developed as teaching materials is a module based on the Experiential Learning model on the material of a two-variable linear equation system. The test subjects in this study were grade VIIIA students of SMPN 45 Makassar, totaling 28 students. The instruments used in this study were expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, observation sheets of teacher ability in managing learning, observation sheets of student activities, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that in the limited trial stage, teaching materials based on experiential learning on two-variable linear equation system material had met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.

One of the ecosystem services provided by the mangrove ecosystem is cultural service, which provides the benefits of recreation, aesthetics, and spirituality. The utilization of mangrove ecosystems, which can preserve and maintain the ecosystem, is through scientific research, education, and ecotourism. Ecotourism is a tourist activity that can Support the sustainability of using natural resources because it prioritizes natural resources over tourist facilities. This research aims to determine mangrove ecosystems’ suitability and carrying capacity for developing mangrove ecotourism. It was conducted from August until September 2022 at the Paljaya Mangrove Restoration and Learning Centre (MRLC), Segarajaya Village, Bekasi Regency. Data analysis was performed using the Tourism Suitability Index (TSI) and an assessment of the Carrying Capacity of the Region (CCR) to ensure the maximum capacity of the MRLC area in accommodating visitors at a particular time. The TSI value obtained from this study is 2.09 and is included in the Suitable category for ecotourism development. The length of the bridge for the mangrove tracking area is 230 m, with the area’s carrying capacity being 37 people/day. Therefore, recommendations that can be made in policy making are to increase mangrove planting activities and maintain mangrove sustainability.

Psychological factors are important factors in sports achievement. Psychological training programs in sports have been used in various fields to improve skills. This study uses survey with a test and measurement approach, a type of quantitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were 8 rock climbing athletes. The instruments used were concentration, anxiety, and confidence. The results of the analysis obtained from the calculation of the psychological profile of the NTB rock climbing athletes are concentration with an average of 10.87, anxiety with an average of 19.50, motivation with an average of 115.87, and confidence with an average of 120.50. The weakest psychological indicator was concentration, while anxiety and self-confidence were average indicators. On the other hand, motivation was a strong point and was categorised as good. There were several limitations to consider in this study. First, this study focused on four psychological factors, namely concentration, anxiety, motivation, and self-confidence, while potentially neglecting other significant aspects of the psychological profile of the athlete. Second, there were only nine participants in the sample, limiting the generalizability of the results. Future research should surmount these limitations by incorporating a broader range of psychological factors and increasing the sample size to produce more exhaustive and representative results. The findings of this study highlight the significance of continuous mental training to enhance the performance of rock climbers. In addition, this study provides practitioners and researchers with a valuable resource for addressing issues related to an athlete's psychological well-being.

Target untuk penelitian ini ialah untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan yang dilakukan mahasiswa PGMI UINAM dalam mengerjakan soal matematika materi geometri yang dilihat dari aspek pemahaman konsepnya yang biasanya disebut miskonsepsi. Penelitian ini termasuk deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ialah 44 mahasiswa PGMI yang dipilih melalui cluster random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrument tes yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan rubrik analitik. Hasil yang diperoleh dari rangkaian penelitian teridentifikasi bahwa kesalahan terbanyak yang dilakukan mahasiswa PGMI UINAM ialah pengaplikasian rumus yakni 79,8%, kemudian kesalahan saat menghitung yakni 43,2%, kesalahan pada data yang digunakan yakni 40,9%, kesalahan mengartikan soal 38,6%, dan paling sedikit ialah kesalahan membuat putusan yakni 20,4%. Target for this research is to identify mistakes made by PGMI UINAM students in working on math problems seen from the aspect of understanding the concept which is usually called a misconception. This research includes qualitative descriptive. The research subjects were 44 PGMI students who were selected through cluster random sampling. Data were collected using a test instrument which was then alalyzed using an analytical rubric. The results obtained from a series of studies identified the the most mistakes by PGMI UINAM students were the application of foemulas, which was 79,8%, then errors when calculating, namely 43,2%. Errors in the data used were 40,9%, errors in interpreting questions 38,6%, and the least is the error in making a decision that is 20,4%.

Pro-inflammatory stimuli in the cancer microenvironment induce nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) signaling pathway that plays an integral role in immunothrombosis mechanism.Objective: To investigate the role of inflammatory and coagulation biomarkers in the development of DVT in cancer patients with high risk of thrombosis (Khorana score ≥ 2).Subjects and methods: This study was a cross-sectional study at Dr. Kariadi General Hospital. The serum levels of proinflammatory cytokines, ie, NF-κB, interleukin-6 (IL-6), C-reactive protein (CRP), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), and coagulation biomarkers, ie, tissue factor (TF), prothrombin fragment F1+2 (F1+2), fibrinogen and D-dimer were measured in newlydiagnosed cancer patients with a highrisk of thrombosis. Color duplex sonography was used for DVT screening.Results: From January to November 2021, there were 83 eligible patients. DVT was confirmed in 8 subjects (9.63%). Univariate analysis revealed a significant difference between the median age of patients with DVT compared to non-DVT patients, 49.5 years (range: 23– 60 years) and 42 years (range: 19– 60 years), with p=0.046. D-dimer level was higher in DVT patients [(6.020 μg/L, range 2.090– 20.000) vs (1.940 μg/L, range 270– 20.000), p=0.005]. Multivariate analysis revealed age and D-dimer were significantly correlated with DVT incidence. In all patients, there were significant positive correlations between several inflammatory and coagulation activation parameters, which were IL-6 with D-dimer and F1+2, CRP with F1+2 and D-dimer as well as TNF-α with F1+2. However, these findings were not shown in DVT patients.Conclusion: In cancer patients with a high risk of thrombosis, age and D-dimer level are the significant variables towards the incidence of DVT. In patients with DVT, there was no significant correlation between inflammatory and coagulation activation parameters.Keywords: inflammation, activation of coagulation, DVT, high-risk thrombosis, cancer patients

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran persepsi mahasiswa terkait pembelajaran daring via lentera, serta motivasi belajar mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika, dan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh persepsi mahasiswa terkait pembelajaran daring via lentera terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Matematika UIN Alauddin Makassar angkatan 2018, 2019, dan 2020 dengan jumlah sebanyak 251 mahasiswa dan sampel sebanyak 154 mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh persepsi mahasiswa terkait pembelajaran daring via lentera terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk persepsi mahasiswa terkait pembelajaran daring via lentera (X) diperoleh nilai rata-rata 54,02 berada pada kategori sedang, sedangkan untuk motivasi belajar mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika (Y) diperoleh nilai rata-rata 48,47 berada pada kategori sedang.

