Background: Prediction of vestibular schwannoma (VS) growth would allow for a more differentiated follow-up protocol. Objectives: The natural course of a VS and predictive factors of growth are investigated. Methods: Sixty-two sporadic VS cases diagnosed between 2003 and 2015 were included in this retrospective cohort study. After initial surveillance, active therapy was initiated in 31/62 patients. Regular magnetic resonance images (MRIs) were performed. Two mm/year linear difference was the cut-off value for significant growth. The STROBE guidelines have been implemented. Results: Growth of the tumor was detected in 56% of patients and mainly observed in the first three years of follow-up. Tumor size remained stable in 34% and decreased in 10% of patients. No baseline information, symptom, or sign was found to be predictive for growth. Conclusions: In 56% of the initially conservatively managed VSs growth was observed and active treatment was initiated. Eighty-seven percent of the growing VSs were identified during the first three years of follow-up. The initially larger VSs seemed to grow faster and needed active treatment earlier during follow-up. No predicting factors for growth identified from the literature could be confirmed in the present study. Serial MRI remains the appropriate method to detect tumor growth.

4. Scleral shape and its correlation with corneal parameters in keratoconus

Purpose: To assess the correlation of the scleral shape and corneal tomographic parameters in keratoconus. Methods: Twenty eyes of 15 keratoconus patients with no previous specialty lens wear or ocular surgery were included in this study. Corneal imaging was obtained with the Pentacam HR and three-dimensional (3D) corneoscleral maps were acquired using the Eye Surface Profiler, ESP. Sagittal height was calculated at the central corneal level (annulus of 0 & ndash;4 mm radius), peripheral cornea (annulus 4 & ndash;6 mm radius) and sclera (annulus 6 & ndash;8 mm radius) using ESP maps and Pentacam HR (exclusively for the central cornea). The flattest and steepest regions of each annulus and the circumferential scleral asymmetry were calculated based on custom-made software. The Pearson correlation coefficient (r) was used to evaluate the correlation between corneal parameters as measured by Pentacam HR and scleral asymmetry. Results: Anterior corneal parameters, such as flattest and steepest keratometry, were found to be correlated with scleral asymmetry in keratoconus (all r>0.5, p < 0.05). In contrast, anterior astigmatism showed poor correlation with the level of scleral irregularity (r=-0.11; p = 0.32). Other disease-specific parameters pertaining to the posterior corneal curvature and corneal thickness were not correlated with scleral asymmetry. The steepest regions of the central cornea, peripheral cornea, and sclera tended to share a common angle (r = 0.92; p < 0.001 for central cornea compared to sclera). Conclusion: Anterior corneal parameters measured by corneal imaging are associated with the level of scleral asymmetry and the orientation of the steepest area of the sclera in eyes with keratoconus.

Online brochures are one of the preferred choices in describing the advertisement’s worth of many linguistic features. ‘Parenting’ strategies are one of the topics which are discussed in the online brochures. We can find the quotes and problem-solving about ‘parenting’ spread in cyberspace. Online parenting brochures are made by a personal or community to share that importance. The clause in parenting brochures discourse has a semantic meaning of its speech function. The language of the brochures was examined by using Halliday’s theory of Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL), then it was found that the language in the brochures was formulated interpersonally. The meanings of the clause are developed in any interactive features in exchanging the giving and demanding move of speech function. This research was conducted qualitatively by analyzing 48 clauses in the brochures. It was found that the most commonly used linguistic clause in the brochures was the statement (71%) as a way of giving information to the readers. Then the rest was the command (29%) for the parents or the childminder to be applied in nurturing the children. Besides, multimodal strategies were also used to make the brochures more eye-catching. The semiotics modes used in the brochures were supported by the meaning making of the discourse. The readers were also invited to comprehend the urgent situation of the topic discussed.

6. ANALISIS PETROFISIKA DALAM MENGIDENTIFIKASI ZONA POTENSI HIDROKARBON PADA FORMASI TUALANG DAN LAKAT

Well logging dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi zona produktif, membedakan antara minyak, gas, atau air di dalam reservoar, dan memperkirakan cadangan hidrokarbon. Salah satu metode dalam pendekatan parameter karakterisasi reservoir yang cukup efektif adalah dengan menggunakan analisis petrofisika. Pada penelitian ini melakukan analisis petrofisika berupa analisis kualitatif serta analisis kuantitatif dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui nilai volume shale, porosity, dan saturasi air, kemudian menghitung ketebalan reservoir berdasarkan nilai net pay. Berdasarkan analisis kualitatif didapatkan 2 zona reservoir yaitu pada interval kedalaman 1112-1116m dan 1211-1219m. Berdasarkan analisis kuantitatif dihasilkan nilai volume shale pada zona reservoir A dan B yaitu 17,7 – 26,9% dan 8,5 – 16,6%, kemudian nilai porositas total pada zona reservoir A dan B yaitu 16,5 – 22,7% dan 23,1 – 25,9% sedangkan nilai porositas efektif pada zona reservoir A dan B yaitu 15 – 20,6% dan 22,6 – 25.7%. Kemudian, untuk nilai saturasi air total pada zona reservoir A dan B yaitu 34,4 - 42% dan 28,6 – 36,4%, sedangkan untuk nilai saturasi air efektif pada zona reservoir A dan B yaitu 23,1 – 25,9% dan 22,6 – 25,7%. Kemudian didapatkan ketebalan reservoir yang berisi hidrokarbon (netpay) yaitu sebesar 3,058 m yang berada pada Formasi Tualang. Maka zona reservoir yang memiliki prospek hidrokarbon terdapat pada zona reservoir A pada Formasi Tualang.

