In this work, we have investigated a novel aspect of black hole (BH) formation during the collapse of a self-gravitating configuration. The exact solution of the Einstein field equations is obtained in a model-independent way by considering a parametrization of the expansion scalar ($\Theta$) in the background of spherically symmetric space-time geometry governed by the FLRW metric. Smooth matching of the interior solution with the Schwarzschild exterior metric across the boundary hypersurface of the star, together with the condition that the mass function $m(t,r)$ is equal to Schwarzschild mass $M$, is used to obtain all the physical and geometrical parameters in terms of the stellar mass. The four known massive stars namely $R136a3$, $Melnick$, $R136c$, and $R136b$ with their known astrophysical data (mass, radius, and present age) are used to study the physics of the model both numerically and graphically. We demonstrate that the formation of the apparent horizon occurs earlier than the singular state that is, the model of massive stars would inevitably lead to the formation of a BH as their end state. We have conducted an analysis indicating that the lifespans of massive stars are closely related to their respective masses. Our findings demonstrate that more massive stars exhibit considerably shorter lifespans in comparison to their lighter counterparts. Thus, the presented model corresponds to the evolutionary stages of astrophysical stellar objects and theoretically predicts their possible lifespan. We have also shown that our model satisfies the energy conditions and stability requirements via Herrera's cracking method.

In the current study, we investigate a scalar field cosmological model with Lyra's geometry to explain the present cosmic expansion in a homogeneous and isotropic flat FRW universe. In Einstein's field equations, we presupposed a variable displacement vector as an element of Lyra's geometry. In the context of the conventional theory of gravity, we suggest a suitable parameterization of the scalar field's dark energy density in the hybrid function of redshift $z$, confirming the essential transition behavior of the universe from a decelerating era to the present accelerated scenario. We present constraints on model parameters using the most recent observational data sets from OHD, BAO/CMB, and Pantheon, taking Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) analysis into account. For the proposed model, the best estimated values of parameters for the combined dataset (OHD, BAO/CMB, and Pantheon) are $ H_0 = 71.15\pm 0.26$ km/s/Mpc, $ \Omega_{m0}=0.2625\pm 0.0024$, $ \Omega_{\phi0} = 0.676\pm0.038$, $ \alpha=-0.22\pm0.13$, $n = 0.096\pm0.079$, and $k = 0.38\pm0.32$. The model exhibits a flipping nature, and the redshift transition occurs at $z_t = 0.756^{+0.005}_{-0.015}$. The current value of the decelerated parameter for the proposed model is calculated as $q_0 = -0.625^{+0.067}_{-0.085}$ for the combined dataset. Some dynamical properties of the model like energy density ($\rho_{\phi}$), scalar field pressure ($p_{\phi}$), EoS parameter of scalar field ($\omega_{\phi}$), and effective EoS parameter ($\omega_{eff}$) are analyzed and presented. Further, we have also examined the statefinder diagnosis and jerk parameters of the derived model. In this study, we continue our previous work (Annu et al., 2023) by introducing a novel parametrization of the expansion scalar $\Theta $ as a rational function of cosmic time $t$. The paper provides a comprehensive analysis of a homogeneous gravitational collapsing system, wherein the exact solutions of the Einstein field equations (EFEs) are determined using a new parametrization of $\Theta$ in a model-independent way. The model is especially significant for the astrophysical applications because we have addressed the physical and geometrical quantities of the model in terms of Schwarzschild mass $M$. We have estimated the numerical value of the model parameter involved in the functional form of $\Theta$-parametrization using the masses \& radii data of some massive stars namely, Westerhout 49-2, BAT99-98, R136a1, R136a2, WR 24, Pismis 24-1, $\lambda$ Cephei, $\alpha$ Camelopardalis, $\beta$ Canis Majoris. We have presented theoretical investigations about such astrophysical stellar systems. This paper considers the spherically symmetric gravitational collapse in the background of Chaplygin gas as dark energy component. The dark energy is assumed to be generalized and modified Chaplygin gas. The exterior of the star is considered to be Schwarzschild de-sitter/anti-de sitter metric and discusses the junction conditions. We have discussed the singularity formation in both forms of chaplygin gas case and it is obtained that such collapsing fluids favor the formation of black-hole.

A new class of self-gravitating collapsing star models with perfect fluid distributions is discussed in this work. The paper has a comprehensive analysis of a homogeneous gravitational collapsing system wherein using a parametrization scheme for the expansion-scalar $(\Theta )$, the solutions of the Einstein Field Equations (EFEs) are determined independently. The background geometry for the analysis is considered to be homogeneous and isotropic represented by a Friedmann-Leimatre-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) metric and by employing the boundary conditions, we have discussed the solution in more detail. Further, all the physical and geometrical parameters are obtained in terms of Schwarzschild mass $(M)$ that makes the model significant in astrophysical applications. The singularity analysis of the collapsing system is also discussed by the apparent-horizon, and it has seen that the homogenous gravitational collapse turns into a new kind of scenario- Eternal collapsing object.

The present paper deals with the gravitational collapse of an inhomogeneous spherical star consisting of dust fluid in the background of dark energy components with linear equation of state. We discussed the development of apparent horizon to investigate the black-hole formation in gravitational collapsing process. The collapsing process is examined first separately for dust cloud and dark energy and then under the combined effect of dust interacting with dark energy. It is obtained that when only dust cloud or dark energy is present the collapse leads to the formation of black-hole under certain conditions. When both of them are present, collapsing star does not form black-hole. However when dark energy is considered as cosmological constant, the collapse leads to black hole formation.

In this paper, we have studied the gravitational baryogenesis of isotropic and homogeneous universe in the frame-work of general relativity. We investigate an exact and new solution of Einstein's field equations for FRW metric. Our solution represents a transitioning model of the universe which was expanding in decelerated mode and it transit in accelerated mode after dominance of cosmological constant $\Lambda$. The present work deals with the dynamics of radiating star which is considered to be expansion free cylindrical symmetric dust dissipative fluids. Several treatments are adopted for the description of geometrical and physical features of such stars. Firstly, it is shown that, the dynamical star does not permit the streaming out limit and diffusion approximation and also proved that acceleration and dissipation are necessary for its dynamical evolution. It has also shown that, a static expansion free cylinder must be non-radiating. Secondly, the existence of cavity model and self-similar solution for the such dynamical star are also investigated.
