We have performed a frequency analysis of 10,092 Delta Scuti-type stars detected in the fourth phase of the Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment (OGLE) towards the Galactic bulge, which is the most numerous homogeneous sample of Delta Scuti stars observed so far. The main goal was to search for stars pulsating in at least two radial modes simultaneously. We have found 3083 candidates for such stars, which is the largest set obtained to date. Among them, 2655 stars pulsate in two radial modes, 414 stars pulsate in three radial modes, and 14 stars pulsate in four radial modes at the same time. We report the identification of 221 Delta Scuti stars pulsating in the fundamental mode, first overtone, and third overtone simultaneously. We show the most populated Petersen and Bailey diagrams and discuss statistical properties of the identified frequencies based on this numerous sample. The subtype of hot algol semidetached binaries dubbed Double Periodic Variables (DPVs) are characterized by a photometric cycle longer than the orbital one, whose nature has been related to a magnetic dynamo in the donor component controlling the mass transfer rate. We aim to understand the morphologic changes observed in the light curve of OGLE-BLG-ECL-157529 that are linked to the long cycle. In particular, we want to explain the changes in relative depth of primary and secondary eclipses. We analyze $I$ and $V$-band OGLE photometric times series spanning 18.5 years and model the orbital light curve. We find that OGLE-BLG-ECL-157529 is a new eclipsing Galactic DPV of orbital period 24\fd8, and that its long cycle length decreases in amplitude and length during the time baseline. We show that the changes of the orbital light curve can be reproduced considering an accretion disk of variable thickness and radius, surrounding the hottest stellar component. Our models indicate changes in the temperatures of hot spot and bright spot during the long cycle, and also in the position of the bright spot. We present here a new major part of the OGLE Collection of Variable Stars - OGLE Collection of Galactic Cepheids. The new dataset was extracted from the Galaxy Variability Survey images - a dedicated large-scale survey of the Galactic disk and outer bulge conducted by the OGLE project since 2013. The OGLE collection contains 2721 Cepheids of all types - classical, type II and anomalous. It more than doubles the number of known Galactic classical Cepheids. Due to the long-term monitoring and large number of epochs the selected sample is very pure, generally free from contaminating stars of other types often mimicking Cepheids. Its completeness is high at 90% level for classical Cepheids - tested using recent samples of Galactic Cepheids: ASAS-SN, ATLAS, Gaia DR2 and Wise catalog of variable stars. Our comparisons indicate that the completeness of the two latter datasets, Gaia DR2 and Wise catalog, is very low, at < 10% level in the magnitude range of the OGLE GVS survey (10.8 < I < 19.5 mag). Both these samples are severely contaminated by non-Cepheids (the purity is 67% and 56%, respectively). We also present several interesting objects found in the new OGLE Collection - multi-mode pulsators, a first Galactic candidate for eclipsing system containing Cepheid, a binary Cepheid candidate., Printed version. Archive has been updated and includes additional Cepheids from the new OGLE Galactic disk fields (see updated Fig.1). We report the discovery of a cold Super-Earth planet (m_p=4.4 +/- 0.5 M_Earth) orbiting a low-mass (M=0.23 +/- 0.03 M_Sun) M dwarf at projected separation a_perp = 1.18 +/- 0.10 AU, i.e., about 1.9 times the snow line. The system is quite nearby for a microlensing planet, D_Lens = 0.86 +/- 0.09 kpc. Indeed, it was the large lens-source relative parallax pi_rel=1.0 mas (combined with the low mass M) that gave rise to the large, and thus well-measured, "microlens parallax" that enabled these precise measurements. OGLE-2017-BLG-1434Lb is the eighth microlensing planet with planet-host mass ratio q < 1 * 10^-4. We apply a new planet-detection sensitivity method, which is a variant of "V/V_max", to seven of these eight planets to derive the mass-ratio function in this regime. We find dN/d(ln q) ~ q^p, with p = 1.05 (+0.78,-0.68), which confirms the "turnover" in the mass function found by Suzuki et al. relative to the power law of opposite sign n = -0.93 +/- 0.13 at higher mass ratios q >~ 2 * 10^-4. We combine our result with that of Suzuki et al. to obtain p = 0.73 (+0.42,-0.34)., 53 pages, 16 figures