Obat merupakan sediaan farmasi yang harus dikelola oleh tenaga kesehatan memiliki keahlian dan kewenangan dalam melakukan praktik kefarmasian. Berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 51 Tahun 2009 tentang Pekerjaan Kefarmasian, sarana yang tidak memiliki keahlian dan kewenangan artinya sarana tersebut tidak memiliki tenaga kefarmasian dalam melaksanakan dan menerapkan standar profesi yang dibuktikan dengan memiliki surat izin praktik sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Namun pada praktiknya masih ditemukan tindak pidana melaksanakan praktik kefarmasian tidak memiliki keahlian dan kewenangan, sehingga perbuatan tersebut telah diminta pertanggungjawaban pidananya dan telah mendapat putusan pengadilan dengan putusan pidana yang ringan yaitu Putusan Nomor 543/Pid.sus/2022/PN Pdg dan Putusan Nomor 280/Pid.Sus/2022/PN Pmn. Rumusan Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah : 1) Bagaimanakah penerapan sanksi pidana terhadap pelaku tindak pidana tidak memiliki keahlian dan kewenangan untuk melakukan praktik kefarmasian pada kasus Putusan Nomor 543/Pid.sus/2022/PN Pdg dan kasus Putusan Nomor 280/Pid.Sus/2022/PN Pmn? 2) Bagaimanakah dasar pertimbangan hakim terhadap pelaku tindak pidana tidak memiliki keahlian dan kewenangan untuk melakukan praktik kefarmasian pada kasus Putusan Nomor 543/Pid.sus/2022/PN Pdg dan Kasus Putusan Nomor 280/Pid.Sus/2022/PN Pmn? Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum yuridis normatif, Penerapan sanksi pidana telah memenuhi unsur-unsur pidana pada Pasal 198 Undang-Undang Nomor 36 Tahun 2009 tentang Kesehatan dan dijatuhi pidana denda yang ringa yaitu sebesar Rp. 4.000.000 (empat juta rupiah) dan Rp. 5.000.000 (lima juta rupiah). Pidana denda harus dapat dirasakan sebagai penderitaan bagi pelaku tindak pidana sehingga menimbulkan efek jera dan tidak mengulangi kembali perbuatan pidana serta masyarakat lain tidak berbuat perbuatan serupa. Dasar pertimbangan hakim berasal dari yuridis dan non yuridis.

Topik baru di dalam ilmu kesehatan Indonesia melahirkan pertanyaan terhadap kedudukan rumah sakit untuk bertanggungjawab secara pidana terhadap penerapan sistem patient safety dalam menyelenggarakan asuhan keperawatan. Patient safety atau dikenal dengan keselamatan pasien menjadi topik penting dalam menghindari bahaya atau kemungkinan cedera pada pasien selama masa rawatan inap di rumah sakit. Rumah sakit sebagai korporasi bertanggungjawab atas kelalaian yang dilakukan oleh stafnya berdasarkan hubungan kerja yang terjalin di antara keduanya. Saat ini, dalam menetepkan tanggung jawab pidana rumah sakit dilakukan dengan melakukan proses penemuan hukum berdasarkan ketentuan Undang-Undang Kesehatan, Undang-Undang Rumah Sakit, Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana dan kebijakan hukum lainnya yang memiliki relevansi. Dalam penerapannya, patient safety sudah diatur secara hukum dalam Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia 1691/VIII/2011 tentang Keselamatan Pasien yang diperbaharui dalam Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 11 Tahun 2017 tentang Keselamatan Pasien. Perawat dalam melaksanakan praktik keperawatannya dilakuaan dengan pemberian asuhan keperawatan yang telah diatur dalam Undang-Undang Keperawatan.

This activity is a collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and Business of Swadaya Gunung Jati University Indonesia, Panca Sakti University Tegal Indonesia, Thai Globa Business Administration Technological College Thailand (TGBC Thailand), Suan Dusit University and Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management University India. Community service activities were conducted at TGBC Thailand, with 50 participants consisting of 20 students and 30 lecturers. With this community service activity, students' character is formed by caring for the environment through tree planting activities in the surrounding environment. Besides, students can work together as a team, support each other, and strengthen their social ties to protect the environment.

Dalam praktik sosial, masyarakat telah mengenal mediasi penal yang berasal keadilan restoratif dengan kearifan lokal hukum adat Indonesia. Namun banyaknya anggapan bahwa penerapan hukum adat dimasyarakat cenderung lambat dikarenakan sulit menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman dan masih bersifat tradisional. Adapun rumusan masalah bagaimanakah penerapan pidana adat Kerinci terhadap tindak pidana penganiayaan, dan bagaimanakah perbandingan hukum pidana adat Kerinci dengan hukum pidana nasional dalam tindak pidana penganiayaan yang menimbulkan korban jiwa. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian hukum dengan pendekatan yuridis empiris yang diambil dari data primer dengan melakukan wawancara dan data sekunder dengan mengolah data dari bahan primer, bahan hukum sekunder dan bahan hukum tersier. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa dalam hukum adat Kerinci tindak pidana penganiayaan menggunakan norma luko bapampeh mati memberi bangun. Keberadaan proses Restorative Justice sebagai alternatif penyelesaian perkara pidana sangat ditentukan oleh kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat itu sendiri, termasuk aparat penegak hukum. Sanksi yang berbeda-beda akan diterapkan kepada pelaku tergantung dengan jenis lukanya. Seperti mengobati korban yang mengalami luka lebam hingga korban sembuh. Apabila korban meninggal dunia maka pelaku wajib membayar denda berupa satu ekor kerbau, beras seratus gantang beserta bumbunya, dan satu potong kain putih (30 yard).

