This bachelor thesis aims at demonstrating, in the example of Lidové noviny opinion journalism, the decline of the transgressives (especially verbal) in the past 120 years and at together with it should confirm that even in the current opinion journalism of Lidové noviny, transgressives are found. The work contains an outline of the developmental dynamics of transgressives in opinion journalism in Lidové noviny as well as an analysis of some used transgressives. Part of the thesis is also a voluminous chapter describing theoretically the problems of transgressives, from which the quantitative findings in the practical part of the thesis are based, as well as the chapter focused on opinion journalism and its genres.

The aim of this master's thesis, "Utilizing an interactive whiteboard to learn verbs in German lesson" is presented in two parts. The theoretical part is devoted to aspects which influence teaching, and therefore the preparation of interactive materials. The practical part is focused on the proposal of activities used on the interactive whiteboard. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter allows us to view the educative process from a psychological perspective, attempting to clarify the importance of relevant styles and strategies used effectively while learning a foreign language. The concern of chapter two is an interactive board and multimedia. Principles which should be followed by educators who are creating teaching materials are also introduced. Furthermore, there are presented internet portals which can be used in German lessons. The last chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to grammar and the grammatical category - verbs. The practical part is predominantly based on creating your own teaching materials, which are designed to practise German verbs. The activities are split up into two sections (for elementary school and high school). An evaluation of the teaching materials results from survey. They were verified in the educational practice.

This paper is focusing on the problematic of dividing Japanese verbs into volitional and non-volitional groups and the usage of volitional verbs in grammatical categories and grammatical mood as well. The textbooks for Czech deaf people and textbooks for hearing foreigners is the subject of this thesis. The thesis focuses on the interpretation of verbs in them. The whole issue is framed within the broader framework of methods and procedures used in the education of deaf students. The first part deals with the problems of teaching Czech deaf people from the Czech Republic, especially teaching Czech as a second / foreign language. Attention is paid to methods of teaching foreign languages. The thesis is devoted to verbs in Czech language and Czech sign language, their functional and structural differences. The second part is a compilation of available textbooks of Czech language for deaf students, and textbooks of Czech language for hearing foreigners. It is directed mainly to the interpretation of verbs. The third part offers interviews with teachers from primary schools for the hearing impaired. The interviews are focused on their approach to teaching Czech in general, used textbooks, and the difficulties associated with teaching verbs. The conclusion of the thesis provides a summary of the general features of textbooks of Czech language for the deaf and textbooks of Czech language for hearing foreigners, especially their conception of the interpretation of verbs. This bachelor thesis deals with a specific sequence in the acquisition of German verb placement. The actual subject of research is the language textbook for self-learners "German with Ease" produced by the company Assimil. The textbook supposedly offers a method based on similar principles, which apply in L1 acquisition. The goal of the thesis is to asses to what extent the acquisition sequence has been respected in the textbook. The thesis thus provides a critical analysis of the textbook on a psycholinguistic background. The theoretical part consists of a description of the textbook and compares the Assimil method with other existing methods. It also reviews the psycholinguistic research in the field of acquisition sequences. The practical part of the thesis describes data types and foci, data selection, data presentation and evaluation. Based on the conclusions of the practical part, changes are presented, which may result in the textbook quality enhancement.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is an analysis of four baroque writings from the first quarter of the 18th century, with a special focus on verbs, their forms, meanings and usage. The analysed writings are Sláva kostela Vyšehradského by Jan Florián Hammerschmid, the sermons Čtrnácte pomocníků by Colmann Hendl and Kníže Pokoje by František Jan Svoboda and finally the symbolic interpretation of the Plzeň?s history Koráb Noëmový by Adam Kratochvile. The thesis is divided into the theoretical part containing the interpretation of the period language norm based on several grammar books and the practical part. The verbs of the mentioned baroque writing are analysed in the scope of phonetics, morfology, lexicology and syntax. The acquired results are compared with the period theoretical principles contained in grammars. The goal of the bachelor thesis is the general evaluation of verb forms? period usage.

