Calculations of inclusive ${\alpha}$ particle production are performed to interpret reaction experimental data induced by the two-neutron halo $^6$He and the isotopes $^{6,7}$Li on different target nuclei. We have implemented the zero-range post-form DWBA to compute the elastic and nonelastic breakup cross sections. Integrated cross sections, angular distributions and spectra are presented. Projectiles are approximated as two-body clusters, namely $^6$He as ${\alpha}$+dineutron and $^{6}$Li ($^{7}$Li) interpreted as ${\alpha}$+deuteron(triton). The S\~ao Paulo optical potential is employed in the calculation of the distorted wave functions for the incident channels, while standard phenomenological interactions are used for the fragment-target interactions. Calculations for $^6$Li and $^7$Li furnish a good description of the data, while the reaction involving $^6$He is found to be a complicated case, where data interpretation is still considered a major obstacle. The present analysis identifies an overall large contribution from inclusive breakup emissions for all the cases studied., Comment: 12 pages, 12 figures

We perform short-time Monte Carlo simulations to study the criticality of the isotropic two-state majority-vote model on cubic lattices of volume $N = L^3$, with $L$ up to $2048$. We obtain the precise location of the critical point by examining the scaling properties of a new auxiliary function $\Psi$. We perform finite-time scaling analysis to accurately calculate the whole set of critical exponents, including the dynamical critical exponent $z=2.027(9)$, and the initial slip exponent $\theta = 0.1081(1)$. Our results indicate that the majority-vote model in three dimensions belongs to the same universality class of the three-dimensional Ising model.

We revisit the dynamics of the one-dimensional self-gravitating sheets models. We show that homogeneous and non-homogeneous states have different ergodic properties. The former is non-ergodic and the one-particle distribution function has a zero collision term if a proper limit is taken for the periodic boundary conditions. Non-homogeneous states are ergodic in a time window of the order of the relaxation time to equilibrium, as similarly observe in other systems with a long range interaction. For the sheets model this relaxation time is much larger than other systems with long range interactions if compared to the initial violent relaxation time.

Halo nuclei projectiles can undergo into a fragmentation process when scattered by a nucleus target. The corresponding core from exotic nuclei is usually observed while the others fragments of the reaction are not. We use the recently proposed theory by [Phys. Lett. B767, 53 (2017)] with a four-body description of the inclusive breakup reaction where the projectile is 20C described like a two-neutron halo nucleus. The momentum of both neutrons are integrated out giving a generic description of the core angular distribution. In this preliminary study we perform an analysis of the inclusive inelastic breakup cross-section using the eikonal approximation for the distorted wave function of the projectile. We present a recently developed theory for the inclusive breakup of three-fragment projectiles within a four-body spectator model \cite{CarPLB2017}, for the treatment of the elastic and inclusive non-elastic break up reactions involving weakly bound three-cluster nuclei in $A\,(a,b)\,X$ / $a = x_1 + x_2 + b$ collisions. The four-body theory is an extension of the three-body approaches developed in the 80's by Ichimura, Autern and Vincent (IAV) \cite{IAV1985}, Udagawa and Tamura (UT) \cite{UT1981} and Hussein and McVoy (HM) \cite{HM1985}. We expect that experimentalists shall be encouraged to search for more information about the $x_{1} + x_{2}$ system in the elastic breakup cross section and that also further developments and extensions of the surrogate method will be pursued, based on the inclusive non-elastic breakup part of the $b$ spectrum., Comment: 8 pages, 3 figures, Contribution to the Proceedings of Fusion17: "International Conference on Heavy-Ion Collisions at Near-Barrier Energies", 20-24 February 2017 Hobart, Tasmania, Australia

The analysis of the core recoil momentum distribution of neutron-rich isotopes of light exotic nuclei is performed within a model of the halo nuclei described by a core and two neutrons dominated by the $s-$wave channel. We adopt the renormalized three-body model with a zero-range force, that accounts for the universal Efimov physics. This model is applicable to nuclei with large two-neutron halos compared to the core size, and a neutron-core scattering length larger than the interaction range. The halo wave function in momentum space is obtained by using as inputs the two-neutron separation energy and the energies of the singlet neutron-neutron and neutron-core virtual states. Within our model, we obtain the momentum probability densities for the Borromean exotic nuclei Lithium-11 ($^{11}$Li), Berylium-14 ($^{14}$Be) and Carbon-22 ($^{22}$C). A fair reproduction of the experimental data was obtained in the case of the core recoil momentum distribution of $^{11}$Li and $^{14}$Be, without free parameters. By extending the model to $^{22}$C, the combined analysis of the core momentum distribution and matter radius suggest (i) a $^{21}$C virtual state well below 1 MeV; (ii) an overestimation of the extracted matter $^{22}$C radius; and (iii) a two-neutron separation energy between 100 and 400 keV.
