In this article, we proposed a method to stabilize nonlinear fractional order systems with variable delay, using generalized Gronwall Inequality and step procedures. We introduce a necessary stability condition for the systems under consideration. Our findings suggest that our results are more conservative when compared with the existing literature on long-run instability parameters.
