This study was conducted to find out the effect of motivation and networking on the success of Muslim millennial SMEs. This study uses a quantitative and deductive approach. A questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument. Data were collected from a random sample of 60 respondents, which consisted of millennial entrepreneurs in Malaysian public universities, aged around 15 years to 45 years, and had at least three years of experience in running a business. The proposed hypothesis was tested using Multiple Regression analysis. the results confirm that at least one of the tested independent variables will significantly influence the dependent variable. The entrepreneurship education of Muslim SME millennials is still a question. This issue needs to be the main focus of developing an education model for youth that can be applied in their career and potentially become entrepreneurs who build their dynamic and successful SMEs. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of entrepreneurial spirits, namely innovative, risk-taking, and proactive, on the success of Muslim millennial SMEs. The study employed a quantitative and deductive approach. The questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument. Data were gathered from a random sample of 150 respondents, comprising millennial entrepreneurs in Malaysian public universities, aged 22 to 38 years old and with at least three years of business experience. Proposed hypotheses were tested using Multiple Regression analysis. The findings reveal the significant and positive effect of innovation, risk-taking, and proactive on Muslim millennial SMEs' success, implying that a higher level of innovation, risk-taking, and proactive, is more likely to yield in Muslim millennial SMEs' success. Thus, Muslim millennial SMEs' success can be generated by instilling entrepreneurial spirit. In addition to empirical evidence, the findings provide fresh insights into how entrepreneurs can formulate strategies to achieve business success.

COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound effect on campuses, compelling learning systems to shift away from face-to-face engagement and toward online instruction. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of remote learning in the event of a COVID-19 pandemic. To obtain responses, a self-administered online survey was used. After data screening, 315 data were proceeded to the next analysis. Additionally, the data were devoid of missing cases and outliers. The measuring model was evaluated for indicator and internal consistency reliability, convergent and discriminant validity. Meanwhile, the structural model was evaluated by SmartPLS version 3.2.9 utilising the bootstrapping approach. Findings revealed self-discipline and flexibility were significant towards effectiveness of online learning among students at the UiTM Kelantan, Kota Bharu Campus. The findings argue that, in the modern era, internet technologies have increased the flexibility of post secondary education in a variety of ways. Institutions should make strategic use of these new flexibility, concentrating on chances to engage students more deeply in learning that results in practical outcomes.

This article presents youths’ opinions on the positive or negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) impacts from economic and daily routine perspectives. Interview sessions were conducted to determine the intricacies encountered by Malaysian youth communities. Although adverse effects involving unemployment denoted the key issue of local youth communities, positive counterparts were equally identified. For example, youths strived to venture into novel fields (online businesses and food delivery services) following new social norms. Predictably, this study would increase policymakers’ awareness in determining the positive and negative influences faced by marginalised youths during the COVID-19 health crisis.

This is our third International Conference on Mathematics, Statistics and Computing Technology (ICMSCT 2021) Conference which is virtually broadcasted from Kasetsart University, Thailand on 27 - 28 October 2021. This successful conference was organized by Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Kelantan, Malaysia and Kasetsart University Bangkok, Thailand, in collaboration with Institut Teknologi Bandung (Indonesia), Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University (Thailand) and Chiang Mai University (Thailand). Due to pandemic Covid-19 which led to travel restriction to Bangkok, Thailand, this join forces of Asian educational institutions conducted the conference remotely through Webex for researchers to present papers in Mathematics, Statistics and Computing Technology which are well represented in this proceedings volume. The conference presented Prof. Dhia Al-Jumeily from Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom as a Keynote speaker and Prof. Kongkitti Pusawat from Kasetsart University, Thailand as an invited speaker in two-hour plenary session to share their experience and latest knowledge in mathematics and computing technology. During parallel sessions, many contributed papers were presented and discussed through question and answer session in a feasible Webex link platform for each parallel session. We believe that the participants of ICMSCT have gained knowledge and built networking with all researchers in the same field. We also hope this collection of papers can benefit the readers and continue to play a large part in the future of ICMSCT conferences. The organisers would like to thank the team from the Institute of Physics Conference Office, led by Dr Lorna Wroe for realizing this proceedings publication.
