With the rapid development of science and technology, especially the rapid progress of the Internet, the e-commerce industry has ushered in unprecedented development opportunities. However, existing e-commerce platforms still have many problems in terms of user experience and functionality, such as the lack of accuracy in the recommendation system, inconsistency in product descriptions, and lack of reliability in user reviews. In this paper, we design and implement an online shopping mall system based on Spring Boot and Vue framework, aiming to improve user experience through advanced information technology and optimization algorithms. The system is developed in Java language, and the architecture is divided into Filter/Interceptor Layer, Controller Layer, Service Layer, and Dao Layer, which ensures the efficiency and maintainability of the system. The introduction of collaborative filtering algorithms significantly improves the accuracy of product recommendations, provides personalized services, and improves the user shopping experience. Meanwhile, the dynamically updated sensitive word filtering mechanism safeguards the healthy environment of the comment area and improves user trust. The experimental results show that the system achieves the expected goals in terms of functionality and performance, which provides a reference and reference for the development of future e-commerce platforms. Pembayaran digital yang dibantu dengan EDC atau QREDC adalah contoh wujud nyata dari financial technology yang menyediakan kecepatan dan kepraktisan dalam aktivitas pembayaran. Salah satu yang masih dalam ruang lingkup EDC adalah manajemen inventori EDC. Apabila manajemennya merasakan kesulitan dalam menghadapi banyaknya EDC yang terus meningkat untuk diproses dan keperluan data yang tepat serta terkini, jadi butuh dikembangkan suatu sistem web inventori EDC. Sistem tersebut bertujuan untuk mengontrol dan mengawasi semua proses pada EDC yang mencakup pengadaan, pemrosesan, persediaan, pendistribusian, dan pengembalian, dengan data yang tepat dan terkini. Sistem juga dikembangkan dengan metode waterfall, teknologi back-end berupa bahasa pemrograman Java, framework Spring Boot, dan database PostgreSQL, serta teknologi front-end berupa template Thymeleaf, library jQuery, dan AJAX. Metode waterfall dan semua teknologi tersebut membuat pengerjaan kode mudah dan cepat dengan mengetahui kebutuhan sistem yang komprehensif dan detail. Hasilnya, sistem web inventori EDC berhasil dikembangkan dan beroperasi dengan baik dan tepat dengan kebutuhan melalui fitur-fitur di dalamnya.

Increasing popularity of web applications has led to the development of many technologies that enable their production, both on the client and server side. This article attempts to compare three most popular server-side frameworks – Django, Spring Boot and Express. Each of the selected technologies is based on a different programming language. These frameworks were compared in terms of request processing time and reliability. Within the conducted research three backend applications handling HTTP requests were created, all of them using the same database consisting of employees’ data. Afterwards, a series of load tests was performed to determine levels of efficiency and reliability of created applications for various numbers of virtual users sending requests to the server at the same time. Five test cases with the following number of requests: 1000, 2000, 4000, 8000, and 16000 were planned and performed for each type of HTTP requests handled by the server simultaneously. Based on the obtained results, it was concluded that the Spring Boot framework was the best in terms of request processing time and high reliability. However, it was noted that for many test cases under extreme load, it had a significantly higher percentage of incorrectly processed requests compared to the Express application, even though the application was noticeably slower. The worst results were observed for Django because the test application created for this framework revealed the longest requests processing time and the highest error rate during processing requests out of the three tested applications. The performed studies helped to determine the efficiency and reliability of the tested technologies at various levels of load. Furthermore, the studies were crucial in obtaining knowledge about the evaluated frameworks as well as their properties and formulating conclusions that will be able to help the developers choose technologies before the implementation of their programming projects.

