Graphic design plays a crucial role in branding and marketing in the current digital era. Digital marketing impacts the promotion of tourist destinations. Tourism has become an important and growing sector that has influenced the development of a country's economy. Colour as an element of graphic design evokes emotions and sets a certain mood for an image or graphic. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of colour perception in graphic design in promoting tourist destinations of Southeast Europe (SEE). We aim to explore the relationship between graphic design and the tourism industry in SEE countries, focusing on their tourism logos and slogans for advertising their tourist destinations. The analysis of the main characteristics of logos and slogans shows that they can be effective tools for promoting and supporting tourism in countries in the SEE region. It was observed that there is compatibility between the colours used in the logo and the country flag in 64% of the tourism logos of SEE countries. The colour green is the most commonly used colour in logo design.

Naemacyclus fimbriatus is reported for the second time from the Balkan Peninsula, observed on fallen female pine cones from collections in Vitosha region (Vitosha and Plana Mts) and Rila Mts. Stictis radiata is recorded in Bulgaria on bark of living Platanus tree in Belasitsa Mts. The materials, examined under light microscopes, are presented with brief descriptions and colour illustrations. Notes on the known distribution and ecology are included.

Objective: The article authors aim to make an extensive review of the current literature to clarify the conceptual apparatus and the difference between travel agencies and their users, as well as to trace the extent to which digitalization supports the communication between them from the COVID -19 transformation opportunities impact. To achieve this, the authors will first look at why and how COVID-19 can be an opportunity for transformation, discussing the circumstances and issues which are raised by the pandemic.Methodology:The article authors use a questionnaire to show in percentage terms the extent to which digitalization transforms and whether it improves communication between stakeholders. This type of research is the most widespread, because the feedback from the respondents can be assessed the fastest and to measure their satisfaction with the services in all areas of tourism, but especially in terms of tourist communication. The popularity of this method is due on the one hand to the different forms of conducting a survey (classic questionnaire, graphic questionnaire, mobile application), as well as the variety of means by which the method can be applied (electronic survey, paper survey, telephone survey). Surveys are widely recognizable among consumers,and they are generally open and willing to answer questions, especially if they are popular, attractively designed, time-consuming and easy to complete. The survey is among the methods thatare suitable for constant, daily receiving feedback and measuring satisfaction.In order the survey to be effective, the authors of the article make an electronic version in which the risk of making a statistical error that would divert or change the rate of regression or decline is reduced. The survey was successfully conducted due to the current topic of the article and the motivation of the respondents. Correctly filled in questionnaires are 100 in number and they include not only travel agents but also their long-term users, the results are illustrated in the form of graphs, cakes, and are calculated in percentage so that one can confirm from the hypotheses that the authors set at the beginning of the study.Results: The article will also look at the main impacts, behaviors and experiences by three major tourism stakeholders (tourism demand, supply and destination management organizations and politicians) during the three phases of COVID-19 (response, recovery and reset).Implication: In this way, this article identifies the basic values, institutions and suggestionswhich the tourism industry and the scientific community must challenge and break in order to advance and zero the boundaries of research and practice.This provides an overview of the type and scale of tourism impacts and the COVID-19 implications in the tourism field.

Stroke is a leading cause of disability worldwide and upper limb hemiparesis is the most common post-stroke disability. Recent studies suggest that clinically significant motor recovery is possible in chronic stroke survivors with severe impairment of the upper limb. Three promising strategies that have been investigated are (1) high dose rehabilitation therapy (2) bilateral motor priming and (3) vagus nerve stimulation. We propose that the future of effective and efficient upper limb rehabilitation will likely require a combination of these approaches.

