The aim of the study is to evaluate the dydrogesterone as an effective and safe progestin in the treatment of cycle disturbances in adolescence. The study included 116 girls, aged between 12 and 17 years, with the gynecological age 1 to 5 years. The groups included patients with painful menstruation, oligomenorrhoea and dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB). Different regiments of treatment with dydrogesterone were applied. Dydrogesterone in low therapeutical dose, is found to be an effective and save drug in the treatment of menstrual cycle disturbances in adolescence.

Two girls with Swyer syndrome (SS) were described. Diagnosis was established according to clinical data and ultrasound, laparoscope, histopathological, hormonal and cytogenetical examinations. One presents diagnostic possibilities followed advanced methods in genetics. The GTG and RBG high resolution bounding technique and replication analysis of short arms (Xp and Yp) were employed. Normal structure of end segments of X and Y chromosomes was mentioned. Molecular DNA analysis by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) did not find any mutation in SRY gene. Normal structure of this gene does not exclude possibility of SS existence. Our data implicates on the other mechanism of these disturbances.

Using of fresh slides and culture T. vaginalis was found in 1094 persons (3.20%). It has been seen the morphological differentiation of T. vaginalis connected with the age, physiological state of macroorganisms and the clinic picture of trichomoniasis. In vivo, the spheroidal as well as ameboid forms of T. vaginalis were observed. The latter ones, characteristic in acute trichomoniasis, were often seen in pregnant women. On the other hand, nonmobile round-shaped forms of T. vaginalis occurred in vaginal contents of girls, women in child-bed and old (5 years after menopause) women. It seems, that morphologically + variability of T. vaginalis depends on changes of specific environment of human vagina, which is very sensitive to hormonal+ responses. It may be considered as adaptation of parasite to different biological conditions of vaginal environment.

We studied 150 women with primary/secondary amenorrhea and/or oligomenorrhea; in 61 cases we found an abnormal karyotype (i.e. 40.7%): 51 cases in the first group of 110 patients with amenorrhea (i.e. 46%) and 10 cases in the second group of 40 patients with oligomenorrhea and/or secondary amenorrhea (i.e. 25%). The chromosome aberrations we found consisted in X aneuploidy, male karyotype and the different structural changes as mono- and dicentric X isochromosomes, dicentric, ring, deleted or inverted X chromosomes. Our results suggest a cytogenetic examination in patients with primary amenorrhea as well as in patients with oligomenorrhea and/or amenorrhea secundaria.

Partusisten slow-drop infusions were applied to twelve women in labour with spontaneous increase of the uterus tonus in rest. The preparation was found to lower the tonus in rest and to increase the amplitude of uterus contractions.