Zumba shares similarities with other aerobic exercises such as dancing and cycling, as it enhances cardiovascular health and facilitates calorie burning. However, what distinguishes Zumba is its emphasis on enjoyment and the incorporation of dance movements from various music genres. This form of aerobic exercise involves sustained moderate to high-intensity activity without excessive fatigue. It strengthens the heart muscle and promotes efficient blood circulation. Furthermore, aerobics can effectively reduce blood pressure in individuals with hypertension. This positive effect is attributed to the improvement of blood vessel function, facilitating better blood flow and alleviating strain on the heart. Regular aerobic exercise also contributes to weight loss, which further aids in lowering blood pressure. Nevertheless, the impact of Zumba on VO2 max ability remains to be explored. In this study, a pre-experimental design was employed, involving one-hour Zumba sessions conducted over eight weeks, comprising approximately 12 tracks prepared by the instructor. The study sample consisted of 30 participants engaged in Zumba classes. Prior to Zumba, the Jackson non-exercise test formula was employed to assess VO2 max fitness. Post-Zumba, the 1-mile jog test formula was utilized to measure VO2 max fitness. The study findings indicate a significant increase in the mean VO2max value after treatment, compared to the lower mean value observed before treatment. Specifically, the mean value of VO2max increased from 38.46 ml/kg/minute before treatment to 47.83 ml/kg/minute after treatment. These results suggest that Zumba exercise enhances aerobic fitness by positively impacting cardiovascular biological mechanisms in young women during the transition to the new normal period.

Pada penelitian sebelumnya fragmen gen 1,9 kb telah berhasil diisolasi dari Kawah Domas, Jawa Barat melalui pendekatan metagenom. Fragmen tersebut diketahui mengandung daerah Open Reading Frame (ORF) utuh dari gen pengkode aldolase kelas II dari uncultured Acidilobus sp. yang kemudian disebut sebagai aldII. Fragmen gen aldII tersebut berhasil diekspresikan menjadi protein termostabil aldolase kelas II yang kemudian disebut sebagai AldII. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan studi bioinformasi terhadap protein AldII tersebut. Protein AldII kemudian diketahui memiliki massa molekul ~21,2 kDa dengan rumus molekul C940H1539N261O281S8. Total residu bermuatan negatif (Asp + Glu) sebanyak 22 residu, sedangkan total residu bermuatan positif (Arg + Lys) adalah 18 residu. Nilai pI teoritis AldII sebesar 5,86. Hasil perhitungan indeks kestabilan protein ini adalah 36,61 dan diklasifikasikan sebagai protein yang stabil. Lewat penjajaran dengan homologi terdekat, ditemukan daerah lestari yang dapat menunjukan residu yang mungkin berperan dalam pengikatan logam dan sisi aktif. Prediksi struktur 3D dilakukan secara ab initio, menunjukan adanya 6 struktur β-sheet dan 6 struktur α-heliks. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa protein AldII dari uncultured Acidilobus sp. diduga memiliki aktivitas enzimatik.

Abstrak Pandemi Covid-19 mengubah drastis sistem dan kegiatan pembelajaran di Indonesia. Kegiatan belajar yang biasanya dilakukan secara tatap muka beralih menjadi online (daring) melalui bantuan berbagai aplikasi mulai dari yang paling familiar yaitu WhatsApp sampai aplikasi yang baru bagi kalangan pelajar seperti zoom, gmeet, dan classroom. Perubahan yang tiba-tiba ini tentunya tetap harus dipantau dan ditelaah kemajuan dan keberhasilannya. Penelitian ini merupakan kualitatif yang hasilnya dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Maksud dilaksanakannya penelitian ini untuk mengeksplore sejauh mana keefektifan dari WhatsApp sebagai media dalam pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini ditujukan kepada para peserta didik kelas VIII di MTs Manongkoki dengan sampel penelitian yang dipilih adalah kelas VIII 3. Jumlah sampel penelitian ialah 32 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi serta wawancara, kemudian teknik analisis datanya menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasilnya mengungkapkan bahwa pemanfaatan WhatsApp untuk pembelajaran daring belum efektif karena adanya beberapa kendala baik dari pihak pendidik maupun peserta didik seperti tidak stabilnya sinyal, pasifnya instruksi guru, hingga kesibukan orang tua untuk bisa mengontrol anaknya. Oleh sebab itu perlu evaluasi kembali terhadap pendidik dalam hal merencanakan rangkaian pembelajaran online. Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic has drastically changed the learning system and activities in Indonesia. Learning activities that are usually carried out face-to-face have turned online through the help of various applications, ranging from the most familiar like WhatsApp to applications that are new to students such as zoom, gmeet, and classroom. This research is a qualitative study, the results of which are described descriptively. The purpose of carrying out this research is to explore the extent to which the effectiveness of WhatsApp as a medium in online learning. This research was aimed at students of class VIII at MTs Manongkoki with the research sample chosen was class VIII 3. The number of research samples was 32 people. Data were collected through observation and interviews. The results reveal that the use of WhatsApp for online learning has not been effective due to several obstacles, both on the part of educators and students such as unstable signals, passive teacher instructions, and busy parents to be able to control their children. It is necessary to re-evaluate educators in term of planning online learning series.

