The article discusses the initiatives of the authors in starting the Women Against Domestic Violence to raise awareness, engage, and empower others about violence against women. The authors use the Half the Sky toolkit to stage an event which can draw a crowd and they emphasize how they enable to manage the challenge associated with holding a big event. They also mention the role of professors in encouraging students with passion for social justice.