Seiring dengan terjadinya peningkatan kasus pada kejadian pandemi Covid-19 diperlukan respon cepat dalam pengendalian penyebaran Covid-19, termasuk dalam proses pengawasan pelaku perjalanan pengguna transportasi udara. Untuk itu diperlukan kebijakan khusus terkait pemenuhan dokumen kesehatan dalam rangka pengawasan pelaku perjalanan, dengan melakukan digitalisasi dokumen kesehatan bagi pengguna transportasi udara yang terintegrasi dengan aplikasi PeduliLindungi untuk mengurangi kontak dan antrian penumpang di bandar udara. Surat Edaran ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan dukungan dan kerja sama kementerian/lembaga, pemerintah daerah, fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan, dan para pemangku kepentingan terkait dalam pelaksanaan pengawasan dokumen kesehatan pelaku perjalanan pengguna transportasi udara. PeduliLindungi adalah aplikasi yang dikembangkan untuk menghentikan penularan Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). Penegakan penggunaan aplikasi ini harus disertai dengan peraturan kepala daerah, yang secara mendasar menerapkan sanksi bagi penyelenggara tempat kegiatan publik yang melanggar disiplin penggunaan Aplikasi Pedulilindungi. Pemberian sanksi di antaranya pencabutan sementara atau tetap terhadap izin operasional tempat usaha tersebut, sehingga Penulis merasa tertarik untuk merumuskan permasalahan sebagai berikut: 1. Information on the type of OPT that attacks plantation commodities in Buton Regency is incomplete, even though the data can be the basis for mitigating attacks and controls if the plants have been attacked. For this reason, research was conducted to identify the type and distribution of pests in plantation crops, especially in cocoa, cloves, cashew, pepper, and coconut commodities. They analyzed the damage caused by OPT in plantation crops, especially in cocoa, cloves, cashews, pepper, and coconut commodities, and determined alternative solutions for control and prevention. Observations were made in several villages in several sub-districts in Buton Regency. Direct observations were made on the specified land, and interviews with farmers and various related parties were conducted. To get OPT-type data and damage levels. OPT that attacks cashew consists of two types of pests and one disease. The level of damage OPT in the categorized category of guava plants. The level of damage to the pest on the categorized cashew was low. In coconut commodities, found OPT from three types of pest groups, namely Orycter Rhynocheros, Aspidiotus Destructors, and Pestalotia sp. The level of attack of the three pests was categorized as low. Cocoa was the commodity mainly attacked by OPT, consisting of 4 types of pests and four types of diseases. Fruit rot (Phytophthora palmivora) and stem cancer (Phytophthora palmivora) had a heavy attack rate in all cocoa-producing districts in Buton Regency.

An Indonesian endophytic fungus Talaromyces veruculosus BioMCC-f.EP.2165, was cultured to find compounds that showing inhibitory activity against Plasmodium falciparum dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (PfDHODH). Preliminary extraction test (PET) was conducted for examination of active compounds properties in fungal culture broth. Active compounds were extracted and purified based on a method derived from PET result. We isolated altenusin as an active compound from the fungal culture extract. Although, altenusin has been reported previously as an inhibitor of PfDHODH and inhibited the proliferation of Plasmodium falciparum 3D7, we isolated this compound from endophytic Talaromyces fungus for the first time.

Both oil palm plantations boerdering forests and oil palm plantations bordering rubber plantations were studied using purposive random sampling with pit fall traps, sweep nets and yellow pan traps. Species biodiversity was analyzed using the Shanon-Wienner index and the Simpson index. The dominant species was determined using the Important Value Index. This study found 1,683 individuals, 7 orders and 18 families of predatory and parasitoid insects. The Shanon-Wienner diversity index was 2.78 for oil palm plantations adjacent to forest and 2.62 for oil palm plantations adjacent to rubber plantations. While the Simpson diversity index was 1.00 for oil palm plantations adjacent to forest and 0.94 for oil palm plantations adjacent to rubber plantations. The Order Hymenoptera Family Formicidae had the highest Important Value Index (0.58 for oil palm plantations bordering forest and 0.62 for oil palm plantations adjacent to rubber plantations).

Artikel melaporkan pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi bangun datar pada kelas V SDN 040529 Ajibuhara kecamatan Tiga Panah kabupaten Karo tahun pembelajaran 2020/2021. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian dalam artikel ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 31 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model STAD termasuk kategori baik sekali dengan rata-rata 80,64. Diperoleh pengujian normalitas dengan nilai signifikansi 0,20 maka 0,20 > 0,05 data kelas V berdistribusi normal. Pada pengujian kolerasi, koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,371 dengan signifikansi 0,040, artinya rhitung (0,371) > rtabel (0,355). Maka ada korelasi positif antara model STAD tehadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V. Hasil pengujian uji-t dimana ≥ yaitu 2,150 > 1,826 sehingga Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari pengaruh model pembelajaran STAD terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

The n-hexane fraction from the stem bark of Lansium domesticum Corr. Cv. Kokosan afforded 3 sesquiterpenoids, namely eudesm-4(15),7-dien-1β-ol (1), eudesm-4(15)-ene-1β,6α-diol (2), and octahydro-4-hydroxy-3a-methyl-7-methylene-a-(1-methylethyl)-1H-indene-1-methanol (3). These three compounds were discovered in the Lansium genus for the first time. Their chemical structures were determined based on data generated from various spectroscopic methods, including one- and two-dimensional NMR, as well as mass spectroscopy. Sesquiterpenoid compounds (1-3) have also been evaluated on MCF-7 breast cancer cell lines and the compound 1 showed the strongest activity with an IC50 value of 17.97 µg/mL while compounds 2 and 3 showed moderate and weak activity with IC50 values of 121.65 and 201.57 µg/mL, respectively. The implication of the findings of these compounds is as an illustration that one of these sesquiterpenoids has potential as an anticancer with the presence of double bond which played important role in the cytotoxic activity that can be studied for new drug discovery.