Adapun yang menjadi tujuan dari pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman belajar siswa melalui metode simulasi di Kelas VI SDN No.89 Sipatana. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian tindakan kelas. penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk siklus yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu, Tahap Persiapan, Tahap Pelaksanaan tindakan, Tahap Pemantauan dan evaluasi, Tahap Analisis dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari dua siklus dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian menunjukkan setiap kali tindakan dilakukan selalu mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan terbukti indikator kinerja yang ditetapkan berhasil yaitu jika sebelumnya jumlah siswa yang paham materi perjuangan melawan penjajah pada siklus 1 hanya sebanyak 9 siswa (69.23%) meningkat pada siklus 2 menjadi 12 orang siswa (92.3%) siswa. Sedangkan 1 atau (7.69%) siswa merupakan jumlah siswa yang kurang paham dan akan diperbaiki melalui proses remedial. Hasil tersebut memberikan gambaran perbedaan ketika guru kelas menggunakan proses pembelajaran yang konvensional tanpa memahami bagaimana kondisi siswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan pemilihan dan penerapan metode simulasi secara tepat dengan langkah-langkah yang sesuai disetiap tindakan memperoleh hasil pembelajaran yang maksimal. Oleh karenanya peneliti telah yakin bahwa dengan menggunakan Metode Simulasi dalam pelajaran IPS maka pemahaman belajar siswa Kelas VI SDN No 89 Sipatana akan meningkat dapat diterima.

Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan maksud mengembangkan modul geometri analitik bidang dan ruang materi konikoida berdasarkan Teori Van Hiele yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri atas empat fase, yaitu: fase investigasi awal, fase desain, fase realisasi, dan fase tes, evaluasi, dan revisi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, angket respon mahasiswa, angket respon dosen, lembar observasi aktivitas mahasiswa, lembar observasi kemampuan dosen mengelola pembelajaran, dan tes pemahaman konsep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan modul yang dihasilkan valid, praktis dan efektif, dengan rata-rata kevalidan untuk bahan ajar dan semua instrumen penelitian adalah 4,5. Praktis, dengan rata-rata lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran 1,56, rata-rata persentase angket respon mahasiswa 82,68 dengan kategori positif dan rata-rata persentase angket respon dosen adalah 86,94. Efektif, rata-rata persentase aktivitas mahasiswa adalah 80,125, rata-rata persentase kemampuan dosen mengelola pembelajaran adalah 4,00, dan persentase ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa adalah 75%. Abstract This research form development that refers to development geometrical module analytics field and matter conicoid materials based on Van Hiele Theories which is valid, practical and effective. This research used development of Plomp models that consists of four phases : Investigation phase, design phase, realization phase, and test phase, evaluation and revision. Instrument that used are paper of validation, paper of observation characteristic of learning, questionnaire response of students, questionnaire response of lecture, observation papers activity of students, observation papers the ability of lecture to manage the subject and comprehension test of the concept, result of research show module that valid. Practically and effective. Dengan rata-rata the validation to substance of teaching and all the instrument of research is 4,5 practically. With range observation of papers the characteristic of learning 1,56, range of questionnaire presentation of students response 82,68 for the positive of category and range questionnaire presentation of lecture response is 86,94. Effective, range presentation activity of students is 80,125, range the ability the presentation of lecture to manage the subject is 4,00, and completeness presentation student learning is 75%.

This research aims to ascertain the proportion of mistakes made by students while solving comparative and social arithmetic problems. This study falls under the category of qualitative descriptive research. Twenty-six students from class VII.6 were used as study participants. Data were gathered via interviews and administering exams. The analytical framework was derived from Polya's classification of errors. The findings of this research show that type of mistake. According to this research, mistakes in evaluating responses (fourth phase) are more prevalent than other types of errors. The fourth phase received a score of 43,8%, whereas the first phase received a score of 34,9%, the second phase received a score of 35,4%, and the third phase received a score of 36,5%. The mistakes in the first and second phases are indicative of fundamental and conceptual problems. The third level demonstrates mistakes in the processes and algorithms, followed by faults in confirming the solutions. The consequence of this study is the identification of pictures of mistakes made while answering comparison questions and social arithmetic, allowing for the development of more effective learning methods for future learning.

This research aims to know the effect of computer laboratory facilities and learning interest on student’s learning outcomes. Used ex-post facto quantitative research with exogenous, endogenous, and intervening variables. Population and sample of this research were mathematics education department students for the 2020/2021 academic year, totaling around 80 people. The instruments used were questionnaires and written test. Data analysis technique used is path analysis. Based on the research that has been done, it’s concluded that: (1) description of computer laboratory facilities, students’ learning interest and students’ mathematics learning outcomes in order are in the medium, high, and high categories, (2) there is a direct effect of computer laboratory facilities on mathematics education department student’s mathematics learning outcomes, (3) there is a direct effect of learning interest on students’ mathematics learning outcomes, (4) there is a direct effect of computer laboratory facilities on mathematics education department student’s mathematics learning interest, and (5) there is an indirect effect of computer laboratory facilities on students’ mathematics learning outcomes through learning interest.  Penelitian ini tujuannya untuk mengetahui pengaruh fasilitas laboratorium komputer dan minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. Merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis ex-post facto dengan variabel eksogen, endogen, dan variabel intervening. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika tahun ajar 2020/2021 berjumlah 80 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket dan tes tulis. Teknik analisis datanya yaitu analisis jalur. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: (1) deskripsi fasilitas laboratorium komputer, minat belajar dan hasil belajar matematika mahasiswa secara berurut berada pada kategori sedang, tinggi, dan tinggi, (2) terdapat pengaruh langsung fasilitas laboratorium komputer terhadap hasil belajar matematika mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika, (3) terdapat pengaruh langsung minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika mahasiswa, (4) terdapat pengaruh langsung fasilitas laboratorium komputer minat belajar matematika mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika, dan (5) terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung fasilitas laboratorium komputer terhadap hasil belajar matematika mahasiswa melalui minat belajar.

