ABSTRACT Objective Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP1) and leptin (Lep) are afferent signals that regulate energy metabolism. Lactational hypernutrition results in hyperphagia and adiposity in adult life, and these events can be prevented by exercise. We evaluated the effects of swimming training on hypothalamic (GLP1-R) and Lep receptor (Lep-R) gene expressions in lactational hypernutrition-induced obesity. Methods On the 3rd postnatal day, the litter sizes of lactating dams were adjusted to small litters (SL; 3 pups/dams) or normal litters (NL; 9 pups/dams). After weaning (21 days), NL and SL male rats were randomly distributed to sedentary (Sed) and exercised (Exe) groups. Exercised mice swam (30 min/3 times/week) for 68 days. Food intake and body weight gain were registered. At 92 days, intraperitoneal glucose and insulin tolerance tests were performed and rats were euthanized at 93 days; adipose tissue depots were weighed, and blood counts and plasma biochemical analyses performed. Hypothalamus were isolated to evaluate Lep-R and GLP1-R gene expressions. Results Small litters sedentary rats presented increased body weight gain, adiposity, insulin sensibility and higher fasting values of glucose and triglycerides, besides higher hypothalamic gene expressions of Lep-R and GLP1-R, compared to NLSed animals. SLExe rats did not develop obesity or metabolic abnormalities and Lep-R and GLP1-R hypothalamic gene expressions were normalized. Conclusion Lactational hypernutrition induces obesity and metabolic dysfunction in adult life, in association with higher hypothalamic expressions of the Lep-R and GLP1-R genes. Exercise prevented obesity and improved metabolic state in SL overnourished rats, and normalized their hypothalamic Lep-R and GLP1-R gene expressions.

Media sosial Tiktok semakin diminati oleh remaja, sehingga remaja sering kali melakukan social comparison yang pada akhirnya berpotensi berpengaruh pada self esteem. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui mengenai apakah ada pengaruh social comparison dan juga adiksi Tiktok pada Self-esteem remaja. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif desain korelasional dengan 182 remaja (18-21 tahun) sebagai subjek penelitian. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui survei dengan kuesioner online dengan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel social comparison dan adiksi Tiktok memiliki pengaruh terhadap self esteem dengan nilai p dibawah 0,05 dengan kontribusi sebesar 8,7%, sehingga menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima.

The increase in internet users and the lack of ethics in using the internet have become one of the phenomena that triggercy berbullying on social media among adolescents. Various internal and external factors can influence cyberbullying attitudes, including moral disengagement and authoritarian parenting style. This study examines the role of moral disengagement and authoritarian parenting style towards cyberbullying attitudes in social media users. The participants in this study were 271 junior high school students aged 12-15 years, accessing social media for more than 2 hours a day and living with both parents. The data collection method used a survey by distributing questionnaires to junior highschools in Surabaya. The scales used were Cyberbullying Attitudes, Moral Disengagement Scale, and Authoritarian Parenting Style (PAQ). The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis. Health workers are professionals with high exposure to various types of stress; therefore, they need resilience to survive in their profession. This research aims to test the effect of social support and calling on resilience in health workers. It is a quantitative-correlational study conducted cross-sectionally. The instruments used were the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, Multidimensional Support Scale, and Calling Scale. Snowball sampling was used to identify participants, consisting of 113 health workers in East Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia. The data were analyzed with multiple linear regression techniques. Significant effects of social support and calling were found on resilience (p .01, F = 34.224), with calling shown to have more significant impact (p .01, F = 60.685) and 35.3% effective contribution. Amongst the types of social support, coworkers make the most significant contribution of 11.8% (p .01, F = 14.816), followed by family members at 9.6% (p .01, F = 11.752). On the other hand, social support from supervisors does not affect resilience (p .05, F = 0.904). Health workers should seek the social support they need proactively, and prospective health workers should consider their calling when choosing a career.

