The aim of the current study is to investigate the heat transfer performance of Al2O3 and Cu nanoparticles suspended based in H2O nanofluids inside a partially heated C-shaped enclosure. The governing equations for heat and flow transfer are solved using the Finite Element Method. Heat transmission is affected by the type and form of nanoparticles. To study the improved heat transfer performance, four different shapes of nanoparticles-spherical, cylindrical, column, and lamina-have been used. The investigation showed that among the considered shapes of nanoparticles, the lamina shape of nanoparticles performed best. Considering lamina nanoparticles, in comparison to the simple nanofluids Al2O3 - H2O and Cu - H2O the hybrid nanofluid Al2O3 - Cu - H2O provides the enhanced heat transfer rate. The heat transfer is governed by convection at a higher Rayleigh number. On the other hand, the heat transfer rate is decreasing by increasing the impact of the magnetic field. For the increased heat transfer rate, the best choice is lamina nanoparticles and hybrid nanofluid Al2O3 - Cu - H2O. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, magnetohydrodynamic hybrid nanofluid is considered to study the heat transfer performance due to stretching of inclined surface. The stretching surface is considered under the effects of magnetic field along the normal direction. The surface is inclined such that it makes an angle of 45 0 with x - a x i s . The working nanofluid is composed of water and fraction of Al 2 O 3 and Cu nanoparticles. The flow is generated due to stretching of surface with constant velocity. Set of nonlinear partial differential equations, including continuity, momentum and energy equations, governs the flow and heat transfer. Similarity transformation technique is applied to convert them to nondimensional form. Transformation gives rise to number of physical parameters, such as Eckert number, suction parameter, convective parameter, and magnetic parameter. The numerical solution is sought using Picard Chelyshkov polynomial method, to evaluate the flow and heat transfer phenomenon against the range of emerging physical parameter. The study revealed that, in comparison with the simple Cu /water nanofluid, heat transfer rate is augmented utilizing Al 2 O 3 - Cu /water hybrid nanofluid. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In current model, a complete structured of thermal behavior within a permeable curved domain is discussed in the appearance of Ethylene glycol based Fe 3 O 4 nanofluid. Electrohydrodynamic (EHD), that is an electric force inside a porous space is also simulated. Radiative source term has been introduced and Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles with different shapes namely: Platelet, bricks, cylinder and spherical are dispersed within the base fluid. The systems of Partial differential equations (PDEs) are solved through CVFEM. It is further described that bottom electrode is movable. Electric field and nanoparticles' shape are two factors for changing properties of nanofluid. Impacts of permeability, voltage, radiation parameters and nanoparticles' shape on stream lines, isotherms, Nusselt number have been demonstrated. Ranges of defined parameters are retained which are: voltages 0 ≤ Δ φ ≤ 10 K V , Darcy number 1 0 2 ≤ D a ≤ 1 0 5 , nanoparticles' shape 3 ≤ m ≤ 5. 7 and radiative factor 0 ≤ R d ≤ 0. 8. Outcomes displayed that convection augments with rise of Da.