This study aims to determine the description of mastering pedagogical competence, map the teaching readiness, and analyze the significant effect of mastering pedagogical competence on teaching readiness of the prospective elementary school teachers at State Islamic University (UIN) Alauddin Makassar, Indonesia. This research was ex-post-facto quantitative research. The research variables were pedagogical competence and the readiness to be a teacher. The population and sample were all of the final semester students, consisting of 80 students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Department at UIN Alauddin Makassar who had taken the Field Experience Practice program using simple random sampling. The instrument used was a Likert scale-based questionnaire. A basic linear regression was employed to analyze the data. The following are the results of this study: (1) the mean score of prospective elementary school teachers' pedagogical competence was 70.62, indicating that the pedagogical competency score was in the high category; (2) the mean score of prospective elementary school teachers' teaching readiness mapping was 72.25, indicating that the mapping score of teaching readiness was in the high category; (3) the mean score of prospective elementary school teachers' pedagogical competence was 70.62, indicating that the pedagogical competency score was in the high category. As a result, prospective elementary school teachers' teaching preparation was influenced by their knowledge of pedagogical competence. Accordingly, prospective elementary school teachers' teaching preparation is needed to be trained by developing pedagogical competency by constructing a learning program in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Department

The beach becomes a comfortable place if cleanliness is maintained. Plastic waste, if any along the coast, can be carried by the waves into the ocean. Plastic waste brought to sea can be consumed by marine biota because marine biota cannot distinguish between plastic and food waste. This community service activity intends to inspire visitors (tourists), managers and traders at Balekambang beach to care about the environment. A well-preserved environment will be a legacy that will be left on the next generation. Abstract: This study aimed to investigates the effect of Mathematical self-efficacy on the students’ learning outcomes of Teaching Practice Placement (PPL). This research used ex-post-facto with simple paradigm design. The population were 80 students’ Department of Mathematics Education. Sampling technique used was saturated sample so that all the members of the population selected. The instruments used were questionnaire and documentation. The data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The findings indicate that the average of the students' self-efficacy is 95.66 which is categorized as ‘fair’, the students’ learning outcomes of teaching practice placement is 3.87 which is categorized as ‘A’, and the regression gained through regression testwas Y = 2.359 + 0.016X. Thus, there is significant effect of self-efficacy on the students’ learning outcomes of Teaching Practice Placement. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki efek self-efficacy matematika pada hasil belajar mahasiswa dari Praktek Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL). Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan ex-post-facto dengan desain paradigma sederhana. Populasi terdiri dari 80 mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Matematika. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh, sehingga semua anggota populasi dipilih. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistika deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata self-efficacy siswa adalah 95.66 dengan kategori 'sedang', hasil belajar siswa dari penempatan praktik mengajar adalah 3.87 dengan kategori 'A', dan persamaan regresi diperoleh melalui uji regresi, yaitu Y = 2.359 + 0.016X. Dengan demikian, ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari self-efficacy terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa dari Praktek Pengalaman Lapangan.

The aim of this study was to characterize protease soluble collagen (PSC) obtained from milkfish scales, extraction using protease from proteolytic bacteria HTcUM7.1 isolate. The characterization included Fourier Transform Infra Red (FT-IR) spectra, Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) profile, Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), denaturation temperature by Differential Scanning Calorimetric (DSC) and solubility. The resulting PSC from milkfish scales has white color, fiber with a length of about 20-60 µm, FTIR spectra and SDS-PAGE profile showed that PSC was collagen Type I and denaturation temperature was 145.48 °C, with maximum solubility at pH 1-3 and 1-2 % NaCl. Its high denaturation temperature value allows the collagen to be applied in the fields of medicines and cosmetics.

Verbal interactions will occur when both the teacher/lecturer and learners could completely understand what each other means. It happens verbally among the teacher and learners during the teaching learning activity (Mardiana et al., 2019). This study was mainly conducted to examine the University students’ perception on verbal interaction through WhatsApp chat group. This study used qualitative descriptive method was used to achieve the objective of this study. Observation and a questionnaire were adopted as tools for data collection. A total number of samples was 14 English as a Foreign Language learners in university students. The analysis of the data revealed that university students’ perception on verbal interaction gave the positive feedback towards WhatsApp chat group. This proves that ordinarily learners selected agree with utilizing WhatsApp chat group in doing verbal interaction. Hence, utilizing of WhatsApp chat group can be recommended as an efficient technique in verbal interaction for teaching and learning process.

The learning process is inseparable from the learning model. The application of a learning model is an attempt to improve learning outcomes and learning motivation. This research aimed to determine the effect of the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model on students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This research was a quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design. The research instruments used were learning motivation questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using the MANOVA test. The results showed that there was an influence of the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model on students’ motivation and learning outcomes.

