Psoriasis is a skin disease that is inflammatory and persistent, causing a high rate of recurrence, poor quality of life, and significant socioeconomic burden. Its main pathological manifestations are abnormal activation and infiltration of T cells and excessive proliferation of keratinocytes (KCs). The great majority of patients with psoriasis will relapse after remission. It usually lasts a lifetime and necessitates long‐term treatment strategies. During periods of activity and remission, one of the main cell types in psoriasis is memory T cells, which include tissue‐resident memory T (TRM) cells, central memory T (TCM) cells, and effector memory T (TEM) cells. They work by releasing inflammatory factors, cytotoxic particles, or altering cell subpopulations, leading to increased inflammation or recurrence. This review summarizes the role of memory T cells in the pathology and treatment of psoriasis, with a view to potential novel therapies and therapeutic targets. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Computer vision is now vital in intelligent vehicle environment perception systems. However, real-time small-scale pedestrian detection in intelligent vehicle environment perception systems is still needs to be improved. This paper proposes an intelligent vehicle-pedestrian detection method based on YOLOv5s, named IVP-YOLOv5, to use in vehicle environment perception systems. Based on the network structure of YOLOv5s, we replaced BottleNeck CSP with Ghost-Bottleneck to reduce the complexity of processing feature maps while maintaining good detection performance. To reduce the error between the ground truth box and the predicted box, we apply Alpha-IoU as the bounding box loss function, improving pedestrian detection accuracy and robustness. We introduce the slicing-aided hyper inference (SAHI) strategy, which enables the lightweight backbone network to capture more detailed features of pedestrians by enlarging image pixels. Experiments on the BDD100 K dataset show that the proposed IVP-YOLOv5 achieves 67.1% AP and 18.5% APs of pedestrian detection, and the GFLOPs and the number of parameters are only 10.5 and 4.9M. Cork spot is a common physiological disorder in pear fruits, which has been found in some pear cultivars. Mineral nutrition imbalance in fruit is regarded as the principal influence factor for disorder incidence, with some ongoing confusion and controversy. In our research, we explored the cork spot characteristics in Japanese pear 'Akizuki' (Pyrus pyrifolia Nakai), adopted metabolome and mineral content analysis for healthy and disordered fruits, and made a correlation analysis of mineral and metabolites. Cork spots are mainly distributed on the outer flesh beneath the fruit peel. In cork spotted tissues, superoxide (SOD) and peroxidase (POD) activities, as well as malondialdehyde (MDA) content, increased. A total of 1024 known metabolites were identified from all the samples and more changes in metabolism were detected between normal and cork spotted flesh tissues. Correlation analysis displayed that Ca, especially the Mg/Ca in fruits, could be used to predict whether an orchard will develop cork spot disorder; Mg and B were associated with the appearance of symptoms, and the contents of Zn, Fe, and Mg, as well as Mg/B and Zn/B, might be strongly tied to the formation of cork spots in pears. Diabetic ulcers (DUs) are characterised by a high incidence and disability rate. However, its pathogenesis remains elusive. Thus, a deep understanding of the underlying mechanisms for the pathogenesis of DUs has vital implications. The weighted gene co‐expression network analysis was performed on the main data from the Gene Expression Omnibus database. Gene Ontology (GO) terms, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis were adopted to analyse the potential biological function of the most relevant module. Furthermore, we utilised CytoHubba and protein–protein interaction network to identify the hub genes. Finally, the hub genes were validated by animal experiments in diabetic ulcer mice models. The expression of genes from the turquoise module was found to be strongly related to DUs. GO terms, KEGG analysis showed that biological functions are closely related to immune response. The hub genes included IFI35, IFIT2, MX2, OASL, RSAD2, and XAF1, which were higher in wounds of DUs mice than that in normal lesions. Additionally, we also demonstrated that the expression of hub genes was correlated with the immune response using immune checkpoint, immune cell infiltration, and immune scores. These data suggests that IFI35, IFIT2, MX2, OASL, RSAD2, and XAF1 are crucial for DUs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