This document provides a comparative analysis of three popular server-side frameworks - Express, Django, and Spring Boot. The study tested the efficiency and reliability of these frameworks by creating backend applications and conducting load tests with different numbers of virtual users. The results showed that Spring Boot had the best request processing time and high reliability, while Express had a lower error rate but was slower. Django performed the worst, with the longest request processing time and highest error rate. Micro-services architecture has changed the paradigm of software designing and software development behaviour as they are lightweight, easy adoptable, faster to be built and deploy at business servers. The nature of today’s market changes so abruptly that the software industry faces problems or impediments to hit the market demand due to complex, large, monolith clumsy applications which are complex to be broken easily and eventually fails to hit time-to-market approach. In this work, a novel migration approach has been proposed to improve the business deliveries and cover time-to-market approach by using advanced Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process and sophisticated Devops and cloud tools like Jenkins, Git and Amazon cloud which has micro-services deployed in the containerization form. Finally, a model and a robust system has been investigated and proposed in terms of decomposition, testing, security, performance, inter service communication, persistence, transaction management aspects. The whole analysis revolved around to propose a novel approach to how to reduce the build and deployment time and make the end business product available to end customer in a faster and rapid way. En TecNM Campus Escárcega, los docentes y alumnos pertenecientes a la carrera de Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales, utilizan el paradigma de desarrollo monolítico. Sin embargo, las necesidades actuales apuntan a nuevos enfoques de desarrollo como son los micro-servicios. Este trabajo presenta una arquitectura de software para el desarrollo de aplicaciones web orientada a micro-servicios con la finalidad de tener una herramienta que mantenga o aumente los niveles de productividad y disminuya los tiempos de desarrollo a partir de los niveles de usabilidad de los docentes y alumnos de este campus, como cuando crean aplicaciones monolíticas. Con la finalidad de lograr lo antes mencionado, se diseñó y creó una aplicación web en Angular para el consumo de micro-servicios en Spring Boot. La integración de las dos partes permite tener una arquitectura reutilizable para la creación de software orientado a micro-servicios al momento de iniciar un nuevo proyecto institucional. El cálculo de los niveles de satisfacción de la arquitectura propuesta por parte de los docentes y alumnos evaluados, consistió en medir dos métricas con base en la literatura: productividad y usabilidad. Los resultados demuestran que los alumnos y docentes de la institución, que al menos tienen un proyecto relacionado a una aplicación web, están conformes con el uso de la arquitectura propuesta al momento de crear un nuevo proyecto, ya que muestra un nivel superior de 4.36 puntos de 5 en la escala Likert, en contraste con el desarrollo de una aplicación monolítica que indica un nivel de conformidad inferior con un valor de 4.24 puntos de 5 en la escala Likert. Es decir, que el uso de la arquitectura propuesta reduce los tiempos de desarrollo a partir de los niveles de usabilidad y aumenta los niveles de productividad en comparación con el paradigma monolítico. Con esto, se permite que los docentes y alumnos de TecNM campus Escárcega se encuentren vigentes en conocimientos tecnológicos y puedan migrar al uso de nuevas tecnologías y paradigmas de desarrollo con base en las nuevas tendencias tecnológicas, como es el caso de los micro-servicios.

With the ever-increasing wide spread of the Internet, the number of web services, web applications, and IoT devices is growing every year. This brings a number of challenges, both in terms of network bandwidth and the ability to scale individual computing nodes, whether they are large systems running in computing clouds or smaller IoT devices running closer to their data sources (so-called edge computing). In both cases, the way to cope with handling large numbers of users/requests is horizontal scaling, the implementation of which today is using the concept of microservices. However, the concept itself is not enough—we need ready-made application frameworks that allow us to easily implement and deploy efficient services. In the case of the Java ecosystem, which is one of the most mature platforms for enterprise-class software development, several frameworks dedicated to the development of microservices have been engineered recently. These tools support system developers in implementing communication, computation, and data storage mechanisms. However, so far, there is a lack of comparative analysis of individual solutions in the scholarly discourse to assess their performance and production maturity, so the authors in this article try to fill this gap. Based on synthetic tests developed by the authors, the most promising frameworks (Spring Boot, Micronaut, Quarkus) were analyzed both in terms of computational, compilation, or deployment performance. Reading and analyzing data from sensors are crucial in many areas of life. IoT concepts and related issues are becoming more and more popular, but before we can process data and draw conclusions, we need to think about how to design an application. The most popular solutions today are microservices and monolithic architecture. In addition to this choice, there is also the question of the technology in which you will work. There are more and more of them on the market and in each of them it is practically possible to achieve similar results, but the difference lies in how quickly it will be possible and whether the approach invented will turn out to be the most optimal. Making the right decisions at the beginning of application development can determine its path to success or failure. The main goal of this article was to compare technologies used in applications based on microservice architecture. The preparation of a book lending system, whose server part was implemented in three different versions, each using a different type of technology, helped to achieve this goal. The compared solutions were: Spring Boot, Micronaut and Quarkus. The reason for this research was to investigate projects using sensor networks, ranging from telemedicine applications to extensive sensor networks collecting scientific data, or working in an environment with limited resources, e.g., with BLE or WIFI transmitters, where it is critical to supply energy to these transmitters. Therefore, the issue of efficiency and hence energy savings may be a key issue depending on the selected programming technology. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article presents the results of a comparative analysis of Spring (with Spring Boot configuration), Micronaut and Quarkus programming frameworks. The recently observed increase in popularity of these solutions made it necessary to determine their application profile. In order to determine the characteristics of the researched technologies, a series of performance and optimization tests of applications built on the basis of the above-mentioned programming frameworks were carried out. The results of the analyzes showed that thanks to the high degree of optimization, the Micronaut and Quarkus skeletons are perfectly adapted to work in cloud environments, while Spring (Boot) framework, despite its lower efficiency, is an irreplacible solution in complex projects.

