Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the influence of demographic factors (Age, Annual Income, Educational Qualification, and Total earning members in the family) on behavioral biases (Availability bias, Confirmation bias, Conservatism bias, and Loss-aversion bias) of policyholders of life insurance. The influence of demographic factors on behavioral biases is based on the structured questionnaire survey designed to collect responses from 407 respondents residing in Bihar, India using a convenient sampling technique. The results show that behavioral biases are influenced by demographic factors (Age, Annual Income, Educational Qualification, and Total earning members in the family) as there is a significant difference across the categories of various demographic factors with the respective behavioral biases. The study suggests that behavioral biases affect the decisions of the policyholders, so minimizing these biases is needed in their decision-making process and thus to improve their investment strategies. This study is important for life insurance companies and agents to understand the investment behavior of life insurance policyholders. This study contributes to the limited research done in the area of investment decision-making by investors in life insurance. It contributes to the lacking academe on life insurance. Abstract

The uncontrolled growth and spread of cancerous cells beyond their usual boundaries into surrounding tissues characterizes cancer. In developed countries, cancer is the leading cause of death, while in underdeveloped nations, it ranks second. Using existing cancer diagnostic tools has increased early detection rates, which is crucial for effective cancer treatment. In recent decades, there has been significant progress in cancer‐specific survival rates owing to advances in cancer detection and treatment. The ability to accurately identify precursor lesions is a crucial aspect of effective cancer screening programs, as it enables early treatment initiation, leading to lower long‐term incidence of invasive cancer and improved overall prognosis. However, these diagnostic methods have limitations, such as high costs and technical challenges, which can make accurate diagnosis of certain deep‐seated tumors difficult. Abstract

Lung cancer holds the position of being the primary cause of cancer‐related fatalities on a global scale. Furthermore, it exhibits the highest mortality rate among all types of cancer. The survival rate within a span of 5 years is less than 20%, primarily due to the fact that the disease is often diagnosed at an advanced stage, resulting in less effective treatment options compared to earlier stages. There are two main types of primary lung cancer: nonsmall‐cell lung cancer, which accounts for approximately 80%–85% of all cases, and small‐cell lung cancer, which is categorized based on the specific type of cells in which the cancer originates. The understanding of the biology of this disease and the identification of oncogenic driver alterations have significantly transformed the landscape of therapeutic approaches. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) play a crucial role in regulating various physiological and pathological processes through diverse molecular mechanisms. Among these lncRNAs, lncRNA H19, initially identified as an oncofetal transcript, has garnered significant attention due to its elevated expression in numerous tumors. Extensive research has confirmed its involvement in tumorigenesis and malignant progression by promoting cell growth, invasion, migration, epithelial‐mesenchymal transition, metastasis, and therapy resistance. This comprehensive review aims to provide an overview of the aberrant overexpression of lncRNA H19 and the molecular pathways through which it contributes to the advancement of lung cancer. The findings of this review highlight the potential for further investigation into the diagnosis and treatment of this disease, offering promising avenues for future research. Significance Statement: Since today the role of different long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in the development of various cancers has been determined to some extent, our aim is to investigate the role of lncRNA H19 in the progression of lung cancer. Rapid progression in technology has resulted in the tremendous growth & development of FinTechs, which significantly transformed the framework of the Indian Financial System. So, the present research aims at contributing to the literature by employing extended TAM to examine Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Government Influence (GI) & Security (S) as the factor influencing users' Intention to Adopt (ITA) FinTech Services in India. Our findings revealed that PEOU, PU & GI significantly impact the usage of Financial Technological Services while Security has an insignificant influence on users' intentions. Moreover, it was found that PU mediates the association of PEOU with ITA. Therefore, the present research contributes to the literature concerned with factors affecting users' ITA FinTech Services and validating Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in anticipating users' ITA FinTech Services by adding Security & Government Influence as additional constructs.