Abstract Background Various priming techniques to enhance neuroplasticity have been examined in stroke rehabilitation research. Most priming techniques are costly and approved only for research. Here, we describe a priming technique that is cost-effective and has potential to significantly change clinical practice. Bilateral motor priming uses the Exsurgo priming device (Exsurgo Rehabilitation, Auckland, NZ) so that the less affected limb drives the more affected limb in bilateral symmetrical wrist flexion and extension. The aim of this study is to determine the effects of a 5-week protocol of bilateral motor priming in combination with task-specific training on motor impairment of the affected limb, bimanual motor function, and interhemispheric inhibition in moderate to severely impaired people with stroke. Methods Seventy-six participants will be randomized to receive either 15, 2-h sessions, 3 times per week for 5 weeks (30 h of intervention) of bilateral motor priming and task-specific training (experimental group) or the same dose of control priming plus the task-specific training protocol. The experimental group performs bilateral symmetrical arm movements via the Exsurgo priming device which allows both wrists to move in rhythmic, symmetrical wrist flexion and extension for 15 min. The goal is one cycle (wrist flexion and wrist extension) per second. The control priming group receives transcutaneous electrical stimulation below sensory threshold for 15 min prior to the same 45 min of task-specific training. Outcome measures are collected at pre-intervention, post-intervention, and follow-up (8 weeks post-intervention). The primary outcome measure is the Fugl-Meyer Test of Upper Extremity Function. The secondary outcome is the Chedoke Arm and Hand Activity Index-Nine, an assessment of bimanual functional tasks. Discussion To date, there are only 6 studies documenting the efficacy of priming using bilateral movements, 4 of which are pilot or feasibility studies. This is the first large-scale clinical trial of bilateral priming plus task-specific training. We have previously completed a feasibility intervention study of bilateral motor priming plus task-specific training and have considerable experience using this protocol. Trial registration ClinicalTrials.gov NCT03517657 . Retrospectively registered on May 7, 2018.

Security and defence issues have always been the subject of scientific and artistic interest. The topicality of the researched issues is especially emphasized in the conditions of changing the concepts of security and bringing them from the traditional level to a level reflecting the modern reality. The article attempts to review the genesis and development of the security concept by presenting related and fundamental concepts, related and synonymous terms of the term "security", and various levels of security. The authors try to briefly describe the problem, which is reflected in a number of Bulgarian and international scientific and legislative sources, and which reflects the research purpose of the presented work.

We present a rare malignant melanoma of the right adrenal gland and periureteral adipose tissue leading to ureteral stenosis with the subsequent hydronephrotic transformation of the right kidney and pyonephrosis in a 67-year-old man.

Hemangiomas are benign vascular lesion, most commonly seen in liver and skin. Urethral hemangiomas are very rare benign vascular tumors with varying size and usually present as urethral bleeding or hematuria. We are presenting a 64 years old male, who was admitted to our Urology Department with symptoms of intermittent urethral bleeding for 6 months. We performed flexible cystoscopy under general anesthesia and a single hemangiomatous lesion of 7 mm in diameter located in the navicular fossa was found. The SIRIUS 60W Thulium Fiber Laser for removing the lesion was used.

This article deals with the terms ‘Sclavinia’ and ‘Sclavoarchontia’, which are used in historiography in different and even contradictory ways, and aims to clarify a highly complicated topic, investigating the ways these terms were used by contemporaries, trying to define differences between them and connecting their use with the political changes of the time. Topics discussed include the chronology of the terms’ usage, different ways in which they were being used, relations of ‘Sclavinia’ and ‘Sclavoarchontia’ with the Empire, their appearance and disappearance and the political processes connected with it, as well as the analysis of the existing interpretations. The first part mostly discusses chronology and some existing hypotheses. The second (and the main) part analyses the way these terms were used and tries to define them. The hypothesis presented connects these terms with the re-establishing of imperial authority in the Balkans, marked in the sources by replacing the term ‘Slavic nations’, which had been used until the late 8th century to denote the independent Balkan Slavic societies and their lands. The Empire lacked the capacity for direct subjugation of the independent Slavic communities and was forced to rely on complicated measures including colonization and ensuring Slav cooperation in the process. In the themes where the Empire had enough power, Slavic communities were organized as ‘Sclavoarchontias’, who received archons from the strategos, paid collective tribute and served as symahoi, but kept some inner autonomy. The Empire also tended to ensure the cooperation of Slavic communities around themes by granting titles and subsidies to some powerful Slavic leaders, which led to the creation of client states known as ‘Sclavinias’. They were not part of the thematic system, they had their native and hereditary leaders recognized and affirmed by the emperor by titles and seals and act as imperial allies. A prototype of both had appeared at the end of the 7th century, but only when relations of such types had multiplied after Stauracius’ expedition in 783, corresponding generic terms appeared and became regular.