The high level of C-reactive protein (CRP) is an acute phase reactant that induces tissue factor (TF) expression in monocytes, smooth muscle cells, and endothelial cells. The CRP level positively correlates with the incidence, extension, and volume of thrombus. TF expression triggers the coagulation system including the formation of thrombin and circulating fibrin such as prothrombin fragment 1+2 (F1 + 2) and D-dimer.Objective: To determine the diagnostic value of high-sensitivity (hs)-CRP, D-dimer, and Wells score combination to predict the incidence of DVT on clinically suspected DVT (Wells score ≥ 2) cancer patients.Subjects and Methods: This study was a cross-sectional study on a diagnostic test to determine the diagnostic value of hs-CRP and D-dimer for early detection of DVT on clinically suspected DVT (Wells score ≥ 2) cancer patients. It was conducted in Dr. Kariadi Hospital, Semarang Indonesia on 35 subjects. The diagnosis of DVT was confirmed by color duplex sonography. The diagnostic accuracy of combination of hs-CRP, D-dimer, and Wells score was analyzed by logistic regression.Results: DVT was confirmed in 10 subjects (28,6%). The cut-off point of hs-CRP levels for probable DVT was ≥ 51.05 mg/L and for D-dimer was ≥ 5030 μg/L. The median levels of both variables were higher in the subjects with DVT compared with the subjects without DVT, but it was not statistically significant. The combination of hs-CRP (≥ 51.05 mg/L), D-dimer (≥ 5030 μg/L), and Wells score ≥ 3 had the high accuracy (94.1%) to predict the incidence of DVT compared with hs-CRP (65.0%), D-dimer (54.7%), and combination of hs-CRP and D-dimer (71.0%).Conclusion: The combination of hs-CRP (≥ 51.05 mg/L), D-dimer (≥ 5030 μg/L), and Wells score ≥ 3 can predict the incidence of DVT in cancer.Keywords: hs-CRP, D-dimer, Wells score, deep vein thrombosis, cancer

Lipase (Triacylglycerol acyl hydrolase), is a hydrolase enzyme that plays an important role in industries such as health, food, biotechnology, and energy. Lipase might be isolated from almost all living organism, either higher organisms or microbes. In this report, lipase was isolated from compost isolated microbe namely AL89 isolate. AL89 was previously identified closed to Pseudoxanthomonas taiwanensis. The crude extract of lipase was produced by incubating of the culture at 55°C for 19 hours. The crude extract was partially purified using acetone fractionation. Fractionation was carried out at concentrations of acetone at 0-20%, 20-40% and 40-60%. The specific activity was determined by hydrolytic activity of lipase with the substrate of para-nitrophenylpalmitate (pNPP). The result showed that the highest activity of the enzyme is 0.0971 U/mg protein from the fraction of 0-20%. Lipase from isolate AL89 showed optimum activity at 55°C and pH 9. In addition the enzyme prefers para-nitrophenyl laurate (pNPL) as substrate. Using zymography analysis showed that the active protein at the size of 70 kDa. All the data suggested the enzyme is thermo and alkali-tolerant lipase.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji perbedaan kemampuan awal matematika, perbedaan motivasi belajar, perbedaan indek prestasi (IP) mahasiswa antara yang berasal dari jawa dengan luar jawa, serta menguji pengaruh kemampuan awal matematika, motivasi belajar dan asal daerah terhadap indek prestasi mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika FKIP Universitas Dr. Soetomo angkatan 2016/2017. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survei. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika FKIP Universitas Dr. Soetomo angkatan 2016/2017. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket motivasi, metode tes, angket identitas diri, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Ada perbedaan kemampuan awal mahasiswa antara yang berasal dari jawa dengan luar jawa, hal ini dibuktikan besarnya probabilitas (Sig. 2- tailed) = 0,000 < = 0,05; 2) Ada perbedaan motivasi belajar mahasiswa antara yang berasal dari jawa dengan luar jawa, hal ini dibuktikan besarnya probabilitas (Sig. 2- tailed) = 0,000 < = 0,05; 3) Ada perbedaan indeks prestasi mahasiswa antara yang berasal dari jawa dengan luar jawa, hal ini dibuktikan besarnya probabilitas (Sig. 2- tailed) = 0,009 < = 0,05; 4) Ada pengaruh kemampuan awal, motivasi belajar, dan asal daerah terhadap indek prestasi pada mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika FKIP Universitas Dr. Soetomo angkatan 2016/2017, hal ini dibuktikan besarnya probabilitas (Sig. 2- tailed) = 0,000 < = 0,05.

The learning process cannot be separated from the use of learning tools, the entire learning process has been planned in these learning tools. This study aims to produce a contextual-based mathematics learning tool on the subject of comparison of class VII SMPN 27 Makassar which is valid, practical and effective. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with reference to the 4-D Thiagarajan model, namely: (1) the define stage, (2) the design stage, (3) the develop stage, and (4) the disseminate stage. The instruments used were validation sheets, student response questionnaires, observation sheets for device implementation, and learning outcomes tests. Based on the results of the validation of the experts, the products developed and the instruments used for each aspect were in the "valid" to "very valid" category on average. In the field trial, it was found that: (1) the instrument used to measure the practicality found that the device developed was carried out well, the average value of all aspects of the observation was carried out and the response questionnaire analysis was in the "positive" category (2) the instrument for measuring the effectiveness The data obtained from the test of learning outcomes with an average score of students reaching 83.3%, student activity was as expected, and observations of learning management were in the high category. So that this study produces a contextual-based mathematics learning tool product on the subject of comparison of class VII SMPN 27 Makassar which is valid, practical and effective.

Rice nutrition including vitamin and amylose contents become important aspect for many people around the world. Rice with high amylose content (low glycemic index) is good for those with Diabetes mellitus. Tocotrienol, one precursor of Vitamin-E biosynthesis is catalyzed by enzymes encoded HGGT, while amylose biosynthesis is catalyzed by enzymes encoded GBSSI. The objective of this study was to find rice varieties with high tocotrienol and/or amylose content based on the expression of HGGT and GBSSI among eight Banyuwangi local rice varieties. Relative expression of HGGT and GBSSI was measured by qRT-PCR and analyzed using 2ΔCt method. Statistical analysis resulted in the significantly different of HGGT and GBSSI relative expression among samples. Relative expression of HGGT from the highest to the lowest were demonstrated by Hitam Melik, Hitam Pekat, Blambangan A3, Merah Bali, Blambangan A2, Berlian, Janur Kuning, and SOJ A3, respectively; while relative expression of GBSSI from the highest to the lowest were demonstrated by Hitam Melik, Hitam Pekat, SOJ A3, Janur Kuning, Berlian, Merah Bali, Blambangan A3, and Blambangan A2, respectively. Based on this research we conclude that Hitam Melik potentially produces higher tocotrienol and lower glycemic index than other studied varieties.

