The twister, an unconventional pet, requires careful sanitary management to avoid vulnerability to specific agents, especially those affecting the respiratory system. Untreated cases can evolve into severe situations that may become emergencies, and chest radiography is essential to determine the appropriate intervention. In this way, a twister was brought in for clinical care with dyspnea, was referred for hospitalization, and after stabilization underwent a chest radiograph that revealed pneumothorax and atelectasis. Raising rabbits requires management practices to ensure their well-being and prevent diseases such as gastrointestinais stasis. A female rabbit was attended to due to lethargy, anorexia, and changes in feces, initially diagnosed with enteritis through ultrasonography. The animal was referred for hospitalization, and a subsequent examination, including additional assessments of gastric stasis, was conducted.