This work is concerned with using of evaluative prefixes of types archi-, extra-, hyper- and super- in french. The theoretical part concentrates on connecting of these prefixes with different types of words, like nouns, adjectives, adverbs and verbs. We are concerned above all with adjectives, where these prefixes are used when forming an absolute superlative. Further ways of forming an absolute superlative are specified here for comparison with the use of these prefixes. Furthermore, this work examines the use of these lexemes as single standing words. The practical part targets concrete examples of prefix connections archi-, extra-, hyper-, super- with adjectives used by native speakers. The target is to investigate according to which rule these prefixes are connected with adjectives, which one is the most and the least used and if there is any diference in using these prefixes among men and women. The Czech conjugaion is typical of relative instability of particular conjugation paradigma. The aim of this thesis is to examine a systematic transitiv of verbs of one class to another class on the one hand and to examine fluctuation of chosen verbs between different patterns, to determine topical forms of these transitions and fluctuation and finally to determine the direction of this transitiv, i. e. identificate more frequently used paradigma for each transitiv and fluctuation on the other hand. De facto it is the eximinaton of stability of verbal conjugation, with the aim to identify stronger or more dominant paradigma. A typice example of the transitiv is the migration of verbs from first class (mazat) to fifth class (dělat), a typice example of fluctuation is the second class, in which individual verbs tend to fluctuate between different patterns. Neither the fluctuation nor the transitiv do not happen at the same level in all morphological forms: the aim of this thesis is to identify these forms and determine the level and frequency of fluctuations and transitions in the contemporary usage from the corpus data (ČNK) and data obtained from questionnaires. This work is dividend into a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part we discuss verbal categories and classification of verbs based od them. Besides the classical Czech systém, we describe also one-stem systém (Townsend 2000, section 2.2), then we describe individual classes, patterns and also transitions and fluctuations esistin in the Czech verbal systém. The practical part is dedicated to verification of described tendencies. We proceed along two lines: on the one hand we use data from ČNK and on the other hand, (led by an effort to reach even spoken, not only written languages, in which the corpus SYN is based), the author made a questionnaire to which 85 people responded. The results of both examinations overlap.

The bachelor papers have a goal to examine the area of semantic characteristics of verbs that are used by younger school-age children in their written expressions. The individual written works of the children from the fifth class of elementary school are a base for the research. The quantitative methods of research are used due to the gaining of relevant facts for the analysis of the collected material. Any quantification of the cognitive development cannot be held as generally true. The bachelor papers enrol certain tendencies of the children's speech development, which can become an impulsion for further scientific research. An asset of the papers is also an appendix with the primary younger school-age children's texts. The bachelor papers are divided into a theoretical and an empiric part. The theoretical part describes the basic starting points of psycholinguistics and introduces different attitudes to the language acquisition by a child. Further, it contains a chapter characterizing a period of younger school age and chapters devoting the issue of verbs, their semantics and a classification in light of semantic features. This Bachelor Thesis is focused on the frequency of infinitive verbal periphrases that are inherent in authentic texts of the European Union law. The aim of the Thesis is to provide an overview of the occurrence of verbal periphrases and to introduce different options of their translation in legal documents. The introductory chapters examine the definition of verbal periphrases and characterize them. They also present various authors and their methods for the identification of verbal periphrases and describe their classification. The practical part analyses concrete texts of the European Union law which are included in the eur-lex database. It assesses the occurrence of this phraseology in selected legislation and case-law documents and it makes comparisons of the representation and translation of the periphrases found. The observations are summarised in graphs and tables that provide a picture of the frequency of each group of verbal periphrases {--} modal and aspectual and their comparisons are also provided.

Slovesa typu jít/chodit, běžet/běhat, nést/nosit atd., obvykle označovaná jako slovesa pohybu, poutají opakovaně pozornost badatelů a badatelek zabývajících se slovanskými jazyky. Důvodem je především to, že tato slovesa se chovají v mnohém jinak než „běžná” slovesa nedokonavá. Dosavadní analýzy uvedených českých sloves využívají zejména metody funkčně-strukturní a každý z typů (typ jít i typ chodit) se snaží popsat pomocí minimálního počtu obvykle velmi abstraktních rysů. V této práci se autorka pokouší – s využitím kognitivního přístupu k jazyku – ukázat „významy” obou typů sloves jako uspořádané a vzájemně propojené struktury. The author carries out an analysis of the Czech verbs of movement, such as: jít/chodit, běžet/běhat, nést/nosit etc. with the use of cognitive methods of linguistics. She investigates different uses of a particular verb which form a radial structure of the prototype. This enables to allocate the particular “knots” which are also characterized by the radial structure. The author concludes that semantic structures, of the analyzed by her verbs, coincide with several semantic fields.

Práce je zaměřena na problematiku negativního jazykového transferu anglicky mluvicích studentů češtiny jako ciziho jazyka. Na materiálu deseti českých sloves s významem interpersonálni komunikace, totiž říci (si), říkat (si), říkávat (si), mluvit, hovořit, povědět, povídat (si), oznámit, informovat a konstatovat, ukazuje, jaký obraz jazykového jednáni je typický pro rodilé mluvči češtiny. V porovnáni s převzatou analýzou anglických lexémů speak, talk, say a tell stanovuje shody a rozdily obrazu jazykového jednáni v češtině a v angličtině a predikuje oblasti negativního jazykového transferu u anglicky mluvicich studentů češtiny jako ciziho jazyka.