ABSTRACT Female adolescents are prone to iron deficiency anemia due to regular menstrual cycles and loss of basal, thus requiring sufficient iron intake from food consumed daily. The concept of the Health Belief Model which consists of perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefit, perceived barrier, and self efficacy helps to take action on the prevention of anemia. This study aimed to analyze the correlation of knowledge, the Health Belief Model, and consumption patterns with anemic status at Saint Stanislaus High School. This study used a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all female students in grade X and XI of Saint Stanislaus Senior High School, totaling 84 people. The cluster random sampling technique was used to calculate the total amount of samples, totaling 46 people as the sample of this study. The data collected included respondent characteristics, knowledge rate, construction of Health Belief Model, consumption patterns of iron source foods differentiated into levels of adequacy and frequency of eating, and anemia status. The results of this study showed that 14 of the respondents aged 16 years experienced anemia (30.43%). The correlation of knowledge and the incidence of anemia significantly correlated, with a p-value of 0.044 (p 0.005). Primary intrapulmonary thymomas (PITs) are defined as thymomas arising in intrapulmonary locations, without an associated mediastinal component. They are rare lesions, the diagnosis of which can be very difficult. We present a case of PIT in an asymptomatic 74-year-old woman in whom pulmonary nodules were found on pulmonary angiography performed for an episode of pulmonary embolism. She underwent wedge resection and the pathology report revealed a PIT. We also summarize this patient’s clinicopathological features and discuss the diagnosis, pathogenesis, and treatment of PIT.

A case of occult carcinoma of the ureteral stump is reported. A 67-year-old man presented with pain syndrome due to multiple bone metastases from unknown primary origin detected by previous imaging studies as magnetic resonance imaging, whole body contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT), and technetium-99m methyldiphosphonate bone scan. He had undergone a right nephrectomy for a benign disease previously. He was referred to our department for an 18F-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose (18F-FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) to help localize possible primary tumor. Our observations in this case show that the use of 18F-FDG PET/CT successfully and more accurately evaluated the overall tumor burden and led to a rapid decision of an adequate therapeutic approach.

Background: The foodservice system in Children Penitentiary is an action for fulfilling the nutritional needs of prisoners. Lack of nutrition that is not by the standard, will result in the occurrence of nutritional problems and reduce the health status for prisoners during the coaching period. One indicator for better quality access to food services is to explore how the perceptions of prisoners on food services which are provided by the institution. Objective: The aims of this study was to determine the perceptions of inmates on the quality of service and provision of food at the Children Penitentiary Class IA, Blitar Regency. Method: This study used a qualitative approach with a semi-structured deep interview and observation method to explore data deeply and holistically. The informants consisted of 10 people and the criteria for key informants were between age range from 15 until 20 years old. Result: The results of the study showed that there were factors that influenced the perception of food quality assessment in LPKA, including internal factors, such as the emergence of eating behaviour and formation of eating culture among other prisoners. Besides assessment, there also included the taste of food, a portion of food, variety of menus, food hygiene, also the food from visitors or family. Conclusion: Eating behavior among prisoners forms a new culture in the scope of Class IA LPKA Blitar, which is a culture of joint eating or "kembul" which creates a sense of family among prisoners.

The development of entrepreneurial orientation cannot be separated from the role of parenting. While emerging adolescents tend to try to break away from their parents because they want to be closer to their peers. This purpose of this study is discovering differences of entrepreneurial orientation based on parental attachments to father, mother or both. This study used the survey method to 291 emerging adolescents in six major cities on the island of Java, Indonesia. The results showed that early adolescents who were close to both parents had higher entrepreneurial orientation than they who were only close to once parent or not close to both parents. This study also examined the role of parental attachment on each dimension of the entrepreneurial orientation.

Setiap pasangan suami istri (pasutri) memiliki pembagian tanggung jawab di dalam kehidupan rumah tangga, saling berkomunikasi, dan menerima segala perubahan yang terjadi pada pasangan sepanjang waktu di dalam kehidupan perkawinan. Akan tetapi, ada kalanya suatu keluarga tidak dapat tinggal dalam satu rumah dan hidup berdampingan setiap harinya. Perpisahan secara fisik antar pasutri merupakan suatu hal yang sangat berat, di mana pemenuhan tugas perkawinan menjadi tidak efektif karena pasutri tidak dapat bertemu setiap saat. Rasa percaya menjadi masalah penting bagi pasutri dengan jarak yang terpisah, yang dapat membantu pasutri mempertahankan rumah tangga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian fenomenologis dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara pada tiga pasutri dengan rentang usia 18-40 tahun yang menjalani perkawinan jarak jauh sejak awal pernikahan dengan usia pernikahan maksimal 18 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rasa percaya dalam perkawinan jarak jauh dapat dilihat dari 5 aspek, yaitu aspek keterbukaan, saling berbagi, penerimaan, dukungan, dan bekerja sama. Terdapat dua faktor utama yang mempengaruhi subyek tetap bertahan dengan kondisi pernikahan jarak jauh yaknifaktor ekonomi dan budaya setempat yang mengharuskan subyek perempuan untuk menjaga orangtuanya yang sudah lanjut usia di tempat asal. Selain dua faktor tersebut, terdapat juga faktor lainnya, seperti faktor komunikasi, pemuasan kebutuhan seksual, dan usia pernikahan.

