Abstract

Summary: The increasing demand for massaging networks that are stable and quick needs reevaluations of standard optical networking administration strategies. To improve the efficacy of optical networks by integrating machine learning (ML) approach for the best resource scheduling, this research presents an innovative dynamic block widow optimized random forest (DBWO‐RF) strategy. To implement the DBWO‐driven resource allocation method in accordance with the categorization and clustering findings, the RF method is incorporated with the software defined optical to achieve channel quality assessment after successfully clustering employs the RF approach to achieve channel quality assessment after successfully clustering traffic patterns using the fuzzy C‐means (FCM) algorithm. To lessen the likelihood of blocking, the fragmentation‐function‐fit (FFF) algorithm was provided and the findings indicate that this approach possesses a reduced blocking risk. Using multiple approaches to modulation for various channel quality, the suggested resource allocation system leverages the DBWO approach to distribute the necessary resources based on various "traffic flow (TF)" clustering findings. The examination's outcomes demonstrate that, compared to other techniques under various given load levels, the present study has a reduced blocking risk, a sufficient complexity degree and greater effectiveness in the utilization of spectrum resources. 31. Smart plant propagation algorithm for the improvement of self-excited induction generator performance

Abstract

India has taken effective initiatives to generate a massive amount of electrical power from wind energy. In order to strengthen the development of offshore wind power, self-excited induction generators (SEIG) have proven to be the best choice. But the global acceptance of this machine depends on its improved voltage and frequency regulation. Therefore, this work investigates the performance of SEIG in short and long shunt configurations under different loading conditions and at different power factors. This paper employs one of nature's most unique and inspired techniques, Plant Propagation Algorithm (PPA), to improve machine performance in terms of flux or voltage. The PPA is based on the propagation strategy of the strawberry plant, which has the potential to colonise new areas in pursuit of better survival chances. From simulated results, it has been observed that the short shunt configuration requires lower shunt and series capacitance in order to improve SEIG performance.

Abstract

WWW, one of the most pervasive technologies for information and service delivery over Internet with a potential to revise and preserve the web applications without dispensing and installing software on doubtlessly millions of client computers. As the web applications are increasingly used for crucial services, they have become a prominent and relevant target for any security outbreak. Software security is a methodology which guards against the malicious attacks and security failures along with an aim to increase system reliability. The prime objective of software security is to gain knowledge about the vulnerabilities in a system and foresee attacker’s motive and perception. This paper reviews the existing techniques of web application security, with the aim of standardizing them into a bigger picture to enable the future research areas. The scrutiny of a web application attack and the attack techniques are also enclosed in details. Lastly the parameters to provide a secure hosting surrounding to the applications are indexed. The paper summarizes the security of web application in a holistic manner and provides a range of ways to ensure that it’s as secure as it can be, as well as forever improving. Abstract

Background There is heterogeneity in the names and anatomical descriptions of regional anesthetic techniques. This may have adverse consequences on education, research, and implementation into clinical practice. We aimed to produce standardized nomenclature for abdominal wall, paraspinal, and chest wall regional anesthetic techniques. Methods We conducted an international consensus study involving experts using a three-round Delphi method to produce a list of names and corresponding descriptions of anatomical targets. After long-list formulation by a Steering Committee, the first and second rounds involved anonymous electronic voting and commenting, with the third round involving a virtual round table discussion aiming to achieve consensus on items that had yet to achieve it. Novel names were presented where required for anatomical clarity and harmonization. Strong consensus was defined as ≥75% agreement and weak consensus as 50% to 74% agreement. Results Sixty expert Collaborators participated in this study. After three rounds and clarification, harmonization, and introduction of novel nomenclature, strong consensus was achieved for the names of 16 block names and weak consensus for four names. For anatomical descriptions, strong consensus was achieved for 19 blocks and weak consensus was achieved for one approach. Several areas requiring further research were identified. Conclusions Harmonization and standardization of nomenclature may improve education, research, and ultimately patient care. We present the first international consensus on nomenclature and anatomical descriptions of blocks of the abdominal wall, chest wall, and paraspinal blocks. We recommend using the consensus results in academic and clinical practice.

Abstract

Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) mixed with hydroxyapatite (HAP) has great potential for application as biomaterial. PVA/HAP powder was synthesized by sol–gel technique and was compressed to make pellets. These samples were examined with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), atomic force microscope (AFM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electrochemical analysis (ECA) techniques. Compound formation of HAP and PVA were studied using XRD and microstructure was investigated by FESEM and AFM. Characteristics properties of the HAP and PVA/HAP composite are compared. Corrosion resistance of PVA/HAP in Ringer solution is better than HAP. Interesting microstructure features are correlated with the corrosion resistance. As the corrosion resistance is related with biocompatibility, the present work can be useful for the hard tissue implant. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
