The results of the proton relaxation time dispersion measurements on Ge(CH3)4 at temperatures below 26 K show that the maximum of the T-1ZT dispersion curve decreased and the linewidth increases as the temperature is decreased. This cannot be accounted for by any version of the correlation function perturbation approach which at low temperatures, on tunneling resonance nω0=ωt gives a relaxation rate proportional to the correlation time. However if the tunneling linewidth is due to the torsion–torsion interaction—which is averaged out at higher temperatures—the observed behavior is explained. From the observed low temperature tunneling linewidth the torsion–torsion interaction in this material is estimated to be 30 MHz. The results of multipulse saturation sequence measurments at the maximum of the T-1ZT dispersion curve are presented and discussed in terms of a population-transfer model. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We report on the measurements of the deuterium Zeeman and quadrupolar spin-lattice relaxation times and the deuterium spin–spin relaxation time in the nematic, smectic A and C phases of a ring-deuterated 4-n-pentyloxybenzylidene-4’-n-heptylaniline. The spectral densities of motion J0(0), J1(ω0), and J2(2ω0) at ω0/2π=14.73 MHz were separated from the above relaxation times. A simple ‘‘rotational diffusion in a cone’’ model was used to account for the observed increase in J1(ω0) and the decrease in J2(2ω0) in the nematic phase as the temperature was decreased. The model of rotational diffusion in a restoring potential was also examined. Our data can be understood qualitatively using the strong collision model or semiquantitatively using the cone model. The restricted rotational diffusion in a cone model supports the molecular reorientations being in the intermediate motion regime (ω0τ[bar_over_tilde:_approx._equal_to]1). Additional information on Jp(ω) such as its frequency dependence are required to check the various assumptions used in the above motional models. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The data was collected from the Annual Reports of SERC and analyzed based on Impact factor. The Impact Factor (IF) was examined with the help of Science Citation Index provided by Journal Citation Report (JCR IF). This analysis highlights yearly output, publications in national and international journals, number of papers in SCI and non-SCI journals, Normalized Impact Factor (NIF) per paper, number of papers in the proceedings of national and international conferences / workshops / seminars / symposia etc., category-wise distribution of papers in different NIF ranges, the proportion of high NIF papers and papers above the average NIF.
