Elaborate mesocrystal superstructures assembled by nanocrystals enable the photocatalysts to effectively transfer photo‐generated charges over long‐distance. Especially, the hetero superstructure can facilely adjust the bandgaps to promote the separation of electron–hole pairs and enhance photocatalytic activity. Herein, a unique bio‐derived mesocrystal superstructures with multi‐chamber network is developed tactfully using the yeast cells with multi‐ascopore as templates obtained by sexual reproduction way. Specifically, the natural phosphorus and oxygen species derived from the yeast are tactfully exploited during the synthetic process of Cd5(PO4)3Cl/CdO hetero‐superstructure. The transient surface photovoltage and the time‐resolved transient photoluminescence (PL) result indicate that the well‐defined orientation of the mesocrystal contributes to enhancing photogenerated carriers transfer efficiency and reducing the recombination of electron–hole pairs. The hetero‐superstructures exhibit an excellent solar H2 releasing activity (18.71 mmol·g−1·h−1) and a high quantum yield of 28.27% at wavelength of 380 nm. The design of hetero‐superstructure with multi‐chamber by means of the inner interlaced network and microelements of the organisms introduces a new clue to construct functional materials with hierarchical structures for solar fuel conversion. Owing to a lack of methodology for rationally and selectively synthesizing twisted nanographenes, it is usually inevitable that we obtain nanographenes as a mixture with various geometries, such as unidirectionally twisted, alternatively twisted, randomly twisted, and even wavy structures, reflecting the high activation barriers among them. Otherwise, they are interconvertible if the barriers are low enough such that only averaged properties can be observed under a thermal equilibrium. Recently, we reported on a double-twisted nanographene containing four [6]helicene units within the skeleton. In this paper, we discuss the robust conformational stability of the nanographene, both experimentally and computationally. The results indicate that the nanographene could only be racemized at temperatures exceeding 200 °C, and the first flip of one of the four [6]helicene units is the rate-degerming step. Introduction: Stress may lead to allostatic overload. Well-being therapy (WBT) might mitigate it by enhancing psychological well-being and protecting from psychological symptoms. Since no reports are available on the use of WBT in allostatic overload, we evaluated online WBT effects in reducing allostatic overload in medical workers during the coronavirus pandemic. Methods: Sixty-six participants with allostatic overload were enrolled and randomly assigned to eight sessions of online WBT (n = 32) or eight sessions of an online psychoeducation program on healthy lifestyle (CON) (n = 34). The primary outcome was the prevalence rate of allostatic overload in the two groups at session 8 (T2). Secondary analyses were performed on changes in the PsychoSocial Index (PSI) and Psychological Well-Being (PWB) scales scores at the same time points. Generalized estimating equation models were employed. Results: The WBT group showed a significantly lower rate of allostatic overload at T2 than the CON group (28.13% vs. 70.59%, p < 0.001); similar results were found at T1, T3, and T4 (p < 0.001). Compared to CON, WBT produced a significant decrease in psychological distress (p < 0.001) and abnormal illness behavior (p = 0.031), as well as a significant improvement in PWB autonomy, environmental mastery, personal growth, positive relations with others, purpose in life, and self-acceptance (p < 0.001). Conclusion: Online WBT may be an effective non-pharmacological therapeutic strategy for individuals with allostatic overload. Comprehensive Summary: Hierarchically porous materials (HP materials) are believed one of the most hopeful matrix materials because of their distinctive multimodal pore structures and tremendous application potentials in the field of biomedicine. However, green and facile synthesis of hierarchically porous nanomaterials with beneficial water dispersibility and biocompatibility is still a great challenge. Herein, a novel biomimetic strategy is proposed to prepare the cell‐tailored double‐shelled HPCaCO3/CaF2 hollow nanospheres under the mediation of yeast cells. The biomolecules derived from the secretion of yeast cells are used as conditioning and stabilizing agents to control the biosynthesis of the HPCaCO3/CaF2 materials, which exhibit excellent water dispersibility and favorable biocompatibility. The double‐shelled CaCO3/CaF2 nanospheres hold hierarchically porous structure and have abundant pore channel and large specific surface area, showing high drug‐loading and a prolonged drug sustainable release profile by the pore‐by‐pore diffusion pattern of the hierarchical pores. Otherwise, the HPCaCO3 with pH‐sensitivity could controllably release drug doxorubicin hydrochloride (DOX) at the acidic tumor microenvironment. Both in vitro and in vivo results demonstrate that HPCaCO3/CaF2 has the sustainable pH‐sensitive drug release property, showing an enhanced therapeutic effect. The discrete time-cost tradeoff problem (DTCTP) is a well-researched topic in the field of operations research. The majority of existing DTCTP models are based on traditional activity networks, which permit the execution of an activity as soon as all its predecessors have been completed. This assumption is reasonable, but it is important to note that there are always exceptions. The main work of this study was threefold. Firstly, we expanded the analysis of the DTCTP to encompass time-constrained activity networks (DTCTPTC), which encompassed three different types of time constraints. The first constraint was the time-window constraint, which limited the time interval during which an activity could be executed. The second constraint was the time-schedule constraint, which specified the times at which an activity could begin execution. The third constraint was the time-switch constraint, which required project activities to start at specific times and remain inactive during designated time periods. Secondly, a constraint programming (CP) model was developed for the purpose of solving the DTCTPTC. The model employed interval variables to define the activity and its potential time constraints, while CP expressions were utilized to ensure the feasibility of the solution. The objective was to identify the optimal execution mode for each activity, the optimal start times for time-scheduled activities, and the optimal work/rest patterns for time-switch activities, with the aim of minimizing the total cost of the project. Finally, the efficacy of the proposed CP model was validated through two case studies based on two illustrative projects of varying sizes. The outcomes were then compared against existing algorithms. The results demonstrated that time constraints were important factors affecting schedule optimization, and the proposed CP model had the ability to solve large-scale DTCTPTC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Natural photosynthetic biosystems, with elaborate spatial structures, possess substantial specific surface areas and strong light-scattering abilities and provide a blueprint for the fabrication of photocatalysts for efficiently capturing and utilizing solar energy. However, mimicking sophisticated natural structures by a rational design is a great challenge. Herein, we report a facile and universal symbiosis hydrothermal synthesis strategy for obtaining biomimetic volvox-like double-core nested hollow materials. The nested hollow materials possessed the special notched "mother–twin" core–shell structure and the core numbers could be well controlled by adjusting the amount of precursor. The notched double-core hollow ZnO/CdS (mother–twin HZC) was facilely constructed by the direct chemical deposition of CdS nanosheets on the double-core hollow ZnO (mother–twin HZ). The notched complex spatial heterostructure possessed a multiple light-reflection capability (improving the utilization of solar energy), tight interfacial contact (favoring charge migration), and a high surface-to-volume ratio (providing sufficient active sites for H2 production). Both the Z-scheme ZnO/CdS heterostructures and the special nested hollow structure could synergistically enable achieving a remarkable hydrogen generation rate (up to 18.70 mmol g−1 h−1) under visible-light irradiation, exceeding that of the reported similar ZnO/CdS heterostructure without co-catalysts.
