12. Gemeinsam Wortschatz entdecken -- Konzeption und Evaluation des Gruppentherapiekonzeptes „Sprachschatz“.

Abstract

Mit dem Ziel, ein innovatives Gruppenangebot für den logopädischen Kontext in der Frühförderung zu erstellen, wurden die Konzepte Wortschatzsammler nach Motsch (Motsch, Marks & Ulrich, 2018) und der handlungsorientierte Therapieansatz (HOT) nach Weigl und Reddemann- Tschaikner (2009) konzeptuell auf ein interdisziplinäres Gruppensetting übertragen. Zudem wurde das Gruppensetting genutzt, um die Förderung der Sozialkompetenz einzubeziehen. Die Studie ging der Fragestellung nach, inwiefern die logopädische Therapie bei semantisch-lexikalischen Störungen unter Einbezug bekannter Behandlungskonzepte auch im Gruppenkontext nachweislich wirksam ist. Hierzu wurden sechs Kinder im Rahmen einer logopädischen Gruppentherapie unter Anwendung des modifizierten Konzepts behandelt und ihre sprachlichen Fortschritte mit der Patholinguistischen Diagnostik nach Kauschke und Siegmüller evaluiert (Kauschke & Siegmüller, 2010). Signifikante Verbesserungen zeigten sich in den Subtests Wortproduktion Nomen, Wortproduktion Verben, Wortproduktion Präpositionen, sowie der Begriffsklassifikation. Mit „Sprachschatz" entstand ein effektives Gruppenkonzept zur Behandlung semantisch-lexikalischer Störungen, das weiterführender Untersuchungen bedarf. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

18. Impaired executive functions in aphasia

Abstract

Bei einer Aphasie ist die Fähigkeit, Gespräche zu führen, oftmals eingeschränkt. Ursache hierfür können neben sprachlichen Beeinträchtigungen (Wortschatz, Grammatik) auch Störungen der Exekutivfunktionen (oder besondere Anforderung an diese) sein. Der genaue Zusammenhang zwischen Sprache und Exekutivfunktionen sowie effektive Behandlungsmethoden gestörter Exekutivfunktionen bei Aphasie sind bislang kaum erforscht, erfreulicherweise nehmen sich doch in jüngster Zeit verschiedene Fachbereiche dieser Themen an. Für Menschen mit Aphasie, ihre Angehörigen und beteiligte Berufsgruppen kann bereits das Wissen um mögliche Einschränkungen durch exekutive Störungen hilfreich sein: Sie können ihre Auswirkungen auf Gespräche eher erkennen, die Anforderungen in Gesprächen entsprechend verringern und bei Bedarf weitere „diagnostische Abklärung anregen.

19. Executive Functions in Aphasia:Development and Evaluation of a Novel Therapy Method to Improve Cognitive Flexibility in Aphasia

Abstract

Besides language deficits, persons with aphasia (PWA) can have impairments in cognitive flexibility, which may influence communicative abilities negatively. The aim of the present study was to evaluate whether therapy including cognitive flexibility leads to improvement in language skills as well as in communicative abilities. 10 single case studies were conducted; two of them are presented in this paper. The PWA received in different order (cross-over design) both a novel therapy, the Cognitive Flexibility in Aphasia Therapy (CFAT), and conventional aphasia therapy in 20 sessions over a period of two weeks for each therapy method. The results indicate that more severely affected PWA benefit more from the CFAT regarding language skills as well as communicative abilities.