Sekolah inklusi merupakan sebuah program yang dikembangkan oleh pemerintah yang bertujuan untuk memberi kesempatan bagi siswa yang memiliki disabilitas agar dapat menempuh pendidikan di sekolah reguler bersama dengan siswa normal pada umumnya. Dalam sekolah inklusi sistem belajar yang diterapkan adalah dengan menggabungkan siswa reguler (normal) dengan siswa difabel di kelas yang sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tipe kepribadian ekstrover-introvert dengan penerimaan sosial pada siswa reguler terhadap siswa difabel di sekolah inklusi SMKN 27 Jakarta. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasional. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi reguler di SMKN 27 Jakarta tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 105 orang. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposivesampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi pearson-product moment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penelitian ini didominasi oleh responden yang memiliki tipe kepribadian ekstrovert dengan persentase 60,95%. Sementara pada variabel penerimaan sosial, responden memiliki penerimaan sosial yang cenderung rendah. Hal ini dibuktikan dari total persentase pada kategori sangat rendah (23,81%) dan kategori rendah (24,76%) sehingga keduannya menjadi 48,57%. Hasil uji korelasi, menunjukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara tipe kepribadian ekstrovert-introvert dengan penerimaan sosial pada siswa reguler terhadap siswa difabel di sekolah inklusi SMK N 27 Jakarta (p > 0.05). Several previous studies on entrepreneurial orientation are studied were examined in the bussiness context and show the contribution of internal factors within individuals to the development of entrepreneurial orientation. However, only a few research that focused on entrepreneurship orientation in the context of education, especially for junior high school students in Java Island. This study aims to examine external factors, about authoritative parenting, and creativity climate for the entrepreneurial orientation of junior high school students. The research respondents were 291 junior high school adolescents in Jakarta, Tangerang, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Semarang and Surabaya. Data collection was carried out from August to November 2019. The data were analyzed using multiple regressions. The results showed that there was a significant influence between the authoritative parenting and the creativity climate on entrepreneurial orientation. The role of parents in providing responsible freedom to children allows children to be more courageous in facing risks, innovative, and open to competitive situations. The creative climate at school allows students to express their ideas and get used to solving problems. Abstract — Couples have the responsibility in domestic life, communicating with each other, and accept any changes that occur in marital life. Physical separation between couples is severe, where the fulfillment of the task of marriage becomes ineffective because couples can’t be met at all times. Trust becomes an important issue for couples with a distance apart, which can help couples maintain a household. This research is a phenomenological study, using interview techniques at the three couples aged 18-40 years who underwent commuter marriage since the beginning of the marriage with a maximum of 18 years of marriage. The results showed that trust in a commuter marriage can be seen from five aspects, such as openness, sharing, acceptance, support, and cooperate. There are two main factors that affect the subject remained with the conditions, commuter marriage is the economic factor and cultural factors that require women to take care her parents. In addition, there are other factors, such as the communication factor, the gratification of sexual needs, and marriage age. Business owners, especially successful ones, can be assumed to have eminently developed an entrepreneurial orientation ever since their high school days. However, thus far there is no standardized scale to specifically measure entrepreneurial orientation behavior in high school students. This study analyzes the dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation in 368 high school students in six major cities on the island of Java, Indonesia. Items of the scale are arranged based on five dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation by Lumpkin and Dess. The result of the exploratory analysis indicates four dimensions that are proven valid and reliable, namely innovativeness, risky proactiveness, autonomy, and competitiveness. However, the result of external validity test shows only three valid dimensions, hence leading to the exclusion of the autonomy dimension from this scale. This scale can be implemented by educators to identify and develop entrepreneurial orientation in high school students.
