Zusammenfassung Hintergrund und Anlass des in diesem Beitrag beschriebenen Erasmus-Plus-Projekts TecCOMFrame ist die europäische Situation bei der Aus- und Weiterbildung im Bereich Technische Kommunikation. Zu den wichtigsten Projektergebnissen zählen die Entwicklung eines akademischen Kompetenzrahmens, Prototyp-Curricula für Bachelor- und Masterstudiengänge und für Vertiefungsrichtungen sowie eine internationale Berufswebseite zur Projektdissemination. In diesem Beitrag wird an Hand des Demingkreises mit den Phasen „Plan - Do - Check - Act“ gezeigt, wie zur Projektdurchführung, Ergebniserarbeitung und Qualitätssicherung systematisch vorhandene EU-Instrumente eingesetzt und so strategische Ziele der EU im Bereich der Bildung adressiert und umgesetzt wurden. Außerdem sollen die Projektergebnisse durch die Übertragbarkeit und Wiederverwendbarkeit der Methodik nachhaltig bei vergleichbaren Aufgabenstellungen genutzt werden können. Schlüsselwörter: Curriculumsentwicklung, Bologna-Instrumente, Technische Kommunikation, Demingkreis, Projekt TecCOMFrame __________ Defining competence and developing curricula using EU instruments Abstract The current European situation in the field of training and further education in Technical Communication provides the background for the Erasmus-Plus project TecCOMFrame described in this contribution. The project aims at developing an academic competence framework, prototype curricula for bachelor’s and master’s programs as well as specialization streams based on that framework, and an international website for the profession intended for project dissemination. In this contribution, it will be shown by means of the Deming cycle comprising the phases „Plan - Do - Check - Act“, how the project execution, delivery of results and quality assurance are based on existing EU instruments. It is also exemplary illustrated how by doing so strategic goals of the EU in the area of education are addressed and implemented. Moreover, in view of the transferability and reusability of the method, the project results are intended to be used in a sustainable way for similar assignments. Anlaß für diese Arbeit war, daß in computergestützten Diskussionen häufig isoliert stehende, nicht referenzierte Mitteilungen auftreten. Daher will sie zeigen, wann Interaktionen auftreten, wie sie sich gestalten und wie sie sich auf den Wissenserwerb auswirken. Dazu werden zunächst die Besonderheiten kooperativen Lernens herausgestellt. Da das zentrale Moment hierbei die Kommunikation ist, wird gezeigt wie durch sie ein gemeinsames Verständnis hergestellt wird. Dies wird in Verbindung mit den Eigenschaften computergestützter Kommunikation gebracht. Daraus resultiert ein kommunikationspsychologischen Modell kooperativen Lernens in computergestützten Lerngruppen. Die erste experimentelle Untersuchung überführt dieses in empirisch prüfbare Hypothesen. Anhand eines Kategoriensystem werden die Mitteilungen und die Interaktionen von insgesamt 26 Lerngruppen zu je 4 Personen untersucht. Die Ergebnisse zeigen die Möglichkeit, Interaktionen vorherzusagen. Ferner werden zwei Faktoren identifiziert, die sich positiv auf den Wissenserwerb auswirken. Beide sind abhängig davon, ob Wissen zwischen Teilnehmern der Lerngruppe geteilt wird. Deshalb vergleicht eine zweite Studie Gruppen, in welchen ein Teilnehmer immer Wissen mit einem anderen teilt, mit Gruppen, in denen alle Teilnehmer unterschiedliches (Vor-)Wissen haben. Die Studie geht dabei von der Annahme aus, daß Gruppen mit geteiltem Wissen über Lernvorteile verfügen. Allerdings wird zudem vermutet, daß geteiltes Wissen auch negative Effekte auf die Kooperation haben kann, so daß sich dadurch die Lernvorteile wieder aufwiegen. Die Ergebnisse zeigen keine Unterschiede im Wissenstest, doch es bestätigte sich, daß geteiltes Wissen die Kopperation erschwert, die Verantwortung der einzelnen Teilnehmer herabsetzt und die Teilnehmer dieser Gruppen nicht alle Information austauschen. Die Ergebnisse münden in einem Vorschlag, wie die Vorteile von geteiltem Wissen in der Gruppe ohne negative Nebeneffekte genutzt werden können. Schegloff and Sacks (1973) noticed that form and contents of answers depend on preceding statements and called these structures 'adjacency pairs'. Typical examples are sequences of questions and answers. They appear when information is requested or could not be understood. The reason for this is often a lack of common ground between the participants in a discussion: The speaker and an addressee differ in their mutual knowledge. According to this, the central process in knowledge acquisition is the reduction of differences in knowledge by the exchange of information through interactive communication. For that, feedback about what has been understood and questions play an important role. Levin, Kim and Riel (1990) were able to demonstrate that computer supported communication lead to new kinds of 'adjacency pairs', because many referring replies could follow only one message. These studies raise up the question about the effect of the common ground between participants of computer supported cooperative learning groups on the exchange of information and the impact on knowledge acquisition. The initial study examined the process of exchanging information through interactive communication occurring in computer supported learning groups. The study analyzed the characteristics of the information which is followed by replies and the contents of these replies considering the common ground of the participants. The aim was to discover successful interactive communication in contrast to less successful processes on gaining knowledge. A further study examined how a different common ground in learning groups will influence the information exchange and the knowledge acquisition. For this, two research conditions were varied: In the first, two of four participants will have the same knowledge about a topic whereas in the other condition none of the participants share the same knowledge.
