Our research focuses on regional economic growth and development, concentrating on Douglas County, one of the foundational pieces of the Kansas, United States economy. This paper will analyze trends in the County and outline an economic plan for where they should strive to create changes. The method used will compare Douglas County to Kansas and then the United States by industry using a measure called Location Quotient, which measures the strengths and weaknesses of an industry using a ratio matrix. Porter cluster analysis was employed to visualize and analyze how fostering an environment of competition, economic growth, and development will increase productivity, drive business synergy to the industries that need it the most, and stimulate new businesses with economic potential via the results from our Location Quotient analysis within the Douglas County region. Our concluding recommendations will be based on past literature that has commonalities with our finding, providing policymakers, academics, and stakeholders with a spectrum of information while highlighting the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats framework. This paper's bibliometric investigation aims to provide the formula for effective sports training. Finding patterns and trends in the literature is important to help coaches and athletes enhance their training plans. The Scopus database and 4276 articles were used for the analysis. According to the findings, the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research has the highest H-Index of 50. With 199 documents, the University of Copenhagen in Denmark is the leading affiliate. With a total of 595 times, the term "exercise" is used by the authors the most. Additionally, "dyspnea" has the biggest relative growth, while "exercise training" is a trending issue with the largest absolute increase. The terms "power," "speed," and "strength" all have definitions that are very relevant to coaching athletes. The findings demonstrate that effective sports training necessitates a multidisciplinary strategy that considers each athlete's particular requirements and skills. This study sheds important new light on the literature on exercise training and emphasises the significance of evidence-based training in sports. A bibliometric analysis was performed to examine global publication trends and patterns connected to the use of information technology in sports education. All articles from the Scopus database from 1996-2023, totaling 396 articles related to this theme, were taken and then analysed using the help of mapping engineering analysis software, namely VOSviewer. The research findings show that there have been fluctuations in the number of publications, but 2011 marked the beginning of the trend for publications to increase by double digits. Of the 186 documents, the document types "conference paper" and "article" were the largest among the other types, with 173, respectively. The well-known journal "Journal of Physics Conference Series," is the scientific source that has published the most articles with 32 documents. Other findings revealed that the "Computer Science" area, with 193 documents, was the one most studied by scholars to carry out their research. China is the country with the highest number of publications, namely 266 documents, and one of its universities, namely Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, is the top affiliate with ten published documents. The use of the keywords "information technology" (82 occurrences), and "physical education" with (81 occurrences), is the most popular compared to other phrases for this topic. Our research provides more comprehensive information about the rapid progress of technological literacy in facilitating the development of sports education as a basic ingredient in building a country's sporting success. The Internet of Things (IoT) has made our surroundings more innovative and responsive, which has improved our lives. This research aims to provide a comprehensive overview by describing the descriptive parameters of publications, visualizing co-authorship and citation patterns, extracting the authors' keywords, and determining the impact and research performance of the IoT in education. Subsequently, this paper provides an orientation for researchers to understand better the main progress and gaps in this scientific publication. From 2006 to 2021, a comprehensive inspection of 2503 documents in the Scopus database was accomplished. Based on the findings, the number of publications increased steadily, with a hike in publication numbers in 2020. Scholars from China contributed approximately 467 of the total global publications among 103 other countries. In addition, of the other 160 outlets, Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing was the most prolific source title. Generally, there is sustained interest and increased research in this field, apart from establishing novel methods and directions. Accordingly, an in-depth examination of the IoT in education research may assist researchers and practitioners in advancing prospective knowledge in this subject by identifying gaps. Basketball is a very technical sport that requires good physical condition. A talent skills assessment instrument specifically created for high school basketball players is critical to advancing their growth in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to design, create, and evaluate the validity of a skills evaluation instrument specifically created for junior high school basketball players in Indonesia. For this development research design, junior high school basketball players who had completed the training programme were selected as samples. Coefficient alpha analysis was used to assess the validity of the instrument, and the results were very encouraging. The alpha coefficient of all items is close to or equal to 1.00, which indicates the validity of the proposed evaluation instrument is very good. With the help of this evaluation instrument, athletes can be grouped based on their skill level and carry out talent evaluations more successfully. This makes it easier for coaches and team leaders to create training plans that are more focused on the skill areas that each athlete needs to improve. As a result, this assessment instrument is useful for individual and collective team growth. The findings of this research demonstrate the reliability of the development instrument created and its potential to improve the training and growth of junior high school basketball players in Indonesia. By utilising these assessment techniques, we can ensure that coaching efforts concentrate on the unique needs of each athlete, resulting in better results in the game of high school basketball. However, these findings also point to a number of topics that require further investigation. Future research could look at larger samples and include additional elements such as athletes' physical, mental, and social conditions for a more thorough examination. In this way, we can understand more deeply the elements that influence the abilities of junior high school basketball players. The skills evaluation instrument created specifically for junior high school basketball players in Indonesia has good validity.