Indonesia possesses vast coastal agricultural land areas with high salinity. This high salinity is a threat to rice productivity which may decrease to 79.8%. Banten province of Indonesia houses many local rice varieties which have salinity tolerance potency based on its agronomical characters. The adaptability of rice plant in high salinity soil can be affected by OsDREB2A gene, which encodes transcription factors from several salt-tolerant signaling pathway genes. The aims of this study were to find out the possible polymorphism of OsDREB2A gene from Banten local rice varieties. The polymorphism of OsDREB2A analyzed by Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) and possible molecular structure. OsDREB2A gene was amplified using DNA from Tambleng, Bulu Putih, and Pare Caok varieties as templates through PCR method with a pair of specific primers. DNA fragments obtained were analyzed by means of series of analysis software. From those analysis we obtained 840 bp, 836 bp, and 850 bp gene fragments from Tambleng, Bulu Putih, and Pare Caok varieties, respectively. There is polymorphism of OsDREB2A due to some mutation yet does not massively alter its protein structure. From this study, we suggest that Tambleng, Bulu Putih, and Pare Caok varieties potential for salinity stress resistance genetically.

Abstract: This study aimed to find out the mathematic teachers’ perception about the implementation of Curriculum 2013 the tenth grade in one of schools in Makassar. This research was qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were 4 Mathematic teachers of the tenth grade. Data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was done by reducing data through summarizing all of the result from interview, observation and documentation. Then, the data were presented in the form of narration and conclusion. The results of this study indicated that the Mathematic teachers’ perception toward the implementation of Curriculum 2013 got negative response. This result based on research analysis: First, the teachers described that Curriculum 2013 was complicated because the core competencies assessed the students from all aspects of attitude, knowledge and skills. Second, the teachers had misconceptions about the scientific approach implemented in Curriculum 2013 which was using discovery/inquiry learning or project based learning model however in reality the teachers used STAD model of cooperative learning. In this case, the lack of socialization had an impact on teachers in applying the Curriculum 2013. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru matematika tentang penerapan Kurikulum 2013 kelas sepuluh di salah satu sekolah di Makassar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 4 guru Matematika kelas X. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengurangi data melalui meringkas semua hasil dari wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Kemudian, data disajikan dalam bentuk narasi dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi guru matematika terhadap penerapan Kurikulum 2013 mendapat respon negatif. Hasil ini berdasarkan analisis penelitian: 1) guru menggambarkan bahwa Kurikulum 2013 rumit karena kompetensi inti menilai siswa dari semua aspek sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. 2) guru memiliki kesalahpahaman tentang pendekatan ilmiah yang diterapkan dalam Kurikulum 2013 yang menggunakan pembelajaran penemuan/penyelidikan atau model pembelajaran berbasis proyek namun pada kenyataannya guru menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD. Dalam hal ini, kurangnya sosialisasi berdampak pada guru dalam menerapkan Kurikulum 2013.

Abstract Proteases are ubiquitous enzymes and it can be found in all living organisms. Extracellular proteases have high economic value, where the enzymes can be applied to various industrial sectors. In order to find an alternative source of protease, a search for microbe producing extracellular protease has been done using a selective medium. An extracellular producing bacterium that is identified as Pseudomonas sp has been isolated from chicken feces, that is Gallus gallus bankiva, collected from residential areas at Lowokwaru, Malang, Indonesia. The analysis shows that the bacterium produces extracellular protease with optimum activity after incubation of 66 hours at 35oC. Initial characterization of the extracellular protease shows that the extracellular protease produced by Pseudomonas sp has an optimum activity at pH 12 and an optimum temperature at 39oC. At these conditions, the crude extract enzyme has a specific activity of 0,522 U/mg. The high pH resistance allows its application to variety of industrial processes that require high pH operation. Abstrak: Elektrokimia merupakan konsep aplikatif. Siswa perlu diarahkan mencapai pemahaman agar dapat menjelaskan fenomena korosi dan penyepuhan logam. Karakteristik penyajian representasi submikroskopik yang berbeda antara visualisasi statis (Vis) dan analogi (Log), dapat memberikan pencapaian pemahaman berbeda. Rerata pemahaman siswa Vis lebih tinggi daripada Log, sedangkan rerata terendah pada siswa yang tidak disajikan representasi. Hasil whitney u test dengan menujukkan bahwa keterampilan argumentasi berbeda secara signifikan. Rerata keterampilan argumentasi siswa Log 33,47 lebih tinggi daripada Vis 27,53, tanpa representasi 33,3 lebih tinggi daripada Log 27,7, dan Vis 39,15 lebih tinggi daripada tanpa representasi 21,85. Faktor-faktor selain pemahaman juga mempengaruhi keterampilan argumentasi siswa seperti interaksi antarsiswa, keaktivan dalam kegiatan diskusi, ketertariakan terhadap fenomena elektrokimia, kemampuan menjelaskan fenomena, dan pemahaman terhadap komponen-komponen argumentasi. Abstract: The development of digital thematic teaching materials aims to produce a product that is feasible, practical to use, effective for improving the quality of learning, and interesting for students to learn. The results of the development showed a positive impact from the use of the product with an increase in learning activities of 92.14% with the criteria of "very good". Positive results were also shown from the effectiveness of student learning, the pretest value of 60.54 increased significantly in the posttest value of 84.79. In the feasibility analysis obtained a percentage of 86.04% with the criteria "very feasible", practicality 91.07% with the criteria "very practical", and attractiveness get a percentage of 91.89% with the criteria "very interesting". So this digital thematic teaching material can be used in learning. Abstrak: Pengembangan bahan ajar tematik digital ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu produk yang layak, praktis untuk digunakan, efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, serta menarik untuk dipelajari siswa. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan adanya dampak positif dari penggunaan produk dengan adanya peningkatan aktivitas belajar sebesar 92,14% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Hasil positif juga ditunjukkan dari efektivitas belajar siswa, nilai pretest sebesar 60,54 meningkat signifikan pada nilai postest sebesar 84,79. Pada analisis kelayakan diperoleh persentase sebesar 86,04% dengan kriteria “sangat layak”, kepraktisan 91,07% dengan kriteria “sangat praktis”, dan kemenarikan mendapat persentase sebesar 91,89% dengan kriteria “sangat menarik”. Dengan demikian, bahan ajar tematik digital ini dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Mutant of lipase at oxyanion hole (H110 F) was constructed. The gene was highly expressed in Eschericia coli BL21 (DE3) and the recombinant protein was purified using Ni-NTA affinity chromatography. The activity of mutant enzyme was significantly increased compared to that the wild type. Further comparison showed that both of the enzymes exhibited same optimum pH and temperature, and showed highest lipolytic activity on pNP-decanoate (C10). The wild type appeared lost of activity on C14 and C16 substrates meanwhile the mutant still showed activity up to 20 %. In the presence of non polar organic solvent such as n-hexane, the wild type became inactive enzyme meanwhile the mutant still remained 50 % of its activity. The results suggested that mutation at oxyanion hole (H110 F) caused enzyme-substrate interaction change resulting on elevation of activity, better activity toward longer carbon chain substrate and improving the activity in the present of non polar organic solvent.

