2. Functional connectivity changes are correlated with sleep improvement in chronic insomnia patients after rTMS treatment

Abstract

BackgroundRepetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) has been increasingly used as a treatment modality for chronic insomnia disorder (CID). However, our understanding of the mechanisms underlying the efficacy of rTMS is limited.ObjectiveThis study aimed to investigate rTMS-induced alterations in resting-state functional connectivity and to find potential connectivity biomarkers for predicting and tracking clinical outcomes after rTMS.MethodsThirty-seven patients with CID received a 10-session low frequency rTMS treatment applied to the right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex. Before and after treatment, the patients underwent resting-state electroencephalography recordings and a sleep quality assessment using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI).ResultsAfter treatment, rTMS significantly increased the connectivity of 34 connectomes in the lower alpha frequency band (8-10 Hz). Additionally, alterations in functional connectivity between the left insula and the left inferior eye junction, as well as between the left insula and medial prefrontal cortex, were associated with a decrease in PSQI score. Further, the correlation between the functional connectivity and PSQI persisted 1 month after the completion of rTMS as evidenced by subsequent electroencephalography (EEG) recordings and the PSQI assessment.ConclusionBased on these results, we established a link between alterations in functional connectivity and clinical outcomes of rTMS, which suggested that EEG-derived functional connectivity changes were associated with clinical improvement of rTMS in treating CID. These findings provide preliminary evidence that rTMS may improve insomnia symptoms by modifying functional connectivity, which can be used to inform prospective clinical trials and potentially for treatment optimization.

Abstract

With the rapid development of the advanced electronic packaging field, the requirements for the connection between solder and Cu substrate are becoming increasingly stringent. Currently, the commonly used Ni-P diffusion barrier layer in the industry lacks long-term reliability, and its resistivity is higher than that of other substrates. This paper introduces the highly conductive metal element W to modify the binary Ni-P coating and prepares a ternary Ni-W-P coating through electrodeposition to improve this situation. The key parameters for the electrodeposition of ternary Ni-W-P are determined. The isothermal aging reaction of Ni-W-P with Sn-Bi solder at 100 °C was studied, and the results showed that, compared to the conventional Ni-P coating, the Ni-W-P barrier coating with higher W content has a much longer lifespan as a barrier layer and exhibits significantly better electrical conductivity. Additionally, the reaction mechanism between Ni-W-P and the Sn-Bi solder is proposed. This research presents a promising advancement in the development of barrier layers for electronic packaging, potentially leading to more reliable and efficient electronic devices. Introducing tungsten into the Ni-P matrix not only extends the lifespan of the coating but also enhances its electrical performance, making it a valuable innovation for applications requiring high conductivity and durability. This study could guide further investigations into the application of ternary coatings in various electronic components, paving the way for improved designs and materials in the semiconductor industry. 19. Light-responsive smart nanopapers and ink: design for information storage and encryption.

Abstract

In the present study, spiropyran (SP)-like photoactive molecules were embedded in situ into cavities of lanthanide metal–organic frameworks (Ln-MOFs), resulting in individually aligned molecules to generate dynamically photo-responsive materials (Ln-MOFs@SP). To realize the practical application of Ln-MOFs@SP, we developed a series of light-responsive smart materials, including a nanopaper (Ln-nanopaper@SP) and inks (Tb-PU-ink@SP and Tb-PEG-ink@SP). The ultrasensitive light-coloring effect of nanopapers allowed erasing under ultraviolet and white light, suggesting the potential use of these nanopapers for information storage. Based on the written and printable characteristics of ink, multi-channel, cross-disciplinary information encryption and decryption of invisible two-dimensional (2D) codes, fluorescent 2D codes, and fluorescent 3D codes were achieved by building multicolour modular 2D codes. Mestrado Bolonha em Marketing Since smartphones and online social platforms have become popular in China, people'slives have changed significantly, and watching short videos has become an important waytoenjoy leisure and entertainment. Vloggers provide high-quality videos to the Internet-usingpublic and are supported by a growing audience. These videos with Vloggers' thoughtsconsciously or unconsciously affect the behavior and thoughts of the public. As a result, referral advertising by vloggers has gradually become an emerging marketing methodandhasgained more and more attention from brands. The main objective of this paper istoinvestigate the factors that influence consumers' attitudes toward blog recommendations andto try to understand the extent to which consumers' purchase intentions are influencedbyvloggers' attitudes and attitudes toward brands. This descriptive-exploratory study used a single-method quantitative study andanon-stationary convenience sampling technique. Data were collected through anonlinequestionnaire with 243 valid responses. Subsequently, the least squares structural equationmodeling (PLS-SEM) approach was employed using SmartPLS 3.3.3 software. The resultsshow that the perceived benefits and information quality brought by vlog to the publiccansignificantly influence consumers' attitudes toward vlogger’s recommendations andthustoward brands as well. More importantly, they can effectively induce changes in consumers' purchase intentions, including attitudes toward vlogger’s recommendations and attitudestoward brands. 36. Comparative analysis of clinical treatment of HIV positive and HIV negative bladder cancer patients

Abstract

Objective: To provide clinical reference for the prevention and treatment of HIV positive bladder cancer by comparing and analyzing the basic information, laboratory examination, treatment and follow-up of HIV positive and non-HIV infected bladder cancer patients. Methods: This study collected 57 bladder cancer patients with complete data who were admitted to Beijing Ditan Hospital and Beijing You 'an Hospital from 2013 to 2021, including 14 cases in the HIV positive group and 43 cases in the HIV negative group. A retrospective analysis was conducted on the HIV infection route of HIV positive patients and whether antiviral treatment was regular. The viral load and the number of CD4+T lymphocytes before surgery were compared. The preoperative laboratory examination, pathological grade, treatment methods, 3-month recurrence and long-term follow-up of bladder cancer patients in the two groups were compared. Results: In this study, the average age of onset in the HIV positive group was (48.93±13.83) years old, while the average age of onset in the non-HIV group was (62.05±13.38) years old, and the difference was statistically significant (P0.05), but there were statistically significant differences in red blood cell values between the two groups (P0.05). The median long-term follow-up was 40 months (8-78 months). The survival rate of the two groups was HIV VS non-HIV (71.42% VS 93.02%) (P>0.05). Conclusions: The clinical characteristics of HIV-positive bladder cancer patients are similar to that of the general population, and HIV positive bladder cancer patients also follow the guidelines for the general population in terms of treatment measures. The early age of HIV positive bladder cancer patients remains to be further studied.