Kelapa sawit yang dibudidayakan pada areal replanting tidak tumbuh optimal karena sebagian besar diserang kumbang tanduk (Oryctes rhinoceros L.). Persentase serangan kumbang tanduk tergolong tinggi yakni 80% pada tanaman umur 3 tahun dan 100% pada umur 1-1.5 tahun. Diketahui limbah sisa replanting menjadi penyebab tingginya populasi kumbang tanduk karena batang kelapa sawit yang membusuk menjadi habitat yang cocok untuk perkembangan kumbang tanduk. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra diaplikasikan Pengelolaan Hama Terpadu (PHT). Komponen PHT yang akan diaplikasikan yakni kultur teknis, mekanis, serta pengendalian semiokimia dengan feromon. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi tingkat kerusakan hama kumbang tanduk pada tanaman kelapa sawit pasca replanting. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan, pelatihan, demplot (percontohan), pemberian bantuan alat dan mesin, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan diperoleh bahwa mitra mampu penerapan pengelolaan hama terpadu (PHT) secara mandiri di lahan masing-masing. Rakitan teknologi PHT yang sudah diaplikasikan dapat menurunkan tingkat serangan kumbang tanduk dari 86.68% menjadi 79.60%. Sampai saat ini perangkat PHT masih terpasang dan dioperasikan kelompok tani mitra. Aplikasi PHT di lokasi demplot secara nyata dapat menurunkan populasi kumbang tanduk, begitu juga tidak terlihat lagi gejala baru tanaman yang terserang.Aplikasi PHT yang berkelanjutan, meliputi lahan dengan skala luas, melibatkan semua pelaku usaha kelapa sawit akan meningkatkan peluang keberhasilan metode tersebut di masa yang akan datang.

Organic matter has a very important role in determining the level of soil fertility, especially in marginal soils such as Oxisol which is widespread in Indonesia. Organic matter that is commonly used requires large amounts and has the ability to react relatively slowly in the soil. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to obtain organic material that reacts quickly in the soil, such as humic material extracted from lignite. In this study, cocoa (Theobroma cacao) was used as an indicator plant. Cocoa is one of the plantation commodities that has a fairly important role in the national economy, especially as foreign exchange for the country and has a relatively stable price. This research was conducted in the form of a pot experiment using a 2 x 4 x 4 factorial design with 3 replications in a divided plot design, so that 32 treatments and 96 experimental units were obtained. From the research results obtained data that the addition of humic materials and compost up to a dose of 4% C-organic combined with artificial fertilizers can increase the availability of nutrients for cocoa seedlings in Oxisol. The best dose of each treatment was the addition of humic material at a dose of 4% C-organic combined with artificial fertilizer 50% of the recommendation and the addition of compost at a dose of 4% C-organic combined with artificial fertilizer 50% of the recommendation. The addition of organic matter can reduce the use of artificial fertilizers up to 50% of the recommendation. The addition of humic materials from unproductive coal can increase the availability of nutrients in Oxisol. Unproductive coal has the potential to increase Oxisol soil fertility.

The purpose of the study was to determine the role of trust as a mediating variable on the influence between online transactions and the satisfaction of active users of the Tokopedia marketplace in Indonesia, especially in the city of Cirebon. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire with the acidental sampling method which involved 100 active users of the Tokopedia marketplace in Cirebon City as respondents. The data analysis used is descriptive and inferential statistics, namely the Structure Equation Model using SmartPLS 3. Cameroon and Angola, accession palms oil, were two plants with different flower architectures such as bunch size, bunch length, number of spikelets and flowers, and volatile compounds produced. The difference in flower characteristics was thought to affect the presence of flower-visiting insects in the two palm oil accessions. The study aimed to determine the insects that visit Cameroon and Angola palm oil flower accessions. Insects that visit flowers were collected directly, using yellow pan traps, swing nets, and aspirators. Collected flower-visiting insects were identified as species. Diversity and evenness were calculated using the Shannon diversity index and the Simpsons’ evenness. The total number of flower-visiting insects collected was 2039 individuals. In the Angola accession, 150 individuals were found consisting of 5 orders, 10 families, and 14 species. Insects that visited Cameroon’s accession of palm oil flowers were 1889 individuals consisting of 8 orders, 16 families, and 22 species. Angola accessions’ diversity and evenness index were higher than Cameroon’s, namely 1.50; 1.14 and 1.14; 0.52. Flower-visiting insects that act as pollinators were Elaeidobius kamerunicus, Pyroderces Sp, and Thrips hawaiiensis.

Benih kakao termasuk benih rekalsitran yang memiliki beberapa kendala seperti kadar air yang tinggi, tidak tahan desikasi dan suhu rendah, serta mudah terserang jamur sehingga menyebabkan benih tidak dapat disimpan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Pada kondisi kadar air benih yang tinggi, perombakan cadangan makanan terjadi pada benih melalui proses respirasi benih juga tinggi yang menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan mutu benih akibatnya viabilitas dan vigor benih juga menurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelapisan benih kakao dengan gel lidah buaya terhadap viabilitas dan vigor benih, dan mendapatkan konsentrasi gel lidah buaya yang mampu mempertahankan vigor dan viabilitas benih kakao selama penyimpanan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret hingga Mei 2019 di Laboratorium Kampus III Universitas Andalas, Dharmasraya. Penelitian ini disusuan dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan beberapa konsentrasi gel lidah buaya yakni 0%, 25%, 50%, dan 75%. Setiap perlakuan tersebut diulang sebanyak 3 ulangan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan diketahui bahwa pelapisan benih dengan gel lidah buaya tidak berpengaruh terhadap viabilitas dan vigor benih kakao.

Oil palm plantations bordering forests were thought to affect the biotic components that make up the diversity of ecosystems, especially species with high mobilization and adaptability, such as spiders. This study aims to identify spiders found in oil palm plantations and analyzing diversity and evenness at various distances of oil palm plantations from the forest. Observations of spiders were carried out on oil palm plantations bordered by forests in Nagari Gunung Selasih and Sungai Kambut, Pulau Punjung District, Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra Province. In oil palm plantations, a one km long transect line was made from the forest edge. In the sample plots, spiders were observed using a pitfall trap, knockdown, and hand collecting. Data were analyzed using the Shannon-Wiener diversity and evenness index. The highest spider species diversity index was found at a distance of 100–300 m from the forest, respectively 3.06, 3.05, and 3.11. The same is true for the highest evenness index at a distance of 100–300 m from the forest, respectively, namely 0.94, 0.94, and 0.95. In general, the results of this study indicate that the presence of forest bordering the forest is thought to affect spiders in oil palm plantations.