A novel thioesterse gene was successfully cloned and sequenced directly from natural sample of Domas Hot Spring, West Java, Indonesia. Homological analysis of the sequence showed that the gene appeared high homology to thioesterase genes with the highest to a putative thioesterase gene from uncultured Acidilobus sp. JCHS at 66% identity. However, phylogenetic analysis showed that the protein was separated from the branch with other known thioesterases. The size of the gene is around 500 base pairs, lied into 2 kb DNA fragment from a random PCR amplicon. The gene was overexpressed in Escherichia coli, a dominant band appeared at 17 kDa in SDS-PAGE with expression level at around 32% of total proteins. The activity of the purified protein using acetyl-CoA as substrate showed that the protein exhibited thioesterase activity. Furthermore, the enzyme also showed esterase activity on p-nitrophenyl ester as substrate. Detail characterization of esterolytic activity showed that the enzyme preferred p-nitrophenyl decanoate as substrate. The optimum activity of the enzyme was at 80 °C and pH 8. Activity of the enzyme was maintained after incubation at 80 °C up to 24 h. In addition, the enzyme was favorable on polar organic solvents. All the data obtained suggested that the enzyme is a novel alkaline thermostable thioesterase.

Pada dasarnya penelitian ini merupakan suatu studi untuk melihat faktor budaya yang mempengaruhi kewirausahaan, kemampuan usaha dan kinerja Usaha Rumah Makan Padang yang ada di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Diharapkan secara langsung akan mendorong kewirausahaaan di Indonesia dan merupakan solusi terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja serta pengangguran di Indonesia dan khususnya di DIY. Adapun objek penelitian yang diteliti adalah Rumah Makan Padang yang telah memiliki surat izin usaha, Alasan memilih wilayah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta adalah karena Yogyakarta adalah kota pelajar dan wisata yang penduduknya terdiri dari beragam suku bangsa dan Pendapatan Asli Daerah Yogyakarta 60% berasal dari Pariwisata dimana salah satu sarana pariwisata adalah Rumah Makan. Perkembangan Rumah Makan Padang cukup pesat didaerah IstimewaYogyakarta. Jumlah Sampling 50 responden pemilik restoran Padang dengan mengunakan kuisioner serta teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa Budaya Minangkabau berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kewirausahaan, kemampuan usaha, kinerja usaha, serta Kewirausahaan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kemampuan usaha berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja usaha.

Indonesia needs more entrepeneurs to increase economic growth, and income percapita as developed country such as United States and Japan. One of strategy that can be done is increase entrepenur by entrepeneurship education from young age. The aim of this paper is to show how to internalise entrepeneurship character into third grade student in Kareng Kidul Public Elementary School, Wonomerto, Probolinggo. Using Project Based Learning (PjBL), this study conduct two cycles of classroom action research. In the end of second cycle, there is an increased understanding about entrepeneurship and entrepeneurship character can be internalized into students mind. Abstrak : Belajar memerlukan keterlibatan mental dan kerja siswa sendiri. Penjelasan dan pemeragaan semata tidak akan membuahkan hasil belajar yang langgeng. Biasanya yang bisa membuahkan hasil belajar yang langgeng hanyalah kegiatan belajar aktif. Agar belajar menjadi aktif siswa harus mengerjakan banyak sekali tugas. Mereka harus menggunakan otak, mengkaji gagasan, memecahkan masalah, dan menerapkan apa yang mereka pelajari. Belajar aktif harus gesit, menyenangkan, bersemangat dan penuh gairah. Siswa bahkan sering meninggalkan tempat duduk mereka, bergerak leluasa dan berfikir keras (moving about dan thinking aloud) Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah pengaruh model pembelajaran tuntas dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam pada siswa Kelas IV SDN 22 Penjalaan Kecamatan Simpang Hilir Kabupaten Kayong Utara. Untuk meningkatkan prestasi dan motivasi siswa dalam belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam, khususnya di SDN 22 Penjalaan Kecamatan Simpang Hilir Kabupaten Kayong Utara, salah satunya yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran tuntas. Dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran ini diharapkan prestasi serta motivasi belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam dapat meningkat. Setelah melalu penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran tuntas terbukti dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, hal ini terlihat dengan terjadinya peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dalam setiap siklus, yaitu siklus I (66,67%), siklus II (75,56%), siklus III (86,67%).