The article describes a comparative analysis of the ASP.NET Core and Spring Boot framework ecosystems. The research was carried out on the basis of implemented two applications with identical functionality, which use the PostgreSQL database engine. In the implementation of the application, appropriate ORM tools were used to perform database operations, ie Spring Data and Entity Framework Core, technologies enabling the implementation of authentication and authorization (Spring Security and ASP.NET Core Identity) and several additional libraries that simplify the entire process of building the application. The criteria of comparison were the ease and intuitiveness of a given tool in the implementation of the application, the offered possibilities of the tools implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, the efficiency of database operations, the general structure of the application and basic code metrics. Based on the research, it was found that Spring Data technology is a faster tool than Entity Framework Core, while Spring Security, unlike Asp.Net Core Identity, is less integrated into the framework ecosystem.

Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs) are programming languages designed specifically to express solutions to problems in a particular domain. It is said they foster productivity and quality. In this work we describe CRUDyLeaf, a DSL focused on the generation of Spring Boot REST APIs from entity CRUD operations. Spring Boot is an open source Java-based framework used to implement the REST architecture style. It has gained popularity among developers mainly because it allows to build stand-alone and production ready software applications (avoiding the use of an application server). Through seven proposed stages (domain immersion, golden application implementation, syntax definition, meta model generation, code generator implementation, deployment, and refinement) we describe the development of this DSL. We also exemplify and evaluate the proposed DSL. Our findings suggest a yield automation rate of 32.1 LOC (Lines Of Code) for each LOC written in this DSL, among other observed benefits.

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented a significant global health challenge, including in Morocco. These actions had direct repercussions on the economy as well as essential institutions in society; however, there were also indirect effects from these changes. This article focuses on these indirect consequences on the environment’s sustainability. It demonstrates that the net effect has been good in terms of reduced carbon gases, oil exploration operations, and pollution. This study introduces a novel approach to predicting and simulating the pandemic’s dynamics in Morocco using machine learning and multi-agent system models. We collected and processed daily data on COVID-19 cases, deaths, and interventions in Morocco from March 2, 2020, to June 30, 2021. We developed and validated several machine learning models, including decision trees, random forests, and support vector machines, to predict daily COVID-19 cases and deaths. Additionally, we designed a multi-agent system model to simulate the interactions among individuals, social groups, and the government in response to the pandemic, using agent-based modelling and game theory. Our results indicate that the machine learning models achieved high accuracy and generalization performance, with an average R-squared value of 0.83 for the cases and 0.90 for the deaths. The multi-agent simulations reveal the complex dynamics and trade-offs among pandemic control measures, economic activity, and social welfare in Morocco, suggesting that a coordinated and adaptive approach is necessary to balance these factors. Our study contributes to the growing literature on using machine learning and multiagent systems for pandemic prediction and management, providing valuable insights and recommendations for policymakers and public health officials in Morocco and beyond.