Improving learning activities requires teaching materials that can accommodate students' scientific skills. This study aims to produce textbooks for additives and addictive substances with a scientific approach and analyze their validity and effectiveness. This research and development used the Borg & Gall model which consists of 10 steps. Products are validated by media experts and material experts. The product trial used a limited test with 15 students of seventh grade in junior high school. The validation results show that the product is valid and very good. Meanwhile, the results of the trial of student responses to the use of the average value of 89.13% and learning outcomes increased by 87%. Thus, the textbooks developed are very suitable for use in the learning process.

Introduction: The availability of food sources influences the abundance of insect pollinators. The interaction between plants and insect pollinators is a symbiotic mutualism. In addition, the use of a plant barrier could attract insect pollinators in foraging activities. The study aimed to determine the effect of plant barrier on the abundance of insect pollinators and the yield of chili pepper. This research was carried out on agricultural land in Lumpoknyo village, North Luwuk, Banggai Regency, in July - December 2020. Methods: The research was carried out using a randomized block design, and four treatments, namely chili plants without barriers and covered with nets (P0 or control), eggplant plant barriers (P1), plant barriers with Zinnia sp and Cosmos caudatus (P2), and tomato plant barrier (P3). Observations were made every day at the time of flowering for 14 days. Sample collection of insect pollinators is done by taking insects that visit chili flowers using a sweep net. Results: Three species of insect pollinators were collected, namely Bembecinius sp, Ceratina sp, and Nomia sp. 730 individuals were found on eggplant barriers, 660 individuals on Zinnia sp and Cosmos caudatus barriers and 592 on tomato barriers. The highest individual is Ceratina sp (810 individuals), followed by Nomia sp. (799 individuals), and Bembecinius sp (373 individuals). Chili pepper cultivation using eggplant barrier yielded 4,93 kg/plot, Zinnia sp and Cosmos caudatus barriers 3,96 kg/plot, tomato barrier 3,62 kg/plot, and the lowest yield was shown in chili pepper fields covered with insect nets. of 2,00 kg/plot. Conclusion: The barrier system using eggplant is considered effective for increasing the abundance of insect pollinators and the yield of chili pepper.

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan cara: 1) Kegiatan konservasi di bantaran sungai Batang Hari, dan 2) Pengenalan tanaman aren serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam hal budidaya aren. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Jorong Sungai Kilangan Nagari Sungai Dareh Kabupaten Dharmasraya dengan metode ceramah, diskusi dan demonstrasi penanaman aren di bantaran sungai. Jumlah mahasiswa yang dilibatkan adalah sebanyak lima orang. Masyarakat Nagari Sungai Dareh sangat antusias mendengarkan dan berdiskusi tentang budidaya aren dan pentingnya melakukan konservasi sungai. Kebanyakan peserta sangat tertarik dan akan langsung menanam aren pada lahan mereka masing-masing, namun masih ada beberapa yang masih akan mempelajari lebih lanjut. Meliaceae plants are found worldwide in tropical or subtropical climates. They are important ethnobotanically as sources of traditional medicine, with 575 species and 51 genera. Previous research found that microorganisms are plant pioneers to produce secondary metabolites with diverse compound structures and bioactivities. Several plants of the Meliaceae family contain secondary metabolites isolated from endophytic fungi. Furthermore, related articles from 2002 to 2022 were collected from SciFinder, Google Scholar, and PubMed. About 276 compounds were isolated from endophytic fungi such as terpenoids, polyketides, lactones, pyrones, quinone, anthraquinones, xanthones, coumarines, isocoumarines, resorcylic acid lactones, cytochalasins, aromatics, ester, quinols, alkaloids, nitro compound, fatty acids, and sugars with bioactivities such as antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-influenza, neuroprotective activities, anti-HIV, cytotoxic, allelopathic, anti-inflammatory, antifeedant effects, and BSLT toxicity. Meanwhile, secondary metabolites isolated from endophytic fungi were reported as one of the sources of active compounds for medicinal chemistry. This comprehensive review summarizes the ethnobotanical uses and secondary metabolites derived from Meliaceae endophytic fungi.

Title: Optimizing the Role of Assistance Student of Upsus Pajale Programs to Accelerate the Introduction of Cultivation Technology Jajar Legowo Super in Sijunjung Regency The Faculty of Agriculture of Andalas University is one of the government's partners in the successful implementation of Rice, Corn and Soybean (Upsus) Program at special province of West Sumatra. The implementation of Upsus Pajale in West Sumatra was found in eight districts and cities on 2017, one of which was Sijunjung Regency. Students and alumni participated as a companion in the implementation of several Upsus Pajale programs. In contrast to the implementation of Upsus Pajale in 2015 and 2016, in 2017, there were activities in applying technology in the work area of the accompanying students. The technology introduced by the field assistant lecturer together with the accompanying students, is the cultivation of Jajar Legowo super. The application of this technology was implemented in three sub-districts in Sijunjung Regency, namely Sijunjung, Tanjung Gadang and Kamang Baru. The activity was carried out in the form of a demonstration plot on the partner farmer's group's land. The technology of jajar legowo super has been successfully introduced to partner farmer groups, which is marked by increased production. The results showed that there was an increase in rice productivity using the Jajar Legowo Super method up to 4.6 tons / ha to 5.2 tons / ha than the conventional method of only 1.7-2 tons / ha.