We report the discovery and the analysis of the planetary microlensing event, OGLE-2013-BLG-1761. There are some degenerate solutions in this event because the planetary anomaly is only sparsely sampled. But the detailed light curve analysis ruled out all stellar binary models and shows that the lens to be a planetary system. There is the so-called close/wide degeneracy in the solutions with the planet/host mass ratio of $q \sim (7.5 \pm 1.5) \times 10^{-3}$ and $q \sim (9.3 \pm 2.9) \times 10^{-3}$ with the projected separation in Einstein radius units of $s = 0.95$ (close) and $s = 1.19$ (wide), respectively. The microlens parallax effect is not detected but the finite source effect is detected. Our Bayesian analysis indicates that the lens system is located at $D_{\rm L}=6.9_{-1.2}^{+1.0} \ {\rm kpc}$ away from us and the host star is an M/K-dwarf with the mass of $M_{\rm L}=0.33_{-0.18}^{+0.32} \ M_{\odot}$ orbited by a super-Jupiter mass planet with the mass of $m_{\rm P}=2.8_{-1.5}^{+2.5} \ M_{\rm Jup}$ at the projected separation of $a_{\perp}=1.8_{-0.5}^{+0.5} \ {\rm AU}$. The preference of the large lens distance in the Bayesian analysis is due to the relatively large observed source star radius. The distance and other physical parameters can be constrained by the future high resolution imaging by ground large telescopes or HST. If the estimated lens distance is correct, this planet provides another sample for testing the claimed deficit of planets in the Galactic bulge., Comment: 22pages, 7figures, 2tables, submitted to AAS Journals

The microlens parallax is a crucial observable for conclusively identifying the nature of lens systems in microlensing events containing or composed of faint (even dark) astronomical objects such as planets, neutron stars, brown dwarfs, and black holes. With the commencement of a new era of microlensing in collaboration with space-based observations, the microlens parallax can be routinely measured. In addition, space-based observations can provide opportunities to verify the microlens parallax measured from ground-only observations and to find a unique solution of the lensing lightcurve analysis. However, since most space-based observations cannot cover the full lightcurves of lensing events, it is also necessary to verify the reliability of the information extracted from fragmentary space-based lightcurves. We conduct a test based on the microlensing event OGLE-2016-BLG-0168 created by a binary lens system consisting of almost equal mass M-dwarf stars to demonstrate that it is possible to verify the microlens parallax and to resolve degeneracies by using the space-based lightcurve even though the observations are fragmentary. Since space-based observatories will frequently produce fragmentary lightcurves due to their short observing windows, the methodology of this test will be useful for next-generation microlensing experiments that combine space-based and ground-based collaboration., 9 pages, 5 figures, 3 tables, submitted in ApJ

We describe variable stars found in the data collected during the OGLE-III Shallow Survey covering the I-band magnitude range from 9.7 mag to 14.5 mag. The main result is the extension of period--luminosity relations for Cepheids up to 134 days. We also detected 82 binary systems and 110 long-period variables not present in the main OGLE catalogs. In the era of precision cosmology it is essential to determine the Hubble Constant with an accuracy of 3% or better. Currently, its uncertainty is dominated by the uncertainty in the distance to the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) which as the second nearest galaxy serves as the best anchor point of the cosmic distance scale. Observations of eclipsing binaries offer a unique opportunity to precisely and accurately measure stellar parameters and distances. The eclipsing binary method was previously applied to the LMC but the accuracy of the distance results was hampered by the need to model the bright, early-type systems used in these studies. Here, we present distance determinations to eight long-period, late- type eclipsing systems in the LMC composed of cool giant stars. For such systems we can accurately measure both the linear and angular sizes of their components and avoid the most important problems related to the hot early-type systems. Our LMC distance derived from these systems is demonstrably accurate to 2.2 % (49.97 +/- 0.19 (statistical) +/- 1.11 (systematic) kpc) providing a firm base for a 3 % determination of the Hubble Constant, with prospects for improvement to 2 % in the future., 34 pages, 5 figures, 13 tables, published in the Nature, a part of our data comes from new unpublished OGLE-IV photometric data
