This study aimed to identify research on different Qur'anic ontologies by providing a clear picture of the existing reality, activities, and progress in developing Qur'anic ontologies. Therefore, the present scoping review attempts to overview the breadth and scope of the research conducted around Qur'anic ontologies during 2017-2022. The methodological framework of Arksey and O'Malley (2005), who suggested five steps for conducting domain review, was used. The search strategy was conducted in 6 databases, including Emerald, Science Direct, IEEE Xplore Digital Library, Google Scholar, Web of Science, and Scopus, in April 2022. As a result, 811 studies were identified. The EndNote ver. 9 reference management tool was used to organize the studies. Three hundred and seventeen duplicate articles and 362 unrelated articles were excluded. Maximum research has considered specific Qur'anic themes in creating Qur'anic ontologies, even though some studies have tried to construct an ontology of the entire Qur'an. English and Arabic were the most common languages used in developing existing Qur'anic ontologies. In addition, most of the research constructed monolingual thematic ontology, and limited studies have applied multilingual translation of the Qur'an to their ontology. Developing tools, programming languages, and methods used in most studies are Protégé, W3C Web Ontology Language (OWL), and Resource Description Framework (RDF), and the concept classification is the up-down approach. SPARQL Protocol and RDF Query Language (SPARQL) have been the proper evaluation tools and methods used in previous research. In contrast, Description Logic (DL) queries and human experts have only been used in a few studies. This study provided a practical indication of the shortcomings, problems, and suggestions in constructing and developing existing Qur'anic ontologies leading to comprehensive Qur'an ontology to disseminating correct knowledge of the Qur'an with the help of semantic technologies. In this way, creating a comprehensive Qur'anic ontology in Persian is suggested to overcome the limitations raised in previous research.

Objective: The purpose is to provide a comprehensive view of the applications of Quranic ontologies, through the identification and analysis of research related to the various uses of operational Quranic ontologies, for researchers in the theoretical and practical fields. Based on this, the aim of the authors has been to provide a practical and operational representation of the shortcomings, problems and suggestions raised in the field of the application of existing Quranic ontologies by studying previous projects in order to provide the conditions for maximum use of the capabilities of Quranic ontologies.Methodology: The current research is a systematic review of the scoping type, which highlighted the use of Quranic ontologies in previous studies. The methodological framework of Arksey & O'Malley (2005), who have provided five suggested steps for conducting domain review research, was used for this purpose. At April 2022, a search was conducted in 6 databases including Emerald, Science Direct, IEEE Xplore Digital Library, Google Scholar, Web of Science, and Scopus and as a result, 811 studies were identified. To organize the studies, information resource management software (Endnote) was used. Using the mentioned software, 317 duplicate articles were identified and by studying the title and abstract of retrieved sources, 362 articles were removed due to being unrelated to the purpose of the study. Then, the full text of the articles was studied and the inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, and as a result, 118 articles were excluded. Finally, 14 articles were included in the review.Findings: The findings of the research show that the ontology of Quranic sciences is useful in the design of semantic search engines, the development of conversational systems in natural language and the disambiguation of user queries in natural language, voice recognition and evaluation of Quranic recitation, linking Quranic verses with Web multimedia sources.Conclusion: Considering the positive results of the application of Quranic ontologies in different areas, it can be argued that with the help of semantic technologies, including the comprehensive ontology of the contextual knowledge of the Quran, the publication Quranic knowledge has been realized and users can be guided to recover Quranic knowledge. Therefore, it is necessary to design and develop a comprehensive Quranic ontology in Persian language as a basis for the applications mentioned in previous researches, such as dialogue systems in natural Persian language and the design of a semantic search engine in Persian language.

Background and aim: Assessing the quality of scientific outputs is part of the development measuring system of countries around the world. The aim of this study was to analyze the thematic structure of the top articles of Iranian researchers in the Web of Science (WoS) database in Web of Science database. Materials and methods: This applied-descriptive study was performed using scientometric method. The research population was all top papers of Iranian researchers indexed in Essential Scientific Indicators (ESI) and WoS databases from 2010 to 2019. Data were analyzed using Ravar Matrix and Ucinet softwares. Findings: Total number of Iranian top articles was 2447 of which 2428 and 114 were highly cited and hot articles published from 2010-2019, respectively. The top ranking of centrality was assigned to the keyword "nanofluid" with a closeness centrality of 53.684, betweenness centrality of 24.229 and degree centrality of 3.020%. Conclusion: The top articles of Iranian researchers were classified into 14 thematic clusters, so that most of these articles were in the field of "engineering" and the keyword "nano" was the most important thematic keyword and the basic foundation of this study.

Background and Aim: The field of medical engineering is the flagship interdisciplinary approach in Iran, which, due to its attention to knowledge-based economy, takes a step towards prosperity and smoothing progress and development. The purpose of this study is to investigate the interactions between university, industry and government of Iran in scientific articles in the field of medical engineering using the triple helix model. Materials and Methods: This is an applied research with a quantitative approach and uses scientometric techniques. The status of dynamic interactions of the main pillars of Iranian innovation in the field of medical engineering in WoS (Web of Science) database has been calculated using the .exe and the 4.exe softwares in the period of 2010-2019, and the transmission degree of uncertainty index in dual and national dimensions has been determined. Results: The T-index ranking was assigned to university-government(23.38 mb), university-industry(8.47 mb) and industry-government (1.13 mb), respectively, and finally, national interaction(-12.48 mb) was obtained. The interaction between university and industry had an increasing trend and the strongest dual interaction belonged to the university-government. Over the last ten years, national interaction has always had a negative value, which indicates the existence of dynamics in interactions in the national dimension. Conclusion: The dual university-industry interaction has been increasing in recent years; however, in the long run, the national interaction of the pillars has been facing a declining trend, according to which some science and technology policies, and research and industrial strategies have been proposed as a necessity to promote the university-industry-government innovation network in the field of medical engineering in Iran.