Pulau Punjung adalah kecamatan yang diprioritaskan untuk pengembangan komoditas kelapa sawit di Kabupaten Dharmasraya. Produksi kelapa sawit rakyat yang rendah disebabkan oleh proses penyerbukan yang tidak optimal sehingga terbentuk buah partenokarpi dengan fruit set rendah. Selama ini, penyerbukan pada tanaman kelapa sawit dibantu oleh serangga polinator Elaeidobius kamerunicus Faust. Akan tetapi, pada perkebunan kelapa sawit rakyat, populasi serangga tersebut rendah. Solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut adalah aplikasi teknologi hatch & carry serangga polinator E. kamerunicus. Teknologi tersebut diperkenalkan kepada mitra, yakni petani kelapa sawit rakyat yang tergabung dalam kelompok tani budi daya. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan, demplot, bantuan alat berupa paket teknologi hatch & carry, serta pendampingan. Teknologi hatch & carry dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi kelompok tani mitra. Hal itu ditandai dengan meningkatnya produksi TBS setelah metode tersebut diaplikasikan selama empat bulan. Keberhasilan aplikasi teknologi tersebut berkat meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani mitra setelah mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian. Pada akhir kegiatan, kelompok tani mitra diberi perangkat teknologi hatch & carry yang terpasang di lahan dan bisa dioperasikan secara mandiri.

Background: Mini-CEX is a popular workplace exam that includes direct observation and a feedback conversation. This evaluation occurs in a workplace setting as part of the daily work. Self-efficacy is a mandatory soft skill for nursing students during an internship. Therefore, this study aims to identify the effect of Mini-CEX on self-efficacy among these students. Design and Methods: A quasi-experiment design was conducted with a control group. All the nursing student intents of the Sari Mutiara Indonesia University were considered as the study population. This population was then divided into one control and one intervention group of 24 and 25 students, respectively. Subsequently, data collection was carried out using general self-efficacy. Results: The results showed the self-efficacy was low in the control group (66.7%), and Mini-CEX was discovered to have a significant effect on self-efficacy among nursing students undergoing internships (p=0.000). Conclusions: The Mini-CEX was concluded to effectively increase self-efficacy among nursing students and is suggested as a mandatory method for evaluating these students.

Guarea is one of the largest genera of the American Meliaceae family, consisting of over 69 species which are widely distributed in Mexico, Argentina, and Africa and are used in traditional medicine for several diseases. Previous studies reported that the Guarea species produce secondary metabolites such as sesquiterpenoid, diterpenoid, triterpenoid, limonoid, steroid, and aromatic compounds. The preliminary chemical investigation commenced by isolating the limonoid compound, dihydrogedunin, in 1962; then, 240 compounds were obtained from the isolation and hydrodistillation process. Meanwhile, sesquiterpenoid is a significant compound with 52% of Guarea species. The extract and compounds were evaluated for their anti-inflammation, antimalarial, antiparasitic, antiprotozoal, antiviral, antimicrobial, insecticidal, antioxidant, phosphorylation inhibitor, and cytotoxic biological activities. The Guarea genus has also been reported as one of the sources of active compounds for medicinal chemistry. This review summarizes some descriptions regarding the types of Guarea species, especially ethnobotany and ethnopharmacology, such as the compounds isolated from the part of this genus, various isolation methods, and their bioactivities. The information can be used in further investigations to obtain more bioactive compounds and their reaction mechanisms.

Tanaman kelapa sawit cenderung menjadi tanaman primadona masyarakat di Kabupaten Dharmasraya saat sekarang. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya produktivitas perkebunan sawit rakyat tersebut adalah karena teknologi produksi yang diterapkan masih relatif sederhana, mulai dari pembibitan sampai dengan panennya. Dengan penerapan teknologi budidaya yang tepat, akan berpotensi untuk peningkatan produksi kelapa sawit. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan cara: 1) memberikan peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat Nagari Silago mengenai teknologi produksi kelapa sawit, 2) peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah pertanian menjadi lebih bermanfaat 3) mendorong semangat petani agar dapat lebih memaksimalkan potensi pertanian Nagari Silago. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 26-27 Oktober 2019. Jumlah mahasiswa yang dilibatkan adalah sebanyak 150 orang. Metode pelaksanaan dengan pembelajaran orang dewasa. Masyarakat Nagari Silago sangat antusias mendengarkan dan berdiskusi tentang Teknologi budidaya kelapa sawit. Masyarakat banyak bertanya dan terjadi diskusi yang baik mulai dari asal bibit dan teknik pembibitan kelapa sawit, pembukaan lahan, pemupukan, kastrasi, pengendalian hama dan penyakit pada tanaman kelapa sawit.

Abstract The lecturers and community-based science and technology service activities are carried out as an effort to control white root fungal disease caused by Rigidiporus microporus or Rigidoporus lignosus which is difficult to control by farmers because it attacks the root system of rubber plants. One effort that can be done to control this JAP disease is the application of Trichoderma sp in the nursery of rubber plants, so that the rubber seedlings that will be planted fries have been protected by Trichoderma sp. The partner in this service activity is the True Nursery Breeder farmer group which is a group of rubber seed breeder farmers. Farmers are trained to be able to propagate Trichoderma sp and utilize agricultural waste into compost using Trichoderma sp as a decomposer. This activity was held in Kenagarian Sungai Dareh, Pulau Punjung District, Dharmasraya Regency. The result of this activity is that the farmers succeeded in propagating Trichoderma sp using bran as a growing medium, farmers have also made compost from agricultural waste around their environment. After isolating the soil of rubber seed media that has been applied Trichoderma sp, it is known that Trichoderma sp successfully grows well in the soil media and the root system of rubber seedlings. Thus, farmers have been able to do nurseries using Trichoderma sp as an initial effort to overcome the attacks of white root fungus. Rubber seeds with Trichoderma sp, compost and Trichoderma sp produced by the True Nursery breeders have been marketed to farmers and the community around Kenagarian Sungai Dareh, so that this activity can help improve the welfare of farmers.

