Abstract

As documented in the literatures of response surface methodology, the optimum condition of a second order response surface model can be assessed by investigating the magnitude of the eigenvalues of the model matrix. In this paper we establish asymptotic confidence regions for the vector of eigenvalues of matrix models when the observations are obtained from a multivari- ate second order response surface model. The limiting distribution of the pivotal quantity of the vector of eigenvalues is derived by applying multidimensional delta method. Under mild condition it is shown that the sequence of the pivotal quantity of the vec- tor of eigenvalues converges to a centered multivariate normal distribution. By projection, we immediately obtain the asymptotic marginal confidence intervals for the components of each response variable. Abstract

Salah satu indikator pembelajaran yang bermutu adalah kemampuan siswa kelas rendah membaca lancar suatu bacaan Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yangmempengaruhi kelancaran membaca siswa kelas 2 Sekolah Dasar. Data yang digunakan adalah dataprimer kemampuan siswa membaca di enam kabupaten di Sulawesi Tenggara tahun 2019. Analisis yangdigunakan adalah analisis regresi logistik biner. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yangmempengaruhi kelancaran siswa membaca adalah jenis kelamin, lulus PAUD/TK dan mengulang kelas.Nilai odds ratio untuk jenis kelamin laki-laki sebesar 0,423, lulus PAUD/TK sebesar 7,307 dan mengulangkelas, 0,118. Ketetapan klasifikasi antar observasi dan prediksi sebesar 75,4% yang berarti bahwa modeldapat dikatakan cukup baik dalam memodelkan kelancaran membaca.Kata kunci: membaca lancar, regresi logistik, odds ratio, klasifikasi

14. Perbandingan Uji Likelihood Ratio Dan Uji F Asymtotik Pada Regresi Linier

Abstract

Analisis regresi adalah studi mengenai ketergantungan satu variabel terikat dengan satu atau lebih variabel bebas, dengan tujuan mengestimasi dan memprediksi rata-rata populasi atau nilai rata-rata variabel terikat berdasarkan nilai variabel bebas yang diketahui. Terdapat berbagai uji hipotesis yang dapat digunakan untuk menentukan model yang cocok untuk untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel tidak bebas dengan satu atau lebih variabel bebas, di antarannya adalah uji likelihood ratio dan uji F asimtotik. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji likelihood ratio, dimana merupakan salah satu uji yang berhubungan langsung dengan penduga maksimum likelihood, yang model distribusi dari populasinya mengikuti model distribusi dengan pdf tertentu dimana diasumsikan normal dibandingkan dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji F asymtotik, yang merupakan uji di mana perosedur inferensi secara asimtotik tidak membutuhkan asumsi distribusi dari observasinya. uji hipotesis baik uji likelihood ratio dan uji F asymtotik pada analisis regresi menghasilkan bentuk model yang sama.Kata Kunci: Analisis Regresi, Uji Likelihood ratio, Uji F AsymtotikAbstract: Regression analysis is a study of the dependence of one dependent variable with one or more independent variables, with the aim of estimating and predicting the population mean or average value of the dependent variable based on the known value of the independent variable. There are various hypothesis tests that can be used to determine a suitable model to determine the relationship between dependent variables and one or more independent variables, including the likelihood ratio test and the asymptotic F test. Hypothesis testing uses the likelihood ratio test, which is one of the tests that is directly related to the maximum likelihood estimator, where the distribution model of the population follows a distribution model with a particular pdf which is assumed to be normal compared to the hypothesis test using the asymptotic F test, which is a test in which the inference procedure asymptotically it does not require assuming the distribution of the observations. Hypothesis test both likelihood ratio test and asymptotic F test in regression analysis produces the same model.Key words: Regression Analysis, likelihood ratio test, asymptotic F test.

Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini berdesain Posttest Only Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa: 1) Kemampuan penalaran aljabar siswa yang mendapat model pembelajaran kooperatif lebih baik dibandingkan kemampuan penalaran aljabar siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran konvensional. 2) Siswa dengan kemandirian belajar tinggi dan sedang yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif TGT mempunyai kemampuan penalaran aljabar yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran konvensional. 3) Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan penalaran aljabar siswa dengan kemandirian belajar rendah yang mendapat pembelajaran kooperatif TGT dengan siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran konvensional. 4) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran (kooperatif TGT dan konvensional) dengan kemandirian belajar (tinggi, sedang dan rendah) terhadap kemampuan penalaran aljabar siswa.

Abstract

Bootstrap merupakan suatu metode resampling yang umumnya digunakan untuk menduga parameter populasi dan selang kepercayaan suatu sampel kecil dari populasi yang distribusinya tidak diketahui. Penelitian ini mempelajari sifat hasil dugaan parameter populasi dengan metode bootstrap dari sampel gerombol dua tahap yang berukuran kecil. Simulasi dilakukan 1000 kali untuk menduga parameter berdasarkan sampel berukuran 15, 20, 25, 30 dan 35 dari populasi terbatas, Pendugaan parameter juga dilakukan pada data riil proporsi siswa kesulitan membaca lancar di kelas dua sekolah dasar. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa sampel gerombol dua tahap dengan ukuran sampel 20 efisien dalam menduga parameter populasi. Dari hasil survey 20 sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Bombana, diperkirakan 19-39 persen siswa kelas dua kesulitan membaca lancar. Abstract

The purpose of the present paper is to establish universal kriging formula for multivariate spatial data observed over a second order stationary random field. In this study we consider multivariate isotropic parametric variogram model of power type. The parameters of the model including the cross-covariance parameter are estimated by applying least squares method. Numerical solution of the least squares equations are approximated by applying graphical approach. The main assumption adopted in this work is that the spatial process is regarded as isotropic in that the covariance function depends on the Euclidean distance among the two considered points. We demonstrate the application of the method to a bivariate spatial process of corn plants for construction the simultaneous kriging maps of the process which are generated by scatting the contour plot of the optimum prediction of the corn plants over the experimental region under bivariate parametric power type variogram model. Abstract

In this paper we demonstrate the application of partial sums technique in checking the validity of a multivariate linear regression model. In contrast to classical approaches where multivariate normality is always assumed, in this work we propose a test method in which the underlying distribution of the vector of response variables is unknown. In the first step the array of the observations is transformed by using multivariate set-indexed partial sums operator to the corresponding sequence of set-indexed partial sums process. The limit process is shown to be decomposable as a sum of a multivariate deterministic trend function and the p-dimensional set-indexed Brownian sheet. We show that testing the validity of the ordinary model is equivalent with that of the asymptotic model. Hence, the test problem can be handled by investigating that for the asymptotic model. Next, we define likelihood ratio test by computing the ratio between the likelihood of the trend under H0 and under H1 which are derived from the Cameron-Martin-Girsanov formula of the density function of the asymptotic model with respect to the p-dimensional Brownian sheet. The performance of the test is investigated by conducting Monte Carlo simulation. Application of the method to multivariate data is also discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