This article aims to find comparison of PAUD management of Pembina Curup and PAUD Pertiwi Rejang lebonmg in improving the quality of learning with qualitative descriptive approach so as to obtain the following conclusion. Curriculum management, student affairs, educators and educational staff, facilities and infrastructure and PAUD financial management has been implemented by the PAUD Pembina and PAUD Pertiwi. This is seen in, First, the quality of early childhood education is the service provided in the form of Kindergarten (TK) and Play Group (KB). Second, the fulfillment of the level of child development achievement, the learning is done in accordance with the age group of learners, and also in accordance with the needs of the surrounding community and the learners themselves. Third, the fulfillment of educators and educational personnel to meet the standards, even exceed the existing standards, by providing opportunities for educators to go to college and follow the training. Fourth, existing facilities and infrastructure are now more and more, both in terms of quantity and quality as required by the existing rules. Facilities and infrastructure about safe, comfortable, bright and fulfilling children's health criteria, according to the child's developmental level, make use of the available resources and potentials already fulfilled. Fifth, in accordance with the instructions and rules on the financial implementation of PAUD. Finance management of PAUD Terpadu and PAUD Pertiwi has also been communicated with parents, learners, and the community. So there is no rejection from the public.

Senam Semangat PAGI, adalah salah satu variasi senam yang diciptakan oleh tim kreasi Senam Semangat PAGI Universitas PGRI Adibuana Surabaya. Senam ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kebugaran tubuh dan fungsi–fungsi fisiologis manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan apakah ada pengaruh Senam Semangat PAGI (SSP) terhadap tingkat kebugaran siswa kelas XI di SMAN 4 Sidoarjo”. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen, rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan one group pretest – postest design, dan analisis data menggunakan Anova. Adapun data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode TKJI. Selanjutnya data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 18. Siswa sebelum melakukan SSP sebesar 131,15 sedangkan siswa setelah melakukan SSP sebesar 148,70. Selanjutnya analisis statistik Uji-T didapat nilai thitung sebesar 4,703 lebih besar dari ttabel = 3,435. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Senam Semangat PAGI terhadap tingkat kebugaran siswa kelasXI di SMAN 4 sebesar 13 %.

The article aims at finding out students’ learner identity and difference through English Club Meeting at Megarezky Universitas. This research investigated twenty members of English Club Meeting of Megarezky University (E-Comers) who come regularly and five respondents for interview. The method of this research is used observation, field note, and interview. The data collecting were analyzed by presented, analyzed, discussed and interpreted. The result of this research categorized four factors in order to understand learner identity, motivation, learning strategies, learner autonomy, and cross linguistic influence. In motivation, students are motivated due to the value of group community, students’ personal goal, and senior members’ role. While in learning strategies; coping and communication strategies are appeared on this research. Talking about learner autonomy, it is revealed that students’ control is the most effective strategies. So, it can be concluded that cross-linguistic influences students in English learning process. In conclusion, these four factors help teachers to understand students’ identity and difference. Every student has different motivation, learning strategies, students’ autonomy and cross-linguistic influence factors which English Meeting Club tends to accommodate students’ identity in one group activity.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penguasaan konsep teorema Pythagoras terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal bangun ruang sisi datar pada siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Balang-Balang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif jenis ex post facto. Populasi yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Balang-Balang yang berjumlah 204 siswa. Adapun sampelnya berjumlah 102 orang yang diambil melalui teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes soal Pythagoras dan soal bangun ruang sisi datar. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial yaitu dengan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan konsep teorema Pythagoras dan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal bangun ruang sisi datar masing–masing berada pada kategori tinggi. Adapun hasil analisis statistik inferensial pada regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara penguasaan konsep teorema Pythagoras terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal bangun ruang sisi datar siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Balang-Balang. Abstract: This study aims to determine the impact of the mastery of Pythagoras Theorem concepts on the ability of MTs Negeri Balang-Balang grade VIII students to solve polyhedron problems. This study is a quantitative research with ex post facto design. Statistical population consists of all grade VIII students in MTs Negeri Balang-Balang which was 204 students. The number of sampling used is 102 respondents taken by simple random sampling technique. The research instrument was a test related to Pythagorean an polyhedron problems. Descriptive and inferential statistics were performed as the statistical analysis. The descriptive analysis result shows that the mastery of Pythagoras Theorem concepts is within the category of ‘high’ and the ability of solving polyhedron problems is as well. The inferential statistical analysis using simple linear regression shows that there is an impact of the mastery of Pythagoras Theorem concepts on polyhedron problem solving ability of Grade VIII students of MTs Negeri Balang-Balang.

Students' creative thinking skills need to be developed, one of which is through learning. This research was aimed to produce Augmented Reality (AR) media based on Group Investigation (GI) practice models on various living things to improve students' creative thinking skills. This research and development using the 4-D model. However, it only reached the Develop stage. The population of this study was students of SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya in the Science class, with 37 students in each class. This study collected data through validation tests, pre-tests, post-tests, observation sheets for creative thinking skills, questionnaires, and student responses. The data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results of development research carried out by researchers related to Mobile AR media with display aspects with 17 indicators obtaining good category. Whereas in the programming aspect, seven indicators are good category. So, the Mobile AR media validation results are good category. Biological material in the application with AR with content aspects with eight indicators are very good category. Whereas in the learning aspect, which consists of 16 indicators, in the good/valid category. The material in this category is worthy of being tested in the field. Based on descriptive statistics, the pre-test and post-test proved to be higher. We discuss these results and its implications.