The article is devoted to the development of the Web application architecture with the distribution of the application by components into 2 tiers connected by the messaging system, and using of load balancing by horizontal scaling in the Kubernetes cloud cluster. Queue length in the message broker is used for scaling as critirea. This approach allows to increase resource usage efficiency of the system. The relevance of the topic is due to the widespread use of various web services and web applications. When the load of web applications increases it can lead to delays or even failure of these services. Therefore, the issues of creating reliable, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems become extremely important. If the load is greater than the system or service can withstand, it may result in denial of service or termination of service. Also, the load can be unevenly distributed to services over a period of time, and therefore, even if the system has enough resources to withstand high loads, during periods of low load, these resources will not be used, resulting in problems of inefficient use of resources and overspending. The proposed system was deployed in the Google Cloud environment. The components of the server part of the Web application are grouped into 2 tiers. The microlayer components of the first layer analyze HTTP client requests and transmit messages to the components of the second layer using the Google Pub-Sub messaging system. It is proposed to make all relatively "difficult" operations on the components of the second layer. For the numerical experiment, a system was implemented using an algorithm for horizontal scaling of microservices based on the current number of messages in the queue. Load testing of the system was performed, which showed that the created system is capable of processing more than 2 times more requests for the same period of time compared to the system without scaling. The aim of the work is a comparative analysis of three frameworks designed for building web applications for the Java programming language: Spring Boot 2.4.4, Micronaut 2.5.4 and Quarkus 1.13.4.Final. Test applications were prepared, equipped with the same functionality as used in the experiment consisting in measuring the server response times to a POST request – performing the data entry into the database. For each test application, the scenario aimed at measuring the time of handling requests under various load conditions was repeated five times. During each repetition of the scenario, the load which was the average number of requests sent per second by virtual users was increased. In parallel with performance tests, the reliability of the test applications was measured. Reliability was defined as the percentage of requests sent to the server that ended in a failure. The comparative analysis also took into consideration the volume of the code of the test applications based on the selected frameworks. The performed analyses showed that in terms of all the criteria considered in this work Micronaut proved to be the best framework.

There are many frameworks available in the IT environment that differ in performance, security, complexity, and speed. The user who wants to start working with the selected framework should know whether it will meet the architectural requirements and business assumptions. The aim of this work is to compare the performance and complexity of web applications built using different lightweight frameworks for the Java language. Spring Boot, Micronaut, Quarkus and Javalin frameworks will be compared. At the beginning of the work, the main problems related to the creation of modern applications were discussed. In the following sections, basic analysis of the complexity of the syntax and conventions of the selected skeletons was performed. Then, experiments were conducted to compare performance - response and build times and memory consumption during application development and use. A wide cross-section of efficiency has been obtained in selected lightweight framework usages. The prepared comparison can be used to select the appropriate framework for the project.

Pseudonymization plays a vital role in medical research. In Germany, the Technologie- und Methodenplattform für die vernetzte medizinische Forschung e.V. (TMF) has developed guidelines on how to create pseudonyms and how to handle personally identifiable information (PII) during this process. An open-source implementation of a pseudonymization service following these guidelines and therefore recommended by the TMF is the so-called "Mainzelliste". This web application supports a REST-API for (de-) pseudonymization. For security reasons, a complex session and tokening mechanism for each (de-) pseudonymization is required and a careful interaction between front- and backend to ensure a correct handling of PII. The objective of this work is the development of a library to simplify the integration and usage of the Mainzelliste's API in a TMF conform way. The frontend library uses JavaScript while the backend component is based on Java with an optional Spring Boot extension. PT. Sumber Trijaya Lestari merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang digital dan telah mengembangkan berbagai macam usaha yang dituangkan ke dalam aplikasi di berbagai macam platform yaitu web dan mobile. Push notification disertakan dalam aplikasi yang dibangun supaya pengguna bisa mendapatkan informasi terkini berkaitan dengan penggunaan aplikasi-aplikasi tersebut. Kendala yang dihadapi saat ini adalah, setiap aplikasi memiliki masing-masing dashboard dan pengirim harus mencari token client target secara manual pada basis data, sehingga menyebabkan kinerja developer yang melakukan push notification menjadi tidak optimal. Hal ini disebabkan karena push notification hanya dapat dibuat oleh developer atau orang yang memahami Firebase, penggunaan Postman serta harus memiliki akses ke basis data. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah aplikasi push notification center untuk mempermudah dalam pengiriman push notification dari setiap aplikasi melalui satu dashboard. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan berbasis web dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Java, JavaScript, basis data MySQL dan Framework Spring Boot. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan kepada developer dan pengguna aplikasi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem push notification berbasis web ini dapat berfungsi dengan baik serta dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada.