Teknologi sambung pucuk (top grafting) dilakukan pada tanaman alpukat dengan tujuan terutama adalah untuk mendapatkan tanaman anakan yang memiliki karakteristik kualitas tanaman dan buah yang sama dengan induknya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendiseminasikan teknologi sambung pucuk pada masyarakat Giri Maju agar keunggulan karakter kultivar alpukat Giri Maju dapat dipertahankan. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dilakukan sebagai salah satu bentuk kegiatan KKN-PPM Universitas Andalas tahun 2018 pada empat mitra kelompok tani. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi pembelajaran masyarakat melalui penyuluhan dan diskusi, demonstrasi dan pelatihan menyambung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa diseminasi teknologi sambung pucuk sangat bermanfaat bagi petani dengan tingkat manfaat sebesar 98% dan sangat dibutuhkan oleh oleh sebagian besar masyarakat (95%). Kegiatan diseminasi teknologi sambung pucuk alpukat mendorong masyarakat untuk semakin membudidayakan alpukat dan mengembangkan alpukat unggul Giri Maju. Kata kunci: Alpukat, Pendaftaran Varietas, Sambung Pucuk, Diseminasi Teknologi Dissemination of Top Grafting Technology on Girimaju Avocado in Kabupaten Pasaman Barat ABSTRACT: Giri Maju’s avocado is one of the local avocado cultivars which is recommended to registered as a superior variety. This cultivar is derived from Nagari Persiapan Giri Maju, kecamatan Luhak Nan Duo, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Top grafting technology is applied on avocado with the objective mainly to obtain progenies that have characteristics which are similar with those of their maternal parents. The aim of activity was to disseminate top grafting technology to community in Giri Maju, hence the superiority of that cultivar could be maintained. The dissemination activities were adopted as KKN-PPM activities that have been conducted on four farmer communities in 2018. Methods of activities include community learning, demonstration of grafting techniques and training. Results of the activities are the farmers gain knowledge and skill to graft avocado. Based on statistical test using Likert analysis, the transfer technology have benefits and are useful (98%), and are needed (95%) by the community. The problem in this study is the occurrence of sales fluctuations or instability of sales figures in the Simabur Indah Unit. The question that arises is how to map the social marketing network in the Tupperware Distributor Simabur Indah Unit and who are the actors who have high centrality in the system. The purpose of this study is to produce a mapping of the social marketing network in the Tupperware Distributor Simabur Indah Unit and to know the existence of actors who have high centrality values in the system. The analysis used consists of social network analysis that includes three things at once, namely as a theory, as a method and as a data analysis technique. The approach used is a quantitative approach with the type of descriptive research. The findings of this study are in the form of sociogram mapping of the social network marketing structure in the Tupperware Distributor Simabur Indah Unit, and the complete network obtained by using degree centrality and betweenness centrality.

Kelapa sawit adalah salah satu komoditas pertanian yang mempunyai peran penting dalam subsektor perkebunan di Indonesia. Tanaman kelapa sawit dapat diserang oleh berbagai hama dimulai dari pembibitan hingga tanaman yang telah dibudidayakan di lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari hama utama pada perkebunan kelapa sawit rakyat di Kecamatan Sembilan Koto Kabupaten Dharmasraya. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Nagari Koto IV Nan Dibawah, Silago dan Banai selama 3 bulan yaitu dari bulan September sampai November 2018. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode Porposive Random Sampling di kebun kelapa sawit rakyat umur 2-5 tahun dengan luas areal ± 1 ha. Pengambilan serangga dilakukan dengan koleksi secara langsung. Pengamatan hama dilakukan satu kali dua minggu. Serangga yang didapat dipisahkan berdasarkan fungsionalnnya. Serangga yang tergolong hama diidentifikasi dilaboratorium Bioekologi Serangga Jurusan Hama dan Penyakit Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Andalas dan Laboratorium Tanah dan Tanaman Kampus III Unand Dharmasraya. Serangga hama yang ditemukan pada penelitian sebanyak 20 spesies, 9 famili dan 4 ordo. Hama paling banyak ditemukan adalah Bothrogonia ferugenia. Persentase serangan tertinggi terdapat di Nagari Silago dengan kerusakan serangan sebesar 88,33%, dan Intensitas kerusakan hama yaitu 9,60 %.

Maize is the main cash crop in intercropping system applied for replanting of palm oil which is expected to be the main source of income before palm oil crops produce. The transfer of maize cultivation technology in small holder palm oil plantation is aimed at increasing production of maize without harming the main crops and maintaining the productivity of land and the environment. Increased income can also be done through efforts to increase the added value of maize seeds into various food products. KKN-PPM activities that took place in Nagari Persiapan Girimaju, Luhak Nan Duo sub-district, West Pasaman district from June to August 2018 aimed to transfer maize production technology that is environmentally friendly and to transfer knowledge and skills in increasing the value added of maize into various food and other processed products. Results obtained from the KKN activities were (1) the community was able to apply maize production technology which was synergized with cattle farming, (2) there was an increase in the efficiency of maize production through introduction of maize sheller machine, (3) the community was able to produce a variety of maize-based food products and ( 4) the formation of new UMKMs in the location. The results of statistical analysis using a Likert scale gave an index value of 0.99 on the impact/benefits of KKN, indicating that KKN-PPM activities were categorized as very successful and benefited to the community, and gave an index value of 0.95 for the performance of KKN team, indicating that KKN-PPM team had sufficient competency and suitability knowledge with the program conducted.

