W opracowaniu Autorzy zajęli się mało dotąd poznanym sandrem, położonym w północno-wschodniej Polsce, pomiędzy Oleckiem i Rajgrodem, składającym się z kilku piaszczysto-żwirowych stożków sandrowych w okolicach Olecka, Skomętna i Rajgrodu. Strefa występowania tych form liczy ok. 50 km długości, ma szerokość od kilkuset metrów do 3 km i przecina cztery strefy morenowe. Przeprowadzone przez autorów badania wykazały, że dolny poziom sandrowy Olecka stanowił najmłodszą drogę odpływu wód roztopowych stoŜka sandrowego Olecko-Rajgród. Rozpoznane litofacje (dzięki analizom składu frakcji żwirowej i ich obtoczenia) wskazują, że utworzyła go rzeka roztokowa. Cechy teksturalne osadów budujących stożek sandrowy świadczą, że przeszedł on kilka faz rozwojowych, powiązanych ze zmianami odległości obszaru od czaszy aktywnego lądolodu i długości transportu materiału skalnego w środowisku glacifluwialnym o dużej energii., The outwash fan situated in north-eastern Poland between Olecko and Rajgród belongs to the worst expressed forms. The sandy and gravel form under study is also weakly recognized and geomorphologicaly surveyed. The sandy-gravel fields of sand located in the vicinities of Olecko, Skomętno and Rajgród are defined as the local sandurs (outwash fans). The zone of sandy sediments occurrence with total length of some 50 km is differentiated by width (from hundreds of meters to few, locally up to 3 km) and is cut by four latitudinal zones of icemarginal moraines). The lower Olecko outwash level has its continuation further south and is the youngest way of sandur water outflow that can be defined as Olecko-Rajgród outwash fan. The sandur outwash was of brided river type: a proximal in the north part and a distal in the south part what is emphasized by the lithofacies. During the research there have been found some changes in the cobbles rock composition and roundness that could be caused due to the transport processes while the outwash fans were created. The textural features of the sediments in the outwash fan between Olecko and Rajgród indicate for few stages in the evolution of the form. Cobbles shape and selective petrographical diversification (i.e. locally conditioned low or high contents) is to some extent caused by the distance from the active ice sheet and the length of transportation in high energy environment., Nr 4 (2007): Słupskie Prace Geograficzne, 79-92