Mudskipper is one species of fish that lives in the estuary area and they have adaptations to two different habitats. The aims of the study was determine the species composition, diversity and abundance of mudskipper species in estuary areas with different locations, namely in the estuary and mangrove areas of Kembapi Beach. Sampling was carried out at low tide, carried out by using a wire mesh tool that was designed separately and manually using hands. The results of research on both research stations were obtained 4 genera and 7 species of mudskipper namely Boleophthalmus boddarti, B. pectinirostris, Oxuderces dentatus, Periophthalmus argentilineatus, P. malaccensis, P. takita and Scartelaos histophorus. Station II in the mangrove area of Kambapi Beach has the highest relative abundance with a percentage of 63.24% obtained from the type of Boleophthalmus boddarti. On the contrary, at station I in the Maro River estuary area, the highest relative abundance was also of the type B. boddarti with a percentage of 32.95%. The range of diversity index values at station I is 0.24 - 1.41 indicating the level of moderate diversity. Station II range of the diversity index during the study ranged from 0.08 to 0.66. The average dominance value at both stations is station I at 0.56 and station II at 0.71. Ikan gelodok merupakan salah satu spesies ikan yang hidup pada daerah estuari dan memiliki adaptasi terhadap dua habitat yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi jenis, keanekaragaman dan kelimpahan spesies ikan gelodok pada daerah estuari dengan lokasi yang berbeda yaitu pada daerah muara sungai dan kawasan mangrove Pantai Kembapi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada saat air surut, dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat bubu dari kawat ram yang didesain tersendiri dan secara manual yakni dengan menggunakan tangan. Hasil penelitian pada kedua stasiun penelitian diperoleh sebanyak 4 genus dan 7 spesies ikan gelodok yaitu Boleophthalmus boddarti, B. pectinirostris, Oxuderces dentatus, Periophthalmus argentilineatus, P. malaccensis, P. takita dan Scartelaos histophorus. Stasiun II di kawasan mangrove Pantai Kambapi memiliki kelimpahan relatif tertinggi dengan presentase sebesar 63,24% diperoleh dari jenis Boleophthalmus boddarti. Sebaliknya pada stasiun I di daerah muara Sungai Maro, kelimpahan relative tertinggi juga dari jenis Boleophthalmus boddarti dengan presentase sebesar 32,95%. Kisaran nilai indeks keanekaragaman pada stasiun I sebesar 0,24 – 1,41 menunjukkan tingkat keanekaragaman sedang. Satasiun II kisaran indeks keanekaragaman selama penelitian antara 0,08 – 0,66. Rata-rata nilai dominansi pada kedua stasiun yaitu stasiun I sebesar 0,56 dan stasiun II sebesar 0,71.

Biology and demographic statistics of lady beetle Coccinella transversalis Thunberg (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) using Aphis gossypii (Hemiptera: Aphididae) as prey was studied in laboratory. Development of C. transversalis from egg to adult was 31.02±4.73 days. The egg stage lasted for 2.33±0.58 days. Larva stage has four instars, which lasted for 2.43±0.19 days (instar I); 2.53 days±0.19 (instar II); 2.64±0.04 days (instar III), and 2.77±0.21 days (instar IV). A female laid 90.44±14.38 eggs. Meanwhile, gross reproduction rate (GRR) of C. transversalis was 74.80 individuals per generation, the net reproduction rate (R0) was 18.22 individual per female per generation, the innate capacity for increase (rm) was 0.46 individual female per day, the mean generation time (T) 12.40 days, and the double population value (DT) was 1.51 days. Intisari Masa perkembangan pradewasa dan imago serta keperidian Coccinella transversalis (Thunberg) (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) telah diteliti di laboratorium dengan menggunakan Aphis gossypii (Glover) (Homoptera: Aphididae) sebagai mangsa. Masa perkembangan C. transversalis sejak stadium telur hingga menjadi imago adalah 31,02±4,73 hari. Perkembangan larva terdiri dari empat instar, masa perkembangan instar I sampai IV berturut-turut adalah 2,43±0,19 hari; 2,53±0,19 hari; 2,64±0,04 hari, dan 2,77±0,21 hari, dengan masa pupa 3,18±0,77 hari. Umur imago betina C. transversalis lebih panjang jika dibandingkan dengan imago jantan yakni 15,14±1,90 dan 13,63±1,00 hari. Imago betina meletakkan telur setelah melewati masa pra oviposisi selama 2,67±0,58 hari. Masa oviposisi C. transversalis yakni 8,97±0,89 hari dengan jumlah telur yang diletakkan yakni 90,44±14,38 butir. Parameter demografi C. transversalis adalah laju reproduksi kotor (GRR) adalah 74,80 individu per generasi; laju reproduksi bersih (Ro) 18,22 individu per induk per generasi; laju pertumbuhan intrinsik (rm) sebesar 0,46 individu per induk per hari; masa rata-rata generasi (T) selama 12,40 hari; dan nilai pelipatgandaan populasi (DT) adalah 1,51 hari.

Dengue Hemorragic Fever (DHF) is a disease that spread rapidly. The way of spreading dengue fever through Aedes Aegypti mosquito bites. During the year of 2005-2009, the incident of DHF in DKI Jakarta was always high. It is a challenge for local government in Jakarta to solve the problem. Controling the growth of dengue virus through PSN (Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk) movement requires perseverance, motivation, and community participation. Therefore, research which describe about health behavior related practice of DHF prevention in society is need to be conducted. This quantitative research with cross sectional method aim to describe the DHF prevention practice in an endemic DHF place. The purposive sampling method was used to gain 148 research participants. This study found that 68,69% research participants have prevention practices at a moderate level, and there are still 15% have bad prevention practices. Based on this it is expected that assistance and support of health workers can improve the prevention practice of DHF.

Background: Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is the most rapidly spreading mosquito-borne viral disease in the world. It is an emerging disease, episodic and occurring annually. Aims: This study was to examine the knowledge, attitude, and practice of community in Palmeriam, Jakarta regarding dengue hemorrhagic fever. Methods: A community-based cross-sectional study was designed in this study between June to July 2016. Purposive sampling was done to collect data from 148 respondents. Results: This study found that average age was 47 years old, 75% were women, and 46.6% finished secondary high school. In another hand, 23.6% respondents had good knowledge, and 49.3% had a neutral attitude for preventing dengue hemorrhagic fever. The study found that 68.2% respondents had a mid-level of practice prevention dengue hemorrhagic fever and it can be improved. This study indicated that the community was quite familiar with Dengue hemorrhagic fever, but there was confusion about water storage and environment effect. Conclusion: Health promotion program and community participation should improve dengue awareness. Continuous campaign for enhancing the knowledge and attitude would result in better practice for DHF prevention.
